Chapter 3, Flowey.

Frisk slowly woke up, the first thing that she realised was that she was lying on something incredibly soft, Frisk snuggled into the soft thing as her memories slowly came back to her and she realised that there was something wrong, she shouldn't be able to feel anything.

"How am I alive" she thought, Frisk remembered running away from home and then jumping down the hole, she should be dead, Frisk wondered if she had dreamed everything, but that couldn't be the case whatever she was lying on was far too soft to be her mattress.

Frisk opened her eyes and the first thing see saw was yellow, Frisk sat up and saw that she was sitting in a very thick bed of yellow flowers, Frisk thought that the flowers looked very beautiful and she felt bad that she had crushed some of them with her body.

Frisk looked around and saw that she was in a dark cave, looking up Frisk could only just see the hole that she had fallen dawn, "So, it wasn't a dream" thought Frisk, it was then that her situation began to dawn on Frisk.

Frisk wondered why she had to survive the fall, it was supposed to be her way out, and now the only thing she could think about was how she was going to die slowly down here.

Frisk hugged her knees to her chest and began to cry, she didn't bother trying to cry quietly like she would at home there was no one here for her to annoy.

"Hey, what's with the long face" said a sweet friendly voice, Frisk both surprised and scared stopped crying and looked around for who had spoken however she couldn't see anyone.

"Down here" said the voice, Frisk looked down and saw that there was a large flower that strangely had a face, the flower was about a foot tall and it had yellow petals, he had a very friendly smile on his face.

"Howdy, I'm Flowey, Flowey the flower" said the flower, Frisk blinked several times and wondered if she had hit her head when she fell, she knew that flowers couldn't talk.

"My, you must be so confused, I guess little old me will have to tell you what's going on here" said Flowey, Frisk didn't move or say a word, "You see you've fallen into the Underground, it's where all the monsters live" said Flowey.

Frisk immediately felt fear run through her body, she remembered all of the stories she had heard about monsters and how dangers they was, Flowey didn't seem to notice how afraid Frisk was and continued talking.

"However you seem pretty weak to go wondering around here all alone, but don't worry I can help you" said Flowey, this caught Frisk's interest, "You see you might start out weak but you can get stronger by gaining LV" continued Flowey.

Frisk only looked confused, "What's LV" she asked, "Why LV stands for LOVE, do you what some" said Flower, Frisk nodded she was starting to feel a little more at ease Flower seemed to be very friendly.

Little white balls that resembled pollen emerged from Flowey's body, "Down here LOVE is shared through these little friendliness pellets, here catch some" said Flowey as his friendliness pellets moved towards Frisk.

Frisk opened her arms and let the friendliness pellets hit her in the chest, however Frisk didn't feel stronger, instead she felt intense pain run through her body that forced her to the ground.

Frisk looked at Flowey and saw that his friendly smile had been replaced with one of pure sadistic joy, "You little idiot, in this world it's KILL OR BE KILLED, now give me your soul" said Flowey his friendly voice was replaced with one that sent shivers up Frisk's spine.

Flowey created more pellets and began to laugh like a maniac while the injured Frisk cowered in fear, suddenly a fire ball came out of nowhere and hit Flowey in the side before he could fire his pellet.

Flowey screamed in pain as he was sent flying away from Frisk, seconds later a humanoid goat lady wearing a purple dress appeared, her hand was still smoking from the fire ball she had just thrown.

"What a horrible creature, attacking a poor innocent youth like that" said the goat lady, the goat lady turned to Frisk and gasped in shock, "Oh my god, you're a human" she said as she ran up to Frisk.

Frisk completely terrified tried to scurry away but her injury from Flowey was too severer and she hardly made it off of the flower bed before collapsing.

The goat lady felt a great sense of sympathy at seeing how badly injured and frightened Frisk was, "Don't worry my child, I won't hurt you" said the goat lady as she approached Frisk as nonthreateningly as possible, however Frisk only curled up into a ball to try and protect herself.

The goat lady was now right next to Frisk, "I'm sorry that I couldn't be here sooner" she said as she tried to calm the crying terrified girl down, however Frisk only flinched at her touch.

The goat lady sighed as she saw that Frisk was still in pain, "Here maybe this will help" she said, a bright green light appeared in the goat lady's hand and then she placed it on Frisk.

Frisk suddenly felt a strange sensation run through her body, the pain from Flowey's attack slowly disappeared, not only that but all of the other pain from her father's beating also disappeared, when the goat lady removed her hand Frisk could feel no pain at all.

Frisk was still in a ball but no longer shaking, she raised her head a little to look at the goat lady, "Greetings my child, I am Toriel" said the goat lady introducing herself.

Frisk wasn't sure what she should do, Toriel seemed nice, but then Flowey had seemed nice at first as well, was Toriel just trying to trick her like Flowey had.

Toriel could see that Frisk was still very unsure and it pained her to know that this child's first experience in the Underground had been a violent one.

"Please young one, I know that you're scared but I promise that I won't hurt you" said Toriel as she held her hand out to Frisk, Frisk hesitated at first but then she took Toriel's hand and the goat lady helped her to her feet.

Once Frisk was standing Toriel gently brushed the dirt off of her, "There we go, now you look a little more presentable" said Toriel, it was at this point that Torliel got a good look at Frisk, when she did she made a rather odd expression.

"Is something wrong" asked Frisk in a timid voice, Toriel realised that she had been staring "Oh I'm sorry, it's just you look a little bit like someone I once knew" she said.

"Oh my where are my manners, I completely forgot to ask you your name" said Toriel, Frisk wondered if she should tell Toriel her name but in the end she decided that it wouldn't make her situation any worse, "I'm Frisk" she said.

Toriel smiled at seeing that Frisk seemed to be a little less frightened now, "Well Frisk would you like to come with me, I can take you to a safe place" said Toriel, Frisk hesitated again but she knew that she didn't really have any other options but to trust Toriel, "Ok" said Frisk.

"Ok then my child, just follow me" said Toriel as she gently took Frisk by the hand and led her out of the dark room, as they left Frisk looked back at where Flowey had been but he was nowhere to be seen.
