The young blond turned his back and leaned against the rock the young merman sat perched on. "All thou seeth hereth, the meadow, the forest, and the house within was once upon a time the territory of mine and my mother. Father hath left us not long after mine birth. Mother perished at the hands of human passerbys mayhap five years later. They hath exposed her to direct sunlight and madeth me watch as an example. I hath been fighting over the territory with werewolves ever since. They doth seem to hateth water so I find mineself safest hereth neareth the water and in this cave." Zero explained. X looked at the lake and then the cave from atop the rock, seeing the start of an underground passage for the water. "Werewolves don't like water? Would your kind be harmed by water?" Zero shook his head. "Only if it happeneth to be holy water. Holy water burns vampires, much liketh thy sun."
X slowly crawled off the rock and splashed into the lake, looking at the water entering the cave. Zero turned and looked at him. "Thou wanteth to see, yes?" X looked up and nodded. "If its ok with you." Zero shrugged gently. "Goeth ahead." With that X dove into the cave, following the water. He saw many bright crystals glowing in the water in colors of green, blue, and purple. The crystals somehow relaxed him as he found an area of the water to come up to. He came up in a wide area of water, looking around the cave. There were more crystals, some even in red on the ground. X could see Zero coming into the cave. "Its beautiful in here. The water is so warm too." Zero grinned slightly. "I am glad thou liketh it. Thou art welcome to stay if thou wish." X looked up at Zero as he came closer. "Thank you. I'm sorry about your mother though." Zero shrugged as he sat down near X, allowing his legs into the warm water. "Humans art rare here. It is but mine bad luck, says I." X swam close to Zero until he was beside him, noticing some more features he had originally overlooked on Zero. "I have pretty bad luck too. You're not alone there." Zero nodded gently. "Soeth I hath heard." X looked Zero over in the light provided by all the bright crystals. Zero's blue eyes seemed to glow in the dark and a small pink crystal of the same nature was tied around his neck. X noticed the hairs growing on Zero's chest, gently touching Zero's curvy sides, and admiring a thick trail of hair from Zero's navel that led into his shorts. "Your traits are foreign to me, but they're beautiful. Do all vampires look as beautiful?" Zero was glad X couldn't see him blush. "Well, we art a seductive kind of being. Many of us looketh very human liketh. This is to decieveth our main prey, which is humans. Some other creatures art human liketh too, nevertheless not all art vampires. Though, I supposeth, for the purpose of hunting, many of us can be rather attractive." X blushed a little, snuggling Zero's side. Zero's warmth helped him feel safe within the cave. "What other creatures are there? Any creatures like what you described?" Zero carefully rubbed X's back. "Incubi and succubi, demons who seduce the weak and rob them of life. Centaurs, half horse, half demons that art often friendly though can also be rather lusty. Demons and imps, devious sometimes human liketh creatures that seek to ruin lives of others. They art thought to cometh directly from the underworld. Thy kind, merfolk and sirens to a lesser extent because thou art limited to water." X snuggled Zero's side more, admiring Zero's happy trail. "Are any a threat to me, you think?" Zero shook his head. "No, as long as thou stayeth in the lake and the cave. Thou and the sirens art quite lucky. I am being hunted by a local succubus. She wanteth me. To mate with and beth her slave for eternity."
X shook his head, feeling uncomfortable with someone wanting to take his new partner. "I can't allow that. I think I want you to myself." Zero pulled X into a gentle careful hug. "Thou art endearing. Methinks mayhap I wanteth to be thine as well."
