(Hey everyone, thank you for your patience, I'll finally be able to get back to a relatively more frequent upload schedule so here's a new chapter for The Power Of Love. I wish I could go into more detail about their trip to California but I can't say that I have ever been. Let me know what you're thinking of the story so far or what you'd like to see :) )
Troy and Gabriella had spent their time in California exploring the state. They had a blast at Disney Land, going on all the rides and seeing all the attractions. They spent the remainder of their trip exploring all the other attractions of California: The Hollywood Sign, the Golden Gate bridge, Universal Studios and the Santa Monica Pier.
Now it was their last night before they were flying back to Albuquerque and they were cuddled up on their hotel bed watching a movie. Troy had his arm wrapped around his girlfriend's back as she rested against him, her head leaning on his chest. "Last night here Baby, did you enjoy your birthday?"
Gabriella smiled and connected their lips. "It's been amazing Troy, I couldn't have asked for anything more. You spoil me too much."
He shook his head. "There's no such thing." He gently traced designs on her arm. "Is there anything that you'd like to do tonight?" She nodded slowly. "We can do whatever you want, you don't have to be nervous."
"I just don't want you to get the wrong idea, please let me explain fully before you say anything or make a decision."
He lifted her so that she sat up properly and faced him. "Of course Brie, nothing you say right now will be wrong ok? Just tell me what's on your mind or what you want to do."
"Ok so this has been so much fun, getting to spend time in California with you was a dream come true and I couldn't have asked for anything more on this trip Troy, it's been perfect. But I want to give you something in return. You've been the most amazing boyfriend, you've supported me and helped me deal with everything that's happened and you've been so patient. I just want to be able to give you something in return for that. I know I'm not very experienced when it comes to our relationship and I know that a lot of people my age and even younger have gone further than I have. I just want to be able to be that way with you. I don't want it to come across the wrong way, I just -"
He silenced her with a kiss. "I get it Brie. You're not coming across the wrong way or anything, I understand the way you feel but I don't want you to be pressured by that either."
"I'm not pressured by it, I want to be that way with you, I want to experience it with you."
"Ok how about this, we go slow tonight. We're not going all the way and I won't let you do anything to me unless you've experienced it first because I think that will be the only way you'll feel comfortable with it."
"So I don't get to touch you?"
"To an extent Baby, I just want to focus on you tonight." He saw that she was about to interrupt. "I know what you said but you are giving me something in return. You're giving me your trust in letting me touch you and see your body, that's means more than anything you could give me Brie." She nodded slowly. "Ok so we'll go slowly and if you feel comfortable, I'll touch you."
Gabriella snuggled into Troy's chest, still basking in the feelings that he'd just given her. She felt him brush the hair from her face and smiled gently at him, leaning up to connect their lips. "That felt amazing, I didn't know it was meant to feel like that."
Troy traced designs on her lower back. "That's how it's meant to feel Baby, I want to make you feel good." He could see that she was fighting to keep her eyes open. "Tired?" She nodded and nuzzled her face into his chest. "Sleep Baby, we'll be on a flight tomorrow and you're gonna have two very excited little girls happy to see you. I love you."
"I love you Troy, sweet dreams."
"Sweet dreams Brie."
