"I got a big one!" Yu said while reeling his line. Unfortunately, It snapped. Yu then looked defeated.

"Just try again," Ren said.

"Yeah. That line wasn't cheap, though." Yu nodded back.

"What can you do?" Ren shrugged.

"Exactly."

Yu went to fix his line when his phone went off. He looked at it and then put it away.

"What was it?" Ren asked.

"Oh, some of my friends can't come over for the weekend as we planned. That's all." Yu looked defeated again, for some reason.

"You still look down."

"Well...I'm not sure how to put this... But sometimes I just...tense up at the thought of being abandoned. My thoughts about that can sometimes spiral out of control."

"Maybe you should get that checked out. I don't think that's normal."

"Even if it isn't, I'm stuck living like this. I'm deeply terrified of being left behind. And I don't know why. It's stupid. I help solve crimes, yet can't figure out what's wrong with me." Yu faced the water, putting down his fishing gear. "It's true I'm not alone. I have a lot of friends... but why... Why? Why do I live with that constant fear? The fear of others leaving me?"

Yu shook his head. "Sorry, Ren. I shouldn't have broken down in front of you like that. I know we hang out all..but..."

"You should REALLY get that checked out," Ren replied.

Yu's phone then went off. He pulled it out.

"Yu Narukami speaking. Well, I can't be sure, this is my work phone. Ah..okay. I'll be over there."

Yu turned to Ren. " That was one of our agents, Naoto. I need to head to work. And yes, before you ask, that Naoto. First detective prince. We know each other from high school"

"That's neat."

"You're not like other people, are you? Most people freak out when I tell them that." Yu smiled gently.

"Well, I'm not most people."

"And I'm Glad."
