Chapter Nine: Nin-info Cards?
 After Sasuke and Naruto got their asses handed to them by Lee, the four Genin of Team Seven walked down the hall to find Kakashi standing out in front of the door they were suppose to enter.
"Oh, good. Sakura came as well." Kakashi stated as he stood there with his hands in his pockets. "Good, then you guys can properly take the exam."
"What do you mean?" Sakura asked while Sasuke bent down to let Raina climb onto his back since she was leaning against the wall for support. Kakashi noticed this but said nothing as he looked at Sakura while Raina shook her head no at Sasuke.
"Well, normally, the test can only be taken in teams of three. But this year, only two groups of four would be allowed to take the test. That is, if all four members showed up." Kakashi explained as he looked from Sakura to Sasuke, Raina, and Naruto.
"Huh? But you said that taking the test was an individual choice." Sakura stated as she looked at Kakashi. "You lied to us?"
"If I had told you the truth, Sasuke or Naruto would have pressured you to take the exam." Kakashi explained as he looked at them. "Even if you didn't want to, if Sasuke asked you… You would, even though if it wasn't in your heart. For the sake of Sasuke… and… well… Naruto too…"
"So only if Sasuke, Naruto, and Raina had shown up?" Sakura asked, feeling that she had to include the red-haired freak that was a part of her team. Raina sighed as she rested her head on Sasuke's shoulder since he was still standing next to the red-head.
"The Exam would have ended here. The three of them wouldn't get to go any further since I signed you four up as a team." Kakashi explained as his eye crinkled shut as he smiled. "But you came of your own free will. You guys are my team. I'm proud of all four of you. No get going!" Raina pushed herself off the wall and walked with the rest of Team Seven through the doors leading into room 3-1. Once they opened the doors did they all stop.
"Wow…." Naruto trailed off as he stood mouth a gaped at all the other genin that were in the room.
"What is this?" Sakura questioned while Raina and Sasuke just sighed. Raina reached up and tugged on a strand of Sasuke's hair before moving away to look at Sakura. Sasuke glared at her gently as she moved, a slight smirk on his face.
"It's a room full of genins to take the exam Saukra… What does it look like?" Raina asked, annoyance laced in voice as she talked. Sakura gave Raina a glare before turning her attention back to the genins in front of her.

What numbers! They are taking the exam? Sakura asked herself silently as she scanned the room. They all look so strong…
"Sasuke! You're late!" a high pitched screech came out as a blonde girl jumped and latched herself onto Sasuke's back, causing Raina to sigh as she noticed two other people walking towards them, one of the figures carrying someone. "I haven't seen you for a while, so I've been waiting in excitement."

Get away from Sasuke! Ino-pig!" Sakura screeched back, while Sasuke locked eyes with Raina.

'Save me?' Sasuke mouthed to her. Raina smirked and shook her head at him before giving her reason.

'Don't want the two banshees trying to kill me…' She mouthed back while the blonde on Sasuke's back looked at Sakura.

"Why if it isn't Sakura." Ino said in a sickly sweet voice before it dropped into a deadpanned tone. "Big ugly forehead as always…"

"What did you say?!" Sakura demanded getting pissed off as Ino got off Sasuke's back.

"You guys are taking this stupid test too? Don't die…" Shikamaru trailed off as he stopped near Sasuke while Ino stuck her tongue out at Sakura. On Shikamaru's back, Raina noticed a girl with bright orange hair and blue eyes. Shikamaru had his hands in his pocket, but if looked at closely it could be seen that his arms were supporting the girl's shoulders. Naruto turned to look at Shikamaru and the girl on his back as well as Choji.
"Oh, the idiot trio is here, or should I say idiot four since Ruki is latched on to you like always Shikamaru." Naruto stated while Sasuke turned to look at Shikamaru over his shoulder.

"Don't call us that." Shikamaru sighed while Ruki flipped Naruto off before looking at Sasuke.

"Sorry, Chickenass." Ruki said to Sasuke while he frowned even more at her. Ruki smirked as she rested her chin on Shikamaru's shoulder. "As for me being latched on to Shikamaru all the time, Naruto, I will have you know that I am not latched on to him all the time. I kinda over did it in training yesterday and can't walk straight. I've been running into walls."
"Man this sucks…" Shikamaru sighed as he leaned his head against Ruki's slightly. Choji next to him nodded his head in agreement while munching away on chips as Sasuke turned to face Ruki and Shikamaru.

"Oi, Carrot top. How have your missions been?" Sasuke asked as Raina walked over to him since she couldn't stand listening to Naruto, Ino, and Sakura bicker. Ruki stuck her tongue out at Sasuke as Raina stood next to him.
"Good. Though not as interesting as the one you had in the Land of Waves." Ruki stated as she noticed Raina and smiled. "Hi! I'm Ruki Uchiha, Sasuke's cousin."
"Raina." The red-haired girl replied, smiling slightly back at Ruki. She could see herself getting along with this orange haired cousin of Sasuke's.
"A pain in the ass cousin at that." Sasuke teased Ruki while Shikamaru nodded his head in agreement. "Rai, Ruki was adopted into the clan and has been my best friend ever since. You may actually like her."
"Hn… I'll be the judge of that." Raina stated as she felt sand once again wrap around her ankle. "This is why I don't play with him… he cheats…" Raina muttered as she glared over at where Gaara and her other two siblings were standing. Sasuke looked down and saw the sand and sighed.

"Yahoo, found you!" Kiba called as he, Shino and Hinata walked up to the others. The sand that was around Raina's ankle went back to Gaara as the red-haired girl turned around.

"Hm?" Raina looked to see who was talking while Shikamaru jumped slightly to hoist Ruki higher up on his back.

"Well, well. Everyone is assembled." Kiba stated as he looked at everyone before his eyes settled on Raina. "Who is this? She wasn't in our class."
"No shit, Dumbass." Raina deadpanned while Sasuke smirked and tugged on a lock of her hair. Kiba growled and tried to intimidate Raina.
"You got some nerve talking like that." Kiba told Raina as she stared him down, showing she wasn't scared of him.
"And you're a moron if you think you're scary and can scare me. I have dealt with things far scarier than you." Raina retorted as Sasuke moved behind her and wrapped an arm around her waist and his other around her chest. "I'm not going to launch myself at him."

"Geez you guys too?" Shikamaru asked as he and Ruki both frowned. Sasuke released Raina and tugged on her hair gently, as if to warn her. Raina glared at him before pulling on some of his hair in return.

"Guess it's too much to ask for all of us to be nominated…" Ruki muttered as she buried her face in Shikamaru's neck, the boy sighing as he did. Shikamaru knew that Ruki was starting to withdraw into herself and ignored everyone else in order to get her to talk to him.

"I see… All ten of the rookie genin are taking the exam." Kiba stated as he looked at Sasuke, taking note on how he was giving the one girl he didn't know attention more than any other girl. "I wonder how far we will get… Eh Sasuke?"

"Pft. You seem confident Kiba." Sasuke stated as looked over at the boy. "But its eleven rookie genin. Raina is a part of team seven, making a total of eleven rookies." Raina looked at Sasuke only slightly surprised before rolling her eyes as Naruto started to yell at Kiba.

"Geez… does he have to be so loud…" Raina grumbled as she glared at Naruto. She knew that all the other genin were staring in their direction but didn't feel like pointing it out. Sasuke smirked and ruffled Raina's hair gently.
"Hey, you guys. You should be more quiet." A male with silver hair and glasses said as he approached the eleven rookies. Raina backed away from the man, causing Sasuke to step in front of her slightly. "You guys are just rookies from the academy right? Screaming like school girls, geez…. This isn't a picnic."
"Who do you think you are?" Ino demanded while Ruki and Raina looked at each other. Both girls got the same vibe from the silver haired male, he was bad news.
"I'm Kabuto." The male said as he smirked. "But instead of that, look behind you."
"Behind?" Sakura asked as she turned around and Raina moved to stand next to Sasuke. Sasuke looked at her out of the corner of his eye before looking behind Sakura to see all the genins glaring at them. Raina looked and saw her siblings staring in her direction, Kankuro cocking an eyebrow at her.
"Those guys behind you are from the Hidden Rain. They have short tempers." Kabuto explained while Raina just cocked an eyebrow back at her oldest brother. Sasuke looked at the Hidden Rain nin while moving closer to Raina to protect her should he need to. "Everyone is nervous about the exam. Quiet down before you cause a scene."
"Huh?" Sakura looked confused at Kabuto as everyone turned to look back at him.

"Well, I can't blame you… you're clueless rookies. You remind me of how I used to be." Kabuto said as he placed his hand on his took pouch that rested on his hip.
"Kabuto, right?" Sakura asked as he looked at him curious. When Kabuto nodded his head, she continued. "So this is your second time?"
"Nope…" Kabuto pressed his glasses up with his free hand while his other hand rested on his tool pouch. "My seventh time. This exam is held twice a year, so this is my fourth year."
"Wow, so you know a lot about the exam." Sakura said, impressed while Raina and Ruki both looked at each other and rolled their eyes.
"Wow impressinve…" Naruto trailed off as Raina just shook her head and rested it on Sasuke's shoulder.
"That's right." Kabuto stated as he reached into his took pouch and pulled out cards. "Hehe… I'll share some info with you cute rookies. With these nin-info cards."

"Nin-info cards?" Sakura asked while Raina and Sasuke both looked at Sakura like she was an idiot.
