Rosie the Brave: Part 1

Rosie was returning to base with Scott, Virgil, Alan and Gordan after saving 2 men who were trapped in a mine shaft in Canada. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Rosie's aircraft Stoneclaw was hit by a missile and started falling into the Malaysian jungle below. She tried to pull up out of her drive but despite her best efforts, Stoneclaw crash landed into the mist of the jungle.

Scott shouted down his communicator "Rosie, Rosie! Come in please, Come in Stoneclaw. Rosie can you hear me!? Blast it, her radio must be dead. Thunderbird 1 to Thunderbird 2, Virgil can you see her? can you see where Rosie is?" Scott shouted to Virgil in Thunderbird 2. "No Scott, I can't see her anywhere. We need to track where Stoneclaw is and find Rosie before it's too late" "Ok Virgil, you track Stoneclaw's location, I will radio base and explain the situation to them, then I will join you in the search". Not long after Scott radioed Tracy island, Thunderbird 2 found Stoneclaw's location and both Thunderbirds race to the destination, hoping and praying that Rosie would be ok.

Meanwhile, deep in the heart of the Malaysian jungle, The Hood was laughing a gruesomely evil laugh as Rosie slowly started to wake up from her crash. It was the Hood who had purposely shot her down as part of his dastardly plan to use her for his own ends. As Rosie started to wake up, she found herself struggling to move. Upon waking up a bit more, she realised she was tied quite tightly to a chair and she saw her captor face to face.

"Welcome my dear to my humble home" said the Hood, giving Rosie evilly disgusting smile that made Rosie shook with horror. As he slowly walked over to her, he revealed his plan. "Ha Ha Haaaaa At last At last! I have a member of International Rescue in my grasp. With your help my dear I will be able to control the world!". "You will never win. International Rescue will come and save me so you better watch your back!" "Bah! You can think that, but I am setting a trap that not even your beloved International Rescue will be able to find out until it's too late". Even though Rosie was confident that the Tracy boys would find her, she was still very worried about the sort of trap the Hood had planned for them. She had to find a way to warn them before it was too late. The question was: How?

"Blimey this jungle is thick. How are we going to find Rosie in all of this?" said Gordan as he and the other Tracy brothers were searching for Rosie and Stoneclaw. "She has to be around here somewhere as this is where we tracked Stoneclaw to." Scott said looking around trying to find a clue to where Stoneclaw had crashed. "Hold on guys. What's that over there? It looks like some sort of aircraft". The brothers rushed over to the craft and recognised it almost immediately. It was StoneClaw. The craft was battered and in a right state, but the lads recognised it.

Scott straight away radioed Jeff at Tracy island. "Dad, we have found Stoneclaw, it's in bad shape but it seems like it's in one piece." "That's good news, is there any sign of Rosie, can you see her anywhere?" Jeff asked nervously. "We can't see her yet. The cockpit is ramped open. We are going to look inside and see if we can find her".

Scott replied. "Ok Scott but you boys be careful. Someone shot Rosie out of the sky for a reason. We need to find out why. Keep me updated and be careful" said Jeff before he signed off. "Right" said Virgil "Let's have a look inside Stoneclaw, see if we can find Rosie. I hope she isn't injured at all".

With Scott climbing in first and the others following on behind, they entered the cockpit of the aircraft and gasped at what they saw inside. The control console was smashed to pieces. Different bits of wiring were hanging from the ceiling and some of the internal mechanisms were smoking and occasionally sparking. Alan walked carefully over to the seat of the controls but found no one there. All he could see was the headrest and one of the arm rests partly covered in blood and a note taped to the back of the chair.

"Looks like she maybe gravely injured somehow and in some way from the blood stains I'm seeing. This was taped to the back of the chair". Alan gave the note to Virgil. Virgil looked at it and found on the other side of the note it said, "To IR". "This note is address to International Rescue" Virgil said looking at the note curiously. "Well open it then and let's see what's inside. This suspense is killing me here" said Gordan, impatient as ever. "Ok, ok I'm opening it now" said Virgil. As Virgil opened the note, he read out the creepy message that was written on it:

"International Rescue, I have captured one of your own. You have 48 hours to hand over your Thunderbird machines and their plans or your precious little lady will die a horrible lingering death. Any attempt to rescue her will lead to her execution being put forward earlier than planned.

Heed my warning International Rescue if you ever want to see your fellow crew member alive again"
