I woke up to a knock on the door. I rub my eyes and sit up.

'Forgot that I'm staying at the Hyoudou's' I look down at my shirtless body and notice that there's a huge scar on my chest.

'Huh, didn't notice that'

I put my shirt on and go to the door. I open it and see Issei there with a huge smile on his face.

"Nii-san, time for breakfast!"

I smile and he then says

"C'mon" and off he goes.

I slowly make my way downstairs, to the dining room.

"That smells amazing" I say with a smile as I see the eggs, bacon, and pancakes.

I quickly scoff it down and Mrs Hyoudou says

"Slow down, there's plenty"

"Way better than cereal" I say with crocodile tears in my eyes.

The parents frown for a second at that, but it was quickly turned into a smile.

"Nii-san guess what?" Issei says with a smile. I smile back and say "What?"

"Today's the fire festival and tou-san and kaa-san are going to take us with Irina"

My eyes quickly widen as the thought crossed my mind

'This might be where that old man came in'

'Interesting…' Anthem spoke and I nodded.

I cover my thinking by acting happy at the words he said.

"So cool~" Issei laughed at that.

His parents smiled.

"Get showered and we'll go pick Irina up"

We showered and I borrowed some clothes from Issei. We got in the car and headed over to Irina's with Issei gushing over the festival.

We stopped at their house and Issei insisted that we walk up to the door and knock.

"~One second" A female voice said and the door opened to reveal Irina, in a dress.

Issei's eyes widened and he shouted

"You're a girl!?"

She looked offended and hit Issei in the head while saying

"Of course I am, idiot"

I sweatdrop at the situation.

"Anyways~ Let's go to the festival!" She said after a moment.

Issei says "Right, Isaac, Irina, let's have fun!" with a smile.

I grin and give a thumbs up.

We hurry to the car and make our way to the festival. Right before we get there the Hyoudou's warned us about losing each other in the crowd.

"Now then, mom and dad will be watching the dancing at the pavilion, make sure to stay near each other and don't get lost, okay?"

We went booth to booth for a couple of hours and Irina wanted to go check out the pavilion with the Hyoudou's

"I'll be back soon, Issei, Isaac"

I nod and Issei gave a thumbs up. We walked around towards the back of the path when Issei walked up to a person where the group of children were gathering around him.

"Oppais are the best thing in the world and should be cherished" the old man said with a perverted giggle.

My eyes immediately twitched as I turn around to grab Issei and leave when I looked at Issei, he had stars in his eyes and was soaking up everything the old man was saying.

"Issei, come on let's go" I say in a serious tone. He shook his head and planted his feet firmly in the ground.

'Fuck, this can't be seriously happening right now'

"Love all of the oppais you see, because they are sacred and heavenly." The old man continued.

I lost my temper and said "Shut the fuck up you asshole"

His eyes twitch a bit before turning his gaze towards me.

"Why do you hate Oppai young man?"

"I don't, focus on protecting the person who holds the oppai instead of the oppai themselves!" I yell.

And it seemed Issei was listening to me. All the kids seem to be nodding their heads to my logic

"Eh, girls are a dime a dozen" The old man said to me specifically. My hands clench and before I know it, the air was heating up all around me. Everyone was looking around in confusion, trying to see where the heat was coming from. The old man's eyes widened as he took another good look at me.

"Got a problem, boy?" I grit my teeth as I slowly walk up to him.

'This man is mocking me'

Before I knew it the heat had spread to my hands. I widened my eyes as I try to get rid of the ambient heat and try to hold it back to my hands specifically. Small wisps of smoke came from them. But the old man didn't flinch and he gave another mocking grin.

I punched him with all the muster a 12 year old could do

His face looked shocked as it was tilted towards the punch. He didn't even seem fazed as he took a hand and ran it through his long beard. And gave me another glance.

'Shit, my anger got the best of me, what if he tells someone' A cold sweat overtook me.

Instead of being angry his whole body started shaking as he started laughing.

"Good punch lad" He said, still chuckling. Before he could finish what he was going to say, a women with long silver hair in a pony tail and ice blue eyes walked up to him and started to drag him away.

'No way, was that Rosseweisse!?' I think shocked.

No way, she would have to be taller, that women looked way older as well, Maybe a family member?

Before they left completely, I managed to hear, "Odin-sama, how many times do I have to tell you to not corrupt kids"

The icy pit in my stomach was back, my eyes widen completely as I realize who I just punched.

Then I heard Anthem chuckling in my head.

'You just punched one of the Northern Gods, the most powerful one of all'

'How come he didn't attack me?'

'Oh, he could've in an instant, and looks like you've just appeared on his radar'

'Did he sense you?' I ask not believing what just happened

'Most likely, judging on how compressed you made the fire within your fists, a normal human would've perished

~Odin POV~

"What an interesting child, that boy was"

"Someone impressed you?" The Valkyrie said while escorting Odin back to his hotel.

I chuckled and said "Not just any boy, you just saw me get punched by the wielder of the holy relic, Incernate Anthem"

My guards eyes widen as she replays the memory.

"That boy was?" She says after a moment

"Indeed, keep an eye on him, will you, Gondül"

"Will do Odin-sama, one question though, did it hurt?" She questioned

"It stung a little" I say with a chuckle

~Isaac POV~

I turned to Issei and said

"Come on Issei, let's go find your parents"

He looked at me with a wide smile and said "Nii-san, that was so cool, you punched him good"

"Yeah, let's keep this as our secret, a brothers secret can't be broken" I said to him hoping he would agree.

"Right, a brothers secret" He said with a smile.

I winced and thought of how me intervening with the pervert will effect him.

"Nii-san will I find oppais to protect?"

He said with a serious face.

I smiled with joy at this outcome.

"One day you will, I promise, just don't obsess over it, okay Issei?"

"Okay nii-san"

"Let's go find your parents and Irina now" He nodded and we made our way to the pavilion where the dancers were.

"Tou-san, Kaa-san, we are back" Something was wrong with this, however. I prayed I was wrong.

"Issei, Isaac, you're back, but where's Irina"

'Damnit' I think with alarm.

"Ehh, she came here to be with you guys" Issei said still not getting it.

Both parents looked at each other before they told Issei and I to wait at the car that was a little bit away.

'Time for another lesson' Anthem said suddenly as I fought the urge to run around and find her.

'Close your eyes and I will sense energies for you until you learn.'

Anthem said dead serious.

I close my eyes and suddenly I could feel. I could feel the life forces all around me, from the bugs, to Issei right beside me.

'The more you practice this the larger the area will get, right now you can barely feel everyone on the outskirts of the festival, one problem though'

'Yeah' I say catching on, it was hard to tell the different energies from one another.

'If you can't find her, then I suggest you find anything that feels off, and it may lead you to her'

'Now that you mention it, there is one large one, larger than a human'

I shudder and add

'It feels dark, could that be it?'

They didn't answer so I looked at Issei and said "Stay here Issei, I'll find her" He looked to be on the verge of tears, but nodded his head.

I quickly ran to the outskirts of the festival, the darkness hiding everything that wasn't lit up. I slow down my pace and come to the edge of a clearing when I see Irina laying down not moving.

"Irina!" I shout as I ran up to her. I look down at her and feel for a pulse.

'She's alive thankfully, only knocked out'

I grit my teeth in anger and suddenly hear slow footsteps behind me.

"It seems we've drug you out of the shadows, human" The women said. She had long black hair, and a beautiful face and body.

"Are you a devil or fallen angel?"

"The second one" She chuckled.

"What do you want with me!?" I ask in anger

"You hold a power within you that managed to take out a high-class devil in one move."

'How does she know that?'

"I'm guessing your wondering how we know that"

I say nothing as I gather heat within my body.

"I'm with the Grigori, and if you impress me, we'll let you join."

'This fucker knows about me, and if she knew that I'd be here, she also knows about the Hyoudou's'

I put my fingers up and I let the heat form at my finger tips.

"Oh~" I shoot one as a warning and she dodges, at a speed I can see.

"I suppose your stronger than a high-class devil?" I say with a smirk

She looked a little worried at that.

"How many wings do you have I wonder?" I say with an evil chuckle.

"Tch"

A pair of wings unfolds themselves from her back.

I nod to myself to confirm my suspicions. She is a single paired wings fallen angel, the weakest of them all. She must've been sent here as a canon fodder mission to recruit someone with a sacred gear like mine.

They don't know that I have a powerful one, just that I have one.

'Okay, so she's weak, but still way stronger than a human, I can't go all out without burning down everything around me, so let's try something new'

I smirk and and start shooting Higans

"Those will never hit me" She yells as she runs in a circle around me, when I suddenly stop.

She looks around, and notices that the flames were not only surrounding us but she was trapped in a dome of purple fire, with Irina on the outside not touching her, but they were also purple.

Then it hits her, these weren't some weak flame sacred gear, this was…

"I-I was following the orders to recruit you"

"If you touch these flames, even a little, do you know what would happen?" I say with no emotions.

She gulped

"What's your name fallen angel?"

"Agnas, your highness"

I laugh at that

"Leave and never come back and I will let you live"

"Y-yes" She says fearfully

I fight with all my being to control the flames, to make them disperse.

She flies away into the night.

'Controlling the flames was beyond difficult, not to mention manipulating them to form a dome.'

'Im extremely lucky she ignored the fire, thinking she could take it, it would have been way harder if she fought with a brain.'

I was panting on the ground trying to blink the spots I'm seeing in my eyes gone. I slowly walk to Irina and see that she was up and looking at me with an extremely shocked face.

'Damnit' I think trying to think how I was going to play this.

Thankfully a man came running up to me, the same man with ashen blonde hair, her dad, the exorcist.

'Double fuck' I stand up straighter and tensed up as he looked at me, and then at Irina.

"Irina, thank God you're safe." He said with relief. He stepped by her side and looked at me and he then also tensed up, preparing for a fight. Before it could escalate, Irina said

"Wait, papa, he saved me from the bad lady" His expression changed in an instant. I fall on my butt and sigh before he walked up to me and offered me a hand. "I'm taking you to my house tonight, we need to talk, young man, inform your parents." I scoff and tell him "Don't bother, they won't care, in fact it would inconvenience them" He blinked before nodding, he didn't say a word as we walked back to the car.

"Are the Hyoudou's okay?" He looked more at ease at the question.

"They're fine, they're at home waiting for you, I told them that you're staying over here tonight, however."

Irina kept looking at me and blushing the whole ride to her house.

'Not going to even think about the harem everyone gets when they're reincarnated here' I think sweatdropping.

We finally get to there house when he beckons me in the door.

"Irina we all need to have a talk, I wanted to shield you from this until you were older."

"What happened back there papa?" She said with some worry

"I'm sure your friend here already knows, but the supernatural is real"

She gasped "I knew papa was an exorcist, but didn't think about seriously"

"Anything you read in a tale, is probably true" He said continuing. She interrupted him with stars in her eyes

"Even angels?" He laughed and said "Yes, even angels"

"How did Isaac use flames then?" She asked

"Let's ask him" He said giving me a look.

'I guess the truth had to come out eventually' I think with a sigh.

"I have an object within me,created by God, called a Sacred Gear." As I say that I summon a small, purple flame in my palm.

Her dad nodded and said

"They're are many, but few are as dangerous as the one Isaac here has"

"He has Incernate Anthem, the Pinnacle of all flame type sacred gears." She looked at me with wide eyes. "Now that that's over, go upstairs and get ready for bed Irina, Isaac here will be sleeping on the couch tonight" She blushed at me again before nodding and got up and went to her room.

"Now then, what are your intentions with your power?"

I look him in the eye and I say with a shrug.

"Not sure yet, I just want to kill evil beings"

"Have you killed any humans?" He asked hesitantly.

"No why?"

"I saw you on the way back from a murder site, with a dead girl in the alley" I flinch at the mention of the girl.

"I tried saving her, but I arrived too late" I say actually showing emotion for once.

"I see, I'll be leaving with my family in a couple of months to Italy, I can put in a good word for you in the Vatican" He asks hopefully.

I quickly shake my head.

"I just want to stay here for now"

He nodded and after a moment of silence he added

"I want to thank you for helping my Irina out"

I nod my head casually.

"I'm tired, can I go to sleep" I say sheepishly. And I wasn't lying, I could barely keep my eyes open.

"Right, thanks again" He said and he headed upstairs.

I close my eyes and drift off to sleep
