"Check it! Heya Princess!"

A girl popped out from under the table, her hand close to her forehead, doing a rock and roll sign. She had white hair cut into a bob, with a large bun at the top. There was a red streak going through the left part and a pair of glasses sat on top of her bun. She had tan skin with brown eyes, her eyelids colored red. Her costume comprised of a dress with a white petticoat on top, where the ruffles were dual coloured in red and blue. She held a Sheikah Slate in her other hand, beaming at the two guests.

"Hello Lady Purah. Say...you look different."

Zelda looked at awe at Purah's appearance. She remembered Purah looking like this 100 years ago, when she would conspire with her and Robbie. Her hair was in a short bob, the front of her kept by two blue clips, shaped as triangles. She had light skin with beautiful green eyes, which were wide at the moment. Her costume consisted of a blue top with a white cut starting from below her chest, down to her hips. There was a brown piece of fabric tied around her waist and her top had the Triforce embedded into the fabric, signaling her royalty. Purah giggled, putting her hand down.

"Oh! That's because I finally got my aging rune to work! I'm in my 20's now!"

"That's amazing! The amount of things we could do with this technology!"

Purah smiled brightly, putting both her hands close to her head, in the rock and roll sign. Finally, after all this time, she actually got the rune to work. And hearing praise from anyone always made her smile. "Who's this cutie over here?" Purah asked in curiosity, looking over at her companion. The white hair tied up into a bow shaped bun at the top and hair flowing on her back. The front was cut into bangs with two large strands on either side, tied with a ribbon. Her tan skin and nervous smile as she looked at Purah. She looked just like Impa when she was younger, Purah remarked.

"I..I'm Paya."

"Paya? Oh! You're Impa's granddaughter! I've heard many things about you, like how you were named Paya because you have a Papaya shaped birthmark on your left-"

"Stop right there! It's embarrassing enough!" Paya covered her face with her hands, embarrassed to the point of no return. She didn't want anyone to know where it was, but her grandma would blab it to everyone! Paya's birthmark was on her left butt cheek, which made it very awkward whenever someone asked her. She always avoided the subject or even ran at one point. But, now she was somewhat okay with it, although she hated when someone said it.

Link was waiting outside for Zelda and Impa, but Robbie ushered him inside, with him saying something along the lines of doing an experiment. He was at the Hateno Ancient Research Lab on a work visit, helping out Purah with her runes. Zelda turned her head towards him and smiled, although she wondered why he was inside. Link gave a curt smile back, his eyebrow raising at the scene unfolding in front of him. Although he rarely spoke, he still had emotions.

"Okay, I'm sorrry! Oh yeah! I wanted to show you something on the Sheikah Slate!" Purah apologised, clapping her hands together, closing one eye. She then turned on the slate and started clicking the screen, until she found what she wanted. She walked towards the trio, not before tripping on a bomb on the floor. Looks like that someone forgot to clean up after using the Remote Bomb Rune. She hit the floor with a thump, the slate flying out of her hands.

"The slate!"

It was as if time was in slow motion. Zelda ran and caught the slate, feeling vibrations coming from it. She cocked her head to the side. "Is it meant to be shaking?" She asked, as the vibrations increased in power. She struggled to keep a handle on it, as Link braced himself, pushing himself in front of Zelda. A bright light came out of it and spread throughout the room. All were blinded at the sight, and when they could see again, they could only blink. During those long seconds of blindness, Link felt...off. As if something changed.

Purah ran to Zelda, taking the Slate off her. She intensely tried to turn on the slate, to see what the heck happened. Purah was quite sure she clicked the right rune, at least she thought so. Maybe her brain regressed? She needs to note this down. But after she gets this thing on. She shook her head at the blank screen. The slate's power was offline, and she sighed. Looks like that rune took out all its power.

"Looks like we activated something. But I have no idea what it is! I'll have to check it out after I get this slate back online." She then yelled for Robbie to get in here. Robbie then rushed in. Robbie, unlike Purah, was short and older. After she finished the aging rune, she offered for him to use it, but he refused. He said that he didn't want to become a failed experiment and he liked being old.

"Robbie!" She started, throwing it at him. "Can you get this working again? We need to start analyzing it! Some giant light came out of the Sheikah Slate and the slate turned off."

"What? Is it the same light that affected me? How interesting..." He said as he caught the slate, looking at it intensely. "Looks like we got ourselves a mystery. A BIG MYSTERY!"

"Huh? You were outside, right? That means...how far did it travel?!" Purah yelled, then turned to the trio. "I'm sorry you three, looks like my presentation will have to wait."

"Can you work out what it is?" Paya asked, and Purah nodded. She couldn't help but smile at Paya. Maybe she should fix the unageing rune and use it on Impa.

"Of course! Leave it to me and Robbie! We'll get it analysed faster than you can say slate!"

Is anyone getting Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity? I'm totally getting it! I love playing as Impa and Zelda in the demo (which I have over 5 hours on hahaha). I really want to play as the calm Mipha!

Thank you once again!
