She had missed calls from everyone she cared about. She hadn't eaten or had anything to drink. She was exhausted and her body and energy were spent. Karlee remained in her bed, painfully trying to work out what she would do when she was fired, how she was going to tell her friends. It hurt to think and her hand was just adding to the pain. What would she do when she left? No other company would have her, not to mention she wouldn't have a fanbase left.

Dean had been at her door a few times since he left her hours ago. He knew she wanted to be alone and as much as he didn't want to think the worst, he was scared she tried anything stupid. It had taken him so much to walk away each time. He had spent the last few hours trying to figure out how to help her and try to get her to talk to him. He was just as worried as she was and it wasn't fair that she was shutting him out. He wanted to help but she was making it impossible

He had faintly come up with a plan after it took him adding up two and two. Sofia must have had something to do with this, her being nice the past few weeks must have been a cover up. He had to talk to Karlee first. He had to talk everything through with her first, make sure that nothing went unspoken and that she knew what he was planning. If he didn't talk with her, rumours would fly.

Karlee was laying in bed when the knocking on her door began and she knew fine it was Dean. She wanted to be alone, she didn't want him there whilst she tried to get her head around things. This was something she must have caused, therefore had to get out of.

"Karls, you need to let me talk to you, I know how we can figure this out." He sounded convincing. He really did. Karlee sighed and stood up, if he had a plan, he had one better than her. She opened the door and let it swing open, retreating to the bed and opting to sit on the bed. He followed her in and leant against the door once he shut it. He opened his mouth to speak when she held up a hand to urge him not to.

"I want to make one thing clear. Only me and you know about this right now. I've had heaps of missed phonecalls from Alice but I want to be the one to tell them what is going on, especially if I can't fix this." He nodded. She wanted to be in control of the impact and he totally understood where she was coming from.

"I want you to understand that this isn't something that I necessarily want to happen, but it's the only way I can think of..." He trailed off but arlee urged him to go on.

"Ok, here is the plan..."

"I fucking hate you. I wish I had never met you!" Karlee screamed, booting the door open and pushing him out into the corridor. Her body shook with her anger and she launched a hair dryer off him. Dean narrowly avoided stitches as he ducked in time.

"The feelings mutual. This past few years have been the biggest waste of my time." He roared back, his face red from the effort. Their noise had drawn people out of their rooms, gawping at the seemingly happy couple as they continued to scream at each other in the middle of the hotel. Tears poured from Karlee's eyes, the emotion and stress being too much.

"I'm finished with you! I never want to see you again!" She screamed, slamming the door with every ounce of her strength. She leaned against the closed the door, her hand clamped to her stomach as she tried to calm down from the shakes that were emitting from her body. Dean stood on the other side.

"You've done me a favour!" He retaliated, booting the door. He yelled a couple of shallow insults, glaring at everyone that stood outside. His eyes flew to Sofia who was standing at the end of the hall. He ignored her concerned look and storme off towards the stairs, needing outside for a breather.

Karlee had been in front of her laptop for a few hours when her phone buzzed again. Alice was concerned, convinced that the shouting she heard earlier was the two of them. Karlee sighed as she ignored the call, knowing she wouldn't be able to tell her friend what was really going on. Karlee had been thinking and sadly, had come to the realization that being fired could be a blessing in disguise. Never had she thought that before. Never.

She would lose her friends, her fans and her career. But where she was at that moment in her life, her friend were the only positive. Her career was in tatters. For how hard she had worked in her career, her title chances she had had in WWE were short lived and dissapointing. Her fans were being messed about and they would eventuallyforget her if she slipped into the dark corners of the Diva's Division.

Her love life was a whole different problem altogether. She had spent so many years on her own, being alone but happy. She had an amazing career. Then she met Dean and her life turned upside down, in a good way. They had been through so much, things that would kill a normal couple, but they had stuck it out. When she had suggested a break, and he told her she needed to find herself, she thought she could do that and still live her life as she normally would. But could she?

This was the question Karlee was battling in her brain: Is fighting for her job really worth it?

She raked her hands through her hair as she lay her head down on the desk in her room. Her mind tried not to wander to Dean, but it did.

She jumped slightly when her door slammed. She whizzed around in her chair to see Alice standing in front of her, dangling some paper clips from her fingers.

"Don't ignore me. Or I will break in." Even Karlee had to admit, that was impressive. She offered her a seat and something to drink. She would have to tell her what was going on. It wasn't fair to keep ignoring her but it wasn't going to be easy.

"Can you jut tell me what the hells going on? Karlee, are we okay?" Karlee let out a small chuckle. Trust Alice to think it was something she had done. Karlee shook her head and took a seat opposite her. Her eyes were stinging already as the petite diva kept her stare trained on her.

"Steph and Vince cisited me this morning to tell me that my drugs test had come back with traces of HGH in them." Alice gasped and her hand came up to slap her mouth.

"Why? You don't take anything? What does that mean?" She was confused, that much was obvious.

"I have no idea how it got into my system, I really don't. But because of the WWE's policy, it is something I will lose my job over." She didn't want to tell her that they may be able to fix it all. She didn't want to give Alice flase hope. The small petite burst into tears, proper crocodile tears too. Karlee grabbed her into a hug.

"But you can't leave me, I'll have nobody!" She sobbed. Now Karlee felt bad. She hugged her tighter and rubbed circles into her back. Alice tried to stop, looking up at her slightly older friend.

"So you are leaving?" It was as if she was asking again just to make sure. Karlee nodded and Alice stood up, facing Karlee.

"No, there must be someone behind this. I mean, you don't do any kind of drugs. God we have to bribe you into taking painkillers! This isn't fair!" She was angry now, going through the emotions just as Karlee did. Karlee was hating the idea of leaving the woman she saw as her little sister. Alice started pacing.

"Ali, there is nothing we can do but wait for Stephanie to call me back and talk about it a little more. I may be leaving but I won't stop coming to see you! I could even train you!" She was trying to make light of the situation but the despir and raw emotion in Alice's eyes showed it wasn't helping.

"Listen honey, go back to your room, let Roman know why I'm being a recluse. I just need some time to wrap my head around things. I promise to call you in the morning." Alice jumped into the hug that Karlee offered. This was not making anything any easier.

He had had way too much to drink but at least he felt a little more at ease. He set his phone to what he wanted it to do, technology was never his best skill but he managed. He could still walk and talk so he wasn't exactly just drunk. He leapt up the stairs of the hotel, knowing exactly where he wanted to go. Room 315. He strutted towards the door at the end of the lobby, stopping at the selected door. He knocked slowly and loudly. He took a deep breath and let it out. The door opened and he smirked, launching forwards and grabbing her face, crashing his lips onto hers. She gasped but kissed back with urgency and passion. He walked her backwards and into her room, kicking the door shut, their lips still tangled together.

"Dean, what's going on?" The woman gasped. Dean pulled her back so they were looking at each other.

"I don't know what's taken me so long, but I realized today that I want you. God, I always have. Take me back? Please?" Dean begged.

"Of course. Are you finsihed with Karlee?"

"Of course I am, I don't know why it took so long, maybe I just realized your the one I want, Sofia."
