Chapter 208 - When time just stops.
Linnen's POV, Pakistan.
"Respects? He wants to honor me? Did you hear that sir?" I was on the phone with Hecan and he was outright stunned by the footage Voltz managed to get out in the open. Even myself was impressed. I had no clue that man was still living. Figured he would have been killed during the takeover by some of his own men, but I guess I was wrong.
"It's quite shocking to be honest Drake. Up till now we've been hearing the rumors and we've seen how they have taken control of the other two major cities. Never would I have thought we'd be in the middle of another dictatorship. Voltz did his duty bringing this interview to light the way he did."
"He's risking a lot. Mainly himself sir. If the rebellion can track down where that was done I wouldn't be surprised if Archer sends a few of his best to go kill him."
"Your right and that's why we need to act before that can happen."
"Sir?" I questioned as he calmly replied.
"Voltz is the living embodiment of the rebellion and he quite honestly is the leader of the future this part of the world needs. We need to act and find him first. Reach out to him and see if he is willing to come to Pakistan and bunker down with you till we can come up with a plan of action to handle Archer and the rest of his rebellion."
Widening my eyes I questioned in a loss for words.
"You want him to come down here? With me? Sir I'm not on good terms with the man. I even had him held prisoner here. Up till Captain Rose went AWOL and broke him free. Trust me but that man isn't going to want to be near me."
"And he's killed some of your men and I'm sure you're not happy with him either, but the truth of the matter is Commander; Voltz is the best shot this country has in the form of leadership. You need to put differences aside and find a way to work together. If you can manage to make contact with him I will personally come down and aid in whatever way possible to see that G.U.N and him can get along. You heard him yourself. He's calling out to us and after airing that footage there is no stopping the states from wanting to aid in this situation. Everyone went from wanting to bomb the country to wanting to help Raptor. So put everything on hold and find a way to make contact."
"Sir?" I said again as he quickly ordered.
"I don't want to hear it. This is bigger than you and your emotions towards him. Help him and have an update for me by the end of the week. Am I clear Commander?"
"Yes sir." I replied as he hung up the line. Putting the phone down I sighed into my hands and mumbled.
"Shit!"
Up till now I was thinking Raptor was dead or gone after that speech. I can't fault him for seeing his mistakes and wanting to help now, but the issue was how this was going to now work. I can't tell Hecan I had his family killed. I can't because it will ruin me. Voltz however knows I did it and having him here is a quick way to having me stabbed in the back. There isn't a man alive who is strong enough to just forgive something like this. But I had no choice. I couldn't say much but neither could Raptor. Even if he brought it up the investigation is over and there is no proof I was involved. Gorgon and his men being long gone made sure of that much. It would be a stalemate. We'd have to shut our mouths and work together, but I'm man enough to give it a try. Now the only question I had left on my mind was this.
How the fuck do I get into contact with him from here?
Raptor's POV.
"Ahhhh! Ahhhh! Ahhh!" I was breathing pretty hard and to be honest this was the most I ever put into sex then ever in my whole life. Zeta was resting on the far end of the couch as I finished with her sister for the second time. This time however we were embraced and I'm pretty sure she was just as worn out if not almost passed out. She asked for it and I warned her, but that didn't stop this from happening.
The wolf was leaning over my shoulder as she had me mounted on the couch for the last twenty minutes or so. With her breathing shallow I whispered into her ear.
"Are you okay there pup?"
She was my bitch in this moment and she knew it. Zeta knew it from the first entry and with the girl basically hugging me, she replied in an almost mute voice.
"Mhmmm."
Running my hands down to her butt, I gave her soft cheeks once more good stretch and squeeze before urging her.
"Come on then."
Pepper wasn't able to move her body; she was so bent out of shape. With Zeta just nothing but smiles she watched as I gently stood up from the couch lifting her in the air. The wolf wasn't reacting to the movement at all. Her eyes were shut and with that in mind I leaned down over the couch and carefully laid her out on her back. Her head rested on Zeta's leg as I pulled myself free from both her grip and her pussy. The sight was nothing but amazing as I smiled at my girlfriend who gave me a wink and watched as I got back on my pants. Once my belt was back around them as well did I hear from Zeta who was now petting her sister softly with her backhand.
"I think you broke her."
I let out a laugh that was more like a huff and replied shortly after.
"I think she broke me. Pardon the mess."
I was good for my word and as nasty as it sounds both of them were covered in it. Again however with the remarks Zeta replied.
"Nothing a good shower won't fix. She might need some time though."
Finding my shirt I quickly got it on and began to look around for my phone which I swore I heard vibrating. Looking under Zeta's shirt which was on the floor, I found it there waiting for me with a call waiting from Hecan. Quickly tossing Zeta her shirt and answering the phone at the same time, I let out a quick cough to clear my throat then said.
"Voltz here."
With Zeta unsure of what to do now that the fun was over, I watched from one of the tables to wait as Hecan soon said with a happy voice.
"Raptor you did a good job. That interview you took was more than enough to convince my people to lay off the bombs."
"They gonna help?" I then wondered as he laughed and replied.
"Like notes on a page. I'm working on getting a fresh load of troops ready to head to Pakistan to assist Drake and the men already there. It'll be a few days before I get clearance but it will happen."
"And what about Iraq and Afghanistan?"
"Well that depends. I heard from Pierce you plan to stay over there for a while. Which in all honesty makes things a little bit hard. I planned for you to come to Pakistan." Stated Hecan as I quickly replied.
"If you talked to Pierce then I assume he told you my reasoning for it. I need to be the one to fix things. I understand you want me to live but I can do this without Linnen. I just need time."
"I don't doubt that for a second Raptor but look at this from my point of view for a second. My people are going to need a reason for all this to happen. That reason is you. I need proof that you and Drake agree to fight Archer. Having you over there alone will make things hard when it comes to public approval." Hecan stated as I nodded to myself and watched as Pepper turned over on her sister's leg to try and sleep. Zeta continued to pet her as I calmly replied to Hecan.
"You're worried about what exactly? You're worried my people will still be against you? Regardless of where I am during this war Hecan I will be one hundred percent on your side. My people and my country will know that. You won't have to worry about that. The only people who will stand in our way will be Ying and the rest of the rebellion who stands by Archer. I have a plan to get this city riled up. The rebellion won't stop me. No one will. And like I told Pierce I can handle Iraq without compromising what we have. You have my word. You just need to trust me."
"I trust you Raptor but again I need to have you give something to my people. Maybe another speech with Linnen at your side. Just something I can air in my country that provides a good public image of what we want them to think. Work with me and once I have this you are more than welcome to handle your business." He replied as I shook my head to state back.
"I'm not going to Pakistan and that's final. I told you before I have a plan. I can provide you with what you want but it will have to be on my terms. The way things are going I can get myself on the news without a problem. I can even have Pierce relay it to you. You're free to edit any speeches I decide to give to make it look any way you want to your people in the states. But I need to convince my people first."
Hecan went silent to think. From there I waited as Zeta stood up finally from the couch to look around for her underwear. I watched closely as she bent over with her tail swinging to put back on her thong. She caught me watching and came right over to kiss me. I kissed back as Hecan soon replied.
"Okay how about this? You do whatever you plan to do over there but make damn sure I get at least another good interview or a public speech. I need something to air over here no matter what happens. Your image to the states needs to be a solid one to have any creditably after the war is over. So I'll let you do whatever you want but here is the catch. Once you're done in Iraq and it's time to move on to Archer; you come to Pakistan and help me form a plan. I will be there in person by then to see to the end of the war, but I need you alive and willing to work side by side with G.U.N."
"That's all I plan to do by then sir. But know this. I've never been good at doing things by the book."
He could have gone silent as I hung up the phone. I didn't know how he felt about that last statement and I honestly didn't care. I got what I wanted and that was the ability to work here first in Iraq without him breathing down my neck. My plan was simple for dealing with the rebellion here and I don't think anyone was ready to hear about it just yet. I needed to do one more thing before committing. Well…..two things. One of which I wanted to do tonight after talking with Pierce about Gorgon. I debated if I should bring Zeta or not for it. With the wolf in question fully dressed she waited back by the couch to urge me.
"You should get a shower first. It'll give us time to catch our breath. Her more than me but you know what I mean."
I smiled and nodded my head as we both looked back to Pepper who was sound asleep now. With a chuckle leaving my lips I listened as Zeta asked.
"So who was better?"
Keeping my voice down I replied.
"How can I choose when both options are so perfect together?"
Zeta sensed my sass and quickly whispered.
"Fuck off you stupid…...handsome asshole you."
I gave her one more kiss and replied.
"Love you too."
"Mhmm." She replied as I went for the stairs. As I walked back up I soon reached the top to hear some noise coming from just beyond the door. As I stepped out from the basement both Blitz and Cody were sitting at the living room couch staring at me with smiles. I knew why and quickly tried to walk to the stairs just feet beyond. Before I could reach the top Blitz asked.
"You okay boss?"
I nodded my head and went up the first few steps before hearing from Cody.
"I want details."
I chuckled and ignored him from there and soon found myself back upstairs and near my room. I took a few minutes to stop and collect some fresh clothes and look myself over in the mirror. I was a wreck all the same. Even if they didn't know it wasn't like I was hiding it well at all. My quills were everywhere and to be honest I smelled like two female wolves. I'm sure that the fox downstairs could smell it a mile away.
With some time passing as I went across the hallway and into the master bathroom, I questioned my thoughts for tonight. Gorgon was not my concern. It was a much more touchy idea I had but I think deep down Alicia would want me to do it. Even if things have changed and she is no longer around.
Looking to my phone as I got the shower warmed up, I asked myself if I should call ahead first. But I think no matter what it wouldn't prevent this from happening next. It was just a matter of getting myself to make the move. It's been so long I hope he remembers me.
