I will as soon as I get the inspiration to write the chapter that needs to written. Have some faith in me please? And as always read and review please. "Italics" is Inner Sakura. Italics are thoughts. Bold are sound effects. Bold Italics are Shukaku and Kurama. All jutsus used can be found on the wikis. If you ask I can post the links of the wikis that I use for the jutsus since I use them regularly in role play spars Also I am going to be skipping around at this moment as I have not watched all of the Chunin Exams or read the manga part for it as I have found it boring.

I apologize for not updating this in a long time. I had to have my gall bladder removed in February and I work many hours to where by the time I get home, I'm exhausted. Not to mention that I am also trying to start up a YouTube channel for gaming. I promise I am not giving up on this story. Sorry for it being so short. I just wanted to get something up for you.

Chapter Thirteen: The Sound Shinobi Appear

"Naruto! Sasuke and Raina are…" Sakura trailed off as she looked over to see that the blonde was still out cold and hanging from the tree by the back of his jacket with the kunai still holding him in place. Sakura started to tear up as she hugged Sasuke causing him to grunt in pain. Raina pushed herself into a sitting position before using her sand to get Naruto down and over to where they were.

"We have to find a place to rest. To protect them while they heal some." Raina said to Sakura as she felt Naruto's forehead. She was worried about what Orochimaru did to him and realized that the blonde had a slight fever. The two females of Team Seven moved the boys at a slow pace to make sure that they wouldn't be in pain. "Gah…" Raina grunted as she felt the pain from the bite mark start to act up again.

"Raina?" Sakura looked at her, genuinely concerned for the red-head since she tried to protect Sasuke's life and wanted to protect the boys while they healed.

"I'll be okay. Let's just get them down to the roots of the trees so that the three of you are better protected." Raina told her as she continued down the tree, carrying Naruto over her shoulder and Sasuke using her sand. Sakura was dumbfounded before she quickly followed Raina. Once they were in the roots Sakura put cold rags, wet from water in her canteen, on the boys' foreheads.

"Raina, you should lay down too. You were bitten by Orochimaru as well." Sakura told her as she looked at the girl. Raina looked over at Sakura and shook her head.

"I can't… I may fall asleep… if I do… you will have bigger issues to worry about than the boys being sick like this." Raina told Sakura as she looked at the two. "I'm a chronic insomniac because of what is inside of me… if I fall asleep… it will take over and create a bloodshed that is bigger than the great shinobi wars combined." Sakura nodded her head and tended to the boys while Raina kept watch.

It wasn't until later that Sakura finally forced Raina to at least lay down to release some of the strain her body was taking on from the pain of the bite and whatever else was happening with her. Unknown to both of the girls, the team was being watched by the Sound Shinobi team. Raina watched as Sakura chased a squirrel away and frowned.

Well, now if we are being watched then the enemy will know that she had set a trap… Raina thought as she sat up some.

"Raina, lay back down." Sakura scolded as the sound team started to move. Neither girl noticed though as they started to argue.

"Sakura, shut up. You have been up all night with me and now just gave away a trap that you had set if an enemy is watching us." Raina scowled as she used her sand to force herself up and to her knees. "Im an insomniac, you aren't. You can't function on no sleep like I can."
"Well, well well," The sound ninja with the bandages said as the three sound shinobi appeared. "They were up all night for us. That's no longer necessary for you. Wake up Sasuke and then you can sleep while we fight him." Raina's frown deepened as she and Sakura turned quickly to his voice. Raina let Sakura mouth off to them as she sent her sand down on the ground towards the enemy slowly. Raina noticed how the sound shinobi stiffened as Sakura demanded to know what Orochimaru wanted with Sasuke.

"What does this mark mean?" Raina demanded as she bared the mark that she received from Orochimaru when she shoved Sasuke out of the way the first time. "It has to mean something or Orochimaru wouldn't have marked Sasuke with it, me receiving it before Sasuke as I shoved him out of the way." Raina stiffened as the other male of the sound team stated that he would kill her and Sakura before killing Sasuke.
