Love Struck Delusion
Chapter 211 - Like a plane turbine.
Zeta's POV.
I had Gorgon by the throat as he looked to the door at Blitz to question.
"Blitz!? What the fuck are you doing!?"
The wolf was caught off guard seeing his old team leader in this state and was unsure of what to say as Raptor replied for him.
"He's doing his job. Blitz has been a big help in making sure I was able to do this. In return he gets to go home once this is all said and done. Right Blitz?"
Blitz was slow to respond but slowly replied.
"Yes sir."
"You fucking traitor! You really think this man is going to get you back home!? He has no authority over G.U.N! You're being played!"
Looking at me, Raptor gave me that look. So using some force I began to choke Gorgon harder. Enough to get him to shut up as Blitz got next to Raptor who soon said with a tone I was unsure of.
"I have more authority than you think Gorgon. I have a lot actually. Enough to make something like this a reality."
I let Gorgon catch his breath as Raptor then said.
"I don't want to make this any harder than it has to be. No fancy speeches like you gave me. In fact I'm still debating if I give you any final words. I should not since you didn't give my wife or kids any."
Gorgon was crying but he didn't let it be heard. He was too much of a man to let us watch it happen. All he could keep doing was yelling as he replied to Raptor who remained where he was maybe a few feet out from where we were.
"You shot that kid and that was all your choice not giving her the chance to say anything! Not me! Your wife can go to hell and your son was nothing but a pussy!"
I wanted to tell Gorgon that was not the right set of words to say to Raptor. In fact it was probably the worst thing he could have said in a time like this, but to my surprise Raptor kept calm and smiled as Gorgon went on to shout.
"You deserved what you got when you killed Jagger and Ruby! They were my family! Blitz!? Do something! They were your friends too!"
Blitz calmly replied.
"Jagger was an asshole and Ruby was a bitch. I never liked them."
"They were still your teammates! Fuck Blitz just do something please!"
Raptor looked to Blitz as the wolf questioned his next move, but in the end he didn't say a word and we all refocused as Raptor reached behind his back to pull out his Glock. Gorgon widened his eyes as he then stepped a foot over to where Pepper and that kid were. I felt him then try to move again so I quickly got my choke on again and listened as he begged through gritted teeth.
"Raptor don't fucking touch him!"
Everyone was watching as Raptor was soon right next to the out cold hedgehog. I had no clue about any of this. No idea that this was a revenge mission. He said we were doing this to gather intel he needed on Ying, but in the end it was a lie. Raptor just wanted to make things even. Pierce was clearly unable to do anything either being under orders and I wasn't about to let Gorgon go. No matter what I wasn't going to do that. My concern was Blitz who I knew could snap at any moment if he decided to turn his back for the second time. But I think Juper knew that and kept his rifle up and ready just in case.
Raptor at this point got down on a knee to begin gently tapping the kid's cheek with the barrel to his gun. In moments his eyes began to flicker and once awake did he see what was going on. Gorgon shouted as fast as he could knowing the danger.
"Shadow don't let him touch you!"
You could see his eyes go right over to me as he looked at Gorgon who I found out just a moment ago was his father. Utterly confused he questioned.
"Dad? What the hell are you doing here? I thought you were in Germany?"
Gorgon was now crying for all of us to see as he replied with dispersion.
"That's not true! It's just what G.U.N wanted you to think! I've been here for the last month!"
Shadow was unable to answer as Raptor again tapped his face with the gun to get back his attention. Once eye to eye did he ask him.
"You know who I am?"
Shadow took a moment to think but replied carefully.
"Voltz?"
Raptor nodded with a small smile and replied.
"That's a good guess. You must be smart. Unlike your dad."
"Fuck you! Leave him out of this! You want me!"
With his eyes jolting back to Gorgon Shadow questioned.
"What are you talking about?"
Gorgon cried some more as Raptor just kept enjoying the show to reply.
"Your father is a nasty piece of work. He went out of his way to take something very dear to me. So now I figured I'd get back by doing the same thing to him. You know I never would have guessed you were related."
"What?" Shadow replied in confusion as Gorgon begged again.
"Don't Raptor please! He doesn't even know what's going on! Leave him be! Come over here you son of a bitch!"
With Raptor looking back to Gorgon now he replied while standing back up.
"No. You're going to stay right there and watch. Right?" He directed now to me as I nodded and prepared myself by pulling Gorgon back into a tighter hold. Gorgon was unable to fight me back as Raptor raised his Glock to Shadow's leg.
"Toof!"
It was immediate. The round went right into Shadow's right calf and he began to scream as Gorgon gave it his all to break free. It was useless in the end as Raptor looked over the injury to ask.
"How's that feel Gorgon? Can you almost feel the pain yourself?"
I had him held so tight he couldn't speak back so Raptor just raised back up the gun to fire off another round. This time it was further up his leg.
"Toof!"
Blood could be seen gathering under his leg as this time it took his thigh out on his left leg. Shadow was just screaming in pain as Pepper held him in place. We both could see his eyes going red as he tried to heal the wounds as best he could. Kid was a user just like his dad and it was sad to watch it happen. Raptor was in this place I never saw him before. He was ruthless and he was enjoying the torture as he urged Gorgon.
"Watch as I take him away from you. The only thing you have left."
"Stop!" Gorgon managed to beg as Raptor pulled the trigger.
"Toof!"
The round dug into Shadow's stomach and Pepper took that as her chance to let go seeing as he was now curling up on his front side and into a ball of bloody pain and tears.
Raptor gently switched his gun to his other hand as he knelt down one more time to get next to Shadow who at this point wasn't even in a position to look at him.
"I wanted to say this is all because of your dad over there kid but the truth is I know you got Wreak killed spying on us all that time ago for Linnen and his goons. So I'll consider this as vengeance for what you did to him."
Everyone watched as Raptor flipped his Glock into full auto and without a care to give him even a chance he emptied his clip into his back and rode the recoil up to the very back of his head. The fire rippled off and over ten rounds left the weapon in less then a second. Blood splashed the wooden floor with fine chunks of brain as I felt Gorgon go limp in my arms to the sight of what he just witnessed. With his pistol empty Raptor took a moment to stare at the now dead hedgehog. Pepper backed up a few feet as it happened and was now just looking to me as I questioned what just happened. Raptor wasn't normal. He was taking pleasure in what he just did and that was scary and I had no idea what to think when he came walking over to us.
Giving me a swift order he said.
"Let him go."
I obeyed without question and Gorgon who had his hands still bound took little to no time at all to reach his son's corpse. Once there he cried over the body and questioned what to say as Raptor could be seen reloading his Glock with a spare mag he pulled out from his belt. Once the receiver slid forward and back into place did he say to the broken father.
"Now you know what it's really like to lose family."
Gorgon wasn't moving. In fact his eyes weren't even blinking as he just stared at his son in a loss for all life to come. Raptor on the other hand calmly handed me his weapon. I took it in confusion from him as he then went for his knife which was holstered on the front of his vest. I knew what was coming and despite my orders not to speak I said his name in fear.
"Raptor don't….!?"
It was so fast and so evil. Raptor walked right over to him and without saying another word he shoved his blade right into the base of Gorgon's neck. The man was so broken by what just happened he didn't even make a sound as Raptor mounted him, consistinaly stabbing him in the throat and chest. I counted for a while. I lost track after the twentieth. All that could be heard was the sound of the knife entering and leaving the body. Gorgon died during the tenth but that didn't stop Raptor from going on as we all just watched. It only stopped once the knife itself wouldn't go through on it's own anymore. From there Raptor just remained where he was and let out a heavy sigh of relief as he took in what revenge must have felt like. For a minute he stayed there not moving an inch. His eyes were closed and with no one able to say a thing out of fear alone he stood back up to holster his knife. Blood from Gorgon covered his face and his whole chest and legs and once a foot back from the two bodies did he order some of Pierce's men.
"Go get the gear. Now."
His voice was completely changed now. With two of the men leaving the house Raptor then looked to Pierce. Pierce was clearly trying not to think about what just happened but he listened as he ordered.
"Go get Raze and Tusk and bring them back to my place. Once you're there just hang out for a little. I'll be by to talk to you once we finish up here."
"Yes sir." He replied as him and the others left. Now we were left with Blitz, Pepper, Juper, myself and the remaining rebellion soldiers who waited for their chance to leave this nightmare. By then Raptor came back over to me to reach back for his gun. I handed it to him and without even thinking he walked over to Rockwell and raised it up to meet his head.
"Toof!"
Rockwell's head snapped back as I jumped in place from the shock of what just happened. Raptor however went right to the next.
"Toof! Toof! Toof!"
He went on and on till the last soldier was killed and once the ground was covered in bodies did he look back to the front door to order the men who came walking back in with gas cans.
"Torch the house and the trucks once you're done. Then get heading back to the safehouse. Pierce will have orders for you when he gets back."
The men began to do as they were told and the four of us who remained listened closely as Raptor urged.
"Let's go. I'm done."
Raptor walked right on by me and together we began to exit the house one by one. Blitz remained unsure of what to do but decided it was best to keep on listening. Once back outside we made our way a few streets down to where we hid the cars and began to get back home. The ride back was a quiet one and you could still feel the chill in the air from what happened. I wasn't even able to think it was so thick, but once we arrived back at the house did we get a chance to relax. Raptor went right upstairs leaving us to do what we wanted. Blitz sat down on the couch and Pepper and I went to the kitchen. Juper remained by the front door waiting for Pierce and Cody was left to his own devices upstairs in the guest room. We left him here to watch the place and thank god we did. No one should have to see something like that.
Taking off my mask and leaning over the kitchen sink, I listened as Pepper soon asked with a worried voice.
"What do we do?"
Unsure I replied.
"I don't know. I don't want to talk about it."
Pepper who by this point had her mask off as well quickly joined me by the sink to whisper.
"I don't either but we can't avoid it. We got to do something."
"Like what? Talk to him? Tell him what he just did was wrong and he could have done something differently? Your a fucking fool Pep if you think that's something we have any right to say to him."
Pepper knew it too and looked towards the ground as I told her truthfully.
"I never witnessed an execution like that."
She nodded and replied.
"None of us have. Not even Pierce saw that coming."
"Is this just something people like him do Pep?"
Unsure she replied back.
"It's a different world over here. It's normal to people like Raptor. He's probably done that once or twice in his life."
Looking over to her eyes I questioned.
"But it was so cold. It was evil Pep. You saw the look in his eyes? He didn't even question killing those poor kids. They didn't do a fucking thing. I bet they wouldn't have said shit if he would have told them not to."
Placing her hand along my back Pepper replied.
"He doesn't want to take the chance. I can't blame him for what he did. I might not have wanted to see it, but it probably was the right call. As cold as it was."
"And that kid…..he just obliterated him. It was overkill."
"So was stabbing the guy a hundred times, but you gonna blame him for it? That was revenge Zeta. We don't have a place to say shit. Just like you said to me."
Everything was so weird right now. One second Raptor was this sweet man and the next he can be this…...this evil. I don't know how to understand it. I think that was my problem, but Pepper quickly offered up the other issue by saying.
"He didn't tell us about the kid being a user or him being related to Gorgon."
"Cause he knew we would judge him. We'd question the risk we were taking and for what? Just so he could make that man watch his son die like that? He wanted to do that. It was planned and he kept us in the dark so we wouldn't interfere. By then we had no choice but to watch Pep."
It was clear we were both unsure how to react now to this. My concern was Raptor and I knew it was hers too. We both cared at this point about him and I was worried now how he would be after getting his closure. He already seemed distant before and now I just wondered how it would be now. What was the next step?
With Pepper much more relaxed than me, I took a moment to turn the sink on and splash my face with water. I knew at the end of the day watching something like that wasn't good for my sanity, and no matter what I tried I couldn't help but see their faces and hear their screams as Raptor took his time shooting each one of them in the head.
