"Seems like we can't do anything about it." Sasori sighs.

Earlier, the redhead and the pinkette were summoned to the main villa. A 'grand announcement', as their father would like to call it, will be announced.

"We are going to get married. On Friday next week. The arrangements have been made and the two of you will have to attend and take part."

That was under such short notice they thought. But their father has made it clear as crystal, they can't do anything about it.

Sakura was staying in the main villa, waiting for time to pass. Sasori left to attend a board meeting in the Akatsuki so she was alone.

Well, not quite alone.

The white-washed door of her bedroom burst open only to reveal one Miria.

Sakura sprung up from her bed towards the woman.

"What are you doing here?"

Miria kept her hand on the doorknob.

"I wondered if we could talk," she said sweetly.

"Heard of knocking? Even my father does that."

"But your father said this is my house now too."

Sakura raised her eyebrow.
"Oh and that just gives you permission to come bursting in my room." she crossed her arms.

"Look, I know you don't like me-"

"How can I? When you just barged in my room like you've been here your whole life."

Miria glared daggers at her. "Well, I just wanted to talk peacefully but it seems like you don't want to."

All that sweet façade of hers vanished and was replaced with an arrogant mask.

"Your father and I will get married soon and you and your pathetic brother will stand and watch. Your company will fall into my hands and you can do nothing to stop it."

For a few seconds, it was silent with Miria thinking she scared Sakura.

Sakura walked up to Miria and whispered, "Gotcha."

With that statement, she got her bag and left the room feeling even better now that confidence has entered and took over her body. She now had the assurance that the woman her father would be marrying is indeed a monster.

She was scared that Miria was actually genuine and taking revenge on a sweet person would make her feel bad.

Sakura now had the pleasure of playing with her and she would enjoy taking her down and seeing her face after her defeat.

She also knew that another problem is waiting around the corner to bring her down, but that Uchiha would not faze her.

"We're what?"

Fugaku looked at his wife. "Yes, we are attending."

The rest of the people in the room looked at the man in surprise and confusion. Fugaku couldn't care less about occasions like these.

But seeing that his son's fiance is a Haruno, he would like them to see each other and open up before their very own wedding. He would also want to meet the woman who would be standing as Kizashi Haruno's new wife and maybe the new mother of Sakura and he has sky-high expectations.

"Why–"

"It would be rude not to accept this invite. And seeing as Sasuke's fiance would be attending," Sasuke rolled his eyes and frowned, he knew where this was going, "it would be a good opportunity to get to know her."

Izumi didn't think much about the whole thing. She has seen Sakura on many occasions during their college years, but they were never really close. She'd like to think of them as acquaintances.

Itachi on the other hand was internally smirking, directed to his little brother. He has grown fond of her and Sasuke would like to describe her as annoying but he knew otherwise because of the frequent amount of times he'd talk about her and her 'annoying-ness'.

Mikoto was ecstatic. She seemed delighted with the idea of meeting her future daughter in law after 5 years. Oh, she could just imagine how she'd grown into a beautiful and mature lady.

Although she has noticed Sasuke was still sulking about the marriage.

Sakura may be a wonderful lady but she still wanted to see her son with the woman he would love and even it would be a thin chance, she hoped Sakura would be the one who would change and love Sasuke.

As days passed, everything was bustling with activity in preparation for the wedding. And as each minute went by, Sakura was forming a waggish plan to start her little game with her dear stepmother.

Time seemed to slow down for her and it was the first time she liked the speed of time since she has always been an impatient person.

All the wedding invitations have been sent to all the guests and this wedding has to be perfect, nothing less but more and more, well, that's what Miria thinks.

Miria knows that either Sasori or Sakura would get in the way and she is not letting that happen. It's near and close. She's close to getting what she wants.

"To the left...there!"

"We need more chairs at table 3."

"Fewer peonies and more roses!"

The Haruno main mansion has been very active these past days and this day has been the peak of all activities, checking, arranging, and etcetera.

People will start filling the mansion in 7 hours and everything needed to be at its best.

Sakura stayed at their mansion in Denenchofu instead of taking part in all the bustling arrangements. She didn't want the wedding to happen anyways, so why help?

Sasori has been busy lately and didn't have enough minutes to spare in helping with the wedding. He didn't want it to happen anyway, so why help?

These two siblings think so differently but regarding their father, they're twins. They were going to attend whether they liked it or not. In this case, they did not.

"Do we have to go?" she asked for the sixth–seventh time.

"Sakura." He was getting annoyed. "You already know the answer to that!"

They pulled up and got out of the car. As soon as they stepped out, Sebastian greeted them.

"Sasori-sama, Sakura-sama, welcome back."

"Ah."

He turned to Sakura, "Your dress is waiting in your room."

Then he turned to the redhead, "Your suit is also in yours."

"Thanks."

Sasori chuckled, "It's like we're the ones getting married."

"Shut up." she rolled her eyes.

As soon as they entered their respective bedrooms, their attire is indeed right there, sitting on their beds.

"Huh. I forgot that the color code was nothing gray or black."

On Sakura's bed was a forest green dress, with a halter top and a flowy below the knee skirt.

Sasori's supposed attire was a blue suit with no ribbons or ties.

"Nah." they both snickered. They had a different outfit in mind.

People started filling in the venue. From businessmen to celebrities came to witness the occasion. They were gathered in the garden near the left-wing as the wedding will be on the right.

Some guests didn't only come for the Harunos. They've heard the news that their youngest was engaged to the heir of the Uchiha.

Approximately 30 minutes, after the first guest came in, a shiny black limo stopped in front of the gates.

A chauffeur opened the door and the first came out Fugaku Uchiha followed by his lovely wife dressed in a simple silver gown that looked amazing on her despite her age.

Out came Itachi Uchiha and helped his fiance ut the car like the gentleman he is. As she got out he kissed her on the cheek resulting to heat creeping on to her face. Izumi looked beautiful with her amethyst gown.

And finally, the last Uchiha to come out of the car was none other than Sasuke.

The family looked beautiful in comparison with others as they easily took the attention of the other guests.

Some people made chit chat with the Uchihas, topics ranging from business to birthdays. Twenty-five minutes of communicating yet they still haven't seen the children of the groom.

Well, they were about to.

Sakura came out of her room after she was finished with her self. She didn't do much anyway.

Sasori also came out after Sakura closed her bedroom door. They smirked at each other's attire.

"Shall we, my sister?" he held out his elbow.

She rolled her eyes and linked hers.
They went out of the main entrance and strut towards the garden.

Most eyes were on them as they entered the garden. They wore black among the sea of other colors. They both looked like mourners at a wedding.

With Sakura wearing a black long-sleeved dress with a wrap ruffle skirt and Sasori wearing a black suit with a gray tie, they both definitely got everyone's attention.

A few guests went forward to greet the two siblings and make small talk. They both went their separate ways to greet the other people attending.

Sasori had no problem handling the guests and Sakura was doing great, that is until her emerald eyes clashed with obsidian ones that she knew all too well.
