Leaning onto his first and most likely last best friend, the Black Swordsman...no, Kirito the swordsman looked on. If you were to ask what was going on here, not even he would be able to give an exact answer. The situation was an strange phenomenon, but definitely not unwanted.

There was no more underworld beneath their feet, but two doors. Asuna and Alice were on one side while Eugeo, Cardinal, and the younger version of Alice...her memory was standing on the opposite side. Kirito, wearing the outfit he had gained from the cathedral was leaning onto his best friend...Eugeo.

The boy he had spent two years with and made many wonderful memories, until up to his end in the final battle where he sacrificed himself to beat administrator. Eugeo might be gone now but...

"Our memories...are always here right?" Kirito spoke up finally after what felt like an eternity. Tears coming from his eyes, but his expression quickly shifted into a smile. His outfit changed to one that was pitch black, the power of incarnation flowing through. This was his persona, the Black Swordsman, the one that he has finally learned to accept.

"Yeah...from now on, it's up to you" Eugeo replied with a smile as he passed over his beloved sword, the Blue Rose Sword. Kirito took it into his hand, feeling the heavy weight and sliding it onto his back. The empty sheath to be exact. Once connected it made a 'shink' sort of noise, signaling that it was successfully placed onto his back with his other sword.

With no more words. The best of friends...childhood friends who had knew each other their whole life and had been through many trials, only to tragically split at the end, had looked at each other with smiles. Kirito and Eugeo gave each other a high five, Eugeo opening his hand and Kirito hitting it downwards.

Their position of hands quickly shifted, Kirito's hand coming from the bottom and Eugeo's hand from the top. Their hands connected once more, before finally moving back and going for a fist bump. After a few more seconds had passed, they moved their balled-up fists to their chest. The place where their memories will always be, no matter how much time has passed.

Looking at each other once more, they moved their arms towards each other, softly colliding before moving their fingers to their mouths. Finally they lifted them and turned away from each other, starting to walk once more. Before they did however, their hands came together for one more clap before fully separating to opposite spots. Eugeo moving towards the light and Kirito moving towards the dark, but in a way it both could be considered light.

Kirito turned his back to look at Alice and Asuna who were at the door waiting for him. "Stay cool" Kirito whispered as he came forever. Their journey in underworld has came to a end, to move on to greater things and events. He turned around once more as he placed his hand on the doorknob of what was assumingly the exit.

He was met with the looks of Eugeo, Alice, and Cardinal standing by an open door that was filled with light. They were all waving at the three, finally Cardinal at spoke up. "Bye" was what she simply said. Without further words, the walked through the door, not wasting any time, Kirito opened the door on his side. He walked in, Alice and Asuna following suit.

Both of the doors had vanished slowly, soon dissipating and turning into nothing but a former memory. The world itself had soon collapsed, leaving the imaginary space filled with darkness but also hope for a better future.

No one yet knew where the collection of souls that met and went would go. Or...maybe it did, the collection of 4 souls were supposed to be separating. The memory cubes being sent somewhere else, and the real worlders and Alice being sent away.

That's how it was supposed to be, however the STL malfunctioned at that moment. It was as if it was overloaded, or something interfered with it. The STL would often have moments where it could send people to completely different locations, whether it be the future or a whole different dimension.

This had happened to Kirito twice months ago, in his case 2 years ago and more. No one knew what caused such an event, especially with this technology. But it was happening once again, unknown to the 4 group of souls that the STL had gathered up.

Going through the door, Kirito expected to be met with the view of the ocean turtle, awakening in the real world after his fierce and exciting adventures in underworld. Instead he was he was met with something much more different. It was not underworld as far as he knew, and it didn't look like the real world either.

He wasn't an expert on land and locations, but the fact that this wasn't japan or even earth was evident by the weight he was feeling on his back and the outfit he was wearing. On his back were the Night Sky Sword...not only that but the Blue Ros-...no this was different.

He pulled the sword out and it was much more different than what he was expecting, it was the player-made sword known as Dark Repulser. The second hint he was given was the amount of shops here, and one was called an dust shop. As far as he knew, dust wasn't a thing that could be sold. At least not a huge shop of 'dust'. Especially since taking a peak inside, it was all multi-colored. As he held his old blade he had looked down at the area. It appeared to be that he was in a alleyway...no, they were in a alleyway.

Kirito was standing by an unconscious Alice, Asuna, and...Eugeo...! He was not sure if he was dreaming or if this was real, but as far as he knew this was real. He quickly drew a Stacia Window but there was nothing, this had to be some sort of real world...or virtual? He wasn't sure...there had to be a glitch in the STL or something similar...

But currently, that was not important to the swordsman. Eugeo was alive- in this world he was once again alive. He had a chance to bring his soul cube back...assuming it still existed in this point of time. There was way too many questions he had...and he doubted that he'd get answers even if he thought upon it for a long time

"What did I get myself into this time..."

AN: Yo! So...sorry I've been pretty dead again. Though I know you're asking..."why are you making another fanfic!" Well...my mind runs wild and I get cool ideas for stories. That being said, welcome to my SAO x RWBY fanfiction. Though I do promise I won't make anymore fanfictions and will focus purely on the three(4?) I already have. Uh...don't expect consistent uploads, I'm pretty busy and pretty lazy. Though I will try my best here, I just hope you all enjoy my crazy ideas.

That being said, see you all in the next chapter! For whatever I update next
