HELLO BOYS! I'M BACK! So this was the most challenging trial I have ever written so far! Despite knowing how the murder and all happened I couldn't figure out the transitions from one discussion topic to the next in a smooth manner. But then with some assistance from two close friends I was able to figure it out! So HUGE thank you to Weapon X Foxfurry and ChaosFlash912 for helping me write this trial! Also because of their help this is a DOUBLE CHAPTER POST SO ENJOY THE FULL TRIAL ALL AT ONCE!
Class Trial in Session
All Rise!
"Now then allow me to start this off with a quick explanation of the class trial, " Monokuma started. "During this time you will present your evidence and argue over who you believe the killer is and vote for whodunit! If the majority vote is correct then only the blackened will be punished. However, if the majority is incorrect then I'll punish everyone besides the blackened and they will get to graduate and leave to the outside world scot-free!" Monokuma explained.
Then from nowhere, a scoff resonated in the courtroom. Our attention went to Willie as Paul spoke first. "Yes? Do you have a proposition to announce? If so, making such ugly sounds with your mouth is very unnecessary."
"I know," Willie whispered.
"What?" Paul asked again.
Willie suddenly pointed his finger out and shouted, "I know everythin'! We're gonna wrap up this here trial real fast! Because I'm gonna solve this mystery no matter what!"
Melinda's cheeks puffed up, holding in a laugh. "Gee, he's trying to take charge of things again. I'm guessing five seconds in he'll get contradicted."
"Shut it, woman!" Willie hollered at her.
"Oh-ho, you are just begging for execution right now aren't ya?!" Melinda yelled back with her rifle in hand.
Monokuma growled out, "Now, now, don't get too excited! I'm the only one who gets to enjoy the luxury of punishing someone so put that toy away! And don't forget this is a class trial, not a playground scuffle! Save your personal bickering for after the trial concludes!"
"Either way, I know what I'm about to say is right!" Willie said with confidence.
'I best watch out for what Willie says and hopefully I can support that surge of confidence he's manifesting,' I thought.
Non-Stop Debate
Loaded Truth Bullets: Monokuma File
"I got this all figured out!" Willie cheered. "Y'all can thank me later!"
"So then you can tell us who killed Damian?" Shana asked suspiciously.
"Well… no. But I can see how the murder played out!" Willie answered.
Ollie blinked. "I doubt that."
"Well, it should be obvious. Damian was in the Nurse's office when the killer attacked! The desk showed signs of a struggle as Damian fought back against his assailant! But the attacker managed to land a blow with the wrench!" Willie shouted out.
Truth Bullet Fired: Monokuma File
"YOU'VE GOT THAT WRONG!"
Counter!
"Willie, did you read the Monokuma File this time?" I asked him.
"Of course, I did!" Willie shouted out. I gave him a serious glare and he eventually caved. "No… I didn't."
"How have you still not read even one of the Monokuma Files!? They literally say what injuries the victim suffered!" Shana shouted at him.
"Well, depending on if all the info is actually in it," Luca added.
"Um… well…" Willie seemed hesitant.
"You better talk if you don't want us to suspect you," Paul warned him.
Willie tipped his hat down to cover his face. "It's because I can't read."
"Huh?" I gasped in surprise.
Shana began laughing uncontrollably. "That's why you haven't contributed anything to these trials?! Because you can't read! How can a high schooler not read?"
Willie looked away as I spoke up, "I don't understand, Willie. I thought you said you went to school."
"Well, there is a school I should have gone to… but didn't. Pa said education is just barkin' at a knot which means it's wastin' my time since education is not needed for a cowboy to live on his farm. I believed him and yet Ma did all she could to try and teach me herself. But Pa got madder than an old wet hen when he caught us. I only did it because she was my Ma. She told me skills like reading and math are essential. Now I know why," Willie confessed.
Shana looked at him a bit wide-eyed before she looked to the side. It seems that she feels guilty but hasn't said anything.
Monokuma jumped up and shouted out, "You're derailing the argument again! If you do it one more time, I swear we'll skip the trial and just punish everyone!"
"Oh, don't get your knickers in a loop! I was just about to continue," I sternly told off Monokuma who huffed at me and sat back down. "Anyway, Willie, the reason why Damian couldn't have been attacked by the wrench is because the Monokuma File specifically states he died internally and suffered no injuries on the outside of his body."
Luca nodded. "I can confirm it since we checked his body. If he truly was attacked and killed with the wrench, there would have been wounds on him but his head, the most likely place for a blunt weapon to be targeted at, was free of any wounds or blood."
Tommy looked thoughtful. "Then what if…"
Shana looked at him, intrigued. "What is it, Tommy?"
"Well, what if the reason why Damian didn't suffer any wounds is because the killer did?" Tommy asked.
"Are you suggesting Damian used the wrench?" I asked back in shock.
Tommy nodded. "Think about it. Damian didn't suffer any external body wounds and Damian's right hand was hanging over the side of the bed right around where the wrench was found on the floor. If he attacked first or used it in self-defense, I can't say for sure but I can't think of any other possibility why that wrench is covered in blood."
Paul smirked. "I can."
"Of course you can," Shana grumbled. "So then how can you explain it?"
"Think back to when we did our first club activity of cleaning up the botanical garden before we all split into our respective teams. Think back on Damian after I called him out as being the traitor," Paul told us.
"What a waste of time," Shana commented.
"No, it's not. I know what he's talking about," Ollie agreed.
"You… do?" Shana asked, surprised.
"I doubt anyone noticed it because things got hectic a bit then but Damian was holding some hand cutters for the shrubbery. Try to remember that!" Ollie begged us.
I began thinking back to that day. 'Damian was helped to his feet and he thanked Luca, Tommy, Shana and, I for believing in him. I can remember Damian clutching the tool in one hand to his chest with his other hand gripping that wrist. But wait, that tool was in his right hand in my perspective facing him. But then that means…' I opened my eyes and spoke, "Was Damian left-handed?!"
Tommy blinked in surprise. "Wait was he really?!"
Paul nodded. "Indeed. The Ultimate DJ of our class was unique in the fact his dominant hand was the left. When he and I worked together in the garden, he used his left hand when using all the tools he touched."
Ollie looked up thoughtfully. "I recall back to the party he threw and while dancing I saw him using his DJ set. Sometimes he had to use both hands to press buttons or turn knobs but for the most part whenever he didn't need both hands his right hand was pumping in the air while his left hand worked the dials."
"Then that settles it, Damian couldn't have attacked his killer with that wrench. If he had it would have been closer to his left hand, not the right!" I confirmed.
Tommy looked confused. "So then what else could that wrench have been used for?"
"Easy. A diversion. The killer most likely planted it there and covered it in Damian's blood to try and mislead us," Melinda expounded upon the topic.
Tommy looked down, upset. "Oh… I see. Guess I was wrong."
Shana patted his back. "Nothing to be ashamed of. You gave it your best effort."
"Now that we've ruled out the wrench entirely, I'd like to get back on track with a more serious topic. I wanna know what it was that killed Damian," Melinda requested.
"But how could Damian die if he wasn't attacked? It don't make any sense to me," Willie replied, baffled.
I sighed before thinking to myself, 'Well, I hate the idea but I think I know how it could have been done.'
Non-Stop Debate
Truth Bullets Loaded: Victim's Medical Records, Medicinal Cabinet, Trail of Blood, and Broken Needlepoint
"So then, how is it Damian died? Let us discuss this quickly and be done," Paul began.
"Well, according to what the Monokuma File said, Damian suffered internal damage that caused his death. Could respiratory failure be the cause of his death?" Shana asked.
"I dunno. There was a lot of blood at the scene of the crime," Ollie replied.
"But he didn't suffer any wounds, right? How was there that much blood?" Willie asked, puzzled.
"Could it have been from vomiting blood?" Luca asked.
Truth Bullet Fired: Medicinal Cabinet
"I BELIEVE YOU!"
Consent!
"Luca's right. Damian died from vomiting blood," I answered.
"But how can you know for certain it wasn't a respiratory failure?" Tommy questioned me.
"Because I saw what was in the medicine cabinet. Not only were there bottles full of highly potent medications but there are also viles of highly deadly poisons," I explained.
"P-Poison!?" Tommy shouted out in horror.
Willie's face drained of color as he spoke up, "No way. But why was there poison in with all the helpful stuff?"
"Well, that's because someone put them there," I told Willie.
"My skills will leave you trapped like an animal!" Melinda suddenly hollered out.
"Really? Just "someone"? Honestly, you must be blind to the obvious truth," Melinda commented. "Take a seat, Mr. Celebrity, and watch as this hunter strikes down your weak statement!"
Rebuttal Showdown!
Truth Blades Prepared: Ollie's Account, Damian's Past Behavior, Monokuma's Account, Footprint In The Dirt, and Tommy's Account
"Why should we believe those poisons were not there already? Monokuma loves ==/== messing with us so it wouldn't be unreasonable for him to have put those poisons in with the medicines in the first place," Melinda argued.
"We can't assume the poisons have always been there. Especially because no one saw any when the office became available to us after the first class trial!" I refuted.
"Then let's say someone did put them in there to throw us off as you claim. If so I have no reason to doubt that there's only ==/== one person capable of doing this. The only one who could have placed those poisons in the Nurse's office is Monokuma ==/== himself!" Melinda shouted back.
Truth Blade Used: Monokuma's Account
"I'LL CUT YOUR WORDS DOWN TO SIZE!"
Counter!
"But that contradicts what Monokuma told me himself," I told Melinda.
"However this time I chose to add poisons to the inventory of the school store but I did not place one in here! But I will say that one did manage to find its way in here earlier. The rest came not long after but I didn't put a single one in here!"
"Monokuma said he wasn't the one to put the poisons in there. One was in there earlier and the rest found their way in there afterward," l finished.
"But can we believe him?" Melinda asked, "After all, he's not exactly our ally here."
"He may not be our ally but he does abide by the rules. He can't interfere with our daily lives directly and adding poisons to an area that never had them would definitely violate that rule," Luca added.
"And what would happen if he didn't? Would he really punish himself?" Melinda chuckled.
"Just the thought of punishing myself sends volleys of love to my crotch!" Monokuma squealed out, blushing.
"You're a sick pig!" Willie shouted at him.
"Look who's talking!" Shana huffed back.
Luca hummed thoughtfully. "So then Monokuma couldn't have been the one who placed the poisons in there. Then was it the culprit?"
"Most likely. I can't imagine it being anyone else," Tommy agreed.
"So we know how he died. But now I'd like to ask how did the culprit do it? How did they administer the poison into his system?" Paul questioned everyone.
'How Damian got poisoned? I'm sure I already have the answer.' I thought.
Non-Stop Debate!
Truth Bullets Loaded: Victim's Medical Records, Broken Needlepoint, Status of the Dead Body, and Monokuma File
"We should now discuss how the weapon was utilized. We need to figure out how the killer got the poison into Damian." Paul began.
"I think he ate poisoned food!" Willie guessed.
"Did the killer force it down his throat? There was evidence of a struggle," Ollie offered her idea.
"I bet we're being played again. Is the answer really so simple?" Paul asked again.
"Oh! What if Damian was tricked into drinking it?" Shana suggested.
Luca looked up. "I'm sure it was put in through his skin."
Truth Bullet Fired: Status of the Dead Body
"I BELIEVE YOU!"
Consent!
"There can't be any doubt. Damian was administered the poison through his skin," I answered.
Shana blinked, "What are you saying? Did they run it into him like lotion?"
"No, he means it was injected. You can tell by looking at his thigh," Luca corrected her.
I booted up the picture I took of Damian. "See the punctures on his thigh? Notice how one hole is a purple, veiny rash?"
Shana nodded. "Yes, I see it."
"That is a clear sign that's where the poison was injected into his body," I explained to her.
"But no one has the EpiPens from Mikayla do they?" Willie asked before adding, "But Ollie does have a needle of her own, right?"
She gave him a death glare in return and replied, "My ink needle can only take the cartridges of ink I have on hand. Besides, even if I did lace my ink with poison, the needle doesn't bore deep into the skin and wouldn't kill instantly as it did with Damian. It would take a long time to have it leak into the body's systems."
I shook my head at Willie. "It wasn't an EpiPen or Ollie's ink needle that was used. No, it was…"
Present Evidence: Broken Needlepoint
"HERE'S YOUR EVIDENCE!"
"I found the metal point of a medical needle lying on the Nurse's desk but no needle container attached. It was clearly broken off. This had to have been used to inject the poison. But that isn't the only thing that points to this…"
Present Evidence: Medicinal Cabinet
"HERE'S YOUR EVIDENCE!"
"This bottle of arsenic bane I found in the cabinet has a hole in the lid just as big as the one found one Damian's leg. But this hole in the lid was clearly not there originally as you can see the edges of the plastic from the lid are jagged going in.. The killer for some reason didn't open the lid for the poison but jammed it through the lid instead," I answered them.
Ollie looked at me confused. "Hold up. Something doesn't add up here."
"W-What?" I asked in shock.
"If we are to assume that the murder weapon was poison using the needle, then why are there two puncture marks? If you're injecting poison into someone with the intent to kill, you would think there'd only be one. So how does that explain the second mark?" Ollie questioned me.
"Was there another poison used?" Tommy asked.
"What about a second needle?" Shana added.
"No, the other puncture is completely clean aside from the blood that formed when the needle was punched into him. No signs of a rash or anything like the other hole does. Also as far as I recall from my past trips to the office, there was only one needle but it hadn't been used until today that is," Luca countered.
"What about other medications? Surely other bottles showed signs of use," Paul suggested.
"The only ones I noticed had been used were the acetaminophen and benzodiazepine but those are pills. The only other liquid substance that looks like it was used was this stuff called Evzio," I informed him.
"Did you say… Evzio? As in overdose medicine?!" Paul asked me in surprise which in turn made me stare back at him in wide-eyed bewilderment before responding, "Wait, what!? Overdose medicine!?"
Paul opened up his laptop and showed us a small snippet of a sideshow he must have thrown together at the last second. "That stuff is only used to counteract a drug overdose! It doesn't do anything else to the body if the body is normal and the Evzio you found has been used which means…"
"Damian suffered from an overdose?" I asked in horror.
"Did he have cocaine on him or something?" Shana whispered out, also shocked by this revelation.
"Oh absolutely not! I wouldn't dare allow unhealthy substances to be on school grounds! That would be bad for this school's image and I would have confiscated it immediately. Luckily, all you kids are good drug-free abiding Americans so I never had any to take off you all anyway!" Monokuma cheered.
"Then he must have overdosed on some medication. Kai, you mentioned acetaminophen before. Could that have caused the overdose?" Ollie interrogated me.
"No, Luca and I found Damian yesterday in the Nurse's office by himself before our club activity. I went in to get some for myself but there was only a single pill left and I used it. I gotta say that one pill acted as strong as if it were like four normal pills," I answered.
Ollie hummed. "Even if you hadn't used it, he couldn't overdose from a single pill no matter how strong it was. Then by process of elimination, he must have overdosed on the benzodiazepine."
"I do recall Mikayla referring to that medication a bit after the second trial. It's basically an antidepressant and I heard if too much is taken that can lead to many things such as respiratory failure and death," Paul added.
"Hold up! Respiratory failure! Didn't the Monokuma File mention that?!" Willie hollered out.
Shana gasped. "For once you're actually right! It did specify that he suffered respiratory failure!"
"Then… if that's the case, then is it possible the real cause of death was the overdose and the poison was just a distraction?" Willie offered.
"What?! Okay, now you're being stupid again!" Shana took back her earlier compliment, even though it wasn't completely one.
"He does bring up a fair point though. We don't know what order he was jabbed with the needle in. It could have been the poison first," Melinda replied.
"No, that can't be right," Luca argued.
"But we have been deceived before," Tommy added.
Ollie rolled her eyes. "Why are we even fighting over something so obvious?"
"But is it really that obvious?" Paul asked back.
HOLD EVERYTHING!
"It sounds like you guys are experiencing something I like to call Even Steven! It's when a clash between two personalities that don't have the same opinion and fight back and forth for 65 episodes!" Monokuma called out.
"Umm… are you trying to relate our situation to the Disney Channel show with Shia LaBeouf?" I asked him, confused.
"Hey! It's a great show! Don't knock it till you've tried it!" Monokuma yelled at me.
"Trust me, I have. I was in it for an episode," I replied back.
Luca blinked in surprise. "You were?"
I nodded at him. "Yeah, but my episode was scrapped after an incident with Disney and Terry. I'd rather not talk about it."
"Forget that! What's even more thrilling is we now return you to our very own morphenomenal trial grounds!" Monokuma squealed with glee as he pulled out his Monokuma key and inserted it into the panel and turned it. Once again I began floating up with everyone to my left floating up behind me in a staircase-like manner. Soon our seats jumbled up and rotated around as Willie, Paul, Melinda, and Tommy took the left and Luca, Ollie, Shana, and I took our spots on the right.
Debate Scrum!
Question: What was Damian's true cause of death?
Answer 1: An overdose
Answer 2: Poison
START!
"The killer may have punctured the second hole into Damian to confuse us and make us come to the wrong conclusion," Tommy suggested.
Shana!
"Sweetie, if they wanted to confuse us then they didn't disguise their actions very well," Shana told him.
"It's possible they administered a small amount of poison to paralyze Damian before forcing him to overdose," Melinda theorized.
Luca!
"But the bottle shows that a lot of poison was used and I doubt using that much would not kill someone," Luca fought back.
Paul rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Past culprits have done many things to throw us off before. What makes this any different than then?"
Ollie!
"But if you think about how the medications were used, it shows this time is not the same as the other culprits," Ollie answered.
"I swore I would uncover the truth and it feels wrong to not figure out what's being hidden from us," Willie growled out.
Leave this to me!
"It will be bad if we let the past lead us to the wrong conclusion, don't you agree?" I asked him.
Our arguments and words figuratively began pushing against each other as the wall we were being pushed into suddenly turned against the others as we rocketed forward and forced them back with our counterattacks and logical support to our statements.
"THIS IS WHAT WE'VE DECIDED!"
Full Counter!
"The killer didn't disguise their actions this time and the medicines show that. Paul, you said Evzio has no effect on people who aren't being affected by an overdose but it clearly has been used which means it only had been used for its original purpose," I explained.
"You make a fair point," Paul admitted.
"Then there can be no denying that the overdose was subdued by the Evzio but then Damian was killed by the hefty amount of poison injected into him," I finalized the statement with a firm placement of my hand on my podium.
"So then if we agree that Damian suffered the overdose but didn't die from it then I think it's also safe to assume Damian's attacker is responsible for his overdose. Then Damian injected himself with the Evzio to save himself only for the killer to then take the needle and inject him with the poison," Willie stated with utmost confidence.
"Wow, that was a great summary, Willie! Good on ya!" Tommy clapped for him.
'So the killer caused Damian's overdose. But… what if...?' I asked myself.
Non-Stop Debate!
Truth Bullets Loaded: Ollie's Account, Tommy's Account, and Damian's Past Behavior
Willie began speaking, "So this is probably what happened. The killer had Damian follow them into the Nurse's office. Perhaps they told him they found a way outta here."
"Surely that would have raised a red flag for Damian since we already confirmed that there is no escape from that floor," said Luca.
"Well, either way, the killer tricked Damian into following them into the Nurse's office, and then they fought with Damian as they forced Damian to swallow all those pills!" Willie shouted out.
"Sounds like legit reasoning to me," Tommy agreed.
"But doesn't something seem off about Willie's guess?" asked Ollie.
Willie sneered at her. "Like what exactly? You shouldn't speak unless you're told to. Besides what said makes perfect sense with Damian being lured and attacked!
Truth Bullet Fired: Damian's Past Behavior
"YOU'VE GOT THAT WRONG!"
Counter!
I then spoke up, saying, "But I'm not sure that's the case. I really don't think Damian was lured into the Nurse's office in the first place."
"Then how do you explain why he was in there?" Willie asked me, angrily.
"I think he went in there of his own free will. In fact, I think he caused his own overdose!" I said sternly.
"That's a bold assumption. And what makes you believe that?" Melinda questioned me.
"All we gotta think about is how Damian has been acting up until his death. He was usually more level-headed than most of us even if he was a major flirt," I answered.
"Better a flirt than a sexist pig," Shana grumbled.
"Now is not the time for grudges, Shana. Focus on the trial for now," Tommy warned her.
I began explaining myself. "But Damian became more distant, more secretive after I confronted him about Monokuma and him. Then there's the time Willie found him the first night after exploring the fourth floor. He looked pale and sickly and mumbled how he wasn't going to survive. And then there's that blood incident."
"Blood incident? What do you mean by that?" Paul asked puzzled.
"Tommy had slipped and fallen into me and he had slipped on a puddle of blood, near the cafeteria. Right, Tommy?" I asked of him.
I soon noticed there were chunks in the blood and soon recognized them. "It's egg."
"Egg?" Tommy repeated.
I nodded. "Yeah. From breakfast this morning. It looks like some lost more than their lunch this morning."
"Isn't that a bad thing?" Tommy questioned me.
"Only if a lot of blood was vomited but from the size of what the puddle originally was, I don't think they lost much. But still, I'm concerned that someone threw up blood."
"Oh, you're talking about that bit of blood I slipped on. We thought someone had thrown it up since it had eggs from breakfast that morning but everyone claimed it wasn't them," Tommy recalled.
I nodded to him before continuing, "We didn't know who it was but I think it's safe to assume it was Damian. Add his sickly appearance earlier and that vomited blood plus his frequent visits to the Nurse's office and you got your answer."
"Yeah, Kai and I caught him in the Nurse's office when we went for the acetaminophen for Kai and he was acting very strangely like he was hiding something from us," Luca added.
Shana looked thoughtful. "Now that you mention it, I've also seen Damian make frequent visits there too but I didn't think anything of it since he's usually more chill than that."
"And there's proof Damian's made multiple trips there as well," I informed the others.
"Such as?" Melinda requested of me.
Present Evidence: Used Paper Cups and Medicinal Cabinet
"HERE'S YOUR EVIDENCE!"
"The bathroom trash in the Nurse's office is filled with too many used paper cups for just one or two visits. He used these to drink water when taking the medications from the cabinet. He must have used all the acetaminophen before going over to the benzodiazepine." I enlightened them.
The fossils never lie!
"Kai… are you sure about that?" Tommy asked me.
"Huh?" I was surprised by this.
"Please don't take this the wrong way but there is a flaw with that reasoning. Just hear me out, okay?" Tommy requested.
Rebuttal Showdown!
Truth Blades Prepared: Tommy's Account, Medicinal Cabinet, Used Paper Cups, Damian's Past Behavior, and Monokuma's Account
"I'm not trying to offend you, Kai but your testimony is lacking. It's just that really any==/==one could have used the medications in the office, right? Sure, Damian could have used some but there's no proof he ==/== used every pill," Tommy attempted to explain to me.
But I replied back with, "Just because we don't have physical proof doesn't mean we can't make deductions of who was there using these medications."
"Exactly my point. Paul did mention Mikayla used ==/== the benzodiazepine after the second trial. So there's no other reason to believe why the medication bottles ==/== are used up," Tommy suggested.
Truth Blade Used: Monokuma's Account
"I'LL CUT YOUR WORDS DOWN TO SIZE!"
Counter!
"But Monokuma already explained that to us. He told us the Nurse's office inventory works like the school store's. But instead of getting new medications, he restocks the bottles so they're never empty," I told him.
"Oh, really? I had no idea," Tommy responded.
"And with how much most of us had seen Damian make frequent trips there along with his secretive behavior, I believe it is more than safe to assume he is the one who used all that medication," added Luca.
"I see… My bad," Tommy shamefully whispered.
"It's okay, these trials are challenging," Shana commented, trying to cheer him up.
Willie glared at her. "Hey, how come I ain't getting any encouragement from you women when I'm wrong?"
Shana glared back and answered, "Obviously because he's my boyfriend and you a sexist motherfucker. Dumbass."
"So if Damian overdosed himself, does that mean he also injected himself with the Evzio and then the killer found an opening and then hit him with the poison?" Shana asked.
"It sounds plausible but unlikely. The desk shows that there was some kind of struggle so I'm not entirely sure Damian would have been able to inject himself if he was fighting against someone," I answered her.
"Unfortunately we can't narrow down when a fight took place or who injected what into Damian yet," Luca added.
"I have a question for Kai," Melinda suddenly jumped in.
"Uh yes?" I asked, cautiously.
"I happened to notice while I was on guard duty, you found something in Damian's hat. Care to share with the rest of the class?" She asked of me.
"You did?" Tommy asked, surprised.
I answered, "Yeah… I found a motive paper tucked away inside."
"Don't you mean his motive paper?" Ollie tried correcting me.
"No. I mean a motive paper. The one I got off Damian doesn't seem to match up with him. It says "If you don't act fast, the love of your life will die next!". But that doesn't make sense for it to be his, doesn't it?" I questioned the others.
"Well, he was a major flirt. Falling in love easily doesn't seem too far out of the question," Ollie reiterated.
I shook my head and elaborated, "But Damian hasn't fallen in love with anyone though, right? He hasn't been around most of us before after the third trial and before he died. Surely, he would have been around the one he loved a lot more."
"Then if it isn't Damian's, then whose is it?" Melinda demanded me.
"I… I don't know," I told her.
"Maybe, his love was already dead?" Willie suggested.
Shana sighed. "Ugh… if that's the case why would Monokuma write that his love would die next when we got this motive yesterday?! Stop being such a fucking retard!"
Willie glared at her. "I dare you to say that again, Missy! If you do, I swear I'll..."
"Enough!" Paul shouted out, effectively shutting everyone up, "We may have cleared up a lot, like how he was murdered, but we are still missing the big picture here."
"What's that?" Willie asked.
"Who… killed… Damian? Paul asked slowly.
My thoughts soon began speaking for me. 'He's right. There's still the matter of who the imposter hiding among us is. Is it Willie, Melinda, Tommy, Shana, Ollie, Luca, or Paul? Who is the one who betrayed us this time?'
