Hey guys I'm finally back. I am sorry I know I said last time that I am back writing but then I was gone for a quite a few months. This doesn't mean I have definitely returned to writing and here's why. In the past few months I have been learning about myself and have learned that I am actually a pretty good animator. And so I've been doing that along with some drawings here and there.
But this doesn't mean that I have stopped writing at all, far from it actually. But as of late writing has been taking a back seat for quite some time.
And even when I've yet again started a new story that doesn't mean I gave up my Salvation story. (which I start to think that I might have a problem at not concentrating on one thing.)
But yea enough about me let's do this. It is a start of a four way crossover story. Try to guess what worlds this story is going to be about. I'll give you a hint, its about four different Collect-A-Thon games.

There are many worlds out there in the universe. And in those worlds holds many wonders that a normal person can't comprehend. But there are people that knows the value of those wonders. Those kinds of people were called Collect-A-Thon's. These kinds of people have a special skill that allows them to search for all kinds of treasure. Whether they at the bottom of the sea or in the highest of mountains.
But it comes with a price. These people would collect anything they feel to be of value, even if it doesn't belong to them. Some Collect-A-Thoners had learned to keep this urge under control, but there are some that would collect and steal without regret.
One such being goes from world to world and steal things that are unique to that world. This person is a criminal that have evaded the Cosmo police for decades and he had stolen many things. He stole things like rings from a world of Mobius, stole many jewels from the kingdom of Hyrule and many others.
And now he sets his eyes upon four worlds where he will make his biggest heist.
A world of paper
A world of genies
A world of time
And a world of puzzles
This will be his ultimate heist that will go down in history. This huge event will be named "Collection Mayhem."
The mushroom kingdom (paper ver.)
It has been a few months ever since the colour incident where Bowser had kidnapped Princess Peach and stole the Big Paint Stars. Making the Prism Island loose its colour. But it was thanks to Mario and his companion Huey that they had managed to defeat Bowser and restore the island to its natural state.
Everything has gone peaceful once again... Well until Bowser hatches up a new scheme or other baddies to invade. That's just a natural thing for a place like this papery world. But when that time comes, they will always trust the local hero, Paper Mario. Speaking of which, I wonder what our favourite paper plumber is up to right now.
"ZZZZZ ZZZZZZ" We see him sleeping on his bed. Looks like he is sleeping as usual. We then head into the main room to see Luigi, Mario's younger brother, was setting up breakfast.
"Okay breakfast is nearly-a-ready. Time to wake my-a-lazy brother." He said as he set the plates filled with your usual eggs and bacon and gone to wake his brother up.
"Mail call!" But before Luigi could go into the bedroom he heard the mail man call out. Luigi then heads out to see Parakerry, one of Mario's old partners, already flying away. Luigi then collects the mail and it seems to be some bills. Though one of them do contain a letter that is for Mario.
Luigi then heads back inside only to see Mario now waking up. He rubs his eyes as he sits down on the table.
"Hey Mario good-a-morning." Luigi says to his brother as Mario nods back. Luigi then hands over the letter to Mario and says. "Here you go brother, a letter has come for you."
Mario grabs the letter and opens it up. He then reads the content.
"Hello Mario it has been quite some time since we last met hasn't it. I am going to hold a party in my castle and I will be inviting all your friends you have met in your adventures. I hope you would make it. The party will be held at the front garden later today.
From Princess Peach."
"So Princess Peach will be holding a party? I would-a-certainly like to meet all your friends brother." Luigi said happily as Mario once again nods as he is feeling pretty nostalgic. The two brothers look at the drawer to see two pictures of Mario and a group of people. Those pictures are from his first two adventures he had.
"Well shall we eat-a-up then? I will drive you to the castle if you want." Luigi offered.
"Hm mm." Mario pulls up a thumbs up.
Toad Town
Mario and Luigi had ate there breakfast and got themselves ready for the party. Luigi got on the front seat of his Go Kart and Mario sat behind him.
"Lets-a-go!" The two of them said loudly as they drove through Toad Town. Many Toads, Koopers, Goombers were waving at the two local heroes.
"Hey Mario."
"Going to that party I see."
"I love you Mario!"
Mario rubs his hat in embarrassment as he waves back.
"Famous as always ay brother?" Luigi said as he drove to a huge blue gate with a star on it. The two toads that guards the gate gave them a wave before opening it.
It showed the castle that Princess Peach and all her servants lived in. But today it has become more eventful with many people of many different kinds have been invited.
"Master Mario, Master Luigi. I am glad that you two have arrived." When Luigi stopped his Kart they were immediately greeted by an old brown toad who is the Advisor for Princess Peach, named Toadsworth.
"It's good to be-a- here Toadsworth though sadly I can't stay for long. I have many things to get so I only came to drop off Mario." Luigi sadly said as Mario jumped off the Go Kart.
"Oh I am sorry to hear that. Well I wish you luck on your jobs for today." The advisor said as Mario waves his brother goodbye.
"Have-a-fun Mario." Luigi waves back as he drove out the gate.
"Well Master Mario the party is here for you to enjoy. I bet you will have many great reunions. Princess Peach will be out to greet you soon." Toadsworth said as he heads to the castle. Mario smiles as he was about to head to where the party is until he heard a familiar voice.
"Mario is that you!?" Mario looks over to see a goomber with a mines hat coming towards. Behind her walks a more older goomber. She is Goombella and the goomber behind her is Professor Frankly.
"My god! It has been years since we last met. Sorry I couldn't come sooner, professor Frankly kept giving me tasks to complete that I just couldn't find the time." Goombella said as Frankly huffs.
"Well maybe I should stop teaching you." He threatens his student as Goombella. But then they both laugh as it was only in good fun.
But then Mario saw a green boo appearing behind them.
"BAH!"
"Ahh!" The two goombers jumped in fright as the green boo opens up her expensive looking fan and laughs.
"Hohoho who doesn't like a good scare in the morning." She said hauntingly as Goombella got over her scare and look at the ghost angrily.
"And who the hell are you?" She demanded as the ghost look at the goomber annoyingly.
"My my, such a temper. My name is Bow. I just hope you don't get any of that dirt on me," Bow said which made Goombella even more annoyed.
"Jeez, you should get that temper under control girl." They all look around and saw a blue Yoshi with a mean red hair. "Sup Gonzales!"
"Wait Jack is that you!?" Goombella said in shock. Mario was also surprised that a Yoshi he helped hatch has grown to be a young teenager. Well it has been years since they all last met so that all would've at least grown a bit.
"Yeah, that's me. Don't wear it out," Jack said with a smug look on his face.
"Mario is that you?" They all look again to find a kooper in a blue shell and a red bandana around his neck.
"Hello Koopa how have you been my lovely." Bow was the first to greet him as Koopa rubs his neck and tells her of some of the stories of his adventures.
After that it was just a chain of events as all of Mario's friends came and greeted their old friends. Even those that had a tight schedule had manage to make it.
They spoke of how they've been since their adventure with Mario. Like how successful Madame Flurrie has been, how many people far and wide had seen her plays. Or how Jack is nearly there to grab the golden belt in Glitzville.
Many told Mario of their various adventures. Admiral Bobbery have told them the story of the seas or Kooper with his stories of treasure hunting.
Others just told him of what it was like ever since their adventures with him ended. Koops have finally asked Koopie koo to marry him or how much fun Watts has had inside the toy box with his shy guy friends.
From what Mario has gathered was that all his friends are having happy lives and are having a good time.
As they were talking happily they heard trumpets being played and they all look towards the castle.
"The princess has arrived!" The two toads that had shouted this opens the door and out came a beautiful princess in her pink dress.
"I am so happy to see many have accepted my invitation. I apologise on such short notice. The only thing I wish is for all of you to unwind and have fun. The Toads here will be bringing out more refreshments so eat and drink as much as you like."
"Already ahead of you princess," Jack rudely said as he took a bite off of a piece of a mini pie. Only to get bonked on the head by Vivian with the blue capped Goombario using his head bonk attack.
Princess Peach didn't mind the interruption as she even giggles in amusement. "So with that said have fun everyone." Peach concluded as everyone claps. Although the goombers could only smile as they didn't have hands.
Peach then immediately walked over to Mario's group and greets them.
"Hello everyone. I hope this party is to your liking?"
"Oh it has been wonderful your highness," The pink bombette delightfully said.
"Yes my dear I would stop any play if it means I can come meet you all again." Flurrie said with all the others nodding. Peach smiles with appreciation as she looks over to Mario.
"And I hope that this has been a surprise that you get to meet all your friends Mario." Peach said to her kingdoms hero as Mario nods.
"Yes my princess I am-a-gratefully..." But Mario was interrupted by a small star bumping his head.
"Twink!?" Princess Peach said in shock to see the star child that had helped her out when Bowser took her castle into the sky. Though just like Jack it seems like Trink had grown a bit.
"Princess Peach! O o oh it's terrible. T-t-the Star Rod. I-I-I-I..." Trink tried to speak but he seemed touch in a panic.
"Whoa Calm down there sailor. Breath deeply and let it out." Admiral Bobbery advised as Trink did just that. After a couple of breaths Peach tries again.
"Now explain what has happen Twink. Nice and slowly." She said to her friend as Twink nods.
"I-it's the Star Rod. It went missing!"
"What!?" Everyone screamed in shock.
"What's a Star Rod?" Jack was the only one among them that haven't heard of the Star Rod.
"Well The Star Rod is a miracle tool that has been said to grant any wish the person wants granted." Professor Frankly explained to the Yoshi.
"But weren't the Star Spirits supposed to be guarding it?" the blue cheep cheep called Sushi said confused.
"Yea did something happen to them?" Ms. Mowz asked the star.
"No, thankfully they're alright. But that's the strangest thing! They were guarding the Star Rod up in their sanctuary but in just moment it just went missing. Poofed into thin air," Twink said frantically as all of them were once again shocked.
"What!? But that doesn't make any sense! What happened to it if it just disappeared?" Goombella shouted out as she and Frankly tried to come up on a theory.
"Um, guys?" They all look at Vivian who was looking up. They all followed there lead and gasped. The entire sky above them are turning into a shade of grey. Loosing its colour.
"Mamma-Mia!" Mario shout in shock.
"What's happening!? What's happening to the sky!?" Jack shouted out.
"I have no idea my dude." Lakilester said in worry. Then they heard a mysterious laughter.
"Mwe he he he he! My god is this world fun! So many fun things to take I just can't choose!"
"Who was that!?" Koops and Watts shook in fright from this horrifying sounding voice.
"Yeah! Show yourself or I will bonk you," The two goombers shouted as the voice laughs again.
"Oh brave now are we? Very well then. This will be my first time taking form so be thankful for my generosity." Then they were all in shock as they saw Peach's castle loosing its colour. It all peels off as it all collided at the front of the colour and transform into a being that isn't made out of paper at all.
His entire body was covered by the colours ha had stolen. Blue skin from the sky with white hair that was the clouds from up above. He wears a red cape from Peach's roof with a white suit from her walls. He has emerald green eyes from the lustrous grass and light blue gloves from her waters.
"Allow me to introduce myself. I am a person that collects all unique things across the universe, a Collect-A-Thoner if you will. My... Name... Is SCARLET!"
"*GASP!* Guys look! He has the Star Rod!" Twink shouted out as it seems that Scarlet was indeed holding the wish granting Star Rod.
"Oh this thing. For a bunch of stars guarding it, it sure was easy to steal it. And now that I have it I will now collect all the things that are rightfully mine. Mine mine mine everything will be mine! Mwe he he he!" He laughed crazily but was stopped when someone shouted from atop.
"Over my dead body you jerk!" They all saw Jack who was on top of the roof. He jumped of and fluttered a bit before trying to ground pound onto Scarlet. But it was too predictable of an attack as Scarlet merely jumped to the side.
"So you think your tough huh? Let's see how tough you really are. Star Rod! Do your thing!" The Star Rod shot a blast straight to Jack. The blue Yoshi tried running as fast as he can but wasn't fast enough as he got hit.
"Jack!" Peach shouted in worry as Jack slowly got up and pat around his body but found nothing was wrong.
"Ha ha was that supposed to do anything!? Even a few Goombers hit harder then you!" Jack confidently said but Scarlet still had a smug look on his face.
"Oh did it?" He said as it made Jack confused. But he got his answer when he suddenly couldn't move.
"What?" Jack look down to see his entire paper body was turning into stone.
"Do you get it now? See I called you tough and now I am turning you into stone. Ha! I crack myself up." Scarlet said as Mario and his friend ran up to Jack.
"Gonzales. Give him a good wreck for will ya?" Mario nods as Jack was now fully turned into stone. Jack fell down to the ground.
"Okay that does it!" Admiral Bobbery lit he and Bombette fuse as they ran towards Scarlet.
"No wait!" Goombella shouted out as Scarlet smirks.
"You should chill out!" Scarlet shouted as he wished the two bomb-omb to be turned into ice.
"Stop it!" Vivian as well as Watts appeared from behind and was about to unleash her fiery punch as Watts was lighting up brightly.
"How about you stop." Scarlet then stopped Vivian and Watt's time.
All three koopers then spun inside their shells and launch themselves at him.
"Yawn I am tired, aren't you?" He then wished all three of them into an eternal sleep which made them hit each other.
The two spirits appeared beside him as they were about to slap him silly.
"Shouldn't you Spirits be scaring people right about now?" He said while honking them with his star rod which then send the both of them into the Koopers dreams.
Lakilesta screams as he throws a bunch of Spinies at him as Sushi was about to belly flop on him.
"Oh I'm sorry were these yours?" He said sarcastically as he launches the Spinies back at them as they were both knocked out.
Now it was just Peach, Twink, Frankly, Mario and his two goomber partners.
"Oh my god. He just defeated everyone without loosing a sweat." Goombario said as he was shaking.
"Do you-a-guys have anything on him?" Mario said as he was bringing out his hammer.
"N-no he isn't anywhere on my book!" Goombella shouted in worry as this never happened before. Any enemy with a slightest bit of history should be in her book. It's like this guy never existed until now.
"Confused are we? Then allow me to ask you something. Does that book of yours covers everything in this world?" Scarlet asks as the two goombers looked at him confusion.
"Yes? Why what's your point!" Goombario demanded an answer as Scarlet smiles. Frankly then realises it and gasps.
"E gad! Your not even on this planet are you!"
"Bingo you old mushroom. Allow me to give you a reward." He then wishes Frankly to turn into a golden trophy.
"Frankly!" Goombette's eyes widened her eyes and shouted to her professor. She then looks at Scarlet and charges at him.
"Goombette no!" Goombario follows her to make her stop but it was too late as Scarlet turns them into golden trophies as well.
"Aww, you must've felt lonely!" He mocked them as he looks at Mario guarding Peach and Twink.
"Mario, please be careful. He knows how to use it better then Bowser did." Peach said in concern as he nods and runs towards him. He jumps up and was about to hit Scarlet with his hammer.
But Scarlet saw it coming and sidestepped. But Mario knew that might happen and started twisting his paper body and do attack.
Scarlet, not seeing this coming got hit and was launched back.
"My for someone made out of paper you sure do pack a wallop." He commented as he was impressed that he got hurt. "To be honest I thought I would be getting paper cuts at least."
Mario didn't say anything as he once again jumps towards him. Mario was planning to stomp on him but had to dodge midair as he shoots the Star Rod at him. Mario looks back to see parts of Peach's castle covered in ice.
"Whoa!" He yelped in surprised as Scarlet shoots some more. Mario could do nothing but dodge as everything around him was getting shot at. Trees being turned into ice, the ground covered in gold and he even made the Toads who was hiding in the castle fold themselves into cards.
"You are quite an opponent my papery friend. But I think it's time we ended this. This Star Rod is strong but it seems like I have to take things into my own hands." And then he made himself invisible.
"Where did he go?" Peach said in worry. Twink then gasps.
"Your highness behind you!" He shouted as Peach then felt shoulder being grabbed.
"What a wonderful picture. You will go nicely as a painting." Scarlet said to her. Peach Gasps while feeling the Star Rod touches her.
Peach had her parasol came out of thin air as she tried to whack him with it. But Scarlet shot her before she had the chance. She now finds herself alongside with Twink inside of a painting
"Mario!" She shouted to her hero as Mario tries to run after her.
"Got you." Scarlet whispered as a spring appeared underneath Mario and launches him into the air.
"Mario no!" Peach and Twink shouted as a glass cube appeared and traps Mario inside it. Mario tried to break it with his hammer but it reflected back at him. He tried a spring jump but the ceiling wouldn't budge. He even tried ground pounding but the floor wouldn't break.
"It won't work. I made sure to wish for that cage to be unbreakable but any means. Whelp this has been fun but I need to go to places. Things to collect. You know how it is don't you Collect-A-thoner?" Mario looked confused as he doesn't know why he called him that.
"What you don't know? I could feel it inside you. A need to collect things. Haven't you felt like you just want to collect?"
Mario thought for a bit before he widened his eyes. That's right he always felt a need to collect badges to increase his strength and even those times he collected those cards for no apparent reason.
"It seems you figured it out my friend. Well sadly as it stands I won't be able to be your friend much longer. I have things to take." Scarlet said as he twirled the Star Rod which made all his friends appeared by him.
"No!" Mario pounds his fist on the glass but no matter how much strength he puts into it just won't break.
"I must be going now. Bye hero." He twirls his Star Rod again and made him and his treasures disappear.
Phase 1 is now complete. Scarlet took the Star Rod and had rid this world of its colour. He has defeated the mighty Paper Mario and had took all his friends and partners with him. Will Mario get out of this glass prison and save his friends? And even then where has this Scarlet took them?
