Perennial
Chapter two
After waking sometime later with looking at the time on the clock wall of their hotel room. It was still light out having spent some two hours from their sex. Olivia was first to wake feeling sore in areas that she could never imagine. Placing on her robe to head into the shower quickly. She wasn't going to go into an casino smelling like a two bit hooker. Even though her mind was on the shooting earlier and the tattoo.
Just before she was moving off the bed. Her husband had stopped her for a moment asking for a quick kiss and with joining her in the shower to save time and promising no fooling around. And for which she didn't a word of it.
Once inside with being separated with washing and cleaning their bodies. He was good and wanting to get to the casino to play the blackjack tables while Olivia loved the slot machines. She had picked out a slinky black dress to have any male give her a second look and including her husband. She needed to be sure to place her small revolver inside her black purse along with her cash and credit cards. She had placed her long curly black hair into a bun in order to keep it out of her face.
Elliot Stabler had on his blue suit to bring out his eyes for the most part with his small revolver in his pants pocket after today on the beach. He had splash on his cologne with Olivia doing a double take with her senses.
Otherwise the both of them were ready to leave for the casino some five miles down the road. Hopefully it won't be busy for a Monday evening. They had heard great word about the place even though recently one of the workers was arrested for cheating and the F.B.I. was looking into further cheating.
It was still warm for the early evening since they didn't need to wear a coat of any kind. Though they could be visiting the beach later for a late night swim and why the towels were brought along with the bottles of water and protein bars.
The valet had parked their rented car while Olivia and Elliot walked inside the lobby of the casino. Olivia already had her eye on the Blazing Sevens slots that only cost two cents. However the more you put into the machine. The better the odds of winning...
"Elliot I am going to be playing this machine and others depending on I am going to be doing. Where will you be?" She had to asked.
"Blackjack tables. Maybe I might get lucky this evening?" He said with Olivia telling him that he had already gotten lucky with her and being on the honeymoon. He smiled with wishing her the best with the machines.
She found a seat on one of the machines with asking the waitress for a drink while she placed a twenty dollar bill with betting $1.00 when the blazing sevens came up to have her hit $100.00 on the first shot. She was thrilled with her pressing for the ticket to used for a special occasion and placing it in her purse. Afterwards she will win a little lose some until 30 minutes she will play another $20.00 dollar bill and taking the chance with betting big on the same machine to have her hearing the bells go off telling her that she had won $20,000 and the security officers asking for her I.D. and to bring her over to the redemption window.
She wasn't going to play anymore with them asking how she wanted the money. "I would like to have half on this account and half in $1,000 bills if possible." After her I.D. and Social Security card was checked and verified with being a police captain in the states. They were able to process her request in twenty minutes with the money into her debit card to use and the money into an envelope and her purse.
"Thank you Mrs. Stabler. I do hope you will be able to come back to the casino and spend some of your winnings?" The manager had said to her heading inside to the main section looking for her husband at the blackjack table. She found him with a drink next to him and a pile of chips next to him indicating that he was winning.
"Hey!" He said trying not to talk during the game. When the dealer had moved his arm with the poker to remove the chips. Olivia had noticed his wrist and she needed to be sure without saying something to her husband. She watched him win the hand with blackjack while the dealer was losing. There were two others at the table winning as well. She sat as the waitress came over asking on anyone wanted drinks. Everyone said yes to the question along with the dealer. Though he's not supposed to be drinking on the job.
Elliot went with his scotch again and Olivia with the bourbon. She needed to keep watching as the dealer Gordi Limski with his name on the tag. After the next round with the dealing of cards. Once again she was able to noticed the tattoo. This time she finished her drink to play one of the slots behind them with using some of the money she won.
Elliot looked back for his wife to see her playing and she was waving him over when finished. He was going to turn in his chips for $10,000 in winnings. After he was done with turning in the chips and with showing his badge and I.D. along with his social security card. He placed half of the winnings into his savings accounts and the other half to spend in cash and a envelope.
He found her sitting at the machine. "Did you win earlier?" He said in her ear with the noise.
"$20,000 dollars. The reason I called you over was to say that the dealer had a tattoo with the tiger claw on his wrist. I am wondering if he was involved in the shooting or there is some type of group with the same tattoo?"
"Good question. We will need to call Captain Aluni Wong and let him know our suspicious on the tattoo. By the way I just won $10,000 playing cards cheating. Though the dealer differently was doing the same with the waitress giving him signals. I will make mention of this as will. Let me call him before heading upstairs to the buffet and than the beach."
"Yummy! I am hungry after today. And with more of the same with the beach." Olivia said with a smirk on her face...
Moments later outside of the casino with Elliot had called Captain Wong at home. "Yeah I am sure the dealer was cheating as with the waitress tipping him off. As for the dealer itself. My wife said she was the tattoo on his wrist a few times. Is it possible Captain that he might be the dealer?"
"Possible. We will keep an eye out on him with sending in an undercover officer. Hopefully before the both of you leave back to the states that we might be making an arrest to the shooting. If you're going back to the casino please be sure to keep any eye out." Captain Wong replied with his wife coming into the living area with dinner.
"I will be sure to Captain. Thank you for listening and good night." Elliot said with ending the conversation with his wife buying a pretzel from one of the vendors. She broke it into half to share with him and a smile. "Shall we head back inside and the buffet?"
"Let's eat this first before going inside." She said with biting into her pretzel filled with the salt.
