"Woah. This place is awesome! How does this thing even float?"
Pema smiled, proud of her creation. "Once I was given my Grace, as a gift for my future missions my master gave me a gift. A floating mansion in the sky; I call it the Graceful Manor."
"Who's your master?"
"That is information I do not wish to share."
Tristan put is head on a nearby cabinet, looked up at Pema and said "Why not? He evil?"
Pema scoffed, "Of course you're just as much of an idiot as Lancelot."
Tristan's eyes widened, "Lancelot?! Like Prince Lancelot of the Fairy King's Forest?! Our fathers both were in the 7 deadly sins!"
"You do realise most of the Graces are descendants of the 7 deadly sins, right?"
Tristan looked around, stopped in his tracks. "Does that mean Gaia is here too?!"
Pema nodded, "Indeed it does, Gaia the Grace of Peace is probably having lunch in the dining hall with everyone else."
Tristan bolted to the left, "Hell yeah! I'm starving!"
Pema shook her head in disapproval, "The dining hall, is on the right Tristan."
Tristan awkwardly reentered the room, "Of course it is."
In the kitchen, a young, muscular man with short blonde hair and a scar on his forehead was cooking. At the table, sat 2 beautiful girls. One of them was Gaia, the daughter of King and Diane: although being quit young for her species, she looked like a 6 foot tall teenager. With long, light brown hair tied in large twin tails liker her mother, her eyes were a sparking purple as well. The other woman Tristan hadn't met.
Tristan ran into the kitchen and hugged Lancelot, "So good to see you again! I haven't seen you in years! Still got that scar I gave you?"
"It was supposed to be a brawl! You picked up a sword!"
Tristan patted his head, "No need to get so worked up about it, have fun cooking."
Gaia stood up from here seat and hugged Tristan, "It's been too long Tristan. I was kind of expecting you to be the 5th Grace."
"Thanks Gaia."
Tristan focused on the girl he didn't recognise, he dusted off his shirt and stuck out his hand. "I don't believe we've met before, I'm Tristan. Pleasure to meet you."
The girl had long black hair, tied back into a ponytail. Her eyes were green, a more darker shade; quite odd for any species. "I'm Zenyth. I guess it's nice to meet you."
When their hands connected Tristan felt the power coursing through her veins, and her strength level was through the roof. Just before Tristan could ask, Lancelot called that lunch was ready. He set up the meals on a long, royal dining table in the shape of a pentagon, each side having a seat assigned to each Grace. Tristan sat down and smelled the heavenly food, "This smells amazing! What is it?"
"Tiger eel curry, caught fresh from the pond a little south from here. It's a recipe my dad taught me."
Tristan took a small bite, after tasting it, he inhaled the entire meal in under 10 seconds. Lancelot laughed, "Dad also talked about how your dad may have been the worst cook in all of the realms combined. Must be great to get out of there."
"I found food in the dumpsters in the city more edible than his food."
Zenyth stared at Tristan, "Who's your father exactly?"
"My dad is Meliodas, why do you ask?"
Zenyth's eyes widened, "So that's why your magic felt so, strength-y"
"What do you mean I felt strength-y"
"I've heard only legends about Meliodas, but I know that his physical strength is so powerful he could hit someone across the country if he wished."
Tristan scoffed, why does every conversation I have with someone always lead to my father?
Lancelot decided to join the conversation, "You do realise most of us have to live in the shadows of our parents too right?"
Tristan looked shocked, "How did you-" then it clicked; his magical power, "I completely forgot about your magical power, it's referred to as heart reading. A power possessed by only members of the fairy race."
Gaia crossed her arms, "I didn't get the gene and my father is the most powerful fairy in existence."
Pema had been quietly eating her food until Gaia stepped in, so she decided she would too. "The only reason we don't have some genes from our respected races is because we are all hybrid species."
"That's true. I'm a demon crossed with a goddess, I don't know how the hell that happened but it did."
"I stopped thinking about how my giant mother conceived me with a fairy as my father a long, long, loonnnggg time ago."
Everyone sat in silence and finished their food, Tristan had been tapping on the table for what felt loke hours. "So what's our first big mission as the Five Graces of God?"
"Isn't it obvious? Have you not heard anything?"
"No... What happened?"
"You've been living under a 100 ton rock in that castle. Our first big mission is to end the war between the Giant and Fairy race."
