I Do not own Dragon Ball or DC, this story is simply fanfiction I make nothing.
Ok so this idea has been in my head since Dragon Ball Legends introduced Shallot and the idea that universe 7 ancient Saiyans were different from how they are now. So I thought to have a little fun with an ancient Saiyan mixed with DC, not sure if I should go with Justice League or Young Justice so I'll start the main character off solo before getting involved with the League. Read, Review, and Give me your opinions on this story, just note I'll be adding headcanons based on what I know about biology to make some sense with Saiyans and how they work.
CH 1 Arrival
A streak of light past the pale moon of a planet called Earth, this light was from an unknown craft blasting toward the blue and green world. The space craft was round in design, grey and white in color, almost as if it was unfinished, there was only one window in the front with a metal sheet covering the cockpit. Inside there were two pods near a closed airlock, the first housed a short boy with black hair looking like a permanent bed head with small spikes of hair in every direction almost to his shoulders two crossing spikes of hair over his forehead and a curved spike under both ears, he wore a set of form fitting blue armor, bracers, and boots on his lower back was a black tail floating freely as though in liquid, he seemed roughly three feet tall his age undetermined. The second pod housed a tiny girl with similar features to the boy with wild spiked down hair reaching her lower back with curved spikes of hair over her temples, she was curled in a ball floating in what was now clearly see through liquid of some sort, her height was barely a foot and a half most likely a toddler.
Red light began to fill the ship as it breached the earths atmosphere, slowing bit by bit until the heat from re-entry dissipated. The light within the ship took a blue hue as it began to deactivate stasis for the two occupants, a jerk of the ship signified landing as the first pod began draining the clear liquid, a hum was heard when the pod cleared. The young boys coal black eyes opened blearily as consciousness slowly came to him. As his mind registered the familiar sight of his fathers exploration vessel he jumped at the beep next to him. He moved to the other pod seeing a sleeping girl.
'Sorrel', he thought remembering his sister was sent with him of planet. His memory was a little fuzzy, hurting a bit at some blank parts, but he remembered that there was an uprising back on his home planet Sadala and that he was supposed to watch after his baby sister unti- pain flared in his head when he tried to remember. His eyes clenched shut with the pain, but was pushed away when he heard the wailing of his sister, she had just awoke and began to cry out most likely for food.
"Ah, don't cry Sorrel big brother Ramp will get you something", the boy said in panic. He didn't know how to care for an infant but since she had teeth he could feed her a ration bar. He went to his right past the cockpit into a hallway and opened the door on his left leading to a storage room and opened a box that said rations in Sadalan. Grabbing an armful of bars he rushed back to his little sister tearing open the packages and crushed up a bar and began to feed bits to her so she didn't choke whilst also being careful not to be bit, Saiyans when hungry enough could bit fingers off.
As she began to calm down he picked her up and walked back to the storage room finding a bag of some sort to carry more rations in before he went out of the ship. With his bag full he walked to the airlock and pressed down on the decompression button so the door would open to the new world they were to live on. Excitement began to fill him as he realized he and his sister would be the first Saiyans to step foot on a new world, 'what would it be like?', 'would it be more dangerous than Sadala?', and will I get to fight strong warriors here? went through his mind as the air lock began to open. The first thing he noticed was the blue sky and green and brown plants outside the ship, the air was fresh and the breeze felt nice on his damp skin.
"Well Sorrel lets see what our new home will be like", Ramp stepped out of the ship and noticed a big difference from his home planet. "Its so light here", he was surprised that on this new world he felt so light. He began to jump high into the air then, his sister laughing as he jumped above the trees surrounding his ship landing on top of the vessel.
"So now we need to know else is on this planet", he said looking to his now sleepy sister wondering what this planet was like and if it had people.
It had been three months since landing on earth and the siblings had eaten all their rations, Ramp had made it his job to find animals and plant seeds for food while his siter slept in her pod. The pod was made by his father, a scientist something under appreciated on Sadala, it was modified to transmit basic knowledge to the occupant while they slept. This was used on Ramp after his older brother was born, his father wanted a way to educate his children as schools on Sadala were more survival training than anything and he wanted more for them. In this time Sorrel learned to walk and could speak short sentences, she would try to explore when she could and would play fight with Ramp after he brought food for them, she was to young to notice that Ramp didn't eat as much as she did, food was becoming harder to find.
This day Sorrel went to explore while Ramp was passed out tired from low food intake and hunting. She got quite far for a three month old, finding her self looking toward tall buildings as she walked unnoticed above the people in the city enraptured by the sights.
Ramp awoke outside against the ship drifting back to the waking world in a cold sweat, something happened in his dreams he couldn't recall. Ramp looked around as he awoke stretching his arms and legs. "Sorrel", he yelled but with no reply. He was surprised when he didn't get attacked by his sister who always jumped him for a play fight when he woke up. He looked around to find no sign of his sister a pit forming in his gut as he franticly began to sniff for her scent. It was a few hours old, but he could tell where it went. Ramp focused on the power inside his body just as his parents taught him and lifted off the ground. As Ramp began to open his eyes, he moved in the direction Sorrel went a flew at high speed hundreds of feet above the surface of the planet toward hoping his little sister was alright.
It was minutes until Ramp saw the skyline of a city, he knew there were sapient lifeforms from the scents and sites he went to while hunting but he hadn't really seen what the locals looked like. He touched down on the first roof he saw looking for Sorrels scent now that he was here, he was close so with just a quick whiff he could find her exact location, a trick his mother taught him. When he got her scent he looked into the city in the direction her scent was only to freeze in shock.
"The- they look like Saiyans", was whispered by the young Saiyan amazed that a people on a completely different planet could look so much like Saiyans did, minus the tail but still. He wondered if there warriors were strong or if they were crafty. He stopped his train of thought remembering he was looking for his sister. He focused and jumped toward his sister's location floating around buildings staying out of sight from the locals for now.
He found his sister following some bipedal animal with a curled and wavy tail. It gave off a mewing sound as it stopped and began to lick its paw. Ramp let out a sigh of relief as he touched the ground behind his sister, "There you are Sorrel", she looked away from the animal to her brother a smile on her face "RaRa", she called him sometimes when she was happy "look", she turned back to the animal that was now looking at them with curiosity. It soon ran when a yell in a language neither understood rang around the corner in an alley way.
"Stay here Sorrel", his sister obeyed with a shake of her head content with looking around for now. He moved toward the noise taking a sniff of the air and finding the scent off fear he moved to the corner in a blink worry on his face. Ramp looked into the alley way to see two locals, one had metal object in his hand, "Just hand over the drugs you old bag and you can live a little longer". Ramp didn't know what he said but then he smelled more fear and saw and elderly local women across from the man. He could tell from the look of the elderly women and the scent of fear that this man was threatening her.
He was beyond angry, on Sadala anyone who survived to old age was honored and respected as even if they could no longer fight, they had precious wisdom and were looked toward for advise or training. He could smell that the women was not a fighter, she didn't have the right feel to her scent but she still lived to old age and dissevered respect. She was shaking now with something the man said and Ramp could Smell few anywhere with much strength, this elder need someone to protect her. He remembered the Decree of the king before the coup started, with the ability to travel amongst the stars the Saiyans were to be protectors so that the weak had the chance to become strong, so he moved.
"I said hand i-", the man began to say before a foot landed across his head just strong enough to knock him into a wall, Ramp could read his power from his scent higher than a lot nearby but much weaker than the Saiyan. Ramp didn't want to kill him, if he did he couldn't pay for his transgressions.
The women was shocked when a blue blur lunched the mugger into a wall. When she looked to her savior she was surprised to see a young boy in blue armor of all things, only to do a double take at the tail sticking out of his backside. "Wukong!", the elderly women said in a whisper alerting the Saiyan who then seemed to vanish. She looked around the alley for him but saw nothing, not noticing in her savior in the sky flying away with his sister back to the ship pondering what he saw.
The two Saiyan siblings landed back at their home Sorrel slipping into sleep from the flight home. Ramp put her into her pod watching it fill with her drifting into a pleasant dream. Ramp thought about the elder and what happened, he understood that the man was threatening her and wondered if this was common and if so what that meant about this world.
The Decree of his king and the strong agreement from his parents flashed through his mind. He decided while he was here he would protect his sister, train her to be strong, and protect those of this planet that couldn't do so themselves.
