As she packed the last of her things into her suitcase, Karlee sighed at the though of not having to pack nightly anymore now that she was finished almost. It had been a long process and she had had to do some severe thinking, but she was happy with the proposal she gave Stephanie a few hours earlier. She would have one more match, a friendly between her and Alice and unbeknownst to the crowd, and currently Alice, that would be her last match. She hadn't told anyone yet that she was leaving the company and the country. She knew there would be a lot of upset people but surely they would understand when they realised it was the right thing for her to do? Stephanie had, but not before giving her a lecture about everything Dean had done for her that night to try and clear her name. She would be eternally grateful and his efforts wouldn't go unnoticed. She was leaving with a clear name and no black mark next to her efforts. For that she was happy.

Karlee had settled the idea of telling everyone after Kaitlyn and Seth's wedding as they got married on the Sunday but everyone had to be at a live RAW show the following day, which was also her last night too. She had had her final measures for the dress fitting and with their wedding only being a few days away, she was allowing herself to be happy and free of all the worries that had surrounded her the past few months.

She had lived out her dream, and that was to be a wrestler for the WWE. That dream had been plagued with the taunting from Sofia and former friends but she had made it through with the help of new ones, and of course Dean. She didn't know what she was going to do without him. Karlee had come to the realisation that for Dean to come with her, he would have to leave his career behind. And she just couldn't find it in herself to ask him to do that. He would probably follow her around the world, but she wouldn't be able to live with herself knowing what he had left behind. She knew what she had to do and it broke her heart to even think about it. There would always be the horrible niggling thought at the back of her head until she did tell him though. Did he still love her?

Butterflies were tearing around Karlee's stomach as she swirled her coffee around in her cup, waiting for it to be cool enough to drink. She was on edge and if this was how she was going to be telling Seth and Kaitlyn, she couldn't imagine how it would be for any of the rest of them. She had settled on the idea of telling Seth and Kaitlyn now as not to put a dampener on their wedding or putting Kaitlyn under excess stress, especially when she was pregnant. She glanced up from her position on the old wooden chairs, just outside the cafe they had agreed upon to see them walking towards her. She had bullshitted her way through a phonecall, saying she needed their advice on something. Kaitlyn was glowing, the bowling ball size lump underneath her maxi dress clearly telling everyone she was expecting. She looked good for it though. Seth was clinging to her hand, something he did a lot nowadays. Karlee guessed it was a protective thing. They both smiled, giving the waitress their orders before sitting down across the small wooden table from her, not before Karlee stood to give her best friend a hug.

"My gosh Kait, you look amazing!" Karlee gushed, sitting down and sipping her coffee, burning her tongue in huge process.

"I certainly don't feel it. I've lost my ankles and my ass is getting huge. Don't get me started on my boobs." The two women let out a roar of laughter while Seth sighed, a silly smile on his face.

"As long as he's treating you right, massaging those cankles I hope?" Karlee joked and Kailtyn shot her a sarcastic glare.

"He's a babe. Running out to the shops at 3am for me sure reassures me I'm marrying the right person." They made eye contact and reached for each other's hands. They were so loved up and it made Karlee's stomach knot. Painfully.

"Anyway, never mind us, what's up?" Karlee sighed. Her friend was looking at her with so much confidence, she hoped she took this okay."

"I sort of lured you both her under false pretences." She squinted her eyes behind her sunglasses. She felt guilty already and the look on Seth's face told her he smelt a rat

"Is everything okay Karls?" Seth asked, leaning forwards to listen better, Kaitlyn doing the same.

"I just want you to remember that I love you two and that babas in your belly so much. Remember that please."

"Karlee your scaring me!" Kaitlyn cried, grabbing her hand.

"I'm leaving." Karlee blurted out, whipping her glasses out and taking hold of Kaitlyn's hand with her free one. Tears filled up Kaitlyn's eyes and Karlee felt so guilty.

"You have to understand that this is the right decision to make for me at this point in my life. My last match with the WWE is the day after your wedding and I'm taking the red eye out of the country after that." Kaitlyn sobbed, clambering to dry her tears so she could speak.

"Why?" She started to regain her breath but it was hard for her to hear her best friend wouldn't be around at the most crucial part of her life. She was meant to be her first port of call when so ring went wrong on her honeymoon, or when she needed a babysitter that the last minute.

"I need to go. I don't know what I want anymore. I don't even know if I like my job anymore. And Dean..." Seth interjected.

"I understand." He nodded. Seth knew a lot more than he let on. He got it from Dean and anything Karlee told Kaitlyn probably got rallied by him as well.

"Please don't hate me Kait. I'll be at your wedding and I'll be there for the babies. I promise. I just need to figure out what I want. And I can't do that when everything I'm so unsure of is constantly around me, the WWE and Dean. It's not fair to me or him." Kaitlyn had calmed down visibly since she had explained and with a few reassuring rubs from her fiancé, she had stopped crying completely.

"I'll never hate you. I understand too. It's hormones." She let out a shaky laugh.

"And thank you for telling us before the wedding." Seth added, Kailtyn nodding.

"I haven't told anyone else yet so apart from me and you two, only Steph knows and I need to be able to tell everyone myself." They nodded, understanding completely.

"When are you going to tell Dean?" Seth asked.

"Sooner rather than later hopefully. I don't want to just drop it on him. But at the same time, I don't want him to think I hate him." Kaitlyn sighed.

"Do you still love him?" Karlee stopped, all air leaving her body. Did she? She looked up at her two friend, tears in her eyes.

"It's okay sweetie. I understand." Kaitlyn got up and wrapped her arms around her friend. Not letting her stand up.

It was nice to be at home. Karlee had been removed from the house shows, per her request and had gone home to pack her things whilst Dean and the other two were working. She had arranged some of her things to go into storage and the rest of her things she was going to ask either Nikki and Brie or Alice to go through for her. She had a removal company coming to take her things and fly them over to her cousins house. She never imagined that going through her belongings would be so hard but she had to work fast.

She had six hours before Dean, Alice and Roman got back and then they were all piling into a car and driving to the hotel where they were staying for Seth and Kaitlyn's wedding. That would be a challenge in itself since they were sharing a room although Seth said he would try and get them separate beds. She sat in a heap in the middle of the bedroom they used to share. Her closet had been cleared, her clothes packed into vacuum bags. She was stuck what to do with all the stuff she used as ting she could give to Alice but the rest she wanted to keep. Karlee leaned forwards to pull out another bag when something fell out onto the floor. She let out a wry smile. Dean's old phone. One he had when her and Dean had first started dating. She was surprised when it flashed to life with a click of a button. There would be nothing on it now but things like that always interested Karlee. Her heart pranged when she saw the background of his phone. It was of her, laid out on the bed, a sheet covering her modesty while she slept, her hair splayed out on the bed. He always told her that was his favourite picture of him. She flicked through his pictures, not surprised when most were of her. She had always lectured him for snapping at her, especially when she thought she looked her worst. She sighed, clicking away from them. The little green icon was screaming at her to open it but Karlee wasn't the type to go through messages. She shut her eyes and clicked on it anyway. She wasn't surprised when she saw her name at the top, followed by Seth and Roman. She remembered when he broke his phone. He threw it against a wall when a nurse told him that Karlee wouldn't be getting out of the hospital for a few weeks because of her condition.

'Any news? Stay strong brother.' Her heart jammed in her mouth as she noticed the date. It was hours after her stabbing and after Dean had told everyone what had happened. She scrolled down to see his reply, tears filling her eyes.

'Nothing yet man, what the hell am I supposed to do if she doesn't pull through this? She's my everything. She's my future.'

Karlee dropped the phone and clutched her knees to her chest, breathing shaky as she tried to control her emotions. Tears rolled onto her leggings, soaking the dark fabric. She couldn't face Dean. He would have to wait until after the wedding. She shakily picked the phone back up and switched it off, replacing it where it came from. There was this horrible lump in her throat and she couldn't get rid of it. There was this dread just hanging over her and no matter how hard she tried, it wouldn't go away.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Karlee yelped as the voice behind her made it's presence known. She thought everyone was out so her fright wasn't uncalled for. She turned to face the voice and knew that she would have to do some explaining.

"Alice..." She started. She couldn't tell her now. Why was she even back?

"Are you packing?" Alice sounded hurt already. She crossed the room and sat down next to Karlee, glaring at the things with a confused expression.

"Let me explain myself and promise you won't kill me." Alice looked up at her and instantly shook her head.

"Don't you dare tell me your leaving. Don't you dare." Karlee dropped her head. This was going to be harder than she had ever anticipated. Alice scrambled closer and gripped her head, making Karlee look at her.

"Tell me what's going on !" She cried tearfully, looking into Karlee's eyes for some sort of explanation. Karlee sighed and took her friends hands in hers.

"I was going to tell you, just after the wedding. I've decided to leave WWE and move away for a bit." Alice choked back sobs, nodding to show she understood.

"Leaving? When?" She croaked.

"My last match is on Monday night Raw. I've asked Steph if you would do me the privilege of being my last opponent." Alice cracked and the tears fell.

"Of course I will." She threw her arms around Karlee and squeezed tight, trying not to weep all over her shirt.

"I feel bad for leaving you, your like my little sister. But know that I love you so much and I hope you get everything you deserve out of your career and that you and Roman are happy as can be." Alice nodded.

"Where will you go? What's Dean saying about all this?" Karlee hung her head in shame. Dean should have been ideally the first person she told but she just couldn't bring herself to do it.

"I'm staying with my cousin in the UK for a bit. Then I might travel or someone but I'll be back for Kaitlyn's babies coming. I wouldn't miss that. I'm going to catch a red eye on Monday nig and that's me. My phones getting turned off. My twitters getting deleted. I'm switching off."

"Your running away." Alice mumbled. Karlee knew it was true. Her mind was so clouded and she was being selfish in leaving. She was leaving Kaitlyn, her best friend of twelve years just after she started married life. She was leaving Alice just as her career was about to take off. And she was leaving Dean. All so that she could decide what she wanted.

"I know honey. And I wish I could stay here and figure it all out but it's too hard. I need to be away from everything. I haven't told Dean yet, to answer your other question." Alice let her head fall onto the bed and she took a deep breath.

"When are you telling him? You will tell him won't you ?" She asked, suddenly wondering if. Karlee would just up and leave. Surely she wouldn't...

"I will, when the times right." Alice dropped her head softly onto Karlee's shoulder.

"I love you Karlee. Your like the mother I never had but your my best friend. Don't forget about me." Karlee smiled weakly, wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

"I could never forget about you."
