Lachlan knocks on the door to Jack's office and hears a faint 'come in' before opening the door, they all followed in. Jack watched on confused, Chad Montez looked furious, Lachlan Montez looked pale and scared and his son was holding onto two young girls with tears streaming down his face. "Guys, what's going on?"
Lachlan turned to Troy. "He doesn't know?" Troy shook his head mutely. "Ok, well Chad, you're in no head space of thinking clearly, but this is getting too much for us Bro. We're getting Coach's help no matter what you say, so let's just sit down, get the full story from everyone and see if we can find a way to help Gabi." Lachlan turned his attention to the twins, seeing that Jasmine was still quite distraught, he didn't want to take her out of Troy's arms so he gestured for Imogen to come to him, which she did and he pulled her into his lap. "Alright Girls, can one of you tell me how you got here?"
Seeing that her sister was still upset, Imogen answered. "We were at Kindy and Mom and Austin came in and took us. They put us in the car and drove us here. We were so scared so when they stopped at your school, I unlocked the door and ran but they caught Jassy. I ran in here and found Ella and Troy -" Imogen couldn't continue anymore so Lachlan rubbed her back and turned towards Troy to continue.
"Imi had come in and Gabriella worked to calm her down, when she was, she asked how she got here and where Jas was. We messaged you guys and that's when Austin and Casey came in with Jas. Gabriella - she gave herself to them to save Jas. I tried - I tried to stop her, I could've taken Jas from him and she'd be here and safe but she wanted me to stay out of it. She handed herself over to keep Jas safe, as soon as they saw you guys coming, they dragged her away. I'm so sorry, I should've -"
Lachlan cut him off. "No Troy, you didn't do anything wrong. You did what Gabi asked, to let us handle it ourselves but now, we need you because this has gotten too big for us to handle." He turned to Jack. "And Coach, if we can ask, we need your help too."
"Of course Lachlan, whatever is needed, we'll get your sister back."
Lachlan nodded slowly and Troy noticed he still looked pale. "Bud, what's wrong, you've been white as a ghost since you spoke to the police... What did you find out?"
Lachlan sighed. "They know who Austin is and this isn't the first time he's done this. He's been arrested before... Something's gonna happen to Gabi, something bad. He - he's gonna hurt her if they don't get there in time."
Troy could fill the tears brimming his eyes. "Is there anything we can do? Can we go after them?"
The freshman shook his head. "They said not to. They said to stay at school and leave it to them, they'd call as soon as they find something or find her."
"So we just have to sit here and do nothing?" Chad growled.
Jack was the one to pull him up. "Chad I understand why you're feeling this way but taking your frustration out on people who are trying to help the situation is not helping and it certainly isn't helping Gabriella. Try and reign in your temper to focus on your sister, she's the one that matters here."
Troy turned to his dad. "So we just have to sit here and wait?"
His dad sighed. "I'm afraid so Bud."
