Unfortunately right now i'm looking at the Ice Queens. I do always enjoy a good bit of Temari and I'm between choosing Yugito or Samui or keeping it small.

I'm not really into involving characters who are external to the canon Manga/Anime, that does not mean they won't be involved!

Hopefully that answers some questions, I am currently about to finish my HSC and won't have time to write and answer questions, but please have faith. I am a massive Naruto fan, this is intriguing to be on this side of the story.

I didn't say it last Chapter but I DO NOT own NARUTO, NARUTO SHIPPUDEN

Chapter 2: We're going to do this my way!

One year, one extraordinarily long and not to mention painful year. Anko had really put young Naruto through the ringer because "I'm no gonna let you bring me down because your weak, don't want to make look bad now do we"

After that Naruto had thrown himself head first into his training, his focus on chakra control exercises while not the most interesting part was still great, Anko had told him that due to his ridiculously large reserves he would need this to not overload basic jutsu, the prime example for that was his clear inability to produce clones.

Anko had picked up on this fact close to three months into the training. So, her first point of call after discovering this, she took her newly promoted position of Tokubetsu Jonin (Special Jonin) and approached the old man.

~ Flashback (Nine Months Ago) ~

Naruto and Anko had been keeping their training tightly under-raps, after-all it wouldn't look good for one of the 'Ice Queens' a group made up by Anko and her friends, Kurenai Yuhi, Hana Inuzuka and Yugao Uzuki although she had be warming up to an up and coming sword master by the name of Hayate Gekko, this decision led poor Yugao enduring some teasing for so called 'melting'.

No, I would not look good for 'The Snake Mistress' to show a soft side, in fact to Anko's knowledge the only person who knew was Kurenai, she knew her friend was training someone but Anko had refused to say who, and that was because they shared an apartment and suddenly, she would start getting home three hours later.

With these things and more going through Anko's head she approached the Hokage building. She was nervous as she would have to inform Sarutobi of her training of the young boy and was afraid of the reprimanding she would receive for neglecting her duties as an on-call kunoichi.

In all honesty she rather enjoyed her training of the young boy. He would take the beatings which she referred to as sparring, run up and down trees until he passed out and wouldn't complain when they did the speed and agility practice which was being chased by her and snake summons.

Anko, surprisingly shared a trait with a separate Sanin where she would arrive to the Hokage's office through the window.

Leaping through the window she caught Hiruzen by surprise as he was currently nose deep in his book, which ticked her of as this book was written by the very same Sanin who entered through the window, Jiraiya: The Gama-sennin. Normally a book written by someone of that stature would draw respect but this, this book was pure smut, pages on pages of pornographic novels.

'Icha Icha: Innocence'

This book ignited the ire of all females who set the eyes upon it, Anko was no exception. While she did parade about in a distinct lack of concealing clothing, she did not appreciate the pursuit of a female for their body or their time in bed.

So, to respond to seeing that little red book she in an all too sweet and sickling voice began the conversation "If you don't put that book away Hokage-sama than I will be forced to burn your entire stash as well as remove what makes you male and force feed it to you" this immediately drew the man's attention as he threw the book in the draw and looked over to Anko without hiding his white, pale face, evidence that the blood that was beforehand leaking from his nose had retreated from his face.

Quickly regaining his composure, he leant over the desk laying his chin on the back of his crossed fingers. "What can I do for you Anko?" the victorious grin that was plastered all over Anko's face had disappeared, now there was a nervous female with a forced smile scratching the back of her head.

"Ahh… well you see Hokage-sama-" Hiruzen noted the respectful name and suffix as the were rarely present in their conversation"-I might of…. Um…. Started training someone and….. um…. I was looking for your permission to…. Um…. Teachthemtheshadowclonejutsuplease?" whilst she had rushed quickly through the final part of the request it was received loud and clear by the old Sarutobi.

The old Hokage was inwardly smirking, the crystal ball had allowed him to keep tabs on the kunoichi in front on him and her all but official apprentice.

He played along, for his own entertainment. "Who would this person be Mitarashi-san" Anko immediately started sweating bullets from the serious tone and name. "Ahhh…. Well you might have heard of him…. It's um…. Funny you say that because his name is- "

"-Naruto Uzumaki-"

"Correct, and I... was… won... der…. Ing, huh?" Initially she didn't even compute the fact that he knew of the training, but as she continued speaking her eyes widened and she promptly closed her mouth with a distinct snap.

"I am well aware of the training you and Naruto have been performing, in fact I was waiting for you to approach and tell me you were training him. Although some of the training you have been taking part in has been quite physical" Anko had never been more terrified in her life the cold tone her leader spoke with sent shivers down her spine. After a few moments of giving the lady a pressuring and calculative gaze the old Sarutobi relented and let out a long sigh.

"Despite this, I will allow you to train Naruto but know this. If you hurt my grandson, physically or mentally beyond reasonable amounts, I will know, and you will be handing in you hitai-ite and ninja registration. Do. I. Make. Myself. Clear?" the threat whilst not in the threatening leaders tone as before, but was as a protective family member, the message reached the snake mistress just as well.

In response to the statement all Hiruzen received was a fervent nod.

"Now, you said something about shadow clones?"

After a few more minutes of interaction Anko was permitted to teach Naruto the shadow clone jutsu, he was beyond thrilled, well, at first he was confused to him this was just another clone jutsu but after some explanations of the transfer of memories and their abilities in training and real-life situations no one would have been able to recognise him, he spent the next day practicing the technique until he dropped.

~ End Flashback ~

Ever since he learnt the shadow clone jutsu and was told the Hokage knew of his training he felt like a massive pressure had been taken off of his shoulders. When Naruto was next approached by the old man, safe to say he was extremely nervous as he had been found to be hiding secrets from his grandfather figure.

While the Hokage had been disappointed he had relented and was happy that he respected new sensei and kept his word in not telling anyone of the extra training.

Unfortunately, Anko had a very similar outlook on the academy and is work. This meant that his studies took a real nose-dive, there was now no question that Naruto was the 'dead-last' of his class. On the other hand, even though he was still too tired during class time he was no longer so easy to beat in a spar. It was recommended by his sensei to hold back with all physical applications, as she explained, a ninja has their two strongest weapons: the mind and deception.

Naruto seemed to accept this, but he had to agree with what Anko had told him, also he couldn't wait until he wiped the smug look off of 'Sasuke-teme's' face when he stopped holding himself back. In reality, Anko was just being protective over her pseudo-student. She remembered returning from her training trip with Orochimaru and she was significantly more skilled, this immediately put everyone on the backfoot when around her, as while it is stupid, her increase in skill threatened everyone around her. She did not want that to happen to Naruto, he was, precious to her.

Even though the written knowledge in the academy had been suffering, his knowledge in seals had been increasing at a steady rate. With all the time he spent in the library and the chakra control exercise he'd performed in training with Anko, he was now able to seal and unseal objects with ease, his calligraphy had improved monumentally, he could write basic seals in seconds with little to no mistakes.

Our favourite blond had two massive leaps in his study into sealing, the first was he discovery of the amount he could seal, due to the size of his chakra reserves the amount he could seal into a basic scroll was incredible, he managed to seal a centipede the size of an olympic swimming pool. Oh, how he and Anko had got a laugh at the old man's reaction when he unsealed on top of the Hokage building.

The other, he was keeping to himself, the seal he found fifteen months ago, he had identified it as a beacon seal, a location marker. Thought what he couldn't understand was why there was a chakra identifier and receptor. If your chakra signature was keyed into the seal it would respond and preform the designated task, if your chakra signature was similar, there would be a minor reaction and if there was no correlation nothing would happen.

So why did the seal glow when he put chakra into it.

After he made the discovery of similar chakra signatures, Naruto had spent all of his time attempting to recreate the seal with his own chakra seal instead. This turned out to be an incredible undertaking, the entire seal array pivoted off of the Chakra signature. Naruto just as always had dedicated his very being to complete this task. As soon as he learnt the shadow clone jutsu he had left a shadow clone every day to make that happen.

Over the course of the year he had perfected his academy taijutsu style, this was during the chakra control and evasive training for the first three months. Just like with everything else the shadow clone jutsu it allowed him to now practice significantly more areas of being a ninja. So, as soon as this happened Anko had begun teaching him the basics of the 'hebi style' taijutsu as it matched his natural speed and flexibility as well as his own taijutsu style to work with his ability to mass produce shadow clones, this was known as the 'Hebi Bunshin Taiatari' also known as the 'Snake Clone Body Blow'.

This style was it's most effective when Naruto learnt how to create shadow clones without hand seals as well as determining where they would appear.

The time they spent working on this he had learnt through the chakra paper given to him that he had a wind affinity. Anko had said that she wouldn't train him in chakra nature jutsu as she not only was fire natured but didn't want to spread Naruto too thin. He had asked about basic training and jutsu. Anko had no wind style jutsu in her arsenal but she was privy wind chakra nature training and informed him on the leaf cutting and waterfall cutting exercises.

Naruto's time in the academy had strengthened his relationships with his classmates. Shikamaru Nara, heir to the Nara Clan, son of Shikaku and Yoshino. He and Naruto spent class time very similarly, both passed out on the back row, heads on the desks, this had led them to being taken out of class regularly, in which they would sleep more. Naruto enjoys Shikamaru presence as he would never pressure anyone into anything and would regularly diffuse strenuous moments.

Choji Akimichi, heir of the Akimichi Clan, son of Choza and Chiharu as the young 'big-boned' boy would often spend most of his time he and Naruto also became quite close, he was always eating a pack of potato chips. Choji often included himself in the less serious prank, mainly within the classroom. The three of them would spend time after class around the village.

Shino Aburame, heir of the Aburame Clan, son of Shibi and Kiho. Shino spoke very rarely and when he did, he often confused many other students, his mannerisms were intriguing as well, everything he did came down to logic. While the two were viewed as polar opposites they got along very well, it was quite often that they would look to the other for a point of view. Shino was an origin of rationality that was needed in Naruto's life.

Ino Yamanaka, heiress to the Yamanaka, daughter of Inoichi and Noriko. She was a boisterous and outgoing girl, known as 'the gossip queen' and quite blunt and demanding, this was not helped by her dad's treatment of her a princess. She had become an acquaintance of Naruto through proximity, as the Yamanakas, Naras and Akimichis were well connected clans, the three clans in battle were known as the 'Ino-Shika-Cho trio', their clan techniques and teamwork gained them quite a status throughout the ninja world.

Kiba Inuzuka, heir to the Inuzuka Clan, son of Tsume, although he was the younger brother of Hana Inuzuka, it was tradition for a male to take up the role of Clan head, this was in contrast to the fact that their mother was the current clan head. Naruto and Kiba weren't as close as Naruto was with the other but they were amicable, Kiba, similarly to Choji would join in on the minor pranks. There was mutual teasing of 'dead-last' and 'mutt' or 'dog-breath', occasionally it would get heated but most of the time it remained jovial.

There were others in the class, Sakura Haruno, they didn't talk much, Naruto had initially had a minor-crush on the girl as he found her bubble-gum pink hair exotic, Hinata Hyuga, currently in contention for the role of the heiress position in the Hyuga clan with her younger sister, she was very meek, lacked confidence, she was particularly nervous when he was involved and it was not something that he missed, this confused him greatly. Finally, the last person in his class that he took notice of, 'Sasuke-teme', Naruto and he had reached an understanding, they respected each other's privacy and minded their own business. Unknown to Naruto, Sasuke was happy that someone knew where boundaries lie.

On the topic of his relationships with friends, there was a get-together with the high priority members of the previously mentioned clans. Naruto had not only been invited by the Naras, but the Aburame and the Inuzuka, this confused Naruto greatly, but was put aside as the clan heads talked about the impressions he made on the heirs, but also joked about if he was to be a Hokage, he would need to know politics.

~ Flashback (Two months ago – Akimichi Compound) ~

Shikamaru and Shino weren't convinced at their parent's reasoning, it seemed as if they were teetering around a larger topic. Whilst Naruto was undeniably wiser and more perceptive, he blindly accepted the fact and brushed it off to be a respectful guest.

A little time after the pleasantries had been exchanged the parents had convened the more business centred talks leaving the children to converse.

"Something's up" Shikamaru queried.

"I concur with your assessment, what reason would they have to bring an orphan who is not involved in any clan business to an outing such as this" the stoic Aburame replied.

"I don't know, and unknowns are really troublesome" Shikamaru whilst lazy, was a form of control freak, he was happiest when all the pieces were on the board. "The way Naruto has been acting leads me to think that he is unsure of the reason too"

"It makes sense that he wouldn't no the reason, why? Because if an eight-old-child was privy to such information he might be able to keep such important secrets, compromising village safety"

"Maybe it's not Naruto"

"What are you suggesting?" Shino found himself intrigued by the possibilities Shikamaru was suggesting.

"Talking to Naruto, his parents are an unknown right?"

"That is correct"

"I'm interested as to why the Hokage who makes it a priority to know everyone in the village would simply not know of Naruto's heritage, and then take a clear interest in him" Shino found himself agreeing with Shikamaru's proposed hypotheticals.

"We too should keep this from Naruto, while he is no longer as immature, this might be a matter of importance and I don't believe an excited child keeps things to themselves"

"Agreed"

Luckily just as they finished their conversation Naruto, Choji and Kiba came over after stuffing themselves with the available snacks. Neither the Aburame nor the Nara brought up their previous conversation. It wasn't until later that Naruto found himself intrigued. Kiba's older sister had just arrived to the get together. Hana strolled into the compound trailed by her three ninja hounds; they were known as the 'Three Haimaru Brothers'. She did not have the normal Inuzuka traits outside of the red, triangular cheek tattoos, she did not have the slitted pupils or the wild hair. She very much had the girl next door beauty, subtle but clear, Naruto felt a warmth rise to his cheeks, one that he only had around his sensei.

"Hey Kiba, do you know who that is?"

"That-" extending his finger in the direction of Hana "-is my sister, Hana"

"How much older is she than you?" Kiba was suddenly put on the defensive by the sudden talking of his sister. "Why, what's it you?"

Shrugging it off he turned to Kiba "Huh, oh nothing just curious"

I was at this point that Hana had noticed their conversation and that they were both focused on her, immediately she decided to intervene.

"Hello, what are you two talking about?" while Kiba didn't fully understand the situation, Naruto was struggling to meet Hana's eyes, said girl raised an eyebrow at this, but Kiba, being his ignorant self, passed it off as shyness.

"Naruto here, was wondering who you were" Kiba retorted.

"Oh, and why is that?" she was intrigued by her brothers friend and she found teasing children rather amusing. "I…. Ummm…. Ahhh…. Well you see, I could tell you were from the same clan…. And well I was wondering why you were here, Kiba mentioned he had a sister but said she looked like the back of the kennels, and you definitely aren't ugly so…" Naruto let the statement trail off. 'Why did I say so much?'.

Hana too was confused at what he was doing at the gathering as she had never seen him at them before, though as she began to listen to more of what he had to say her confusion turned to righteous anger at what her brother had said about her to her friends.

"What the hell man…" Both Naruto and Kiba felt the temperature surrounding them drop significantly, both turning a shivering head. Both set their gaze a upon Hana who was adorning a sickly-sweet smile and responded in a similar tone. "You're such a charmer, now, what was that you said about me Kiba?"

There were two reactions to this, one was that of pure fear and regret, the other was that of a deeper blush and a glowing smile.

The next few minutes were filled with the girlish screams of one Inuzuka heir.

Naruto found himself avoiding Hana for the rest of the talks, once again this did not go unnoticed by her or one Yamanaka heir. This would definitely come back to bite our favourite blond.

~ End Flashback ~

Naruto had been thinking about the past year, he couldn't be happier. While he found the training stressful and sometimes unnecessary, he knew he was improving and that was all he needed. It didn't hurt that he really enjoyed spending time with his sensei, he and Anko had spent a lot of time together, after every training they would alternate between the dango shop and Ichiraku's. Pretty quickly they had to explain to both the owners of Ichiraku's and the dango shop as neither wanted it to come across as Anko robbing the cradle, Naruto had always been lightning quick to deny anything that alluded to it being a date. Naruto was unsure of the intricacies of their relationship; all he knew was that Anko was precious to him.

Strangely enough when they had to explain the reasons of their meetings the speed of the answer brought a frown to the others face.

He was currently on his way to meet Anko after another sleepy day at the academy, Anko had said there was a surprise that she had organised.

Meanwhile Anko was struggling to stay in the same spot for more than a second, the reason, she had organised with the Hokage for her friend Yugao Uzuki, fellow Ice Queen, to teach her pseudo-apprentice her specialty, Kenjutsu. Yugao was currently, alongside her boyfriend the foremost sword-user in the Hidden Leaf.

Hiruzen Sarutobi was originally against the idea of increasing Naruto's training as he tried to advocate for him to have a suitable childhood. This was countered by the fact that he was not ignoring his time with friends outside of the Academy. Naruto was not involved in this conversation as the old man was more than aware that Naruto would just vie for more training.

Anko had begun picking Naruto up from the Academy, this was whenever her friend Kurenai wasn't escorting the Hyuga heiress. This had invoked the jealousy of Kiba as he expressed his interest in the female body. The statements he proceeded to emit quickly earned him righteous punishment from the majority of the females in the academy, the beating he received told him two things, one keep his perversive nature hidden in front of the other gender and two, Anko was off limits, that was clearly expressed by a short blond girl he had never seen before.

Naruto had just strolled through entrance seventeen of the Forest of Death, he was a scarred when Anko expressed her enthusiasm, that normally led to him being chased by her new personal summon.

The confusion on Naruto's face was evident when the clearing they met up in was empty, he also that it was too calm. This area of the forest was Anko's favourite as it attracted the majority of the animals that inhabited it. Surprise test had lost their touch as Anko would regularly pop up un-announcement and start hurling kunai at him.

Preparing for another 'test' he created a shadow clone into the clearing and remained in his position, he was nestled in a branch about two-hundred feet away.

~ With the clone in the clearing ~

"Hellooo… Hellllooooo… Anko-sensei!" After calling out for his sensei a few more time he thought he might just head over to the nearby shade and wait on his sensei. What he was no expecting was for when approached the shade was for a masked person to leap out an immediately start trying to chop him down.

Naruto quickly identified this person as an ANBU ninja by the mask and clothing, he had had his fair share of run ins with the ANBU as they were often the ones assigned to bring him to the Hokage after one of his pranks. This particular ANBU he had seen before, Neko, he quickly identified her by her intensely purple hair.

The young blond quickly drew a kunai to match the assailant in the weapons-based combat, while he was definitely not on par with his weapon, the fact that is was lighter than the sword, so he was able to keep up somewhat.

Naruto was aware that it was unlikely that he would be stronger than his opponent, with this in mind Naruto decided to stick to evasive manoeuvres.

He had never been attacked like this before so the Naruto clone was unsure as to whether he could be more confident in his attacks.

As the ANBU would swipe at his upper body and Naruto would use his height to his advantage as he would duck underneath the slashes and would use his flexibility in helping parry the jabs.

It wasn't very long into the fight that Naruto's confidence began to grow again, he started to see a pattern in the ANBU's attacks, she was clearly not aiming to hurt him, and her slices lacked what would be expected from that of an elite ninja.

Both came together as Naruto used his kunai to block the ANBU's downward slash. Before he knew it, the kunai had been flicked out of his hand and the sword rested against the side of his neck. Naruto was frozen in his tracks until the ANBU ninja finally spoke.

"That's enough of tha-" before she could finish, she felt the cold steel of a kunai pressed up against her throat. Naruto was speechless when the ninja lent forward into the kunai to only burst into a cloud of smoke.

The young blond turned to the nearby tree line where he had heard rustling to see two figures waltz out from the shrubbery. The one on the left lazily leant her side to the side and began talking. "I told you he was good" These two figures were that of sixteen and eighteen-year-old females.

"You were indeed correct, the idea of sending a clone to sneak up on me"

"That's where you're wrong" the clone Naruto interjected "Oh, do tell"

"I didn't send a clone to sneak up on you" the clone Naruto started "You were fighting a clone the entire time" the real Naruto finished. The facepalm of the ANBU member outlined her clear disappointment in herself as she figured it out. "That's why you focused on evasive manoeuvres, Ughh… tricked by a child" she mumbled, the child comment did not go unheard as Naruto resisted the urge to yell at the masked lady.

Anko on the other hand was visibly proud of the way he handled himself and that this was something she could hold over her friend. She had to fight down the feeling to make sure she got the announcement out but before she could Naruto spoke up "Is this the surprise, I feel like you're not going to be content until you 'accidently' kill me" To this Anko puffed her cheeks out.

"Awww…. If you weren't enjoying it you should of told me- " she feigned a hurt expression and decided to toy with him "-We could always stop our training we ha- " she immediately tell she got the reaction she wanted out of the young blond as his eyes shot wide open and put his hands out in a placating manor.

"No no no no, please don't take this away from me, pleaseeee, I really enjoy training with you" Naruto immediately backtracked and gave her the best puppy eyes one could, while this would be effective for the majority of the female population, it was not what made Anko relent on her joke.

'He likes spending time with me! Score!' While this thought occurred it never passed as to why it was such a nice feeling. "That's good, I love tor- training you too" her sadistic tendencies often leaked through her rowdy nature, this creeped the other two out no end and the smile on her features was one that promised pain.

Before Anko could follow through on her threat, the Neko masked person stepped forward. "This was an official test of your skill gained over your time with Anko here, should you present an acceptable level of ability, I would train in my specialty, Kenjutsu"

Naruto was visibly nervous, he had always wanted to look into weapons, he had seen Sai used by a few of the Chunnin and Jonin, the Hokage's personal summon, Monkey King Enma's ability was to change into a large, flexible Bo staff, he had heard of those that even use scythes. In all honesty Naruto had completely looked over the use of a sword, now all he could think of cool he would be carrying around a sword hacking down enemies, yes it's probably not the right way to look at getting a new weapon but he was eight, what do you want from him?

"Whilst you did not defeat me whilst fighting at a Chunnin level, you should proficient decision making in making my attacks with a weapon of your own, that plus your ability in Taijutsu with your 'Hebi' style" The un-identified ANBU paused for dramatic affect and if the look of disappointment and pensiveness spread across the young boys face it was working.

"I will take you on and teach you Kenjutsu" Naruto's face lit up, apart from this he had learn to keep his reactions fairly internal, this was the case after the many cuts and bruises he would receive from Anko. The reaction was clear to the two women, both glowed, Anko for seeing how happy Naruto was that he'd be entering a new facet of being a ninja, when he smiled, she smiled. The other was happy there were people still interest in taking up the art of swordsmanship. Yugao was regularly assigned to watch Naruto and had come to really like the boy, this was one way as it was not permitted for her to make contact with him.

"This will be three times a week, two lessons a week we will go through the kata's, the other lesson will be dedicated to sparring and revision of the technique"

"Ahhh… Neko-sensei" this confused her as she had never tutored anyone before but quickly accepted it "What is it Naruto?"

"I don't have sword"

"That's fine, we will spend the first two months with a bokken as learning to fight with a sword can lead to you getting cut up"

"Oh, ok cool, when do we begin training?" the next moment Naruto had found himself catching a bokken hurtling at him courtesy of his new sensei.

"Now" she called as she lunged at him.

~ Six Months Later ~

Six months had past, Naruto had turned nine and was making the biggest leaps forward he had ever done.

Naruto had made excellent advancements in everything he was learning, his Kenjutsu had a slow first two months but his sensei had explained that was common as the bokken lends itself to very few people and most ending finding a sword type that fit them more precisely. In Naruto's case he found his proficiency with a black metal chokuto and equally as dark hilt, there was no guard but in multiple occasions he found the guard on the bokken to impede his attacks. The blade itself was made out of a metal that was chakra conductive. Anko recommended this as a friend of hers was also wind-natured and used that affinity to extend his range of attacks.

His work in sealing had made yet another leap, he properly identified the purpose of the seal he found. The seal array it had utilised space-time Ninjutsu to create pocket dimensions to cover a distance instantly, it contained many similarities with Summoning Jutsu. Naruto had never heard of a seal this intricate or powerful, he had also made two successful attempts to integrate his chakra signature into the seal, it was definitely a more crude attempt at the seal as it only allowed him to travel from one side of his apartment to the other.

His first attempt left him with minor motion sickness, but he was determined to use the seals enough to adjust to the rapid change in location and after a few weeks of repetitive movement he began to adjust.

His advancement and mastery of his style in Taijutsu whilst they maybe seen as the least important was heavily praised by both of his sensei and the Hokage.

Through the use of shadow clones, he was no able to cut through the leaf instantly and had learned how to cut the waterfall, an exercise that left both teacher and student as a blushing, stuttering mess as it reduced both of them to lacy underwear and boxer respectfully, after this first mishap both decided on swimwear to remove the chance of another awkward situation.

Naruto after initially ignoring the three academy jutsu: the replacement jutsu, the transformation jutsu and finally the clone jutsu, he talked to the old man and he had agreed that the shadow clone jutsu would be allowed in the Genin exams, to get the other two completed had commissioned twenty clones a day, at first it was to perform the jutsu successfully which in fact took him an afternoon for each, the next step was to perform them both without seals. The replacement jutsu took him another fortnight to complete, the transformation had been more of a handful, fairly quickly he noticed that his transformations where physical, he would properly turn into whatever he decided, his chakra pathways remained the same.

He had Mastered two wind style jutsu: wind-style: Great Breakthrough and wind-style: Air Bullets, he had done this with two supplementary as well. Those two were fire-style: Great Fireball Jutsu and earth-style: Mudwall. Anko had taught him the fire style jutsu as that was her affinity where the Hokage showed him the signs and gave tips for the earth-style jutsu. Hiruzen knew that Kakashi Hatake would take on Naruto for personal reasons and thought it would be amusing to see a fresh graduate use one of his most proficient techniques.

Naruto's interactions throughout his class had taken a serious hit, this was after Ino had blabbed to everyone she could about the interactions between the young blond and Kiba's older sister. That would not normally be a problem, but it was when the Yamanaka heiress provided her two cents on the matter that was when the trouble began.

Kiba played the protective brother and every time the conversation neared his sister or at the clan get togethers where they would be in the vicinity of each other he would usher Naruto in the opposite direction. This was to the ignorance of both parties.

When Shikamaru had finally confronted Naruto about his thoughts about Hana, Naruto had told him that he found her attractive and that she came across quite nicely in other meetings. It was around this time that Anko distanced herself from Naruto for a month's time, the younger of the pair thought that she probably had some issues and didn't want to push her into saying anything.

Luckily the period had ended although Anko didn't continue their normal banter for as long they used to. Excluding this Naruto couldn't be happier with where he was now, he was getting stronger, he had friends and two incredible teachers.

Life was Good.

Another Chapter done. I fixed some formatting hopefully it shows, there were a few things in here hopefully you picked up on them, they aren't vital to the story, but they definitely involve themselves later on.

Thanks again for reading!
