It was a quiet 2:00am on a Friday and everyone was asleep. Except for one person. That one person is Len Kagamine. His insomnia kept him up late and he really couldn't do anything but lay in his bed and stare at the ceiling while at least trying to go to sleep.
Until he heard little tapping sounds as he ignored it at first. Then he heard it again. A few minutes later, he finally fell asleep. But not for long. The spider crawled on Len's arm which suddenly woke him up. He saw the spider going up his arm and literally jumped out of his bed in shock. "YEET!" he quietly yelled as he yeeted himself off the bed.
Fortunately the spider fell off but was still in sight. Len was unaware of what to do. He was standing outside of his bedroom thinking of what to do. He was scared of spiders, so he couldn't sleep in his room. Until he heard a door crack. It was the door of his sister, Rin Kagamine. "Len? It's 2 in the morning, why are you still up?" Len made an awkward facial expression at his sister as she did the same. "What are YOU doing up right now?" Len suspiciously questioned. "I was going to get a glass of water because I feel like a desert. But i'm asking what YOU are doing at 2am, HMMMM?" Rin replied. "Um-" Rin had a sus look on her face.
"Therewasaspiderinmyroomandiwastryingtofigureoutwhattodo." Len was blushing like crazy. "Oof. Okay hold on." Rin said as she dashed downstairs to the kitchen and got a glass of water. "Aight i'm back." 'That was pretty quick.' Len thought. "You can sleep in my room." Rin offered. "Oh, I can't. It's your room..." Ever since the twins hit puberty, they just needed more space apart from each other. "No, I insist." Rin insisted.
"No thanks-" Len replied, being cut off by his sister. " BOI DO YOU WANT TO SLEEP WITH THE SPIDER OR NAH?" Len sighed. "Okay I will sleep with you." They both went to Rin's room. They headed to the bed and Rin curled up next to Len. "Night sis." Len said. "Night bro." Rin replied.
~In the morning~
The twins woke up at around 11:00am to see probably the same spider on the far end of the bed. They both yeeted themselves off the bed. Turns out Rin is also scared of spiders. But at least it was morning and they didn't have to worry about having to find another place to sleep because they both were unaware if that was the same spider. "Wait, what is that smell tho?" Rin asked. "Hmmm… I don't know. Maybe it could be…" Len's sentence trailed off. "Pancakes..." The twins both said, laughing. "Race you downstairs!" Len said, dashing out the door. "Oh it's on." Rin said following him.
