Day 21

As routine played out normally, so did the morning announcement. I quickly got myself up as I looked at the perk phone sitting on the desk. A part of me was tempted to see if I got any new videos but I didn't want to see Manako suffering, knowing I can't do anything to help her.

With a sigh, I got myself up and out to the cafeteria where I ate breakfast with my friends. Melinda and Paul weren't in the cafeteria at all while the five of us ate. Soon Luca and Ollie finished first and wandered off together, holding hands as they did. Not long after they had Willie and Shana decided to get back to their workout once they finished their breakfast. That left me alone.

I sighed out as I thought, 'With Ollie and Luca being together now, Willie and Shana hanging out more often, and even since Melinda and Paul are not spending time with anyone besides each other, I'm starting to feel like a three-way third wheel.'

"I can tell you have a lot on your mind," I heard his snarky voice sound from behind me. I groaned, not even turning around. I then heard Paul say, "Are you really so full of yourself that you can't even acknowledge when someone speaks to you?"

Melinda let out a guffaw before speaking next. "You must be the Ultimate Actor if you're that high maintenance."

"I only acknowledge people who deserve my respect and you two haven't done anything to earn that right from me," I spat, keeping my eyes forward and away from them.

"Well, then rejoice because our Great Protector has come with a deal that I bet even you won't refuse," Melinda informed me. This, unfortunately, caught my attention as I looked back and glared at them. "What kind of deal would I be interested in?"

"One that involves us forgiving Miss Peralta for her betrayal and a promise that we will not bother her again," Paul answered me.

"And what do you get out of this deal? What's the bargaining chip?" I asked, standing up with my arms folded and my hip stuck out to the right.

"Nothing really major. It's just you seem to have been the main cause of Ollie's recklessness so…" Melinda started but I immediately interrupted them by shouting, "How many goddamn times will I have to say it before it penetrates your thick skulls!? I… Will… Never… Join… You!"

"That's not what we were going to request of you," Paul suddenly revealed making me blink.

"Wait… … ...what?" I asked, confused.

"You heard me. All I want is your cooperation in your thoughts on a topic. Work with me on this and I'll forgive Ollie for her abandonment. I give you my word," Paul told me.

"Oh… well, if that's all then I don't see the harm in it. What did you want to discuss?" I questioned him.

"The traitor. It's obvious that person is alive and after Damian was revealed to have been in a one-sided arrangement with no involvement with Monokuma himself, that means the traitor is still lurking within our ranks and they must be exposed.

"Well, you're theory about their involvement as Marcel's accomplice was pretty sound, despite the fact I knew it wasn't Damian. But that leads to the problem that none of us had a way to interfere and help Marcel," I said, thoughtfully.

"If you had to assume someone, who would you assume?" Melinda asked me, her eyes gazing over me with interest.

"Well, obviously, I would assume one of you two," I responded.

"Ahhh! My poor heart breaks at the shot from your bullet-like words!" Melinda cried out.

"No, you're not," I deadpanned.

"Gwahahahaha! Yeah, I couldn't give two shits. Weak emotions are incapable for me to experience," She laughed out loud.

"I'm more than aware," I rolled my eyes at her.

"Besides, it's like you said during the first trial, it's rarely the most obvious suspect who is the culprit. Wouldn't it be too obvious if me or Melinda was the traitor?" Paul asked.

"Keyword: rarely. That doesn't mean it's not possible. Besides, I don't believe it can be anyone else. The others have done too much for each other to be suspicious," I replied.

"Well, if I were to guess. I'd like to think only one person has enough insider and connections to be working for Monokuma," Melinda noted before her eyes settled on me and remained unmoving.

I glared at her. "Are you implying that I'm the traitor?!"

"I call them as I see them. I mean Monokuma claims this is being broadcasted to the entire world and you being the big celebrity here, you're probably getting a big check after you finish your insider job here. But hey, don't be mad. It's just my opinion since no one else is suspicious to me," I could hear her mocking tone which made me grit my teeth.

"There is one individual I'm thinking is highly suspect," Paul added.

"Who would that be?" I asked.

Paul was silent for a moment before he shook his head. "As much as I don't like this person, I don't have enough reasoning to point the finger at them… yet. Once I get more info on them, then I can be sure. Thank you, Kai. Your opinion was a great opportunity for me. It's rare to get someone to give me their own thoughts besides my guard dog here."

"I only wish to assist you beyond what is asked of me," Melinda giggled as she bowed to him.

I gagged a little at the sight. "And this is where I make my exit, stage right. See ya!" I then booked it out, leaving those two alone.

It was odd being able to talk to them about a topic that may not have been my first choice. Maybe not even my last choice, either. But at least Ollie wasn't gonna be bothered by them anymore so it was worth it spending some time, debating about who the traitor could be.

Honestly, I really don't want to think that one of my friends will betray me again by revealing themselves as the one who's been fucking with us throughout most of this killing game. I just want the seven of us to survive this and get out alive. The faster I get out, the faster I can get to Las Vegas and locate Manako. Maybe then I can find out what Monokuma did to Terry. Hopefully, I find that out sooner but as long as I find him in the end, it won't matter how long it takes me. I will find everything important to me that was stolen!

Some time had passed and after playing a few solo games of pool and air hockey and winning every match (while simultaneously losing them), I found myself in the garden, admiring the fountain ornament again. The sculptor of this masterpiece should be proud of this piece of magnificence they brought to life. Suddenly I felt a firm hand grip my shoulder, causing me to twist around and scream out from fright.

Ollie just smiled and giggled at me. "You scare easy when you're distracted. It's cute."

"O-Ollie! What was that for?" I asked her, blushing and embarrassed by my outburst.

"I was just here to inform you that it is your turn to be my personal bodyguard for the afternoon," Ollie informed me.

"Oh! Well, actually, about that…" I then explained to her my run-in with Paul and his deal.

"Wait… seriously? That was it? That was all it took for him to forget?" Ollie asked.

"Yeah, I was shocked by this too but he gave me his word which he hasn't done before so it seems legit for once," I replied.

She looked thoughtful as her eyes narrowed. "What is it?"

She then shook her head. "Oh, nothing. Well, I don't have anything to do right now since I was expecting to be spending the entire afternoon with you."

"Neither do I. Since I've become a third wheel to three different parties, I haven't had much to do with anyone. I've just been spending my time here, admiring this beautiful art," I confessed, looking back at the wolf statue.

Ollie hummed thoughtfully as she smirked before clinging onto my upper arm and yanking me away, making me once again yelp in surprise. "W-What are you doing?"

"I'm taking you to my room, immediately!" Ollie called back as she dragged me into the hallway.

I blushed. "Um… I-I'm not sure I'm ready for that."

Ollie then stopped as her flaming eyes met mine. "Don't be a pervert," Her chilling voice hissed at me, "I wouldn't dare think of cheating on my dear Luca like that. No more questions, got it?"

I nodded vigorously with my teeth biting my lips shut to ensure I wouldn't say anything else I would regret. We made our way back to the first floor and soon to her room.

Once inside her room, I blinked in surprise. The art room we got on the fifth floor didn't compare to the art room that was Ollie's room! So many tattoo arts were stacked up in piles on the desk and bed and taped all over the walls. I couldn't help but notice some of the art on the walls were the same ones on her body, proving all the tattoos on her were most definitely done herself. Even the ones on her back and the back of her arms and legs which made me curious how she managed to do those ones herself.

Ollie sat down in a high chair that was placed next to a kind of lounge chair that looked like the beds you'd rest in for a doctor's physical exam. "Take a seat."

I walked over and sat down on the edge of the side of the bed-like chair as we looked at each other. "So I wanted to talk for a bit. I want you to know why becoming a tattoo artist was so important to me."

"But wasn't it because of your uncle and the art being a form of self-expression?" I asked her, curiously.

"Well, yes but there's another reason. Can you recall?" She asked me back.

"It's so you can get an understanding of people and their dreams and personalities. Being able to do this helped make you the Ultimate Tattoo Artist," I answered.

She smiled and nodded. "But now I want to expand upon that more. When Willie first saw me in the auditorium on our first day, he called me a demon. Remember?"

"Yeah, but he just wasn't used to seeing things like that. He's better now," I noted.

Ollie shrugged as she began talking. "I'm not saying that he didn't get any better, I'm just using that as an example. See… before my love of tattoos flourished, I was a pretty average girl. I had a decent group of friends in an average school which had made me average overall. I used to curl my brown hair and wear thick, square-framed glasses, and wear girly dresses because that's what all the "cool kids" were wearing. But then I got invested in the tattoo world and my view on what looked cool changed drastically. Soon my hair was dyed blue and ironed flat, I got Lasix surgery so I wouldn't have to wear ridiculous glasses again, and I wore more exposing clothes to show off my pride and joy. But this sudden transition rubbed people the wrong way. My friends were quick to shun me, my teachers scolded me with no reason other than to say I was too young to be interested in something so physically unappealing, even strangers who saw me would whisper saying how I was Dora the Explorer if she went emo. But that couldn't be farther from the truth since they knew who I was even before I changed my appearance. My personality didn't flip or morph at all yet they judged me and my choices and assumed I was now a troubled child."

"That's unfair. To push you away just because you picked up a harmless hobby. They're the ones who lost out," I said, harshly.

Ollie nodded. "Indeed they did. But I'm not upset. If anything, I'm glad they pushed me out."

"Huh? Why?" I questioned her, shocked.

She smirked as she continued, "Because they showed me their true colors. They showed that change to them is ugly and unacceptable and I knew from that point on I didn't need to try and force myself to be friendly to someone who can't accept change in someone they claim to always accept. That's why I wanted this ability to understand people for who they truly are. So I can see who I can make unbreakable bonds with and who would just be a waste of time. Honestly, it took me a long time but I managed to find people I could call my first real friends."

"Who were they?" I asked her, intrigued to know.

Ollie answered with a small smile, "You. The others here and those who've passed. You're all my first real friends I've ever had and even though the circumstances should have been different, I truly believe that our class would have been beyond enjoyable with honest people like Helen, Shana, Jayden, Marcel, and even you, Kai. But Luca especially for… obvious reasons." She finished with a blush after mentioning Luca.

"You're happy with him. You two make a great couple," I told her with a reassuring grin.

She smiled. "Thanks, Kai. I trust Luca with my life. More than I do with anyone else here. I feel safe and secure with him beyond comprehension. But you're a close second. Your friendship has meant the world to me."

I flashed a smile back at her. "I feel the same way."

"I knew you did," Ollie noted.

"I knew you knew," I added on top of that.

"Well, I knew you knew that I knew that. Before we get stuck in that endless gag, I want to show you my appreciation for your friendship with a gift I've prepared for you," Ollie suddenly informed me as she reached behind her.

"A gift… for me?" I asked in stunned disbelief.

She soon turned back around and showed me a familiar work of art. It was the same piece I found her working on in the art room! But I noticed a few differences.

"I expounded upon the wings, making them a bit broader and spread out and the fur of the wolf a bit more noticeable," She answered me without me saying anything as usual.

"It's beautiful. I'll treasure it forever," I told her.

Ollie looked down. "You could. Or you can take it a step further. If you're comfortable with it and it's not too much trouble for you, I was hoping you could be the first proud wearer of my newest tattoo piece."

I felt chills suddenly shoot down me as I took in her request. But soon I smiled at her and said, "You know what… I would love nothing more than to be the first prideful owner of the newest tattoo from the Peralta collection."

"Really?" Ollie beamed as she lifted her hands. "I'm not gonna force you if you really don't want to like I did the first day when I almost tattooed Julie Andrews' face to you. I understand you being a celebrity and actor, you need to keep your appearance in check. It's one of the highest priorities you need to worry about in your life."

"Well, that's the thing. If they can't accept this change, then I know I shouldn't bother trying to get along with them. I learned that from the best," I smirked as I said that.

Ollie smiled back as she got her ink needle out and inserted a black ink cap. "So then… where do you want it? For your first tattoo, I'd recommend it's placement should be somewhere where you can proudly showcase it such as your arm or the back of your hand."

"Let's do it on the top of my right arm on my shoulder," I told her.

Ollie nodded as she closed one eye as if she was envisioning it. "Perfect. It is preferred to do your first tattoo on a body part that can endure the pain you may experience. The torso is for more experienced people and the hand and feet tend to fade faster and require more touch-ups so your upper arm is probably the best placement. Lie back for me and pull your vest and shirt off so they don't get in the way of the needle."

I did as instructed and peeled my shirt and vest away, revealing my tanned and toned body before lying back against the chilly seat. She brought out a cloth, some rubbing alcohol, and began cleaning the spot where the tattoo would go. She explained each step so that I wouldn't be caught off guard with what she was doing. She then took a razor and began shaving down even the finest of hairs since even the ones that can't be seen can get in the way. After that was done, she cleaned the spot again to ensure it was ready.

She then told me she had the stencil ready for me so she grabbed it and applied some water to moisten my skin up to aid the design transfer onto my skin. When she peeled it off, it left a darker, purple-ish blue likeness of my new tattoo. Ollie asked for my approval and I gave it to her with a firm nod.

She rubbed some ointment on the transfer design to help it stay on longer without rubbing off and to help the needle move across my skin more smoothly. That's when she began tracing in the first line and I held my breath, gritted my teeth, crushed my toes, and clenched my fists, doing all that I could to endure the pain I was experiencing but then suddenly after a minute, the pain actually began to subside and Ollie smiled at me knowingly.

After some time, Ollie swapped the needle out to a magnum needle which she said was for coloring and shading but with my tattoo supposedly being all black, I didn't think this step was necessary yet she continued on without explaining why.

I wasn't sure how many hours passed but soon Ollie informed me it was complete. I wanted to look but she stopped me as he grabbed some bandages and told me it needs to be treated like a wound. A protective layer of ointment was applied to the tattoo to prevent infection by bacteria. Then the opaque bandage she had was next applied and taped up for security. Ollie told me it was important that I keep this bandage on for at least two to three days for maximum time for the healing to take full effect. She then explained the possible itching, weeping, oozing, peeling, and aftercare that would go into taking care of the tattoo and gave me anything I would need to help it along like gentle lotion and more.

I soon got my shirt and vest back on as I saw multiple colors were used when she used the magnum needle. "Ollie, why won't you tell me what you used those colors for?"

Ollie just smirked at me. "Just wait the few days and you'll see. I want it to be a surprise. Once you see it, everything will become clear to you." I had no idea what she was referring to but I had a feeling she knew something which didn't surprise me at all.

I thanked Ollie again and wished her a goodnight. I left her room and closed the door, smiling from ear to ear as my heart beat rapidly in my chest. "My first tattoo. I never would have thought that me of all people would get a tattoo," I whispered to myself.

"Sounds to me like your shift went well with Ollie," I heard a voice state behind me as I once again made a fool out of myself and jumped around with a shriek of terror, making Luca laugh uncontrollably.

"Ahahahahahahaha! Wow, you scare easier when you're distracted," laughed Luca as I glared at him.

"Dude! Not cool!" I shouted at him.

Luca's laughter soon settled down as he smiled at me. I then realized we were still standing outside Ollie's room. "Oh, I'm sorry man. Were you waiting to go see Ollie? She's in her room right now," I told him.

"Actually, I was hoping to see you before nighttime. Wanna head to my room to talk?" Luca asked. I smiled at him and nodded as we walked down the hallway to his room. His room was covered in photos of him doing parkour all over the country, from LA to New York City and everywhere in between. There were also some metal poles set up in the corner like some kind of parkour obstacle course which also had some big dumbbells and other exercise equipment set up. Luca then walked to his bed and sat down before motioning for me to sit with him. I obliged him as I made my way over and sat down alongside him.

"So what did you want to talk about?" I asked him.

He shrugged. "I don't have much to talk about. I was hoping maybe you did."

I began thinking for a long moment. "Hmmm. I'm not sure what to talk about either. Guess this is gonna get pretty awkward, huh?"

"Not unless something comes up you wish to discuss with me in private?" Luca spoke. It felt like he was hinting at something as I stared blankly at him. He saw this and eventually sighed out. "Look, I know something is wrong, and keeping it inside is not a good solution for dealing with it."

"It's just as you said, the aftermath of the last trial was too much to deal with," I responded but glared at me and suddenly said, "Bullshit!" This made me jump. He hasn't sworn at me like that before. "I only said that back in the Nurse's office so the others wouldn't overwhelm you to tell the truth."

I remained quiet for a bit as I uncomfortably rubbed my arm. "So… you know the real reason I fainted?'

Luca looked at me. "No, but I want you to. I can see this is hurting you and I hate seeing you like this! Please…" Luca then reached over and grasped my hand in his before continuing, "You're my best friend and even a brother to me. I want to help you but I can't do that if I don't know what the problem is. If you trust me and if our friendship is as deep as I believe it is, then please tell me how I can help you. I want to do what I can to lift whatever grief is weighing down on your heart and mind."

Luca's words felt like a dream but at the same time a nightmare. A part of me did fully trust and believe in him after all the shirt we've been through together but another part reminds me of the darkness I saw swirling behind his astounding eyes and the inner demons he may have lurking inside. But despite it all, the next moment happened before I could even think about it.

My vision started getting blurry as I felt Luca's thumb wipe something wet off from under my eye. "There we go, Kai. That's the first step."

I quickly realized I was crying as he held my face and smiled sweetly, waiting for me to make the next move. That's when it came out. My crying began to intensify as tears rocketed out of my sockets. "*hic hic sniff* I-It's Manako! I've been getting video messages on the perk phone I got, showing me her vlogs she's recorded during her killing game a-and… s-she's falling into despair! She's losing herself and I can't do anything for her except fucking weep! I'm useless! Fucking useless!" My body trembled as I crumpled up into myself before I felt Luca scoot into me and hold me close before lifting me up and into his lap. I blushed at this as he just hugged my close, his right hand resting my head into his chest, his heartbeat relaxing me slightly as I just continued bawling into him as I held onto him screaming at myself for being weak and useless!

I was sure I cried for a full hour before my emotional breakdown began to settle. I sniffled against Luca's chest as he spoke for the first time while I whimpered into him.

"Kai, you are not weak or useless but you're not all-powerful either. Just because you are famous doesn't mean you have the power to force situations that are far beyond your reach. However, that doesn't mean you have been of no help to anyone. Because of you, we lucky few survived four class trials and it's thanks to you for not giving up hope and sharing that hope with everyone as best as you can. Just because Manako was giving into despair in a video doesn't mean that is how she is now. That video may be older for all you know and Monokuma is trying to destroy your hope by making you watch those. Besides, Manako is in the exact same situation as us, right? Then there must be survivors there that she's bonded with that are helping her, like how I'm helping you. You may not be there for her physically but you can still help your friends. You can help us escape from this hell and we can expose the mastermind behind this nightmare once and for all!" Luca soon finished as I smiled at him before resting my head into his chest again.

I soon sleepily whispered, "Thank you, Luca. I'm blessed to have a brother like you in my life."

I heard Luca reply, "I'm always gonna be here for you, Kai. I promise." Soon my conscience began fading as I felt Luca pick me up and begin carrying me. I grabbed my key from my pocket and unlocked my door as he carried me inside, gently laying me in bed.

I felt my bedsheets cover up my body as my eyes couldn't stay open anymore but my conscience hadn't quite left me. Soon I felt a drop of cold sweat tap against my forehead before something firm pressed against it for a second before retreating. I soon heard my door lock and close as my consciousness finally began to fully drift away and for the first time in a long time, I think I had the best sleep for the first time in this situation. As much as I want to believe that though, we all know that the moment you feel relief and hope in this world, it immediately gets bulldozed!

Time Unknown

That's when I woke up but not by my own volition or even the normal morning announcement. But the blaring of the alarm sounded effectively waking me up immediately! I shot up in my bed and covered my ears as the red flashing light filled my room. "What the hell?!" I screamed out.

'Is this Monokuma being a dick as usual? But wait… if he wanted our attention, he would have made an announcement or even come in person to wake us. This is out of character for even Monokuma to use the alarm to wake us up,' I thought before saying, "Something is wrong!"

With no hesitation, I grabbed my backpack and booked it to my door but as soon as I did, I was immediately petrified to the bone. Standing in front of me was a figure, covered up entirely by a baggie, black hoodie and black sweatpants, black slip-on converse shoes, and a black, head mask that covered every part of the human in front of me. It was like my shadow was standing right in front of me as the shadow quickly raised its arm and pointed a handgun directly at me!

"OH SHIT!" I screamed as I ducked down just as the gun fired and the bullet whizzed past me as I heard it fly just above my head as I screamed out in terror and curled into myself as I heard more screams suddenly sound and two more shots fired.

"We're dead we're dead we're dead we're dead we're so fucking dead!" I cried out before I heard a familiar accent cry out. "Kai!"

I jolted up and saw Shana and Willie kneeling above me. "Willie! Shana! Thank God!" I cried out as I hugged them.

"Kai! What the hell is happening!? Who was that?!" Shana screamed over the blaring alarm.

"I don't know! They are entirely covered from head to toe and the clothes are too baggy for me to distinguish if it was a guy or girl!" I screamed back.

"We came out and saw them standing outside your room and they heard Willie scream and then they fired at us! They missed us and then bolted away!" Shana explained.

"Well, I know exactly who it is! Melinda! That batch is tryin' to get us all killed for helpin' Ollie!" Willie snarled out.

"The others! Where are the others?!" I shouted, worried.

"They're not coming out of their rooms!" Shana replied.

"Let's find Melinda and stop her!" Willie shouted as he stood up and began giving chase to the shadowy shooter.

"Willie!" Shana cried out to him as we chased after him.

We rushed past the cafeteria and through the first floor only to be stopped by the library. "There!" Willie shouted, pointing inside where we saw Paul and Melinda standing up as Willie stomped in with Shana and I following him as I noticed something on the way in.

Willie stopped in front of them and yelled out, "What is your problem, tryin' to shoot us!?"

"The fuck are you talking about?! We just got shot at, dumbass!" Paul shouted back.

I grabbed Willie's shoulder. "He's right! Look at the glass window! There are two bullet holes in them and the broken glass is on the library floor which means the shots went into the library!"

"Then… if you two ain't the shadow shooter, who is!?" Willie shouted.

"Where are Ollie and Luca?!" Melinda asked.

"And why hasn't Monokuma shut off this damn alarm!?" Paul screamed out.

As if on cue, the alarm shut off as we all sighed in relief. Before we could comprehend anything another shot rang out and a distant cry made it to our ears. "That sounded like it came from the second floor!" Melinda shouted.

We all immediately rushed up to the second floor and began frantically checking every room. At first, no one found anything until Shana let out a shrill scream. I booked it from the Nurse's office to her, fearing the worst as my heart was beyond hyperventilating. I ran to the fitness room and soon saw the terrifying sight in front of me. "Oh my God! Luca!" I cried out and rushed up to him.

Luca was kneeling on the ground clutching his left shoulder which was bleeding badly through his red v-neck shirt. The jacket he normally wore was hanging up on the barbell but I was too scared to fully acknowledge that. Luca looked at me and breathed out. "Oh, Kai! Thank God, you're alright!"

"Luca! What happened?!" I panicked.

"I couldn't sleep so I was up here working out but then that alarm came out from nowhere and I was getting myself ready to check things out but the next thing I knew as I was coming out, some masked shooter fired at me and I barely managed to dodge to the side but it still hit me," Luca told me as I tried to help apply pressure but was scared of hurting him. He looked behind him and saw the others. "I don't see Ollie. Where is she?!"

"We don't know but we need to get that shot wound treated now," I told him but he lightly pushed me away as he stood up.

"No, I'm fine! What we need is to find Ollie and that shooter before something bad happens!" Luca hissed out, clearly in major pain. "I saw them head towards the hallway to the third floor staircase."

"We should all stick together and find them," Melinda suggested.

I shook my head. "No! If we all stick together, they may find Ollie before we do! We should split into pairs and search the three remaining floors! Obviously, Paul and Melinda will be paired so you two take the third floor! Shana and Willie, you two take the fourth floor, and Luca and I will search the fifth floor!"

"No time to argue! Do as Kai says!" Paul shouted as we all ran up to the third floor and parted ways with Paul and Melinda.

Now the four of us ran as fast as possible to the fourth floor as Shana and Willie began to split from me and Luca. "Stay with your partner and stay safe!" I shouted at them.

"You too!" Shana called back as Luca and I hurried up to the fifth floor and began searching each room. We went to the classrooms and the lab but found nothing.

"Where are you, motherfucker!?" I screamed out into the air.

"Kai, we need to keep looking! Come on, let's check the VR room." Luca told me as we hurried over to the VR door. I turned the knob but found the door locked.

"They must be in here!" I shouted angrily as I slammed my fist against the door. "Hey! Get out here you coward! Who the fuck are you!?"

I felt Luca grab my shoulder as I looked back at him as he stared down the nearby hallway. I squinted my eyes as I kinda saw something down there as Luca and I slowly walked down the hallway. I knew it was a decently long hallway but it felt like it stretched out as darkness grew thicker around us. As we approached the door to the art room we found the window broken from yet another bullet shot as fear began to take control of us as we soon found ourselves running into the room. "Ollie!" I desperately cried out.

That's when it hit me as a bullet was fired into the heart. I died in an instant and I didn't survive this killing game. I felt like that's what happened when what I saw made me freeze in place.

(youtu. be/Ht_lYrMLo2s)

A single canvas faced us with a splatter of pink across its surface and laying underneath it on their back, with blood pooled under the head and leaking out from a single bullet wound in the middle of the forehead was Ollie… her eyes lifeless and dead.

Why? Why must I keep reliving this nightmare? Why is it neverending? Then I remembered the reason. Because this world I'm in births the infectious disease that becomes a pandemic. This disease is only known as despair.

Wait... what happened? Where's Monokuma? Where's the motive?! Why is Ollie dead!? None of this makes sense! That's probably what you're all asking me so go ahead. Leave any thoughts and impressions in a review and let me know what you think of this chapter! Be ready because the fifth class trial will soon be underway! Let the killing game continue when that time comes but until then farewell! Puhuhuhu~
