(A/N: Hey guys! Here's chapter 2! Uh, keep in mind that I am a raging highschooler (unfortunately) so if I lag a little on the chapters, that's my fault, but this story actually has one of my biggest interests so hopefully I'll get to it.) But I hope you guys enjoy this chapter! A little fluffy and here is where the plot actually starts to take place,)

All staff and players of the KHS football team may be excused from their classes. Everybody, wish the Konoha football team luck against the Suna High!

Sarada packed up her notebooks and pens in her backpack as she stood up and showed her 6th period teacher her Athletic Trainer ID.

"Hey Sarada-chan, make sure none of the boys break themselves too hard." Konohamaru-sensei called out to her, while the rest of the class snickered.

"Can't promise that Sensei." Sarada snickered as she left her classroom. She headed to the attendance office to be excused, where she knew the rest of the staff and team would meet up. She'd be excused from her 6th and 7th period, which was actually pretty relieving to her. Her 7th period was an elective, Theatre, so there were a lot of rowdy athletes in there who needed another elective to fill their schedule, aka Boruto. That was the class she dreaded the most. Most of the girls in there basically dripped over him and always gave HER dirty looks for no reason. Other than that singular class, none of the dirty looks and rumors towards her were that pungent.

"Hey Cho!" Sarada called out as she saw her friend walking towards the attendance office.

"Sarada! I was looking for you!"

"Sorry, sorry, I got held up 'cuz I had to stop by the clubs." Sarada huffed and rolled her eyes. They both continued walking to the bathroom near the attendance office to change into their AT shirts. Luckily, KHS had a sense of style and had a variety of different types of shirts the staff could wear. Cho-cho stayed in her skinny black jeans, folding her shirt up to make it cropped, paired with her Vans. Sarada wore biker shorts, her KHS AT sweatshirt, and her hightop converse.

They both walked out of the bathroom, into the main office where all the boys were standing and waiting.

"Hey, Cho-cho! Hey Sarada!"

"Oh hey Inojin, Iwabee!"

"Heya," The old friends greeted each other, even though they just saw each other at lunch. "So, how well do you think you guys are gonna do?" Sarada challenged, like her usual self.

Being old friends however, Inojin caught on, "Mmmm. Might have to break myself on purpose to get you to fix me, Sara-channn." He was well aware of how much Sarada despised to be fanboy-ed over, much less teased about it. She rolled her eyes, smiling, and pushed her way through them, Cho-Cho following. She eventually found her dad and Uncle Naruto within the group of boys.

"Hey dad, me and Cho are gonna go put our stuff in the car."

"Alright."

They both walked outside, talking about their school day so far.

"Ugh! Yeah, I'm just glad I got to skip 7th period.I mean honestly! I cannot handle being in there. Everybody is so loud and there really is no point of me being in there and not to mention the dobe's fangirls always interrupting me to-"

Cho-cho giggled, "Well, speak of the devil."

And if it were just some cruel joke, there the dobe was, leaning on his Mustang, talking to Shikadai. Why, why did he have to park next to my car? Of course, Sarada just tried to nonchalantly walk her way by, no need for interactio-

"Oh hey Cho! Teme."

"Urastonakachi."

Cho-cho and Shikadai shared a look, before cracking up. Boruto rolled his eyes.

"Boruto, try not to get too riled up out there. We don't need you getting hurt and Sarada having to fix you up. Pfft, we'd have a hoard on fan boys and girls at the door." Shikadai almost spit out the water he was drinking. Sarada froze while she was still rummaging in her car, and Cho-cho wheezed at how tense Boruto got.

"I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Anyways, we'd better go before we miss the bus."

"Alright- tch, just give me a sec I needa find my charger."

Shikadai and Chocho walked off, and Boruto followed them a second after.

"Alright team, now we've played against Suna before, and we all know that their tactic is to slowly and steadily wear their opponents down, hence the sand namesake." Naruto started.

Sasuke spoke up after, "You guys have great stamina, but your overall mental strength seems to wear down when you get frustrated. You might want to keep that in mind before you go out there. Now here's how we're gonna start."

Normally, staff weren't allowed into the locker rooms when the team's in there. But since it was only the pregame huddle, Cho-cho and Sarada were prepping in case of any injuries that they had to deal with. They both laid out medical supplies on the exam tables. Usually, the AT's would stay on standby in the med-bay, but Sarada always insisted on watching the players, so that she could get a better evaluation on the injury if she knew how it happened.

"KONOHA!" Chocho let out a yelped as Sarada slightly flinched as well.

Cho-cho giggled as Sarada huffed and pushed her glasses up, "Do they always have to be that loud?"

"I mean, how else are we supposed to get these idiots hyped?Even though it's a drag," Shikadai said, coming up to the girls, holding out his wrist.

Cho-cho gave him a condensing look, while Sarada began wrapping his wrist.

"Now now Shikadai, careful, Sarada's fanboys are outside waiting for her, don't keep her too long." Boruto said, when it was just the 4 friends in the locker room.

"Aw but Boruto, your girls are gonna end up foaming their mouths if you don't get out there soon." She said, flipping him off to add extra 'umph' to her point when she finished wrapping Shikadai's wrist.

"You're right, it's wrong of me to keep the ladies waiting." And with that he winked. Sarada rolled her eyes as she followed him out of the locker room. And sure enough, as soon as they stepped out, shrieks and squeals were heard as well as whistles. Some girls were holding up signs with Boruto's number, as he stopped to flirt.

Sasuke noticed this, giving the remaining three a look. Shikadai and Sarada rolled their eyes, and Cho-cho giggled.

"Come on Boruto, we gotta warm up."

"Let's go dobe." The two said as they tore him away from the gate next to the bleachers.

"Don't worry girls, he'll be up for commission after his game." Cho-cho giggled.

"Sarada! Can you tell Naruto and Sasuke to follow me on instagram?" Sarada rolled her eyes harder than she ever has at this comment. Boruto noticed this as well, scoffing at the boys in the bleacher harder than ever.

"Don't get too cocky Boruto! Thank your dad for all of this." Boruto turned around at this comment, ready to pounce. But, being as they've both been in this situation before, Sarada stopped him, placing her hands on her chest.

He looked down at her, "Boruto, go. It's not worth it."

As much as Naruto and Sasuke were known for being the well-rounded coaches of the succeeding team for Konoha High, they were also football players themselves. Konoha High and University's famous alumni. That's how they became friends of course, rivaling each other in football ever since elementary school. Not to mention Uchiwa Corps and Hyuga Ent.'s projects together. Her Uncle Itachi was the reason why Naruto came to meet Hinata anyways.

Not to mention Auntie Ino, Uncle Sai, Uncle Shikamaru, Uncle Choji, Aunt TenTen, Uncle Neji, the list goes on, stemming from the University. The moms always laughed and went on to the kids about their days watching the dads play football. It got old, really. Konoha was big, it held some really big names to it too.

Sarada, being her independent self, worked hard on her own. Not letting her dad or mom cover her own success. She built up all the success she worked for from the ground. Even though they didn't show it, Sarada knew Boruto well, and vice versa. And she knew well that Boruto worked harder than anyone she knew to separate his dad's name from his. Hell, their dads' rivalries and closeness affected them more than anybody knew.

Warm-ups went on, as she and Cho-cho chatted about the shameless fangirls and the asshole boys in the crowd.

"Sometimes, I wonder if people only wanna be friends with us or even date us because of our parents." Sarada sighed.

Cho-cho looked into the crowd, at her dad, "Remember that dude I dated 4 months ago?"

"Ray?"

"Yeah...I let him into the house, he begged for dad's autograph, then dumped me." Sarada just nodded to this. She's heard stories like this before. Every one of their friends went through this. It was amazingly ridiculous.

The game was actually pretty stressful, to say the least. It actually had Sarada chewing on the inside of her cheeks. Amazingly, none of the boys got hurt, but their exhaustion was serious. In the end, they won, of course, but barely. Boruto, being the prodigy he is, made the winning throw to Shikadai, him running through the end line. The weekend went by like a blast. Sarada had tons of assignments to do, not to mention the amount of clubs and homecoming to prepare for.

She walked into the coffee shop, Cho-cho wheezing, "Sarada girl, you look…"

Sarada held up a finger, "I know. Do not continue that sentence."

Cho-cho shook her head as they got their morning coffees. The day actually went by fairly quickly. In her 6th period, Sarada was handed a note by a student-advisor and her teacher was handed a matching note.

Sarada Uchiha is requested by Mr. Uchiha.

Sarada was dismissed from class, thankfully, and she headed towards her dad's office at the main hall. Uncle Naruto was still a teacher as much as he was a coach, but her dad was the Activities Director. So, this couldn't be for football, right? Her sixth period was almost over anyways, meaning her final and most annoying class would start in a bit, so hopefully this wouldn't take that long.

She walked into her dad's office, "Hey dad-" She stopped when she saw Boruto already there. She shot him a glare, as he gave one back. The bell rang as the two sat, meaning that they were probably going to be late for their next class.

"Hey sweets, sit." She sat on the farthest point of the couch as Boruto, "So, Boruto being the football captain and you being the student body president, and homecoming coming up in 2 weeks was it?" Sarada nodded, "You two are going to have to collaborate on how you want the homecoming game and dance going. Things like what time works, if you want the team mentioned, things like that. Sarada, discuss this with ASB, and Boruto we'll talk more about it during practice." Sasuke went on about the things that they needed to consider when talking about the Homecoming game.

The bell rang as Sarada and Boruto made to get up, Sasuke writing them late passes,"Oh yeah and Boruto, Naruto said to get Himawari McDonalds before you go home."

Sarada snorted and wheezed as Boruto flicked her head when they exited the office.

"You see the newspaper?" She asked finally.

Boruto grinned, "Yeah, you enjoy the view of my face on there?"

"Hah! You know what I meant."

Boruto grimmed, used to the instance, "Pfft yeah. Always talking 'bout our dads like they're some gods or somethin',"

Sarada shook her head, "Not to mention those shameless fangirls cheering loud as hell for no reason."

"Aw Sara-chan, I would've liked to hear you cheering for me." Boruto's grin came back.

"You wish, dobe."

The two continued to bicker as they walked to their class. They knocked on the door when they got to their room, as a feigning fangirl opened for them. She cooed over Boruto as he shot a wink towards her. They walked to the front, handing Shino-Sensei their passes and sat down.

"Ah there you two are!" Shino began, "Well to start off, at the end of class on Friday, we discussed our year-long drama partners! We work with them when we need to do line readings and other projects of that sort. We'll be with them the whole year, so we all need to be as comfortable with them as possible. Eh…" Shino looked down at his roster, "since Boruto-kun and Sarada-chan were the only ones to miss seventh period on that day, you two will be drama partners for the year!"

Sarada stilled and Boruto tensed.

"Oh you've gotta be shitting me."

"You have got to be shitting me."
