Chapter 3
Cole POV
I went into the Dining Room today to get some breakfast. There was pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, etc. I got 4 pancakes, a giant spoonful of scrambled eggs, and some bacon. I went to the table my teammates were, minus Kai, Sensei, and Misako. Sensei and Misako must've wanted something else. "Hey guys." I called out to them. They all waved with a smile or a grin; except for Zane. He looked kind of glum. "Hey, Zane, what's the matter? Usually you're not this sad." I told him. "It is nothing. I should not be thinking of what happened yesterday anyways. The past is in the past." He replied softly. emOhh. That thing. "Zane, don't worry about it. Those guys were being jerks. And besides, you have us." I assured him. He smiled a bit after I said that. "Thank you Cole, for the encouragement. Now, I would like to see more around this camp. How about you guys?" He asked. "I'm in. It's not like we have anything else to do." Nya said. "Here here." Jay added. "Ok then. Well, maybe we can ask someone to show us around here a bit more." I said. "Well, I'm your guide." A voice answered. It was Percy. "Oh hey Percy! Yeah, that would be great!" I called to him. After we were finished with breakfast, we started to head out of the Dining Room. Then a foot came out of nowhere, and tripped me. "Hey! Who did that?" I asked angrily. I looked around , and saw the girl from yesterday, Clarisse, smirking at me. "What's wrong dirt boy? Don't like getting a bit muddy?" She said with sarcasm in her tone. "Why I outta.." Was all I could say, before a green glow came out of nowhere. It looked as if it was coming from me. I looked up, and saw a green leaf above my head, kind of like Kai's, but a bit different. Chiron came up to me, and said, "All hail Cole, son of Demeter." Demeter? Who's that? Is it a boy or a girl? "Heh. Looks like we have a flower boy." Clarisse snickered. I got angry at that, and tackled her to the ground. "You think you can be a jerk, and get away with it? I don't think so!" I yelled at her. She was strong, but not as strong as me. "Hey, let me go you big oaf!" She shouted at me. "Not until you say sorry." I said. "Sorry." She mumbled. "What? I can't hear you." I told her. "I said I'M SORRY! She screamed at me. "Good." I replied. Then I held out a hand to help her up, but she denied it. I went to Chiron, who was on the other end of the Dining Room when me and Clarisse had that fight. "Hey, Chiron. Uh, can you tell me who my so called "god or goddess "parent is?" I asked. "Demeter is the goddess of harvest. So you would have the ability to grow plant life, and I suppose the power you have now too. With your strength; oddly." Chiron told me. Great. I get to grow flowers, and prance around in a meadow. Ugh. This is going to be torture. Especially with that Clarisse girl.
Jason POV
I was at Camp Jupiter, when I heard the news of strange people from "Ninjago". They apparently had a ship, like the Argo II, with the flying part and almost everything, and two of them had been claimed as demigods. A Greek Vulcan and Ceres.
