Race: we have got to do something about this
Crutchie: some context would be nice race
Race: Jack and Davey
Crutchie: ok yea, but what can we do?
Race: try and talk some sense into them
Crutchie: ive tried with both of them and neither will listen
Race: the problem is they don't believe the other likes them
Race: but they both have crushes on each other
Crutchie: i know
Race: I was thinking we could both try to convince each of them

Race: davey likes you too, just ask him out
Jack: thats not gonna happen
Race: why not? Because he doesnt like you back?
Jack: exactly, actually
Race: he likes you though!
Jack: look i know you guys are trying to help and i appreciate that
Jack: but my past relationships have all ended badly
Jack: i dont want that to happen with davey and risk our friendship by asking him out
Race: thats fair, im sorry i pushed this on you
Jack: its ok, i know your intentions are there.

Davey: Guys
Race: hi davey
Davey: What is this?
Race: u know jack likes you too
Davey: Yea, sure he does
Crutchie: i didnt think it was possible to feel sarcasm through text
Davey: It's true, why would he like me?
Race: pls tell me ur joking
Race: for someone whos a genius you can be really stupid sometimes
Race: he took you on a date to see the greatest showman
Davey: that wasn't a date!
Race: maybe not, but that proves that he really enjoys spending time with you
Davey: I mean so do I, he's a good friend
Crutchie: Davey, do you like him or not?
Davey: I do
Crutchie: then you should go for it! You only have a small amount of time left before you both leave for college
Race: i know what your worried about, and jack and katherine broke up and theyre still great friends
Davey: You're right
Race: wait really?
Davey: It's now or never right? We only have five months left, and you're right, I do really like him.
Race: omg i cant believe it worked
Crutchie: wow
Race: im so happy
Race: and shocked
Davey: I don't like admitting it, but I do like him. I think I have for a while, but I didn't realize until this year.
Race: y wouldn't you want to admit that?
Davey: This doesn't just feel like a crush… It's hard to explain
Crutchie: I think i get what you mean
Davey: I'm usually good with words, but I can't explain this
Race: thats how you know you should just go for it.
Race: follow your instincts this time
Davey: What if he says no?
Crutchie: thats a big if, but nothing would change. Once again, u can see how he is with Katherine
Davey: Ok… I guess I'm really doing this
