Hanna Marin exit a cab outside the old family mansion in Arkansas, the mansion that used to be the home of Hanna's awesome grandma, Regina Marin.
Regina died a few weeks ago and to everyone's surprise, the family mansion was left to Hanna, making Hanna the new queen of the Marin family, a title that Regina held for many many years.
"Wow!" says Hanna, who almost can't believe that the Marin family mansion belong to her now.
She walk up to the front-door and unlock it with the key that wass ent to her.
There's a sweet smile on Hanna's face as she enter the mansion.
Inside the mansion is still the nice comfortable scent of Regina's favorite perfume, a scent that help Hanna feel at home and relaxed.
Ever since she lost weight and ended her hefty era, Hanna has always been very good friends with her grandma.
Hanna cried when she got that phone call, telling her that Regina is dead, but then Hanna also got happy when she realized that the big mansion had become hers.
"Welcome home, new lady Marin." says George Dover, the man who was Regina's 'butler'.
"Thanks, George." says Hanna.
"I hope I will get to keep my job." says George.
"You sure will. I'm gonna need someone to look after this place for me 'cause I won't live here all the time like grandma did. My home's in Rosewood where I have my friends and family and a job I love." says Hanna.
"Okay. You're free to do as you wish. You are the new lady Marin now, the most important woman of the Marin-line." says George.
"Yeah, guess so..." says Hanna.
"Do you want coffee and cookies?" says George.
"I sure do. Bring it to me in the library." says Hanna.
"As you wish, lady." says George.
"New rule, you don't need to be so formal. Call me Hanna, just like when grandma was alive." says Hanna.
"Okay, Hanna." says George.
Hanna walk up to the library.
She switch on the lights in the room.
"Nice." says Hanna as she take a seat on the couch.
On the table is the last book that Regina read before her death.
It is 'Amore Novu' by Jean Fraser II.
Hanna put the book back in its place in one of the bookshelves.
"Oh..." says Hanna when she finds a note written by Regina.
Hanna read it.
It says "Hanna, grab the book 'Regales Vigilantus' and a secret will be revealed, a secret not even George know about."
Hanna grab the book mentioned on the note.
The bookshelf swing open like a door, revealing a secret room.
Hanna enter the room and switch on the light in there.
The room has only 2 things in it...a bed and...a black ebony wood chest.
Hanna open the chest.

"Awesome. Also please get a room ready for my daughter too. She's so sweet and needs to have her own room here in the mansion." says Hanna.
"I'll prepare one of the spare rooms for her." says George.
"Nice." says Hanna.
"Indeed, Hanna." says George and then leave the room.
Hanna drink coffee and eat cookies.
She think it's so cool to be the most important woman in the Marin family now.
No longer being a lazy teen, Hanna is more than ready to take on the role as the new Marin family matriarch, the role Regina had for a very long time.
Yes, some of Hanna's female cousins are a bit upset that Hanna was the one Regina gave the mansion to, but Regina felt that Hanna was more similar to herself than Melody Marin, Bekka Marin, Victoria Marin and Liza Marin has ever been and as such the most suitable one to be the next lady of the Marin family.
Melody is the one of Hanna's cousins who got most upset. Melody live in Arkansas and has spent more time with Regina than Hanna so she thought she'd get the mansion, but Regina never felt very close to Melody, who never shared any of Regina's interests and whose personality is not anything like Regina's own.
Hanna on the other hand shared several of Regina's interests and is very similar in personality to how Regina was as a younger woman.
Tom and Ashley was very proud when they were told that their daughter Hanna was given the family mansion.
"Hanna, congratulations. You are now a truly big deal." is what Ashley said to Hanna.
2 hours later.
Hanna put on Regina's old big coat, grab Regina's rifle and walk to the nearby forest.
The reason for Hanna going there is to maintain Regina's tradition of hunting wild boar.
Years ago as a college girl Hanna went hunting with her grandma and also got an Arkansas firearm-license.
After a few minutes Hanna sees a wild boar.
She aim, fire and...takes it down.
Hanna grab the dead boar and drag it along back to the mansion, just as she's seen her grandma do many times.
"I'm glad to see that the ol' ways didn't die along with your grandmother." says George.
"Thanks. I honor grandma by keeping up her hunting-traditions." says Hanna.

"Let me cook up some of that boar meat and we can have it for dinner later with pasta and some tomato sauce." says George.
"Nice. Do that." says Hanna.
"As you wish, Hanna." says George.
"Can I give an idea?" says Hanna.
"Of course. You are in charge now. I'll follow your orders. The role of family matriarch is yours now." says George.
"Then I wanna have things a bit more casual around here." says Hanna.
"Okay." says George.
"Sweet." says Hanna.
"Yes." says George.
"Bring me an ale and then take care of the boar meat." says Hanna.
"Alright, Hanna." says George.
3 hours later.
Hanna and George eat dinner and the food is boar meat, pasta and tomato sauce.
It taste very good, both Hanna and George think so.
"Yum." says Hanna.
"That's true." says George.
"Sweet." says Hanna.
"How's lil' Clarissa doin' these days?" says George.
"Awesome. She's a sweet, good and happy girl. Like me, not much of a student in school, but I make sure she study so she doesn't repeat my mistakes." says Hanna.
"Okay." says George.
"In case you wonder, you get to keep your job. Someone's gotta look after this mansion when I'm not here and such." says Hanna.
"Thank you, Hanna." says George.
"No problem, George. You've always been loyal to grandma. I trust you." says Hanna.
"Good. I'd never betray a Marin." says George.

2 days later, Caleb and Clarissa arrive.
"Mommy!" says a happy Clarissa.
Hanna hug her 8 year old daughter Clarissa Britney Rivers.
"Hi, girl." says Hanna.
"Do me get a room here, mommy?" says Clarissa.
"Yes. There's a room in the mansion that will be your room." says Hanna.
Hanna show Clarissa where the room is.
"Sooo awesome!" says Clarissa when she get to see her new second room.
The room is decorated in pink, which is Clarissa's favorite color.
"Han, why do our daughter need another room? You told me we'd still be living in Rosewood." says Caleb.
"And we will, but sometimes we'll live in this mansion and I want our cutie Issa to still have her own roonm when we do, just like home in good old Rosewood. She might get sad without a room of her own." says Hanna.
"Okay then. I just don't wanna spoil her too much." says Caleb.
Clarissa open her pink bag and pull out a few plushies.
She place them on the bed.
Then she also pull out her video game console and connect it to the TV that is in the room so she can play cute girl-themed video games.
"Issa, do you like your new room?" says Hanna.

Hanna and Caleb leave the room and walk to the library.

3 hours later.
Hanna, Caleb and Clarissa sit by the big table in the mansion's fancy dining room.
"Mr Rivers, Lady Marin and little lady...a nice southern classic. Baked deep-friend potatoes, boiled boar meat and spicy tomato sauce." says George as he enter the room with the dinner.
George place the food on the table.
"Thanks." says Hanna.
George leave the room.
Since Hanna has more casual rules than Regina did, George could eat with Hanna, Caleb and Clarissa, but he prefer to hold onto some of the old traditions and eat alone in his room.
"We're like king and queen and princess now." says Clarissa, feeling like a princess now when they are in a fancy mansion instead of their normal house in Rosewood.
"Not really." says Hanna.
"Dad, aren't we royal now? Mommy's grandma's home's so awesome." says Clarissa.
"Listen to your mother, Issa. This mansion doesn't make us royalty." says Caleb.
"Okay, daddy." says Clarissa.
The next day.
Hanna show Caleb and Clarissa around in the mansion.

The basement and all 3 floors.
Clarissa think the mansion is awesome.
Being here makes her feel like a princess.

"Yay! Me is Princess Issa of Arkansas." says Clarissa, all cute.
Hanna smile at how much Clarissa has the same personality as Hanna herself had when she was a kid.
"Don't get too comfortable. Rosewood's still our home, girl." says Caleb.
"Yes, dad." says Clarissa.
Clarissa use her pink cell phone to take a photo of herself in front of a wall covered in old red velvet.
Then she try to send the photo her best friend, Belle Victoria Fitz, the daughter of Aria and Ezra, but the phone doesn't work.
"Daddy, me cannot send photo to Belle..." says Clarissa.
"Cell phones operate on limited out here. Usually, but I think I can boost your phone-signal enough to send at least one picture to Rosewood." says Caleb.
Clarissa hands her phone to Caleb who use his skills as a hacker to give his cute daughter's phone a bit more power.
Caleb hands the phone back to Clarissa.

She try to send the photo to Belle and now it works.

In Rosewood, Belle smile when she get the photo from Clarissa.

45 minutes later.
Clarissa play video games in her room.

"Mrs Marin, may you find a good eternity in Heaven." says Caleb.
"Old great grandma, goodnight..." says Clarissa.
"Nothin' can stop Regina's soul on it's journey to Heaven. Her soul shall be livin' on there forever. Ashes to ashes and dust to dust. In the name of thy father, son and holy spirit. Amen." says Ben Gordon.
"Grandma was so cool. I'll miss her a lot." says Hanna.
"You've her with you, in your heart." says Caleb.
"Awww! Thanks." says Hanna.
"I'm always here for ya, Han." says Caleb.
"That's wonderful." says Hanna.
"Me is here too, mommy." says Clarissa, trying to be a bit more like her friend Samantha Cavanaugh, who's mature like her mom Spencer.

The Rivers family spend 3 more days in the mansion before returning to Rosewood, leaving George to take care of the mansion, promising him to return for a while again next year.
