The light streamed in through the window. The alarm clock was going off, and I hear light snoring coming from my side. I sigh as I looked down at Kuroka laying down at my side, naked.

'This has become a thing, hasn't it' I mutter. I get up trying not to wake her and damn

'Time for a cold shower… again' I say and then I go about my normal routine. As I brush my teeth, I hear Kuroka waking up.

"You have to go to school don't you -nya" I let out an audible sigh at the thought of school. Just like in the show, Kuoh Academy was an all girls school until recently. Not only annoying but dangerous with the devil governers running it.

'Keep under the radar, Isaac' I think to myself, having an English name will out me immediately as well. At least it will be easy, going to college level classes in my previous life. From what I know, they sort classes based on how well you do on your placement exam. Thankfully I was a smart kid and the questions were easy.

I reply to Kuroka with a sigh

"C'mon Issei, we need to check our placements before school starts."

We make our way to the placement board in the courtyard. I can only curse myself as I look at the results. The board listed the first fifty top results. And below mine was Sona Shitori. A pit formed in my stomach as I realize just how much attention this will bring me.

'I had to be in the top place out of all the first year students'

"Nii-san, look, you placed first!" I winced at him saying it so loud. Everyone turned to look at me.

~Sona POV~

I have always been on top of my studies, and always placed first with any intelligence event I attended. My chasity relies on it.

To think I would be beaten by a random human.

'I studied for months' I think with some anger. Another thought came to me,

I nod to myself and start my duties as the leader of the student council.

~Rias POV~

"Someone has beaten Sona" Akeno said with a smirk.

I laugh and say "So it seems, he's someone we need to keep an eye on."

"His 'brother' has one aswell, Koneko, what do they smell like?"

Koneko looked over with a serious look

"Summer smells like ashes, and Hyoudou smells like a dragon."

I nod at that.

"Let's just watch, Koneko, Kiba, keep an eye on them"

~Isaac POV~

'It's impossible' I think with sadness

'I stick out like a sore thumb' I add.

School is over now and I meet up with Issei at the school gate.

"How was your day, did you like it?" I turn to Issei. He had a stupid grin on his face.

My heart aches at the thought of Issei's life being taken.

I then decide.

Their date goes off without a hitch. Watching her pretend to be happy makes me sick to my stomach.

It's night time at the park and I climb up a tree behind Raynare, suppressing my energy, letting it fester.

~Raynare POV~

He looks like a weakling. Raynare looks at the boy in front of her.

'Nothing special, although the heat could be a problem' The heat around me keeps rising, until I start to sweat.

His eyes on the other hand were terrifying. They were a unique shade of green but there was something deeply disturbing about them.

The heat is unbearable now.

'Shit, he has a Sacred Gear, just like his brother'

I shrug off the heat before noticing that he has a cracked katana in his hand. The edge looks jagged. I laugh at the weak looking sword.

"That blade won't cut a steak, what are you thinking"

And then it ignites. I take a step back at the evil looking flames, they were also purple.

"What kind of sacred gear is this?" I say out loud in alarm.

Wait a minute, purple flames… this human has purple flames. No.

I jump back at the thought, trying to gain some space. I release my wings, and my instinct is telling me to get away from this human right now.

I quickly fly up in the sky trying to survive. Only to be sent hurtling to the ground when I look at my right wing.

"It's gone" The pain hit next.

I scream out loud at the sudden attack. I roll over and look at this human no, those eyes are not human.

He didn't say a single word as he walks up to me.

I quickly stand up and raise my hand to form a light spear, only for him to glare at me and in a second he's on me, with a sword through my chest.

The agony was worse this time, the flames hungrily eating my body from within.

My vision starts to blur as I take in my final gaze. My body was disintegrating from the stab. I look at my once beautiful skin, charred and scorched, and before I knew it…

~Isaac POV~

"Azazel-sama" Were her final words. I disperse the heat, and look at the ashes in the ground in front of me, before I spit on them.

I sheath my sword and turn and walk towards Issei. His eyes were glazed over, and behind him… was Rias. She looked like she just saw death incarnate. I take another step towards her, and she takes a step back. I sigh and sit down by his body.

"Will you resurrect my brother?"

She broke out of her shock only to say

"Are you sure?"

I glare at her and nod

She chants and his wounds start to slowly heal.

I sigh again and look at her, she looks less scared now at least.

"Take care of him, please" I say seriously before I turn around and walk home this time feeling alot lighter.

~Rias POV~

Incinerate Anthem, also known as the Chief Mourner's Crucified Stand of Purple Flame. A longinus. I don't think I've ever felt more terrified at the sight of those holy flames. And this human before me, has the capability of killing a god. His eyes seemed soft as he gazed at his brother. He takes a step forward to Hyoudou's' body. And I step back in fear. He sighed and asked me

"Will you resurrect my brother?"

'He wants me to, this could work out in my favor'

I nod and resurrect him.

Next chapter will be the meeting with Sona and Rias
