Led by Dorian Harry walked with the mage through Skyhold as he was given a tour of the fortress. Harry couldn't help but look around himself as they both walked, the fortress that was now known as Skyhold was huge and in a way reminded Harry of a castle however as he had walked through it he could see that the fortress still needed some work done to it.

Dorian with Harry walked down the stairs that led from his and now Harry's bedroom, once down from the bedroom and down the stairs he showed Harry the garden.

Harry noticed that Dorian still had a cheerful smile on his face, in fact the mage was practically beaming with happiness.

"This is Skyhold's garden, here is where the inquisition grows plants that later get used for potions and we also have a special room for people to pray"

Harry looked around himself, from where he and Dorian stood nearby there were an assortment of potted plants, in the garden of Skyhold there was also other flowers, a sort of gazebo, a few trees and some seats for people to sit on.

Next Harry was taken into the interior of Skyhold where at the end of the large and long room the wizard saw a throne. Dorian explained that in the throne room was where the Inquisitor would pass judgement on criminals who would get brought to Skyhold.

"So the inquisitor is the one charge around here then?" asked Harry.

Dorian gave a nod, "Yes, and he is the one who makes all the important decisions"

Harry frowned, "What kind of man is he? I know I met him when you and your friends rescued me from the Fade but…."

"Don't worry Harry, Inquisitor Trevelyan is a good man" said Dorian trying to look reassuring.

"Ok…Good then" Harry said.

Harry wondered what the Inquisitor would have Harry do for the inquisition if the man allowed Harry to stay at Skyhold. Harry was not looking forward to it but he supposed that to stay and be trusted he would have to explain to the Inquisitor why Harry was in the Fade and why he had been betrayed. Afterall he did say to the Inquisitor, Dorian and the others who had saved him that he would explain it further when they all escaped from the Fade.

Harry remembered about the man who had sacrificed his own life to give them time to escape from the Fade and a wave of guilt washed through him. Garrett Hawke was most likely dead now, having to fight that massive nightmare demon all alone….it had probably killed the man.

"Dorian….um…That man who gave us time to escape does he have any family or friends? Have they been told of his death?"

Dorian's happy smile faltered and he looked sad, a serious expression was on his face now.

"Yes, I think they have been"

Dorian stared at Harry, he felt selfish thinking this but he felt grateful towards Garrett Hawke. If the man hadn't chosen to sacrifice himself he was sure that Harry would have and Harry was his soul mate…His Amatus…he couldn't lose him. He just couldn't.

"It's not your fault Harry, Hawke chose to stay and fight that demon."

Harry was silent but he gave a grim nod and a sigh.

Dorian looked across the room and saw Varric Tethras, a dwarf who he sometimes travelled with.

"Come with me Harry, I'll introduce to you someone who sometimes travels with me."

Harry gave a nod and they both walked over to the dwarf.

"Sparkler, who do you have with you?" Varric said curiously.

Dorian ignored the use of the dwarf's nickname for him and introduced Harry to Varric.

"Varric this man with me is Harry Potter"

Dorian now had a happy smile on his face again as he then looked to Harry, "Harry this man is Varric Tethras, I travel with him sometimes"

Varric stared at Harry and gave a chuckle, "Nice to meet you, good to see you're finally awake"

"Glad to finally be awake and out of that horrible place" Harry said.

"I don't envy you" muttered Varric. "Will you be joining the Inquisition" asked the dwarf.

"I don't know …Depends what the Inquisitor thinks of me, I guess" Harry said with a smile , though it was sort of forced.

"I'm sure you'll be okay, don't worry" said Varric. The dwarf tried to look reassuring as he said this. He then turned his attention to Dorian. "Hey if you're introducing him to the others here, meet with the Seeker last. She's been wanting to question him and you know how she gets"

Dorian gave a nod, "Will do" agreed the mage.

Harry and Dorian then soon left the dwarf and Dorian continued the tour. He showed Harry through a door close to Varric and they entered through a short hallway until they were in a circular room that had paintings upon the walls , though some of the walls were still unpainted, there was also a long table in the middle of the room and a couch sat in the room near to the door.

Harry stared at the paintings, he stepped closer to admire them more when he heard a voice say "Ah you're awake"

Harry turned to see an elf walk towards Dorian and Harry with a pleased expression on his face. The elf was wearing plain clothes, Harry smiled politely to the elf as Dorian soon introduced them.

"Harry this is Solas, he is a mage. You met him in the Fade when we rescued you"

"Yes...I think I do remember you from the Fade. Hello, it's good to meet you my name is Harry Potter" said Harry.

"How are you feeling? Do you feel any side effects from being in the Fade for so long? Are you still able to perform magic?" asked Solas.

Harry was silent for a moment and he gave a glance towards Dorian for a slight moment, before answering the elf.

"I feel fine… I do think that my magic has changed while I was in the Fade but I haven't tried to cast any magic since I woke up"

"Really? How did your magic change?" questioned Solas, looking quite interested.

A frown made it's way upon Harry's face and he gave a sigh , "I could still use all the magic spells I was able to perform before I was in the Fade but I think that somehow the Fade has made my magic stronger …..especially with elemental magic."

Harry then gave a nervous glance towards Dorian, Harry suddenly wished that his soul mate wasn't in the room to hear this but he said it anyway. "After a while of being in the Fade whenever I performed magic my eyes would sometimes ….er glow a bright green."

"Fascinating…" commented Solas. "Well can you show us some of your magic right now? We are in Skyhold currently so a simple spell may do."

Harry still with a polite smile on his face said, "Maybe later, if that is okay. Dorian is showing me around Skyhold right now and introducing me to some of the people he travels with"

"I see…. Quite understandable. Well, after you meet the others Dorian was planning on introducing you to and after you explain your circumstances to the Inquisitor, I would love to see the magic that you can do Harry"

Harry gave a nod, while Dorian was wearing a slight frown on his handsome face.

After meeting Solas Harry was taken upstairs where he met a female mage who was named Vivienne, she was another person in the Inquisition who Dorian had travelled with. She seemed to be quite suspicious of him as he had been found in the Fade.

Dorian shortly after showed Harry the library before taking Harry downstairs and outside where the mage showed Harry the stables. Harry met the man Blackwall and then Dorian took Harry to the pub.

The pub was quiet as they entered, though there was talking, laughter to be heard and music to be heard coming from a woman who was singing and playing some kind of musical instrument.

"While we're here why don't I get us a drink each? Just find a couple of seats for us" said Dorian.

Harry gave a slight nod at Dorian's words and looked for somewhere for them to sit while Dorian walked over to the pub counter to order.

Harry soon sat down at a table that was near some stairs that led up to more parts of the pub.

The wait for Dorian wasn't long at all but while Harry sat alone he couldn't help but feel nervous, nervous to be amongst the people of this world that he was now in. The pub wasn't crowded but Harry had only woken up from been in the Fade only days ago so he still felt affected (mentally and emotionally) from what he had experienced in that horrific, nightmarish like place. Though it was a huge relief to be out of the Fade, Dorian's world felt new and strange to Harry and he wasn't sure that he felt completely safe yet. He felt some of the fear he had felt in the Fade still …. he supposed though that with time that would go away.

Soon Harry saw Dorian walking towards him with a drink in each hand and he smiled.

Dorian smiled at Harry as he sat down opposite Harry and gave Harry's drink to him.

"Thank you" murmured Harry.

Harry then started to drink his beer, more to avoid conversation than anything else as he wasn't sure he was ready to talk to Dorian about his time in the Fade or how he had got to be there. Though he was certain that to stay in Skyhold he would probably have to give some kind of explanation to the people in charge of the Inquisition.

After they drank their drinks Dorian introduced Harry to Sera the elf who Harry wasn't sure liked him very much and a Qunari who was simply called the Iron Bull. The Iron Bull was a man who was very muscular in appearance, looked quite strong, had one eye, had facial hair, and had a pair of horns that in Harry's opinion seemed quite similar to that of a dragon.

Dorian seemed almost reluctant to introduce the Qunari to Harry but did so anyway.

"Harry this is the Iron Bull, he is another friend who I travel with sometimes" said Dorian. "Bull this Harry Potter, we saved him from the Fade and he's only just awoken days ago."

The Iron Bull looked interested and eyed Harry up and down and then stared at Harry's eyes, admiration in his only eye. He grinned, "Good to meet you" he said.

"Um…yeah, good to meet you too"

"You must feel pretty fucked up after being in the Fade" said the Iron Bull.

Harry was silent for a quick moment before he gave a slight nod, "Yeah but I'm trying not to think of that horrible place now that I'm free from there. It…It was kind of fucked up in there."

Harry's words had been quiet, Dorian looked at Harry with concern and the Iron Bull gave him a sympathetic look.

"Well…if you ever need anyone to help you destress or help you get rid of some of that fear…." began the Qunari before he was interrupted by Dorian.

"Actually Bull…There's...There won't be any need for that, Harry is my boyfriend. If he needs someone to help him destress or ease his fears he can do so with me"

Harry looked at Dorian with surprise and he suddenly felt a hand being subtly placed at his waist. Dorian's stare at the Iron Bull was a hard, angry look, almost a glare.

Harry was silent for a moment but gave a nod. "Yes, Bull…Dorian and I are together"

The Iron Bull grinned at Harry again and didn't seem fazed by Dorian's anger, "Nice…" he said, before giving a chuckle and drinking some of his beer. "Will you be joining the Inquisition?" he asked.

"Maybe but that really depends on what the Inquisitor decides" Harry said.

"Well…maybe see you around then" said the Qunari.

"Yeah, maybe…"

Harry soon was led away by Dorian who still seemed a bit protective.

There was another person that Dorian wanted to introduce Harry to, a person called Cole but Dorian couldn't find him anywhere.

"Dorian, you ok?" said Harry quietly as they left the pub.

Dorian gave a nod and a sigh, "Yes, I am fine. Just…Um…. Sorry about what just happened with Bull. I just got a bit..."

Dorian gave another sigh.

Harry smiled and he said, "That's okay Dorian…I think I understand"

The wizard pressed a quick kiss to one of Dorian's cheeks before saying "I should talk with the Inquisitor now, can you take me to him Dorian?"

Dorian nodded and the mage soon took Harry up to see the Inquisitor.

Dorian knocked upon the door of the Inquisitor's room and moments later both Dorian and Harry heard a male's voice say "Come in" before the soul mates entered the room. The Inquisitor was a man with short dark brown hair, facial scars and he had an athletic sort of build. When he saw Dorian and Harry he smiled and walked towards them both.

"Harry, you're awake. What a relief, Dorian has been very worried. My name is Maxwell Trevelyan, I'm the Inquisitor"

"It's nice to meet you, I'm sorry if I have worried anyone" said Harry.

Trevelyan gave a shake of his head, as if to dismiss Harry's apology. "Please, there is no need to apologize as it wasn't your fault. Have you met with Solas yet? He has been wanting to talk with you if you awoke."

"Yes, I've met with him" Harry said.

"Good, now come walk with me, we can discuss your situation and I want you to meet the others who help me run the Inquisition. They want to hear how and why you were found in the Fade"

Harry nodded. "Yes, I understand" he said quietly.

The Inquisitor turned to Dorian, "Dorian do you think you could wait for Harry? Since you and Harry have some kind of romantic relationship it would be best that you are not there while we question him."

Dorian frowned, "Inquisitor I…" the Mage began, he didn't really want to leave Harry's side right now. "I…I would prefer to be with him"

Harry looked to Dorian, "It's fine Dorian, wait for me…please? I promise I'll tell you about it later and I'll make it up to you"

"But…. I …." Said Dorian before soon giving a sigh, "Fine, very well, I will wait. I will be returning to our room"

"Thank you" said Harry.

"Don't worry Dorian, Harry will be fine. You have my word" Maxwell reassured.

Dorian gave another sigh, and he gave Harry a brief kiss on the lips before leaving the room.
