By the time they arrived in California, it was quite late so they weren't able to go to any of the places that Troy had planned on their trip. They bought some dinner on the way home from the airport and drove to their hotel room. Gabriella looked around in awe as they got their room key and walked up to their room, having never stayed at a hotel before. When they got inside the room, Troy placed the food on the table before sneaking behind Gabriella and lifting her up; he carried her to the bed and placed her down before sitting down beside her. "Troy this is beautiful."
He smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "I'm glad you like it. Happy Birthday Brie." She smiled in response and connected their lips in a sweet kiss. When they pulled apart, Troy continued. "We got here a bit late so we probably can't do much tonight, but I was planning on taking you to Disney Land tomorrow and then you can decide where and what you want to do for the rest of the trip." The grin on her face melted his heart and he had to reconnect their lips. "I want you to have the best birthday ever Baby, you deserve it."
"I love you so much Wildcat, this is amazing, by far the best present I've ever gotten."
"I love you Brie, always... and speaking of presents, I have a couple more gifts that I want to give you, they probably won't be as good as coming to California but i hope you like them."
"Troy, they're from you, I'm going to like anything that you get me but you've already given me too much."
He shook his head. "There's no such thing, I said I was going to spoil you and that's what I plan to do." He stood from his place beside her and reached for the gift bag and watched as she opened the contents. Her face lit up as she pulled out a scrapbook filled with photos of them together and by herself, a keychain with I Love You in 100 languages and a bracelet with their initials and the day they got together.
"Troy, this is beautiful, I-I love it." She had no more words so she launched herself into his arms, burying her head in the crook of his neck before whispering. "Thank you."
He hugged her to him. "Anytime Baby, you deserve the world." He lifted her chin and took the bracelet from the box, putting it on her hand. "I wanted to do something special so you'd know that I'll always love you." Once he clasped the bracelet, he showed the matching one on his wrist.
"You're amazing Troy." Her eyes drifted to the scrapbook. "How did you get that many photos?"
He grinned. "I like to take them when you're not looking." He caressed her cheek. "You're so beautiful Brie, and I know you don't see it, but I wish you could. I wish you could see yourself the way I do because you are the most beautiful girl in the world."
She leaned into his touch but disregarded his statement. "I think you're a bit bias Baby but thank you. I love all of the gifts and I love you, always."
"I love you always Brie." He looked at the time before turning back to her. "It's getting late so we should think about heading to bed soon, we'll have a big day ahead of us tomorrow but what do you want to do for now? I'd suggest a movie but that might be a bit long, we could put on Friends or something?"
Gabriella nodded. "That sounds good Wildcat." Troy turned on the episode and laid on his back, pulling his girlfriend to rest against him. She snuggled into his side with her head resting on his chest as he traced random patterns with his hand on her waist. That's how they fell asleep that night, in each other's arms in the one place Gabriella had dreamed of being for her entire life.
