If you ask I can post the links of the wikis that I use for the jutsus since I use them regularly in role play spars Also I am going to be skipping around at this moment as I have not watched all of the Chunin Exams or read the manga part for it as I have found it boring.

Chapter Ten: The first Exam

Raina sighed and rested her head on Sasuke's shoulder, causing the dark-haired male to look at her. Raina really couldn't stand Sakura and her stupidity at times, and it was showing now. Kabuto crouched down and placed his deck of cards down on the ground before placing one finger on top of it.

"They are basically cards which have info burned on to them with chakra." Kabuto explained as he pushed his glasses up, placing one face up on the ground to reveal that it was blank. "I have four years worth of info here. Over two hundred cards… My cards look blank but to open the info on these cards." He placed his finger on it and started to make the card spin.

"What are you doing?" Sakura asked as she watched him. Sasuke, his attention now back on Kabuto looked as well while Raina looked over at Shikamaru and Ruki, both were off in their own little world while Shikamaru tried to get Ruki to talk to him still.

"How often does Ruki withdraw like that?" Raina whispered softly, only half listening to Kabuto as he explained about his cards some. Sasuke looked at Raina before looking back at Ruki as she and Shikamaru walked over to towards them.

"Every once in awhile. She's getting better. She had been worse back when our clan was killed." Sasuke replied as Ruki stood next to him. He wrapped an arm around Ruki and pulled her close to him. "It's okay Ru."

"Yeah… I'll be okay Sas… Arigato." Ruki hugged Sasuke back before moving away and hugging Shikamaru. Shikamaru wrapped his arms around her and held her close as the four turned their attention back to Kabuto.

"Do you have cards with info on individuals?" Sasuke asked as Raina looked at him from the corner of her eye. Kabuto chuckled causing Raina to narrow her eyes some.

"Hehe… There are some guys you're worried about?" Kabuto teased slightly as he looked up at Sasuke. "Of course I have info on this entire exam's participants, though it's not perfect. Even on you guys. Say something about these guys and I'll take a look."

"Gaara of Suna and Rock Lee from Konoha." Sasuke said while Raina wacked him upside the head. "Damn it Rai…" Sasuke growled while he glared at her half heartedly. He could here Ruki snickering, muttering something to Shikamaru about how Raina can kick his ass, while Raina glared right back at him.

"Awww…. You knowing their names takes some of the fun away from it. But this will make it easier as well." Kabuto stated, drawing everyone's attention back to him. Kabuto quickly pulled two cards away from his deck and held them up to his face. Naruto looked completely confused but quickly hid it, causing Raina to smirk.

This will be interesting to see what this weirdo has as info on Nii-san. Raina thought as she crossed her arms and rested her head on Sasuke's shoulder again. Sasuke tilted his head and rested it on Raina's quickly before straightening it again.

"Show me." Sasuke stated as Kabuto nodded his head and infused his chakra into the cards quickly.

"Okay… So the first one up is Rock Lee." Kabuto said as he looked down at the card and started to read the information off. "He's a year older than you guys. His mission history consists of twenty D-ranks completed and twelve C-ranks completed. His sensei is Gai. His taijutsu has improved greatly in this year. Though the rest is nothing impressive really. Last year he had gained the attention as a talented new genin. But he didn't participate in the exam, so like you guys this is his first time. His teammates are Neji Hyuga and TenTen." Kabuto then turned his attention to the next card.
Next is Gaara… Though I suppose I could have asked Rai on him. Sasuke thought as he glanced at the red-head next to him. Raina looked at him and smirked, showing she was now interested in what Kabuto's card had to say on her brother.

"Next is Gaara of Suna. Okay so his mission history consists of eight C-Ranks completed and, wow this is impressive for a genin, one B-Rank completed. Since he's a new comer from a foreign country I don't have much info on him, but it seems that he returned from all his missions without even a scratch." Kabuto stated as he looked up at them. Kabuto noticed Raina's smirk widen as she listened to him read about Gaara. "Is something entertaining to you?"

"Just listening you read to what you have on Gaara is interesting. That's all you have? Kinda pathetic if you ask me." Raina stated as Kabuto pulled a new card out of his deck.

"Alright since you think that's sad. Let's see what I have on you." Kabuto smirked as he quickly made the card with the girl's info appear. "Raina… Your mission history consists of three D-ranks completed; one B-rank completed; and, holy shit this is even more impressive for a genin, ten A-ranks completed." Kabuto looked up at the red-haired girl standing next to the Uchiha male. "You're good in ninjutsu and taijutsu, but not so good in genjutsu. Sensei is Kakashi Hatake, and your teammates are Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha. All of your missions, you returned with no scratches as well."

"Holy shit Rain!" Naruto exclaimed as he looked over at Raina. He noticed the red-head smirk even more as she listened to Kabuto.

"I can explain everything about that to you later Naruto, Sasuke." Raina stated as she glanced over at Naruto. But his cards obviously are not that good if he doesn't have on there that I recently came to Konoha. Raina thought as Kabuto started talking again, though she tuned his voice out. Raina didn't acknowledge Kabuto as he stood next to her, she didn't even hear Naruto as he yelled out. Suddenly Raina was dodging an attack from a male that had bandages covering most of his face except for one eye.

"Ah!" Kabuto gasped as his glasses broke. Everyone around Kabuto and Raina looked on surprised while Raina growled slightly. She didn't like that she was just attacked even though she and the four eyes next to her dodged the attack.

"What's going on? They both dodged it so how did his glasses…?" Sasuke trailed off as he looked over at Raina and Kabuto, making sure the red-head was okay.

"It probably grazed his nose. That's what you get for acting like a big shot." Shikamaru and Ruki both stated at the same time, causing Ino to look over at them annoyed slightly. Suddenly both Kabuto and Raina stiffened in surprised before curling over, Kabuto actually falling to his knees, and expelling the contents of their stomachs onto the floor.

"Ah! They threw up!" Naruto shouted as Sasuke moved over to Raina quickly. He pulled her hair that hung in her face away so she didn't get it dirty from the vomit.

"Kabuto?" Sakura called his name out, not really caring once again for her red-haired teammate. Everyone, including Raina's siblings in the crowd, all looked over at the Sound shinobi as they all stood in front of the rookies and Kabuto. Temari and Kankuro looked down at Gaara, worried as to what he was going to do since his twin was attacked.

"Rai, you okay?" Sasuke asked the girl as she straightened up and wiped her mouth with the back of her hand.

"Yeah… I'm okay. I dodged that attack though…" Raina growled slightly as she looked at Sasuke. The Uchiha male nodded his head in agreement before looking back at the Sound shinobi while they told Kabuto off for something.

Both Kabuto and Rai completely dodged that guy's attack. So why…? Sasuke thought trailed off as there was a loud bang towards the front of the room.

"Quiet down you worthless bastards!" A male's voice called out from the smoke that appeared in the front of the room where the bang originated. Suddenly a male with a black trench coat on and scars on his face along with a bunch of what looked like to be chunin to Raina appeared. "Thanks for waiting. My name is Ibiki Morino. I'm your examiner for the Chunin selection exam's first test." Everyone around the room gulped audiobly while Raina and Gaara both just rolled their eyes and crossed their arms over their chests in sync with each other.

"That guy is not scary at all…" Raina muttered while Ibiki pointed his finger towards everyone that was in the back.

"Hidden Sound guys. Stop doing as you please before the exam. Do you want your asses to fail already?" Ibiki asked, indicating that he was pointed at the three in front of Raina.

"Sorry 'bout that. This is our first time, we got a bit carried away." The mummy looking shinobi stated as Raina glared at him.

I call bullshit… seems like Morino agrees with me… Raina thought as Ibiki scoffed as well.

"Here's a good opportunity to say this to you all. There will be no fighting without permission of the examiner. Even if permission is granted, killing your opponent will not be tolerated. Those idiots who disobey me will be failed immediately. Do I make myself clear?" Ibiki demanded while Naruto gulped. Raina smirked slightly as she looked over at her siblings and nodded her head slightly to show that she was okay. Gaara nodded back before turning his attention to Ibiki.

"Rai… Will you be okay?" Sasuke asked her softly as he glanced down at her. Raina looked up at Sasuke and nodded her head.

"We'll now start the first test in the Chunin exam. Instead of your current seating arrangements…" Ibiki trailed off as he pulled out a small pile of papers, the top one having the number one on it. "You will pick one of these tabs and sit in the seat assigned to you. We will then hand out the exams."

"WHAT?! A PAPER TEST?!" Naruto shouted causing Raina to growl slightly and glare at him while covering her right eye again.

"Naruto… shut the fuck up…. You're causing a scene and starting to irritate me." Raina told him as Sasuke looked down at her. Naruto nodded his head vigorously as he noticed Raina was covering her right eye again. Sasuke moved so he was standing in front of Raina so she was blocked from the others views. Pulling her hand away from her eye gently, Sasuke looked into Raina's eye to see it had changed; though some of the green color that was her normal eye color remained.

"Hopefully we will sit next to each other. Or you will sit next to one of your siblings…" Sasuke murmured to her as he moved to stand next to her again when her eye went back to its normal green. Raina nodded her head as she moved with Sasuke and the other two of Team Seven to get their numbers. Soon Raina found herself sitting next to her twin brother and both of them smirked. Sakura was sitting a few rows ahead of her with Naruto being the furthest in the front next to some silent girl that Raina didn't know. Sasuke was a few rows behind Raina.

"Don't turn your tests over just yet. You need to listen closely to what I'm about to say." Ibiki stated before putting his hand that held a piece of chalk to the board. Ibiki wrote at the same time as he spoke, listing the rules that he was giving.

So… They are going to dock points if they spot us cheating or if we get answers wrong. Taking into account that my team and the team that Sasuke's cousin is on has four members… Raina trailed off as she heard Sakura's annoying voice speak up once again. "And there she goes running her mouth instead of listening and gathering intel that way…" Raina muttered to her twin as he glanced at her. Gaara just grunted lightly and smirked slightly before going to his stotic mask that he always had on.

"And the final rule, those that lose all of their initial points during the test and those that don't answer the questions correctly will be failed along with their two teammates. In the case of the two teams that have four, all four of you will fail. The points are still the same for your two teams as if you were a three man squad." Ibiki stated that caused Sakura and Sasuke to look surprised while Raina just sighed.

Wha?! That means if either of us get the questions wrong or get caught cheating… Damn… Naruto you better not screw this up… Sasuke thought as he noticed Raina glance back at him and smirk slightly. Sasuke cocked an eye brow, silently asking what she was smirking at. Shaking her head only slightly, Raina turned her head back to the front signaling that she would tell Sasuke after the exam.

"The exam will last one hour… Okay…. BEGIN!" Ibiki shouted as the uniformed sound of papers being flipped over filled the room before the sound of pencils writing filled the room. Raina took one glance at the questions before sitting back and folding her arms over her chest slightly, a small frown on her face.

Okay… going by these questions, no genin besides a genius could figure these out. From what Sasuke said, Shikamaru and Ruki are brilliant and their minds are almost in sync with each other to where they could easily figure out these questions. Someone like Naruto wouldn't stand a chance with these questions. Sasuke and Sakura are smart so they will be able to figure them out or figure a way to get the answers without getting caught. Me… I'm only street and survival smart… I don't have the book smarts it would take to solve these questions without cheating… Raina thought as she uncrossed her arms and placed one hand in her lap and held the other out, causing a small amount of sand to form in it. She then sent her sand that she just gathered in her hand towards Gaara as he formed his sand third eye. This combined jutsu that they did would allow them to both see what the eye was seeing. At least Gaara and I are next to each other wise I would have to try to for the damn third eye myself and I never was very successful with that.

THUD! The sound of a kunai hitting would startled Raina out of her musings as she and Gaara both looked at each other with a slight smirk as they listened to a kid try to validate that he wasn't cheating.

Oh yes… this exam will be over quickly… With the way people are getting caught… Soon the tenth question will be given out… I just hope Naruto hasn't been spotted or has figured out a way to get the answers he needs. Raina smirked as she and Gaara both picked up their pencils in sync and started to write.

A/N: So what I mean by Raina being Street smart is she knows how to get things she wants in the streets. Mind you she and Gaara grew up having to survive the attacks of assassins so she would gain the smarts of the streets on how to survive and avoid attacks from people.
