I woke up in my room just like any other day, except it's not any other day. I immediately sat up in alarm, thinking about the fight that happened just before I blacked out.
"~Nya" I hear, along with light snoring.
I look down only to see black hair and blue hair around two girls' heads.
'No way' I think in alarm
I look at Tiamat in surprise. Before waking her up.
"Why the fuck are you here!?"
"Eh? What do you mean?" She says with an annoyed look.
"We were fighting, right?" I ask still freaked out
"We're betrothed now" She says simply
'What, Anthem, any help here'
'Figure it out yourself' They said unhelpfully
"We now have a contract, so take responsibility" She said with a smile
I look over to Kuroka and see her grinning at the interaction.
"You now have two brides -nya" She said playfully.
'Fuck'
I glance over at her to take in her form.
She had long, light blue hair, and huge breasts, with long legs-
'Shit focus'
She grinned at my look before opening her button up shirt, showing me a full view
'Damn, she figured me out'
"You can look as much as you want, husband"
I look to her lower body-
"Welp time for a shower" I say with a red face
They both laughed
I sit down in the living room after the shower, with them sitting on the couch besides me.
"I bet you're wondering what happened" I only nod my head.
"Y'know, I didn't always have one arm" She said, showing off her stump.
"You cut it off, you brute" She said with a fake glare
"What!?" I blacked out… I cut off her arm?
"That's right, you used your balance breaker and chopped it right off"
Wait, what?
"I… don't remember"
"I suspected that was the case, it seems you were possessed by your Sacred Gear"
'Anthem?' I ask them
'I helped you out, you can thank me later' They said with a smug tone
"Aren't you some super powerful dragon king?" I say in confusion.
"Indeed I am, I was lucky that you ran out of power, I would've perished otherwise" She says grimly
"I'm not that powerful" I say, still confused.
"Normally you'd be correct, but it seems you have your Sacred Gear protecting you"
'You're too interesting to die so soon' Anthem said again.
"It also seems you can communicate with him, judging by your look just now" She says with a smirk
'She's too smart for her own good'
"Yes, I can" I nod my head in confirmation.
'Why did Incinerate Anthem help you?" Kuroka asked with a curious look
"He said I'm too interesting to die so soon." I say, telling the truth.
"They must have high hopes for you, most users turn to ash as soon as the gear connects to their souls" My heart sinks at that, could that be true? They did say that I would've died if I didn't have that note.
We all sit in silence
"Your brother was worried about you, you should go speak to him today -nya" Kuroka
"That's the Boosted Gear boyo right?" She said with annoyance.
I sigh and say
"Why do you hate Ddraig so much?"
She huffed and said
"He took some of my treasure and then it got scattered around the world by thieves"
"I'll find them for you if you just be nice to my brother" I say seriously.
"That isn't a light undertaking, y'know" She says after a moment of thinking.
I stare her in the eyes and say
"I will find them"
She looked at me for a moment and sighed
"I believe you, dear husband" I smile at her and then get up to put on my jacket.
I look at them and say "I'm off~"
"Hurry back -nya"
I start my walk to the Hyoudou's and I think about what I'm going to do about Riser. I could kill him in the meeting, but Grayfia would intervene without a doubt, and fighting the Strongest Queen was something I want to avoid.
Damnit, maybe I should just let Issei handle it.
'You may not notice it, but he was at the strength of a Mid-Class Devil, at the forest'
Heh, seems he's serious in this world. If the wedding still happens, then maybe I could get in and kill him. Something to think about, for sure.
I knock on the door to see the mad face of Issei.
"Nii-san, I'm glad you're okay, but I need some advice." He said still mad.
'Uh oh'
I nod my head and go into the living room.
He looks at me and says
"Rias-buchou came to see me last night" I nod my head wanting him to continue.
"She's in trouble with a marriage contract with someone, she's very desperate to get out of it, what should I do, she looked so sad" Issei said, now sad.
"Fight for her, and protect her" I say simply.
"What if I'm not strong enough?"
"Then get stronger, try your best and I know you'll do fine" He nodded his head with tears. He then looked at me with determination and said
"I will, I will get stronger to protect you both"
He really cares about me
I smile at him.
"Buchou wants us to gather at the club, we should head out" I nod my head and we leave.
"We're all here, let's get on with this" Rias said with a hollow look. Someone else was in the room too, Grayfia herself. She gave a blank look at me.
We waited a moment and sure enough, a magic circle appeared in the room.
Riser Phenex appeared with a cocky grin. He casually sat next to Rias, acting like he owned the place.
"Rias, my beloved, are you ready to get married?"
She looked very annoyed and said
"I'll never marry you Riser!"
"It's a union between two high class families, our parents want this so you have to" He said with a grin
Issei jumped up and said
"Shut up you damn yakitori!"
'Never change, Issei'
He looked shocked before laughing.
"Riser thinks this pawn should be turned to ash"
"You won't do anything to my pawn, Riser!" Rias said protectively.
His power rose as he seemed to actually think about doing it
Grayfia intervened
"Stop it, there won't be any fights happening here today" She said with an icey tone.
"Even Riser must comply if the strongest queen says so" He says smugly.
I grit my teeth.
"How about a rating game, Riser, us against you, and if I win, you have to null this contract." Rias said not completely confident.
"Heh" before a large magic circle appeared, showing his full peerage.
"Riser has a full peerage, while you have some rabble, how about this, I'll give you two weeks to train, and the Rating Game will happen"
"Stop underestimating us you damn bird" Issei said out loud, causing Riser to nod towards the cat girl by his side.
She was on him in an instant, I then moved into action, I grabbed her arm mid lunge.
She looked alarmed at the sudden grab.
She looked up only to see my hollow green eyes.
I summoned purple flames to the top part of my arms, and it slowly crept done my arm to my hand...
Right before it touches her, Grayfia had frozen my arm up to the arm joint in an instant.
It was freezing cold but I summoned flames on it, melting it off, struggling to do so.
"Tch" I say darkly
Riser still looked so fucking cocky.
"That's enough" Grayfia said looking at me indifferently
I nod my head and look away.
"The Rating Game will be scheduled two weeks from now, overseen by the Maoh Lucifer"
I'm thinking about adding Grayfia to the harem, if so, then Millicas won't be apart of the story
