Ghosts, Goblins and Murder

Chapter Two

Rebecca Chase was waking from where she was taken. Her face was covered with some type of a cloth. She was able to hear her kidnappers discussing about another robbery. She acted as if she was still asleep with her arms and legs tied on some type of a musty old bed.

Jake Wilcox age 34 was talking to his partner Joey Allota. Both were with the Marines before getting misconducts for miss behaving and stealing the United Marines Trust Fund. "I am telling you this particular jewelry store is opened until midnight. It will do us justice to get in and out quickly with the pieces we need for our vendors."

"And what about the woman? We need to send our demands to the modeling agency. And no doubt the F.B.I. and police have gotten involved?" Joey had to say with his greed getting in the way of his lifestyle.

"Find I will use the electronic scrambling device to call them to have twenty millions dollars together or else we will kill the woman." He stated with Rebecca hearing the last part about killing her if the owner of the modeling agency doesn't pay up. Plus the fact it's her mother Louise Fletcher isn't going to pay it anyrate.

Sometime later at the home of Louise Fletcher in Manhattan condos. Seth Hutchinson, Captain Kate Beckett and Sergeant Esposito had set up the electronic devices in order to receive any calls coming in with regarding the kidnappers.

Louise Fletcher wearing a flowing multi colored dress with a Bourbon in her hand sitting on her grey couch counting the minutes. She had no idea if the kidnappers were going to call in regard to her modeling daughter Rebecca.

Beckett had walked outside for a breath of fresh air having to be slightly cold. She was wearing a brown coat with a brown belt buckle around it while she waited...

Moments later hearing the phone ring. She walked inside indicating for Louise to pick up the phone slowly listening to whoever is talking.

Meanwhile Esposito began the recording with trying to get a location of the call and hopefully where she might be. "This is Louise Fletcher can I talk to my daughter Rebecca?" She begged even though they haven't been all that close during the past few years.

"One moment we will let you talk to her for a moment. And don't try anything with tracing this call. You won't be able to find us with special electronic devices."

Jake brought the woman over to the phone with removing the tape from her mouth to talk even though her throat is dry. "Mother it's Rebecca. I am fine so far. I can't say anything further." As the phone was pulled away from her and the tape placed back on with his partner continued talking.

"We want twenty millions dollars in a black bag by tomorrow this time which is noontime. We will call again to let you know the location of where to drop the money off and then we will let go Rebecca." He hangs up looking at the time though early. They will be going out to rob the store they mention. Jake will be leaving Rebecca in a small storage room with another cot and furniture until they get back.

"Mrs. Fletcher do you have 20 millions dollars to take out for the return of your daughter?" Seth Hutchinson needed to asked.

"Yes I do and then some. My estate is estimated at 100 million dollars with the modeling agency and other real estate places that I own and rent along with stocks and bonds. You can always speak with my lawyer and attorney.

"We will certainly will do that Miss Fletcher(Divorced). " Seth Hutchinson had to say with the statement.

"Who is going to come with me to the bank to have it taken out? Unless I am going to be watched by the kidnappers.

"I will Miss Fletcher. We will be sure that you're well protected with going to the bank and speak with the bank manager to have the funds withdrawn." Sergeant Javier Esposito will have mention with looking over at Captain Beckett scratching her head...

Meanwhile Joey and Jake were stalking out their second jewelry store in the same day with the security guards changing shifts. Both were wearing nothing at the moment with walking in to head for the third floor display glass with several million dollars worth of diamonds and emeralds and others.

Currently they have five vendors needing the merchandise. And tonight is going to be the night to steal them. Moving into the men's room they locked the door to place their masks on and pulling out the tools along with their weapons in case there is trouble with the security guards...

"All of you stop what you're doing gentlemen and open up those cases or you will all be dead." Jake will say with Joey with the black bags to place them onto the top of the cases to have the employees to place the diamonds, sapphires and other pieces. "MOVE IT QUICKER!" He said with the workers scared as hell with with placing every piece into the two bags.

It was at this particular time when the young security guard walked in with raising his weapon. However Joey fired his weapon twice to kill the guard with another notch on their belt for murder.

There were a number of screams when the last case was empty. And they closed up the black bags to move out quickly with their route of using the old freight elevator to take them down to the basement and the back entrance away from the police.

With no more issues with the police and with getting away in their truck. And with taking care of Melissa in the storage room. They had to wait on calling her mother Louise on whether or not she was able to come up with the money for the ramson.
