Okay everyone, I know I said I wouldn't do any new stories. Yes, you are right about that and I'm sorry that I lied to you guys. But during these hard times with Covid-19 going on, I have literally got not much to do. I did a online course about a month ago and there has been some redecorating done in my house. Except for that, not much has happened here. Let us have a moment's silence for those who have suffered from the coronovirus...

So onto the story. This story was a random dream I had about a couple of months ago and I had to write it down somewhere. Once again, this will be another OC Aero story, however there is one thing to mention. There will be no mention of Sonic characters or anything from the Sonic universe mentioned in this story. This will be a pure Land Before Time story with a random OC character in it. Hopefully you understand that. These chapters will be mainly based on the storylines of each of the movies, starting with the name of this chapter! :) I will continue with Roxas in GX, but I rather just take my time now. I'm more of a reader than a writer now, maybe reviewing stories too.

Please read and enjoy!

Chapter 1 - The Stone of Cold Fire

Darkness and blue flames. That's what the creature saw. The blue flames occasionally split onto the creature's fur, burning small patches over its body. The creature patted the flames to try and stop them from spreading all over its body. It worked, but to some extent as the flames kept coming and continued to burn patches of its fur. The creature grabbed what it was wearing on its head and pulled it down to cover its eyes. It was circular and coloured both grey and dark blue.

It felt like for what seemed like an hour to the creature. Patting the blue flames and hitting the surface of what seems like a solid hot rock. The creature wanted this to end, it was in too much pain. The stone seemed to have ended the creature's pain as the rock collided to the ground, giving the creature one final hit. The hit was powerful for the creature as it wasn't moving after the impact. The circular object the creature was wearing on its eyes had one its lenses cracked and was now unconsious and breathing slowly.

Two days later...

The creature in the stone seemed to have healed a little, as the patches of burned fur slowly grew back. However, the burns were still there. The creature heard some noises outside, but its senses were jumbled up or broken to hear them. There was a voice nearby, but the creature only heard mumbling and it felt the ground shaking, as if there was an earthquake nearby. The creature was so knocked out that it didn't realise that there was something in its right hand. It was long and it glowed white.

Outside the stone, a group of small dinosaurs and flyers were watching an orange flyer chanting at the blue coloured stone. "Oh great Stone of Cold Fire..." The ground shook and surprised the group of small dinosaurs. The small group of dinosaurs consisted of a longneck, a threehorn, a spiketail, a swimmer and a flyer. They all wobbed until it stopped shaking, the threehorn shouted out, "What was that?" The longneck widened its eyes at the stone. "Maybe the Stone of Cold Fire really is magical!"

The orange flyer had its arms in the air as it thought the blue stone was a deity. "Oh great Stone of Cold Fire, with your magical powers, I will lead this valley as its ruler. Please bestow your powers to me". With one of its fingers, the orange flyer touched the surface of the stone. "There. I touched the stone and it was cool to the touch". It seemed that whatever the orange flyer was trying to do to the blue rock wasn't working. However, there seemed to be some progress with a certain dinosaur.

The longneck was staring at the stone as the orange flyer was chanting to it, but after the chants, the longneck heard a voice. "Touch the stone, longneck". The longneck looked at its friends, checking to see if they were the ones who talked. None of its friends did and looking confused, it looked back at the rock. The voice spoke again. "Please, touch the rock young one. A treasure will be bestowed upon you". The longneck widened its eyes at the blue stone. 'Is the stone...talking to me?' The longneck was in a trance as it walked slowly towards the blue stone.

"Littlefoot?" The threehorn added in to what the swimmer said. "Littlefoot! What are you doing?" The longneck known as Littlefoot didn't hear his friends and got really close to the stone. 'Place your foot on the stone and you will awaken your treasure'. Littlefoot listened to the voice and did as instructed. Littlefoot placed his front right foot on the stone.

Inside the stone, the creature felt different, but in a good way. The creature felt like it just recieved some form of boost. It lifted its head and opened its eyes slightly. However, the boost increased and seemed to have awaken the creature more as its eyes were fully open and looked down at the glowing object. 'Is my sword helping me?' The creature looked around where it was, trying to find any weak spots to break through.

It couldn't find any and sighed in disappointment. 'Is there no way out? Where am I anyway?' Then, the creature stopped moving and stared down at the glowing object it was holding. 'Now I know what to do... Time to blast my way out of here'. The creature crossed its arms in front of it and glowed a little red as it concentrated on its energy. It closed its eyes with concentration and with enough energy to disperse, it was ready to make a blast.

Littlefoot heard the voice that called him once more. 'Stand back!' Littlefoot seemed to snap out of his trance as he ran back to his friends and went behind them. "Littlefoot! What are you doing? We have to get out of here!" Littlefoot looked at his friends and everyone was getting shaky as the earthquakes were getting worse. It was bad for the swimmer as it couldn't hold on to the spiketail and fell to the edge of the mountain. It managed to grab onto the edge, but is struggling to get back up.

The orange flyer looked at the swimmer and it had a sense of déjà vu as it remembered a vision of its past. The flyer imagined that swimmer was a lot older, an adult swimmer holding on for its life. The vision was back to normal and the swimmer lost its grip, falling off the edge. "Ducky!" The swimmer known as Ducky screamed as she fell, however it wasn't long until the orange flyer swooped down and she fell onto the flyer's back. The orange flyer went up back to the top of the mountain. "See? Pterano may have done bad things, but he's a good guy on the inside".

Ducky went back onto the spiketail's back, however, her sights went back to the stone. It wasn't just her, everyone except two flyers that were with Pterano were staring at the stone as its blue colour was getting darker. "What's happening?" They all stepped back a couple of steps away from the stone. The stone became red and two words seem to come out of the stone. "Chaos Blast!" The stone exploded into pieces and the two flyers that were whacking it, blasted far away from the mountain.

Everyone gasped at what remained of the stone. There was a creature, a dinosaur they never seen before staring at them or they thought. The creature seemed to be weak as it looked exhausted and almost shut its eyes. The creature fell forward, hitting the ground and the object it was holding, flashed white and disappeared. The dinosaurs went close to the creature, but gave enough room. "Wha-? Who is this?" Littlefoot looked at who asked the question. "I have no idea Cera, but we can't stay here. Threehorn Peak is about to erupt!" The earthquakes were getting more and more violent and lava was erupting out from the newly made cracks in the earth. A duo of flyers arrived to help at the peak and they both, including Pterano rescued all the dinosaurs, including the strange creature.

Great Valley - Night

The creature didn't know how long it was out for. It was really exhausted and most of its body was damaged by the flames. The creature had enough energy to move the circular object that was covering its eyes, it moved the circular object to the top of its head. "D-don't move young one, you're still healing". The creature had its eyes open, revealing light blue coloured irises and moved its head to look at the speaker. "W-who?" The voice the creature had was young and mascaline, it looked up at the speaker and was pretty surprised at how tall it was. "A-a dinosaur?" The helpful dinosaur bent its neck down to get its head closer to the creature. "You may call me Grandpa Longneck. My grandson Littlefoot and his friends found you at Threehorn Peak and me and Littlefoot have healed you the best we could".

The creature seemed surprised. "You have a grandson?" Grandpa Longneck nodded his head. The creature smiled at the longneck. "You're lucky to have him... I'm all alone myself, but I have a lot friends back home". The creature felt sad as it quickly realised that it was a long way from home. The longneck looked a little sad for the creature, but seemed to have brighten the mood. "Why don't you sleep with us young one? Littlefoot would be happy to see you, he was worried that you wouldn't wake up". The creature looked at the ground in thought. 'This dinosaur and his grandson has done nothing but help me. I guess it might be best if I do spend the night at a safe place...' The creature smiled at the longneck. "That would be great, thanks. I'm Aero".

The longneck nuzzled his head at Aero gently. "Would you like to sleep with us tonight?" Aero nodded and used his hands to support himself and with his strength, managed to stand on his two feet. "Are you okay?" Aero managed to stand, but after two steps when walking, he was about to fall to the ground again. However, Grandpa Longneck used his reflexes to catch the mysterious creature and Aero laid on top of the longneck's head.

Aero laughed a little. "You weren't kidding Gramps..." Aero looked up a little. "Is it alright to call you Gramps?" Grandpa Longneck smiled, but kept his head still. "Well, I wouldn't mind it at all, young one. Climb on top of my head, I'll walk you to our nest". Aero looked a little concerned. "Are you sure? Would doing that hurt your head?" Grandpa Longneck chuckled. "Nonsense! You're our guest! Besides, you're a lot lighter than my grandson when he was a hatchling". Aero seemed to feel less bad as he got on top of the elderly longneck's head. "Well, if you insist". Aero made sure he was secure enough to not fall off said. "Okay, I'm on top now. Lead the... way".

As the elderly longneck moved his head up in the right position for his posture, Aero looked stunned and was amazed at the scenery around him. Where the elderly longneck was standing, there were many green fields. Some plain and some that had planted trees, trees that looked odd to Aero. He has never seen these plants and trees back where he came from. Not only that, but there were mud pools, small lakes and tall waterfalls. "Is something wrong, Aero?" Aero felt that he was in a trance as he shook his head lightly. "N-no no, it's just... this place is beautiful. Where are we anyway?" Grandpa Longneck started walking as he answered the question. "We're in the Great Valley, a safe home for all of us who want to escape the Mysterious Beyond".

Aero absorbed the information that was being given. "Mysterious Beyond?" Grandpa Longneck frowned as he explained. "The Mysterious Beyond is full of danger with sharpteeth and harsh weathered places". Aero didn't know why the elderly dinosaur said 'sharpteeth' instead of predators or carnivores. Maybe this was what the local dinosaurs call them. 'Sharpteeth seems like a better name anyway, I'll go for that'. "Sharpteeth? That's what you call them? I call them by a different name where I come from". Gramps looked up. "Oh, and where might that be?"

"Umm..." What shoud he say? "I come from a place further than the Mysterious Beyond, but please don't be alarmed. I'm not a sharptooth".

It seemed to have caused some alarm to the elderly longneck. "Beyond the Mysterious Beyond? Are you friends with the rainbow faces?" Aero got confused. "Rainbow faces? I don't know any rainbow faces". Aero yawned and became surprised. How tired was he? "Maybe.. I'll talk in the morning..." Grandpa Longneck smiled. "Stay awake for a little bit longer, we're almost at our nest now". Aero looked sleepy, but did as Grandpa Longneck suggested and tried to stay awake. "Grandpa!" Aero looked down at who said that. He moved a little to see what was below, but careful to stay on the head and not fall off.

What Aero saw was a small light brown dinosaur with a long neck, about half the size of Gramps' foot. The elderly longneck bent down his neck slowly, so that his head was laid on the grass covered dirt. "Littlefoot, I would like you to meet Aero. He's a bit tired to talk now, but he'll be sleeping with you tonight. Could you help him to your sleeping spot?" Littlefoot nodded. "Okay, Grandpa". Aero slid down the side of Grandpa Longneck's head and got close to Littlefoot to hold onto him. "So you're his grandson? I can see where you got your looks from". Grandpa Longneck raised his head to a comfortable height and walked towards a hill, Littlefoot followed his grandfather, but kept it slow enough for Aero's comfort.

Aero yawned once more. Littlefoot smiled at Aero. "Don't worry, we're almost home". As they both reached the top of the hill, they noticed another longneck that looked similiar to Grandpa Longneck. However, instead of a blue-ish grey underbelly, this longneck has a peach underbelly. Aero looked at Littlefoot for answers. Littlefoot introduced Aero to the other longneck. "That's my Grandma". Aero looked a little surprised as he concluded, "Just your grandparents? What about parents?" Littlefoot looked a little down. "My mom is gone, she got attacked by a sharptooth. I never met my dad, just my grandparents and my mom".

Aero gasped a little. "I'm so sorry". Littlefoot shook his head. "Hey, don't worry". Both Littlefoot and Aero walked towards a small round dome dent near a much bigger dome dent. "Goodnight Littlefoot". Grandma Longneck nuzzled her grandson, followed by his grandfather. "Goodnight Grandma, goodnight Grandpa". Littlefoot nuzzled them both and curled his body into the small dome dent. The grandparents did the same, however, Grandpa Longneck still had his head and neck up and looked at Aero.

"Just one night and my grandson already likes you. Would you mind playing with him when the bright circle is up?" Aero looked up at Gramps. 'Bright Circle? Is that the sun? Does he mean play with Littlefoot in the morning?' Aero looked at the small longneck with a smile. "I got a feeling I do too..." Aero looked back at Gramps. "Sure, but after I've had some breakfast". Aero made himself comfortable and added, "Night Gramps". Aero shut his eyes soon after, but before he was sent to the state of unconciousness, he heard Gramps say, "Goodnight Aero".

As the Bright Circle risen above the edge of the valley, the valley was welcomed by the sunrays of the Bright Circle, warming up the cool night air. The grandparents were the first to be up, but not Aero and Littlefoot. They both smiled at the sleeping duo, finding it adorable to look at. They had to soon lose that adorable sight as they gave the duo at gentle nudge. Aero grunted and squinted his eyes. "Is it morning already?" Aero opened his eyes a bit more and added, "Must've slept like a log". Aero stood up and got his arms straight up, giving them a stretch.

Littlefoot uncurled himself and was a little unsteady at first, but stood his four legs up. "Slept like a log? Logs don't sleep".Aero laughed. "Yeah, that's the point I'm making. I slept really well". A voice above them asked, "How about some breakfast you two?" Littlefoot jumped at that idea his Grandma said. "Yeah! Let's get some food, Aero! I know the perfect place to eat!" Littlefoot started running towards a waterfall that Aero saw last night. Aero soon followed, realising where Littlefoot was going. "Right behind you".

As the duo arrived by the waterfall, Aero got down to his knees near the edge of the water pool the waterfall made. Aero pulled his gloves that he wore, which were dark-grey in colour and he cupped his hands to collect as much water as he could. He drank a couple of handfills of water, before getting the last handful to splash his face. Aero stood up and looked at Littlefoot's direction, he was biting into these star-shaped leaves. Aero went close to Littlefoot curious at what he was eating and picked a star-shaped leaf. "Never seen these, what are they called?"

Littlefoot finished his mouthful of food to answer the question. "They're treestars! My favourite!" Littlefoot munched another mouthful of treestars and Aero picked three individual leaves and looked at them. 'I guess it wouldn't hurt to try...' Aero grabbed one of the three treestars and ate it. Aero chewed for what seemed like minutes, but he eventually swallowed it. "So, how is it?" Aero looked at Littlefoot and answered. "It's okay, but I think it needs more moisture". Aero went to where he was before at the waterfall as Littlefoot asked, "What do you mean?" Aero ignored the question and confusion Littlefoot was making and went close to the pool of water. He dipped each treestar into the water and used his fingers to wipe any dirt on the surface.

Once done, Aero scrunched the leaves to small balls and ate them. He chewed a bit longer than previously, but seemed to be enjoying it more. "That's much better, tastes like a ball of spinach". Littlefoot wondered why Aero would ruin a couple of treestars like that, but he then saw Aero smile afterwards, enjoying them. So he would question about that later like what spinach is. "Well, I feel better now. What do you wanna do now? I'll follow whatever you're doing". Littlefoot seemed excited. "Let's go see my friends, they'll be so happy to see you! Come on!" Aero was about to follow Littlefoot, but almost forgot to put his gloves on. So he did so by first shaking his hands dry, then wearing the gloves after.

It took them a while but Aero and Littlefoot ran towards a specific spot at an empty field. But it wasn't entirely empty as there were two other dinosaurs about Littlefoot's size and two others that were smaller than the two. One was a creamy orange dinosaur with a horn on its nose, the other dinosaur that was about Littlefoot's size was dark green in colour with a yellow underbelly. One of the smaller dinosaurs was light green in colour and there was a small flying brown creature above the three.

They all shouted, "Hey Littlefoot!" As Littlefoot and Aero got close, Littlefoot replied. "Hey guys!" Aero was beside Littlefoot and examined the dinosaurs in front of him. "Don't I recognise you all? Where was it?" Aero closed his eyes for a second as he tried to recall what Grandpa Longneck said to him last night. "Threehorn Peak, right?" The cream-coloured dinosaur answered. "That's right. I'm Cera". The light green dinosaur added. "And I'm Ducky! Yep, yep, yep!"

Ducky sat on top of the dark green dinosaur, who nodded and made noises as a form of communication. Ducky looked down at the dark green dinosaur's face. "Spike doesn't talk, but he's my big brother!" Spike gave a big smile at Ducky. "Me Petrie". Aero looked at the small brown winged dinosaur, then gave the group a lookover. "Nice to meet you all, I'm Aero and..." Aero gave a small frown and added, "...I'm not really sure what happened at Threehorn Peak, but, I want to thank you all for getting me out of there".

Littlefoot turned his head at Aero. "You're welcome, can you tell us what happened?". Aero tried to answer the question as best as he could. "Not much, just that my fur kept getting caught on fire and hitting something hard, then meeting your grandpa". Cera stared suspiciously at Aero. "Um... what is it?" Cera went close to Aero and asked, "What kind of dinosaur are you?" Aero was a little taken back by Cera getting this close to him, but he let the other dinosaurs talk. "Me want to know too". Ducky had one of her arms up. "I would too, I do, I do!" Cera stepped back, but kept her eyes on Aero. Aero thought about that question. 'Well, I'm a Mobian Hawk. But no one will understand that. With the beak, I'm more of a flyer type, but then again I can't fly or glide. Maybe...'

Aero looked at the group of dinosaurs, hoping they will understand what kind of creature he is. "I may not look it, but I'm a swimmer. I can swim in lakes, but I can't go too deep in the water". There were many surprised faces from the group. They mostly said, "Really?" And a grunt that sounded surprised from Spike. However, Ducky was mostly happy as she cheered, jumping off Spike's back and ran to Aero to hug him. "You're a swimmer, just like me! And you're so soft!" Ducky laughed and was enjoying the hug, Aero felt a little embarassed, but was happy for her.

"Okay then, what's a swimmer doing inside a blue rock?" Aero rubbed the back of his head. "No idea, what's this blue rock you're talking about?" Littlefoot tried to explain. "We were rescuing Ducky as she got taken by one of Pterano's friends and he was going after the Stone of Cold Fire which is this blue rock you were in". Aero looked confused. "Stone of Cold Fire?" Nobody seemed to have an answer for that. 'Wonder what I was doing inside there?'

After Aero was questioning about the blue rock, everything seemed to be silenced, except the calls of other flyers and dinosaurs around them. That was until Littlefoot asked a question. "Wanna play with us, Aero?" Aero smiled. "Sure! What game are we playing?" The group were calling out all sorts of games, such as Pass the Seed and Tag, but they decided on a different game. "Seed Bashing!" Spike and Cera ran off to two different directions and were searching for something, Petrie was explaining the rules.

"You hit seed at other seeds and the one that hits most seeds wins". Aero realised that what Petrie was explaining was the exact rules of a game he played back home. 'So it's basically bowling? I'm okay at that'. Both Cera and Spike found enough seeds to assemble the target, but they needed to find one more for the player to hit the other seeds. As they were searching for that seed, a shadow casted upon the waiting group. The group of dinosaurs looked behind them to see a longneck that Aero had met recently.

"Oh! Hey Gramps". Grandpa Longneck bent his neck down. "Why hello young one, I see that you already made friends here on your first day at the Great Valley". Aero smiled and sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. "We're about to play seed bashing, just gathering the last one to play". Grandpa Longneck's smile faded a little. "Well, I'm sorry for interrupt your play time with your new friends, but I need you to come with me and talk to the other dinosaurs. They just want to know more about you".

Aero was a little concerned, but maybe he concluded in his mind that Gramps told the other dinosaurs what he knew about him. "Oh, okay sure". Aero turned to Littlefoot. "Sorry Littlefoot, this game will have to wait. I have to talk to the other grown-ups, I'll see you later". Aero waited for Grandpa Longneck to move, then walked in the direction he was going. The location they were heading to was a small square of space that has moss and vine covered stones, they entered through a stone arch that acts as the entryway. "Wow..." Aero looked amazed, he always liked the sight of beautiful nature, even if it was as simple as stone architecture.

As they went through the arch, they were in the presense of many dinosaurs that were big in size. Although, not all of them were as tall as Grandpa Longneck. Aero saw a few longnecks, a couple of swimmers, a threehorn, a couple of spiketails and other sorts of dinosaurs, all sorts except sharpteeth. Aero walked in front of Grandpa Longneck and was close to the center, but he kept close to Gramps as he felt a little overwhelmed. Once he was at the center, the dinosaurs around him were murmuring amonst themselves.

They were silenced at the call of Grandpa Longneck. "Everyone settle down! We are all here to introduce a new guest at the Great Valley". Aero looked a little nervous, probably because he noticed that the threehorn looked very intimidating, giving a look to say 'Don't mess with me or you'll regret it'. "This is Aero, please introduce yourself young one". Aero gulped, but did the best he can. "Well, as he said, I'm Aero and I..."

Aero talked to the older dinosaurs about the same things he told Littlefoot and his friends. About what he is, how he got here, but it seemed he was interrupted by a certain threehorn. "Grr.. not this Stone of Cold Fire nonsense again!" Aero stepped back a bit, seeing that this threehorn was not someone to mess with. "That story has caused too many problems! We don't need another one!" Aero looked angry at this dinosaur, he was not a problem and he'll prove it. Even if it meant teaching the threehorn a lesson. "Well if you're gonna be that way, then fight me".

Aero gave a small smile as he had riled up the threehorn and made him charge towards him. Aero waited for the threehorn to get closer and at the right opportunity, Aero side-stepped out of the way so that the threehorn charged at nothing but air. The threehorn was even madder at Aero, but he tried to calm himself and went back to the spot he was at before. Aero looked at the dinosaurs as they seemed to whisper to each other.

Aero had an uneasy vibe, it seems that the dinosaurs still don't have full trust in him. Maybe he had to prove it to them that he belongs in the Great Valley community. Aero looked around him, more specifically, the valley itself. It was very big, with a few tree dense areas, a few waterfalls and many open fields. Aero had an idea, a strange one, but it could work. "What if I... do something worthy in this valley, would that help you in trusting me more?" Some of the dinosaurs gasped, some were surprised and others were confused as to where Aero was going with this. "I want to become the Great Valley guardian".

After the announcement, everyone gasped and talked to each other, thinking that this swimmer was crazy. "Aero, what are you saying?" Grandpa Longneck was worried for the newcomer, he only just arrived in the Great Valley last night and was now asking for something so dangerous. "What I'm saying Gramps is, I want to prove to you all that I have what it takes to be a part of the Great Valley. Even it means risking my life to save others". Most of the dinosaurs still cannot believe what this young swimmer is saying. The threehorn from before slammed his right foot down hard.

"Quiet!" Everyone was silenced once again and the threehorn stepped closer to Aero. "Now you listen here, if you want to protect this valley, I suggest you go back to the Mysterious Beyond and never come back here again! We've done it with Pterano and we'll do the same with you too!" Aero stepped back at how horrible this was going, he was supposed to get these dinosaurs to trust him, not make things worse! Also, he was curious about who this 'Pterano' dinosaur was, but he could probably ask someone else about him. Right now, he had to think of something fast.

"What if I helped in some tasks like... like tidying up someone's nest or do some patrolling..." Aero looked at the top part of the wall and pointed at it. "Up there?" The dinosaurs were mostly murmuring about the patrolling part and a few were murmuring about the tidying part, Aero nodded his head. 'Okay, this is better, they seem to be more comfortable with me now... well except for this guy'. Aero looked at the threehorn, who seemed to be a bit more reasonable, but not by much. "Alright fine!" The murmuring became silenced as the threehorn explained to Aero. "I want you to help out the dinosaurs for the rest of the day, then tomorrow, you'll be patrolling the Great Valley. Any questions?"

Aero looked around him to see what he would be dealing with, it was a huge valley to look after. However in his mind, he might find this a little fun to do. It's not everyday that you get to be close to dinosaurs and he always loved a little adventure. Aero looked back at the threehorn and nodded. "Nope, I got this". Grandpa Longneck nodded and seemed to have addressed all of the dinosaurs. "Then it's settled. Aero, please do any tasks that need doing and when the Bright Circle has risen three times, all of us must come back here and we will talk to see if Aero should stay here or not. Will that be all Mr. Threehorn?" Mr. Threehorn huffed and walked in the opposite direction from Aero. The other dinosaurs left soon after, leaving the elderly longnecks and Aero alone in the square ruin.

"Mr. Threehorn huh, is he always like that?" Grandpa Longneck chuckled. "Yes, but you'll get used to it". It was then the cheery mood faded. "But Aero, why are you doing this? Taking care of the Great Valley is too much work for someone of your size". Aero widened his eyes. 'Wow... discrimination much?' Aero's eyes went back to netrual. "I may not look it, but I can take care of any sharpteeth. You'll see. Until then, I'm going to find a cave to live in where I won't bother anyone". Aero squinted his eyes and looked around the Great Valley to see if there was a cave entirely made of stone. Aero found one that was slightly above the grassy ground, it had a small enough gap for him to use as an entrance and eventually, a door.

"That cave looks perfect! I'm going to set up a home there". Grandpa Longneck smiled at Aero's enthusiasm. "Well, whatever makes you happy Aero, but remember that our nest always has room if you want to sleep with us". Aero smiled. "That's really nice of you, thanks Gramps". Aero sprinted to what would be his new home. As he got to his location, he looked around inside and in a lot of ways, it looked very comfortable for him. There was an ideal ledge of rock that he could lay or sleep on and not be uncomfortable, there was a small pool of water that had a small stream flowing down to it. Aero looked up from the pool and realised that the steam of water was coming from a water source up above.

Wanting to know what water source it was, Aero looked outside his cave and to his left was one of the waterfalls that the Great Valley has. "Maybe that's where that water stream is coming from?" Aero looked back at the entrance and he knew he wanted some form of door. "Just need to find the right boulder to have as a door and gather some materials, then it's done". Aero looked at his surroundings to look for the right boulder, there were many that were too small and only two of them were too big to move. However, there was a boulder that was big enough and Aero could manage it.

Aero did the first thing that came to mind was to push it. Sadly, it did not budge one bit. "Hmm, maybe use this?" There was a small flash of white from his right hand and from the white flash appeared to be some sort of sword. "Can't believe I'm using my sword this way". Like using a shovel, Aero used his sword as a digging tool to dig the ground under the boulder. After several minutes of digging, the boulder gaveway and rolled a little away from Aero. Aero made his sword disappear and stopped the boulder before it could go far. Aero rolled the boulder close to his cave and found a dent near the entrance for the boulder to sit on.

"Guess I'll check up on everyone now. My cave is ready to sleep in now, just need to make a dent on the entrance so that the boulder becomes a door, if I need it". Aero was admiring his new home a bit more until a voice spoke up. "Aero! Hey Aero!" Aero turned around and he saw the group of young dinosaurs he met earlier. "Oh, hey guys!" Littlefoot added, "We've been looking for you so that you could play with us". Aero smiled, it was nice to know that there were a few dinosaurs that can trust him or be friendly with him. Petrie asked, "What did grown-ups want?"

Aero explained the situation that had happened moments ago. "So if I do well, I could be the Great Valley guardian. Isn't that amazing?" The group cheered for Aero, then Ducky asked, "Can we help out, Aero? I want to see you as a guardian. Yep, yep, yep!" All of the group were very eager to help Aero out. "Thanks for the help guys, but I need to do this alone. I am being tested after all. When I'm guardian, I'll play with you guys. Got it?" They all nodded. "Well, see you tomorrow. Good luck!" The group walked away and Aero replied, "Thanks Littlefoot! See you guys later!"

And that's what it was for the next two days. The rest of that day after meeting Littlefoot and the gang at his cave, was Aero wandering around the valley to see if anyone needed help. There wasn't much needed help at the start of his patrol, but he eventually found some dinosaurs to help. One of them was a clubtail who wanted a log pushed out of the way, so that he had more room in his nest. It was a little struggling at first, but the log was pushed very easily with both the clubtail's and Aero's help. The clubtail was very appreciated with Aero's help and thanked him.

The second dinosaur that Aero helped out was a spiketail, who had something stuck on her back in between the spines. Aero assured her that he would probably have to climb on her back to reach what is troubling her. The spiketail said it was fine to do so, so Aero using the upper tail as a stepping stone, climbed onto the spiketail's back and found what was causing the problem. It was a ball of thorns that was stuck between a bone plate and the body. Aero reached for the thorns and pulled them out. Thankfully to Aero's concern, the spiketail's body didn't look bad and wearing his gloves has helped Aero not feel the pain of the thorns. Aero showed the spiketail what was troubling her and she thanked Aero as she wasn't feeling anything bad on her back.

That was mostly what happened that day. The next day as was promised by Mr. Threehorn was patrolling the valley from the outer wall. After climbing a bit of the pathways and using his super speed, Aero managed to get up there. Aero was curious about what was on the other side of the walls ever since he arrived in this valley. Grandpa Longneck said that it was called the 'Mysterious Beyond', but didn't explain much about it except that there were sharpteeth there. In other words, Aero knew that it was dangerous, but was still curious about what it looks like. As he looked, it looked like a wasteland compared to the Great Valley which is full of green food. Except for the view, there wasn't anything out there. No sharpteeth or anything bad like a vicious flyer coming into the Great Valley.

With nothing to report, Aero headed back to his cave to spend the night and sleep. He was a little nervous about tomorrow as it would be the morning that the decision on becoming a guardian is made. Trying not to think about it, Aero slept like a brick but kept the cave open in case he was late in the morning.

Turns out that wasn't the case as the following morning light woke him up. Aero stretched his arms up as he left the cave and went to the waterfall near his cave. Aero took of his clothing and using the waterfall like a shower, he refreshed himself and let the bright circle dry him off. Once he was dry enough, Aero put his clothing back on and made his way to the ruin at a leisurely pace.

Aero arrived at the location but looked around as he saw no one in sight. Confused, Aero asked himself, "Where is everyone? Am I early?" Shrugging this strange event off, Aero became patient by sitting on the flat rock that was sitting in the middle of the ruin. "Oh well, I can wait". Aero didn't have to wait long as he saw the first pair of dinosaurs to enter. It was Grandpa and Grandma Longneck along with Littlefoot running his way towards Aero. "Hey Aero!" When Littlefoot was close enough for Aero to touch, Aero gave Littlefoot a hug. "Hey Littlefoot, good to see you today".

When Littlefoot's grandparents got close enough for them to hear Aero, Aero added, "It's good to see you too as well". Grandpa Longneck smiled and greeted Aero. "Well, good morning Aero. Are you excited about being Guardian of the Great Valley?" Aero rubbed his arm a little. "Yeah, a little. But I'm more nervous than anything. I mean... I don't know what to do if I don't become a guardian". Grandpa Longneck smiled. "I'm sure you'll be chosen Aero". Littlefoot agreed with his grandpa. "Yeah, you'll be amazing!" Aero smiled back. "Thanks guys".

Pretty soon after, dinosaur after dinosaur showed up until the ruin had no space left for one more to fit. The elderly longnecks took the entrance spaces, Mr. Threehorn took within the inner square of the ruin and many of the flyers took spaces on the branches of nearby trees. Seeing that everyone was here, Aero took his spot on the centre rock, standing there and looking at everyone. Grandpa Longneck started the talk. "We are all here to make a decision, should this new resisdent Aero become the Guardian of the Great Valley?"

Everyone spoke quietly amongst themselves, until a voice spoke up. "If I may?" Everyone made room so that the spoken dinosaur can be seen, it was the clubtail that Aero helped a few days ago. "Go ahead Mr. Clubtail". The voices were silent so that everyone can hear what Mr. Clubtail had to say. "I had a problem with my nest as there was a huge log in the way. Then this little fellow came by and helped me push the log out of the way, took a while but did the job". Mr. Clubtail went back to where he was standing. "Thank you for that Mr. Clubtail. Would anyone else like to share their thoughts?" No one said anything at first, but a nervous voice spoke up.

"I would..like to say..something too". A spiketail came out but slowly as it was pretty nervous. The spiketail kept staring back at the dinosaurs and specifically at Mr. Threehorn. 'That spiketail is afraid of Mr. Threehorn... I don't blame the spiketail, he can be scary to look at...' It seemed that its nerves have cooled down as the spiketail talked. "This young one helped me the other day when I had this pain on my back, he found the problem and removed it. Since then, my back feels much better".

The dinosaurs sounded like they were more convinced and Littlefoot had a smile on his face. But Mr. Threehorn still wasn't convinced yet. "Silence! What about the patrol on the Great Valley walls?" Aero gulped, however a flyer from above spoke up. "Mr. Threehorn, I was watching Aero yesterday and he was doing a good job at it. Everyone, let's make this young one a guardian!" Everyone was cheering at the statement, Aero looked around with a smile and Mr. Threehorn got silenced. Grandpa Longneck slammed his foot down like a judge slamming his gavel down to silence the court. The dinosaurs voices gradually faded down and Grandpa Longneck asked, "After the evidence provided here today, I hereby make Aero our Great Valley guardian!"

Cheers erupted at the decision and Aero couldn't believe it, he did it. He got what he wanted since arriving at this beautiful valley and now he can protect this place. "Thank you everyone! I won't let you all down!" The younger dinosaurs that were in front of their parents rushed towards Aero and were hugging him including a few that Aero knew before. Being overwhelmed by so many young dinosaurs, Aero said, "Okay, alright everyone, back up. Give me some space guys". Everyone smiled at the sight of their children looking so happy and were very grateful to have their first guardian in their valley.

So there you have it, the ending part of the Stone of Cold Fire movie. This story will follow the movies, however the order will be very mixed. What movie plot would you like me to do next? The Big Freeze? The Great Valley Adventure? The Great Migration? Please tell me which one you would like me to do as I have no idea which one to do next. Bare in mind that this story will be all in Aero's POV, so if he's with the gang, it will be from Aero's POV.

Oh and please do not choose movie number XIV as I do not have that one on DVD or be able to watch it. I just know that it's about Bron coming to the Great Valley, but he's trapped within a volcano and the gang go and save him. That's all I know. I have the rest though, from the first to XIII. I may watch them all as I am now trapped within my home, but then again, my home is full of other DVDs and Blu-Rays.

Hope you enjoyed the story so far! Please read and review!
