20 years ago on the 7th birthday party Efe sees his mother Leya kissing another man. Fearing that if he would tell , his father would leave his mother so he hides in the family car that his father uses to search for him. Efe and his father find themselves in the middle of a murder plot. The car is run off the road by a paid assassin whom kills Efe's father and saves an injured Efe from the same fate. Kadim the killer puts the injured Efe over his shoulder and drops him off to the house of Ismail and Fatma who end up raising Efe as their own son along with sister named Nadine. Without a memory of his former life …..Efe adapts to his new surroundings
Efe's life goes from extreme wealth and advantages to a poor fisherman scraping by each day just to survive. Fatma's love for Efe makes him grow into a very honorable , moral and responsible adult that would do anything for his family.
Efe's rich family are made to believe that both the father and Efe were killed in the car accident.
20 years later Kadim the Assassin who spent the past 20 years in prison vows to get his revenge on those who paid to kill Efe's father and betrayed him with a life sentence . Kadim portrays himself as Efe's savior in that he saved Efe from those that ordered the murder of his real father and that his life is still in danger since he is still alive. Kadim convinces Efe to help him get revenge on those that have taken 20 years away from his real life.
Efe learns of his identical twin brother Mete whose life though affluent has also to been lost in that his other half has been missing this whole time. Mete is controlling partner in the family business , married their childhood friend Nisan. When Efe and Mete finally meet, those that ordered the murder also discover that Efe is alive and order his murder once again. Circumstances of Mete wearing Efe's coat cause the assassins to mistakenly kill him insted of Efe.
Kadim convinces Efe to take up his brothers identity so that he can learn who ordered the murder of his father and now his brother Mete. Though Efe and Mete are identical , their traits are different and start becoming noticeable in that Efe is having a hard time adapting to his new wealthy life. Efe is now forced to accept the burdens of Mete's life which involves a affair with a co worker Seda and the betrayal of Nisan, his wife 5 years and their long time childhood friend. Efe remembers the closeness he had with Nisan as a child and once again is drawn to her and tries to protect her from the news that Mete never loved her as a husband should love his wife but only as a friend.
When Efe distances himself from Seda… Seda blames Nisan for stealing the love of her life and attempts to kill Nisan to force Efe/ Mete back into her life. During the 5 year marriage to Mete, Nisan has looked away from the signs that there were problems with their marriage. Now that Efe is Mete she sees that he is different and begins to believe that their marriage is worth saving and that she could love again. The new found hope comes to and end when Seda announces that she is pregnant with Mete's child , forcing Nisan to want to leave since any chance at reconciliation would be over.
As Nisan is about to get on a plane to London , she notices an article about the death of a fisherman that looks exactly like Mete and his name was Efe. Her search for the truth brings her to Fatma who has been so grief stricken at the loss of Efe that she refuses to believe that her Efe is dead. Nisan confronts Efe/Mete to tell her the truth and Efe asks for her help in that he is lost in this new life and that she is the only one that he can trust. The more they are together, the more they begin to fall in love making everyone around them troubled as to why Nisan would stand by her adulterous husband that is having a child with his mistress.
The more Efe and Nisan admit their love for each other the more the circumstances spiral out of control and begin to unravel the 20 years of lies and deceit that has engulfed both of their families. When Layla accidentally brings to life who order the murder of her husband… Efe's rage is unleashed on Nisan's father who has been the mastermind in all the illegal dealings of the company that Efe's father was trying to stop thus causing the ordered murder.
In bringing forth the truth to his fathers murder, both families are unraveled beyond repair. Nisan is put into a position of knowing that her father was responsible for the death of Efe's father and brother… how could she now ever have a life with Efe who she loves dearly. As the walls are crumbling around Yakup Sayer, he is forced to admit that he fathered another daughter ... who happens to be Seda. The stress placed on Nisan reveals a deadly illness of leukemia that makes Nisan return the engagement ring and putting Efe is a state of despair. Nisan makes everyone around her promise to not to tell of her illness to Efe so that he no longer holds on to her and can go on without her... once she is gone.
Efe getting the families together so that they can see them get married and begin the rebuilding of the family that was completely shattered the past 20 years
Once Efe learns of Nisan's illness he is devastated at how he has acted towards her and left helpless when the gun runners that were the culprits to all the chaos these past 20 years kidnapped Nisan while she was on her way to the hospital seeking treatment.
Chapter 19 begins with flashbacks to Efe and Nisan's wedding night in the hospital bed
Efe: Nisan ….. my love come to bed… you need your rest
Nisan: I don't know what this week has in store for us… but tonight is not for rest…. I want to make love to you and you my love make me feel every bit of love you have for me
Efe: We have a lifetime…. You need your rest
Nisan: Efe… don't you want to make love to me…. Then why did you marry me?
Efe: I've wanted you for so long….. but I don't want to loose you
Nisan: You're not going to loose me…. But you're not going to deprive me of my special night with you…. I want to feel all your passion…. Whatever you do don't hold back… don't do what Mete did to me.
Efe: I'm not Mete …. I love you so much
Nisan: Then show me sweetheart…. Don't waste another minute thinking ….. just love me
Efe then goes and closes the window blinds, locks the doors and then goes to his wife and begins kissing her forehead, her cheeks, her chin and the her lips giving her the most passionate of kisses that takes her breath away.
Nisan then begins to take Efe's shirt off to see that muscular chest and contoured abs which she proceeds to gently kiss each making her as aroused as she has ever been. The love she has for Efe is so much different than that which she had for Mete. Every part of her being wants Efe. Her breasts are aching to be kissed and touched.
She makes Efe lay in the hospital bed so that she can sit on top of him as he enters her. She stares into his eyes and begins to rock back and forth and feeling him deep within her. Her eyes and mouth reveal the pure pleasure that she is receiving. The passionate movement continues until each become almost breathless as they both are about to climax, Nisan lays her aroused breasts onto Efe's chest and kisses him passionately as he releases himself into her.
As they lay in each others arms , Efe rolls his wife over so that he now can stare into her eyes and smiles.
Nisan: You my love have done what I have sought for so long…. Loving you is the best of my life… lets rest for awhile so that I can get more of you.
Efe: I didn't hurt you….. did I?
Nisan: Hurt me? If you think that was hurting me….. please I beg you to hurt me some more… I love you Efe…. I don't know what my life would be without you…. I want so much to live. Efe….. tonight you gave me what Mete never could….. I was truly loved by you ….. my love I gave you what I could never give Mete ….. my heart and soul.
Efe: I love you so much and I'm glad that we pleasured each other….. Our love is ours… can we never compare to Mete again…. His love was Seda's and we will let her keep that for herself. You are 100% mine
Nisan: Before the nurses come to give me the medication that will drain my energy….. Let me feel your love one more time tonight… This is the most special night of my life.
Efe remains on top and gently enters her once again. He slowly and gently moves in and out giving each of the arousal that hightens their maximum pleasure once again. Nisan takes her hands that have been caressing Efe's back and moves them down to pulls him as tight as he can be to her so that once again she feels his full release into her.
Exhausted they lay in each others arms and sleep until the nurse knocks for Nisan's medication. The finale clearly eluded to story lines that need to be continued and explored….. such as the purchase of the Resturaunt named Nadide and Burak's …. The romance between Efruz and Bora….. Seda's Magazine cover but most importantly the Pregnancy of Nisan.
As the camera's show a very happy Efe bringing his boat from sea with a bag full of fish. He walks the beach to meet his very pregnant wife laying in a recliner waiting for him to help her.
Efe lifts Nisan from the recliner and then moves down to her belly to greet the pending twins.
Efe: I can't wait to meet you my sons…. You have to be very nice to your moma… she has endured alot to get you here
Nisan as she touches her very large belly: Your papa will be the best father you can ever imagine…. He will teach many things…. most important … how to love.
Efe gives his wife a tender kiss and grabs her hand as they walk along the beach when all of sudden Nisan pauses puts her hands to her stomach and tells : Efe…. They are coming….. as they look down and see that her water has broken and it's time to take her to the hospital.
Efe calls Efruz who has become Nisan's doctor ever since the kidnapping to get ready the twins are wanting to come into this life. Efruz calls Bora who has become her lover who tells Nadide who then calls Fatma who calls Layla who calls Sumra. Bora also tells Seda that her sister is about to have the twins.
Efruz meets Efe and Nisan at the hospital entrance and begins to collect the vitals to make sure this isn't a false alarm
Efruz: Sister….. tell me what happened
Nisan: As we were walking on the beach…. The twins were playing … they were very active and giving me some sharp kicks… Then I got a very severe sharp pain and I felt the water run down my leg. I told Efe that something was happening since the twins were continuing to move around making my stomach hurt more than usual.
Efruz: You didn't see any blood ?
Efe: Just water…. No blood , but she was in a great deal of pain
Efruz: Nisan… can you approximate how far apart the contractions
Nisan : At first I couldn't tell…. Once in the car they started coming quicker almost every five minutes
Efruz: I think you two are going to be parents in a very short period of time.
The extended family of these twins begin arriving at the Hospital. The two miracle babies have been on the minds of their three grandmothers, Their two aunts and the two almost uncles and of course everyone at the company in that these two babies are the future of the company.
Fatma: What a great day our grandchildren will arrive….. Layla…. Sumra are you not happy for this day?
Layla: I've never been more excited…. We are having two beautiful boys …. They bring us a new beginning and so much joy after all the troubles we all experienced
Sumra: with Nisan and Efe as parents they will be the most beautiful children… we will spoil them won't we ?
Bora: I'll call Efruz to see how everything is coming along…. We don't want any surprises
Efruz: Bora…. You can tell everyone to be patient everything is fine and the babies will arrive soon. Efe isn't leaving Nisan's side
Seda: I can't believe this my baby sister will be a mommy soon
Fatma: Praise Allah … These babies have changed everyone hearts…. They are loved by everyone in this family
Layla, Sumra and Seda all smile to each other, what a difference one year makes when so much hatred deceit and just plain meanness prevailed.
In the delivery room Efruz encourages Nisan to start her breathing exercises and encourages Efe to keep Nisan focus …. Delivery of twins isn't easy on a woman especially won as sick as Nisan was last year.
Efruz: Nisan your are now dilated enough that we can start what we have been practicing all these months… regulate your breathing….. take some deep breathes and push as hard as you can….
Nisan looks to Efe : We had alot of fun making these boys….. Efe this really hurts…. Next time you deliver ….. Efruz laughs
Efruz: A man wouldn't last 5 minutes with this much pain…. Nisan… take a deep breath and Push as hard as you can.
Nisan once again does as she is told and with that final push…. The crown of the first boy is seen.
Efruz: Nisan one more big push and your first born will be here
Efe has remained speechless seeing what he is seeing, especially after this last push, his first son has been delivered and is kicking and screaming. The Nurses take him and clean him after the umbilical cord has been cut. Then they tightly wrap him and give him to Efe to hold.
A very jubilant Efe kisses and talks to his first born son: I'm your father Mucize…. You are the miracle baby…. Your mom is still busy but she will hold you very soon. Your brother is starting to arrive.
Efruz: Nisan , it will be over very shortly and all that pain will disappear…. Just push as hard as you can again.
Nisan: I can't do it …. It hurts so much
Efe: Nisan sweetie…. Look at Mucize , he misses his brother ….. just another push my love
Efruz: This is it….. now push as hard as you can… Nisan
Nisan once again pushes hard and Masal who completes the fairy tail , he to comes out. Though not kicking and screaming but very healthy. The nurse takes him clean him up, bundles him and hands him to his father.
Efe: Masal my son you complete the fairytale that your mother and I have had…. Our miracle fairytale is now complete….. look at your beautiful mother.
Mucize and Masal are placed in their mothers arms as she gently kisses both of them and then looks at her husband with pride. These two baby boys are her pride and joy. Efe leans down and kisses all three his family has grown.
Efe: My love we have three impatient grandmothers wanting to see our two sons…. Our two sons…. Nisan …. They are here and they are beautiful
Nisan: Let the family in ….. it's time our sons meet their new family
Efe goes in the waiting area and tells everyone that the boys are delivered, they are identical, very healthy and their names are Mucize and Masal.
Fatma: praise be to Allah, my son our miracle fairytale babies are here… such joy we must have a feast in their honor
Layla: Efe... can we see them … I can't stand not seeing them one second longer
Efe: Nisan said let our sons meet their family
As they each gather into Nisan's room they marvel at how identical they are and how they are sleeping in their mothers arms.
Surma is overcome with tears of joy seeing her daughter holding these two precious babies that have brought peace to very bad harmony just a year ago.
Layla has flashbacks to her day of delivering Efe and Mete in the same manner. Her two sons were the joy of her life until the tragedies took everything away.
Seda reflects on her lost son with Mete and somewhat smiles in that all the mistakes she made she will still be able two see these two grow…. will give her a glimpse into how her son could have been.
Nadide begins to day dream of the day she and Burak will be married and have a child of their own. In the meantime she will be the best Auntie for them … they are her brothers sons.
Bora embraces Efruz and gives her praise in helping to heal this family by bringing these babies into the world.
Efruz: Bora….. you never mentioned…. Do you want children?
Bora: Children with you?
Efruz: of course with me…. Who else are you seeing?
Bora: I didn't know that you were even thinking of me as husband
Efruz: I no longer have family other that what you see here…. Since I can never have Efe and you can never have Nisan …. We are a match made in heaven….. Yes I've been thinking of you as a husband….. I think you would make an excellent father. Have you thought of me as a wife …. I know how much you want to lay with me!
Bora: Have I been that obvious ?… tonight we will discuss this further .
After Nisan's bone marrow treatment was seen to be a success and found out that their wedding night of passion was also successful in conceiving twins….. Nisan and Efe made the decision that Nisan's apartment would be to small and they couldn't chose to live with Layla or Surma since one would be offended. They purchased a home not as opulent as the homes they have been accustomed to but one suitable to raising two sons with plenty of space for them to play. If they should have more children then they can get even a bigger place.
They decided that their sons would be raised as though they lived in both worlds that Efe became accustomed two. Nisan always has dreamed of a simple life and now she and Efe and the twins will live it.
