Hey, ya'll! Just a quick question, would you kill me if I told you that there is a thousand-word chapter out there that I meant to put in the story but forgot to? Because there is. And it's in my quotev story, but not here. It has no real significance to the plot, it's just some Percy, Frank, Leo, and Jason friendship moments. But do you guys want to see it? It was meant to be a mirror of the chapter where the girls where unpacking their trunks and stuff but for the guys. Just filler. Anyways, tell me in the reviews and read on!

Percy

He could not believe he had worked up the courage to ask Annabeth to dance. Now, dancing wasn't his forte. But he liked to do it and wanted to ask someone. And he really only knew Annabeth. Piper was occupied, Hazel had a boyfriend, and Calypso was dancing with Leo.

So he asked Annabeth but he didn't think she'd say yes. And now he was really, really happy. He didn't get why, but dancing with Annabeth just felt, right. Like they were meant to dance that night to that song at that time. But that was silly. Things like fate and destiny didn't exist. But if they did, that dance might have been it. (My heart! My Percabeth heart! Can't take it!)

Sunday came and went. Hazel went to church and the rest of them just played in the pool and discussed the new school year which was rapidly approaching. Monday was the first day of school and Percy was freaking out about it because school sucked.

The alarm clock woke everyone up the next morning. Leo threw his pillow at the alarm clock and Percy groaned and just started going back to sleep. But Jason and Frank roused them both up.

"I hate you I hate you I hate you," Percy complained when Jason shook him awake.

"Leave me alone!" Leo yelled when Frank pulled his blanket off of Leo's bed.

"Haha, get up," Frank said.

Percy pulled himself out of his bed and started rummaging through his drawers for some jeans and a t-shirt. He didn't really care what he wore. So he just grabbed a Led Zepplin t-shirt out of his drawer and walked into the bathroom to take a quick shower, put on deodorant, wash his face, and put on his clothes.

"Just a heads up," Jason said. "Everyone wakes up at seven here and you have until eight-thirty to get dressed and eat breakfast."

"Got it," Percy said. "They'll hand schedules out later?"

"At breakfast," Jason said. "But since our grades aren't as big as a real school, still pretty big, mind you, most grades are just split into two different classes with the same schedule. Chiron knows what he's doing. He always manages to make most everyone happy with the schedules."

"Wow, sounds great," Percy said. It was true. He liked it when teachers took a real interest in the kids their taking care of.

He walked into the bathroom and got into the shower. Percy didn't like it super hot or cold. Just lukewarm. The water was nice though. Just right. He stayed inhere for only five minutes because he didn't want to take to much time up. He went to the sink and washed his face and put some deodorant on.

Once he was done, he changed into his jeans and Led Zepplin shirt. Percy walked out of the bathroom and sat down on Jason's bed. Leo walked into the bathroom. When Percy looked around, he noticed that Frank had made his like a military barracks' and Jason made his bed perfect normally.

"Why are you making your bed like that?" Percy asked.

"Dad's in the army and so was mom," Frank said. "Guess it's just a habit that they instilled in me."

Percy noticed that he said "was." He liked to think she was just honorably discharged, but he knew better. This school was chock-full of tragedy so he wouldn't be surprised if his mom was dead.

Jason went into the closet to change because he had showered yesterday and Frank waited for Leo to be done in the shower. Percy pulled his skateboard out from under the bed and rolled it in between his feet. He did miss his neighborhood and the skate park, but he liked it here well enough.

"You skateboard?" Frank asked.

"Yep," Percy said. "I like to think I'm pretty good."

"I'm sure you are," Frank said. "Sounds really dangerous but fun."

"That's about me in a nutshell," Percy said. "Dangerous but fun."

Frank laughed and Percy smiled. Frank was cool. The sort of responsible friend that his mom always wanted him to have along with Jason. Leo was more like himself and also needed someone responsible around him. So Percy guessed that Frank and Jason were almost like babysitters? No. Wardens maybe? Whatever the word was, Percy was actually kind of happy that Jason and Frank were the responsible ones. It took the pressure off of him.

Leo came out of the shower and Frank went to take his turn. Percy put his skateboard back under Jason's bed and climbed to the top bunk. He put his hands under his head. Jason, Leo, and Percy all waited for Frank to finish his shower so they could all go down to breakfast.

"Breakfast is always really good," Jason said. "I think you guys will like it."

"Pancakes?" Percy asked. He loved pancakes. Especially blue ones.

"And waffles and french toast," Jason said.

"Whoo!" Leo yelled. "I love french toast!"

"I personally like the omelets best," Jason said.

"You are a freak of nature," Percy insisted. "How can you like omelets best?"

Frank came out of the shower. "Because omelets are the best!"

"You're both terrible and we hate you," Leo said.

"How could you!" Percy said, pretending to be hurt.

Jason laughed. "Come on you crazy kids, let's go eat breakfast."

They all started walking downstairs and met up with Piper. Hazel, Annabeth, and Calypso had gotten up early and Piper insisted they go on without her. Percy walked down the stairs and thought of his mom's blue pancakes.
