Troy and Gabriella were in chemistry when her phone rang. The teacher, who was aware of the situation, nodded for her to answer. "Hi Gabriella, I'm sorry to have to do this, I know you're in class but the girls are not doing well today. They keep asking for you and when we told them that you were at school, they became quiet and withdrawn. We've tried talking to them and everything we can think of, but their only response is that they want you and that they don't feel well. So if it's alright, I think you might have to take them home."

"Ok, that's no worries. Thank you Emma and tell the girls that I'm coming to pick them up, I'll be there soon."

"Thanks Gabriella, see you soon."

Troy looked over at her concerned. "Is everything alright Brie?"

She shook her head. "Jas and Imi's teacher called and said they haven't been doing too well today. I have to go pick them up and take them home."

"Alright then, we'll go tell Mr Hughes and we'll go get them." He saw that she was about to protest. "No, we're both leaving to get them and there's no way to change my mind." She sighed and nodded before they walked up to the teacher's desk.

"Mr Hughes, may we please be excused from class. My sisters' teacher called and they have to be taken home."

The teacher nodded. "Yes Miss Montez I'm aware of your situation, Mr Bolton, why must you accompany Miss Montez?"

"Gabriella and her siblings have been staying at my house since my parents are their guardians. Gabriella doesn't have a car so she has no way of getting her sisters home. If you'd like proof, you can talk to my dad about it."

"No Mr Bolton, it's fine. You're both dismissed, just make sure you do the homework and that you sign out before you leave."

They both nodded and walked out of the chemistry lab, signing out before they went to the kindergarten to get Jasmine and Imogen. When they arrived at the classroom, they noticed that all of the other children were playing outside while one of the teachers was sitting with the twins inside. As soon as the girls saw Troy and Gabriella, they ran to their sister and hugged her. "Hey girls, are you ok." They only nodded in response and hugged her tighter so she turned to the teacher. "Thanks for waiting with them and for calling me, I'll sign them out and take them home." The teacher nodded before going outside to supervise the other children. Gabriella pulled back from the girls. "Ok, one of you is going to have to let Troy carry you."

Jasmine nodded and walked over to Troy, the boy lifting her up and kissing her forehead before she buried her head in the crook of his neck. He smiled, same as her sister. He turned to Gabriella who stood up with Imogen in her arms. "Alright, we should get these two home." She nodded and they walked out to his car before driving back to the Bolton house.

When they got there, they took the girls into the living room and sat down on the couch, keeping the twins in their lap. Gabriella faced them both. "Ok, does one of you want to tell me what happened at kindergarten? What's wrong girls?"

Jasmine spoke up timidly. "We were at kindy and you went to school."

Gabriella looked at her quizzically. "Ok Angel, but why was that upsetting you and Imi. Miiss Emma told me that you guys didn't feel well."

Imogen spoke up. "Austin hurt you at school when we went to kindy."

The realisation hit Gabriella like a freight train and her heart broke for her younger sisters. "Oh my gosh Baby Girl, no don't think like that. Girls you don't have to be scared of going to kindy because you think that something's going to happen to me. Jas come here." She took both her sisters into her arms, hugging them tight. "Listen to me, Mom and Austin have gone to jail and they're going to stay there for a very long time. You don't have to worry about them coming back. You never have to worry about getting hurt again. You can go to kindy and not be scared ok?"

Jasmine whimpered. "I don't want you to get hurt Ella."

Gabriella kissed her forehead. "I know you don't Baby, I know neither of you do but I promise that it's not going to happen. Austin's gone now so I'm not going to get hurt. You can go to kindy without worrying and you can have fun with your friends just like you used to ok? Please don't worry about me." They nodded slightly and cuddled closer to her chest. "I love you girls so much, you know that? I love you more than you'll ever know."

"We love you Ella."

She kissed the top of her sisters' heads and her eyes met Troy's, he was smiling sadly. She gestured for him to join her and felt as he brought her and her sisters into his arms. He whispered in her ear. "I love you so much Baby, you're an amazing sister and you're the best girlfriend I could ever have. You'll never know how amazing you are and how much I love you."

She leant closer to him, kissing his cheek. "I love you Wildcat, you're the best boyfriend ever and I love you always."

That's how they spent the afternoon, Troy keeping the love of his life and her little sisters in his arms.
