Beca still couldn't believe her life She had her dream job and the dream girl as well as the best group of friends she could ask for. Since joining Khaled's Label - life's been non-stop but she wouldn't change it for the world. Beca and Chloe soon moved out to LA into an apartment but with Beca getting more and more recognised they moved recently and brought a 3 bedroom house together, one room which has been converted into an office for Beca and the other for their guests who they have regularly, usually a Bella. It is located in a friendly high end but secure neighbourhood to keep their privacy and Becas mind at ease. Chloe works at the local school not far from their apartment teaching children. Aubrey was also in LA, she had previously moved thereafter receiving an internship at a law firm and her team-building camp got closed down due to health and safety risks. The bear trap comes to mind so it was nice that Beca and Chloe knew someone.

Beca ran into Jesse over a year back at her record label and asked him to work with her, not for her as she didn't want to have the witty remarks plus she always saw her and Jesse as equals - it wouldn't feel right being his "boss". Beca always knew Jesse's talent and although they never worked out romantically, she did love him and they always worked well when it came to music but they are just better off as friends. Deep down Jesse always knew Chloe had a special place in Becas heart, but he couldn't fault that. He can see how happy they both are and how they belong together. Shortly after accepting Becas job offer, Jesse was around Beca and Chloe's house more often as he didn't know that many people in the city, Aubrey was there for the same reason and the two hit it off. Beca found it amusing that Aubrey herself got a toner for Jesse but enjoyed watching her two best friends fall in love - something she couldn't predict but as Chloe kept telling her it was meant to be and fate works in mysterious ways.

Aubrey recently got promoted to a Junior associate in one of the top law firms in LA and is doing well for herself. She quickly moved her way up through the ranks after finding her tough personality and being an army brat gave her the strength and passion to work hard for each case she was given and therefore she still hasn't lost a case to this day. Something she is proud off although no one will ever win an argument against her.

The rest of the Bellas keep in touch. Stacie and baby Bella are the only other Bella currently in LA, and she too is always around the others at the house. It seems to be the friend's meetup hotspot and it's easier and more private. Stacie works at the local hospital allowing her to have flexible hours to suit Bella as well as a daycare to make it easier for her to be able to work but the friends are always willing to babysit when needed.

All the Bellas are still in close contact though, Emily will be moving to LA once she graduates, Beca hasn't told her yet but she is planning on signing Emily to her record and help produce her music when she moves. Amy is in Australia or somewhere exotic with all the millions she inherited but comes to LA whenever she feels like it. Cynthia Rose is married and her wife and herself recently adopted a baby. Flo's juice truck business hit off and now she is building more stores around America with the help of Jessica and Ashley. And lastly, no one really knows where Lily is but she drops by every now and then.

For the last 6 weeks, Beca has been in Europe on tour. Chloe couldn't go with her because of school but the two made it work by texting and facetime every day if they could between the two schedules and time difference. Although they both missed each other it was only for less than 2 months but it was the price they paid due to Beca's demanding job. Jesse was on tour with Beca for the first 4 weeks as that was how long the tour was due to last but it got extended by 2 weeks with additional dates but Jesse couldn't stay as he had to go with Aubrey on a Posen family staycation as well as meet up with a client and Beca didn't think it was necessary for Jesse to rejoin the tour again. Jesse worked with Beca on writing music as well as having his own clients scoring movies (just under Becas record label she opened up recently but she was still under contract with DJ Khaled) and the two worked well together. But right now Beca was on her way home. She had already texted Chloe that she was boarding the plane and would message her when she landed. There was a 10-hour flight from London to LA, giving Beca plenty of time to mix music.

Chloe had just finished work a few hours ago and was just doing some lesson prep for the next week so she did not have any interruptions with Beca over the weekend. Beca had taken the next few days off work to relax after the tour and her and Chloe were going to use it wisely. 6 weeks was a long time. After a few hours, Stacie came into the apartment and was desperately asking for Bella to be babysat as she was called into work and Aubrey was still at the office while Jesse wasn't picking up his phone. Chloe, however, didn't mind, Herself and Beca loved Bella and she knew Beca would be overjoyed to see the baby when she got back. Stacie felt guilty about interrupting the two co-captains' reunion but promised to make up for it. Chloe made herself and Bella dinner before snuggling up on the sofa watching a movie in await for her famous DJ.

Hours later the door opened to the house and Stacie snuck into the house, she had her own key. She awed at the sight of Chloe and Bella cuddled up on the Sofa. Bella lying on Chloe's chest while the redhead supported her back. They were so peaceful. Stacie quickly snapped a photo and sent it to before gently waking Chloe and taking Bella from her arms. "Hey, Sleepyhead". Chloe stirred half awake before smiling at Stacie and asking how work was. Stacie briefly replied not wanting to go into detail as she cooed at Bella in her arms before asking where Beca was. Beca. Chloe jolted up and checked the time and then her phone. No messages of her. Her flight was getting in at 9 pm. It's now 4:30 am. Stacie was slightly confused at first before seeing the panic on Chloe's face "maybe her flight got delayed or had to land somewhere" Stacie said trying to be reassuring, just to receive a "hmph" of the redhead. Chloe texted Beca and tried calling her but no answer. She wasn't sure what to do. It's too early to call Jesse or Theo.

"Why don't you wait till the morning, you may know more by then and Beca maybe home". Chloe just nodded at the response and agreed that perhaps she was overreacting trying to push aside the pit in her stomach.

"Erm, why don't you take the guest bedroom tonight, save you driving back home at this time, and you'll be able to see Beca too - I know she can't wait to see this one here," Chloe said pointing towards Bella. Stacie thanked her but was used to spending nights at the house after her night shifts. It was also easier on Bella. Once Stacie put Bella in the crib in the guest room she quickly sent Beca the photo of Chloe and the baby with the caption to get home soon. Chloe went back to bed for another night alone but convinced herself to ignore the growing pit in her stomach and to wait till the morning.
