I do not own Dragon Ball or DC, this story is simply fiction I own nothing.

AN: For this chapter I want to explain a little on Saiyan Technology. Due to the Saiyans energy manipulation and the abundance of energy flowing on planet Sadala I believe that their technology would evolve similarly. It would be safe to guess that they wouldn't even think to use fossil fuels for anything and instead use the energy they produce and the energy around them, giving Saiyans a virtually limitless power source. This would work out well for a Saiyan society as their economy would revolve around fighting and survival with no real form of currency as everything would be for the Saiyan people as a whole. The spaceship Ramp and Sorrel use to get to Earth absorbs and stores energy from its surroundings and would have a source either from cosmic energy or the inhabitants being woken to recharge the ship. The pods would make sense in the way of freeing up time for fighting and gathering food as opposed to trying to explain ideas and concepts that, while they would need to know, wouldn't be appealing to most but future scientists.

Side note in this chapter words ""ed are the ones Ramp and Sorrel have learned.

CH 3 Capture

Ramp was laying in a tree watching Sorrel again, his eyes were drooping and his stomach had knots from hunger, food was low and he was giving almost everything to his sister now. It had been three days since the "Bank" attack and Ramp was stopping more and more attacks or robberies since, hunting was scarce now, the remaining animals had all but left the "Forest" around the ship. He came to the "City" more now because of the scraps of food he could find, it seemed the people here eat considerably less than they got for some reason. While he could find bits of food for himself here he would end up spending some of the energy he got back helping the people and his hunger was making him sleep more to compensate, though not by much. As Ramp looked to Sorrel playing with the "Cats" he drifted into a dreamless sleep not knowing the trouble he would face when he awoke.

Line break

Sorrel liked when her big brother flew her to the "City", flying was fun and the "Cats" were fun to play with even if she couldn't play like she did with Ramp, but they were fluffy so it was fine, her favorite part was when they rubbed against her and purred. One thing she liked about the "City" was that there were so many things to climb and a lot of new places in it. Another was the nice smells and the tasty new foods they sometimes ate, her favorite was the "Cake" Ramp got her yesterday.

While playing like she normally did in the "Park" Sorrel saw most of the "Cats" leaving and watched wondering where they were going. Sorrel got on her feet, walking being something she mastered shortly after her first trip, and started to follow the fluffy creatures. Normally she would be stopped or grabbed by her brother but as a toddler she did not register that Ramp wasn't speaking up or that his scent was getting farther away, all that mattered was the "Cats".

The young Saiyan walked past several "Trees" and reached asphalt, the "Cars" were not frequent on this side of the "Park" and the child went unnoticed as she ran across the street to where the "Cats" were approaching an "Alley". The "Alley" was blocked by closed metal "Trash cans" wedged into the space big enough for maybe two people to fit through. When Sorrel got close to the "Trash cans" she saw the "Cats" jump onto the closed lids and go into the poorly lit "Alley". Not being deterred by the obstacle Sorrel bent her tiny legs and launched over the "Trash cans" landing without even a grunt of effort and moved her eyes over the new area she was in to find the "Cats". When her eyes adjusted Sorrel saw a "Cat" turn a corner and went to follow, not noticing a soft thumping sound coming from the brick wall on her left. She went to the corner and peaked her head to see a "Cat" licking its paw and smiled. Moving around the corner Sorrel reached her hand to the cat only for a door on her left further down the "Alley" to slam open scaring the "Cats" away before she could follow.

Three people left carrying boxes speaking with annoyance in words Sorrel didn't understand, but she didn't care she was mad they make the "Cats" run away. She moved without the three men seeing her and punched the closest one in his leg. A scream of pain came from the mans mouth as he jerked back dropping the box, its fragile contents breaking on contact with the ground. The others turned seeing a small girl with a monkey tail near their hurting companion.

"The hell", one said as the punched one looked down all three pausing for a moment then stepped back.

"Its that monkey tailed freak", was said as two looked scared and one looked closer.

"Wait look, this one looks different", they then realized two things, this child was smaller and instead of an armored monkey boy it was an armored monkey girl the size of a toddler.

Sorrel looked to the man she punched an angered expression on her face, "You made the "Cats" leave!"

"The hell did she say", one said.

The man Sorrel punched yelled, "Who cares grab the brat, I bet we can get the tailed freak to back off if we take it to the boss."

The other two nodded setting their own boxes down and the first tried to grab the monkey girl. Sorrel seeing his hand reaching for her hopped up and punched with all her strength at his face breaking his nose causing him tis ream in pain. The second lunged and manage to grab Sorrel by the back of the neck piece of her black under armor. She wrapped her tail around his arm on instinct, the surprise of the tail gripping his arm made him let go of Sorrel, she then swung herself back and kick his gut, unfurled her tail and touched down on her feet as the third went for her tail only for Sorrel to hop back. He was caught off-guard as her back slammed into his face, the force knocking him back and off his feet, a door opened again as Sorrel turned seeing the third man two feet away holding his face as a hand grabbed her hair. The grip made her uncomfortable and she moved her hands to her head as she was razed into the air at eye level to a large man in a suit.

"Disappointing", he looked to the three downed men, "to think that you would be beat by a chil-urk!", he was cut off as Sorrel tired of the grip on her hair lunged her foot to the large mans left eye but he didn't let go. With his free hand the large man nursed his wounded eye shocking the men, they never saw him flinch, budge, or react to anything. In her irritation Sorrel went for another kick only for the man's free hand to try a grab for her leg but instead gripped her tail. Jolts of pain charged through the child as her strength ebbed away leaving her limp in his grasp, it hurt and she could barely move. She tried to swing her tiny fist only to lightly brush his arm.

The man looked to the girl an eyebrow raised, "Surprising strength and a easy to subdue, the features look familiar", he looked to the shocked men again, "load up the boxes we're taking them to the warehouse and then bringing the girl back to the boss, she might help get an annoyance out of the bosses hair." The men jumped back to their feet not wanting to anger the right hand and grabbed their pilfered merchandise loading them and driving away the large man riding in the back tail still clenched pondering how a child could be strong enough to hurt him. Sorrel however never stopped try to hit the man wanting her strength back and to find the "Cats" they scared away.

Line Break

Sylvia Long Rou was following a lead her father overlooked in the missing children case, of course he missed it because no one ever seems to ask nearby children what they may have seen, they always saw more than people thought. Sylvia saw the case files in her father's study days ago, she waited till he slept and looked at what was so important that he would bring his work home. Sylvia was good at putting pieces together, growing up with a detective father and a reporter mother taught her to see angles. The files said that children with some connection to people and nearby businesses were taken and the police questioned those related to the kids but she noticed they didn't ask the kids who knew them or were who lived nearby. All Sylvia had to do was ask the missing children's friends what they knew and two of them told her about suited men in a black car being nearby before their friends were reported missing.

Asking about a black car and men in suits lead her to a warehouse in the old industrial district. Sylvia had prepped herself to investigate, she went herself remembering her father telling her before about needing evidence of some kind for the police to take action, so she would get pictures if she could. Her phone worked for getting pictures and a hoodie could hide her face, for a weapon she took a quarterstaff her grandfather gave her from his time at a shaolin monastery. After her father left for the station Sylvia tucked her red hair into her hoodie and placed her quarterstaff in a baseball bag ready to bust some criminals.

Coming up to the warehouse Sylvia snuck around in alleys trying to stay out of sight a couple blocks from her target. She sat on a nearby roof looking for a vantage point to sneak to that would give her a clear view of what was inside, she hoped she wouldn't have to go inside. Not seeing a usable window she decide to look for something to climb in from, her eyes spotting a fire escape on the far side she could jump to from a nearby building. After she made her way to the new roof she looked around the ground below for any witnesses, find herself in the clear she took several steps back and sprinted for the edge jumping to the escape. Her hands found the metal railings stopping her decent and with little effort she hoisted herself over and squat down as she made way for the outside office door. She peaked over to see the room clear and tried the handle. Finding the door locked didn't stop her, she pulled an old credit card her father cancelled years ago and slip it into the door opening a way in.

She turned the handle slowly and pulled as gently as she could to make as little noise as possible, the door cracked open she made her way inside staying low to the ground. The office was empty bare an old desk, the door across the room had no handle. Sylvia made her way and looked through the hole, she saw no one, but could here faint glass clinks and fabric tears. She pushed the door open enough to slip through and made her way to a set of metal steps down and perched herself midway down eyes scanning the warehouse. She saw some suited men walking among rows of children, one row was wearing masks and mixing together substances, while the other row was disassembling toys and stuffed animals and reassembling them with small bags inside. Sylvia knew what this was, a sweatshop making and storing drugs, and some of the kids she saw matched the missing reports. She was angry but told herself to stay focused and pulled out her phone, tapping the camera app she started to zoom and capture images of everything from the guards to the children forced to store drugs.

Pictures taken Sylvia made her way back up the steps pausing when she heard a creaking sound below her, if she had looked further at the steps she would have notice the rust covering must of it. The creaking increased as she lunged for the railing as the steps started to fall. The metal steps clattered to the ground below catching the attention of the guards who spotted a hooded girl holding onto the railing that soon began to break and drop diagonally toward the ground. The railing stopped halfway down part of it still connected up top, creaking still heard. Sylvia cut her losses and dropped the rest of the way crouching as she hit the ground her eyes snapped to her surroundings as she locked eyes with the guards. In but a moment the men moved for her location as Sylvia turned and began to sprint to her right, a small hallway leading to a door to the loading area at the end.

When Sylvia reached the door she grabbed the handle and swung the door open grabbing it as she made her pass and pulled hard slamming it into the face of her closest pursuer. In the loading area there were various crates both old and new along with vertical door for loading trucks and a door to the side. She ran for the door only to find it locked, cursing her bad luck she turned around as one man reached for her. In an instant Sylvia slammed her palm into his chest pushing him back and nocking the air from his lungs before sliding her hand to her ball bag pulling out her quarterstaff and swinging it at the mans head. She stepped back taking a Shaolin stance waiting for her pursuers to make the first move, she'll have to fight her way out.

When one reached for their gun Sylvia reacted by throwing her quarterstaff at his hand and ran for the closest to her sweeping his legs out from under him before turning and raising her foot over his neck as he fell and bringing it down with all her strength and the momentum she built up slamming his head into the ground with enough force to knock him out. Before another could grab her she curled up and rolled backward placing her feet on the ground and springing to her feet. One man had tried to stomp where she was, Sylvia spung forward jumping toward him grabbing his head and flipping behind him catching him off guard and pulling him to the ground as she ran through the gap in the guards. As she made her way through, she grabbed her ball bag and threw it at the one trying to grab his gun distracting him while she slid under another and grabbed her thrown weapon. Once the staff was in her hands she brought it to her side as she rose to her feet and spun bringing the staff to the face of the man she slid under bringing him to the ground.

She looked to the gunman and rushed as he tried to aimed his recovered weapon, but before he could align a shot, Sylvia lunged her right arm lifting her right leg and placing it on her thigh as the quarterstaff was jabbed into the man's diaphragm between his lungs. The air painfully left his body as he fell onto his back, hands moving to clutch his stomach, gasping for air unable to take a solid breath for seconds. With her assailants down Sylvia thought to try to knock those awake unconscious, only for her to jump as the sound of a door unlocking emanated behind her.

"More?", she exclaimed turning and making a sprint towards the door as the handle began to turn. She jumped into the air quarterstaff spinning for extra force added to gravity, aimed to strike the head of the person entering the door. Her weapon landed with a load crack against the head of a large figure holding something, her mind not processing what as her quarterstaff broke to pieces, the man unmoved and somehow unharmed. Before she could touch the ground, a large hand lunged for her throat holding her over the ground, her hands reached for her neck instinctually trying to free her airway.

"Another young nuisance", he looked around the room as three men followed behind them gaping at the scene, one questioning their luck. He locked eyes at Sylvia, recognition reaching in his eyes, "and this one of near equal value." His words registered in Sylvia's mind as here eyes moved to his other hand, widening at the near limp visage of a young monkey tailed girl.

'Another Wukong, are they siblings?', concern found its way to her thoughts. 'If they are related what are they going to do to her or her brother?', fright washed over her, not from her predicament but from the thought of what may happen to her father and the monkey tailed children now.

The large man now felt a spike of anger now, realizing that operation will be halted. The thought of the problems sprouting up for his boss quelled slightly by the captives and what they could net his master. He owed his life to the man and would do what he could to protect his assets. He looked to the men behind him, "Help them up and gather the product and the workers, this location is compromised", he looked back to the captives, "we're packing up and returning to the base", he turned to walk out the door. "Bring rope and a vice when you are done", he turned back, a single narrowed eye locked onto one mans, "you have 15 minutes", he began to leave the warehouse, the door closing. "Do not make me wait."

AN- For this chapter I wanted to focus on two others as we build up to the first crime lord our hero will face, he's running on empty and its coming to bite him. As for Sylvia I wanted to show a human character that could fight without super powers and be a sort of contrast to how a Saiyan and human would fight, Ramp is powerful and has skill born from a type of combat learning as he goes and finding out what works best, while Sylvia has a degree of strength and fights with practiced skill and precision. Her style is based loosely on Shaolin but she only has the basics her grandfather taught her, I went with this because of a youtuber who explained his experience of his time living in a monastery and how his training went along with functions of monastic life, he added pictures and videos as proof and it caught my interest, I developed a more appreciation for martial arts and learned bits of how shaolin looks and can understand some parts of it, he went into detail of the martial art and while I don't know it myself I'll try represent it as best as I can in any story.

Thank you for reading and please review, even a single review motivates me to write more.

And a Special thanks to CompareDread12 for helping me come up with some awesome ideas later down the line and for something I'll reveal later when it happens, it'll be around ch 7 or 8 and it will build up to an arc in the future.
