Chapter Three

Avery's P.O.V

(Dream)

I was sitting in a large open field, a stuffed teddy bear in my arms. "Avery," a gentle voice called, "Avery." I looked around but couldn't see anyone.

"W-who's t-there." I whimpered out as I huddled in on myself. I felt someone pick me up from behind, and let out a little squeal.

"Don't be frightened sweetheart. I'm not going to hurt you." I turned around to face a beautiful woman with red hair and green eyes. "My name's Lily, could you do me a favor?" I nodded.

"What is it?" she only smiled and set me back down.

"You'll know it when the time comes, goodbye now Avery, it's time for you to wake up."

(End of Dream)

"Avery, Avery sweetheart time to wake up." Mommy cooed as she gently shook my shoulder, I opened my eyes and tried to rub the sleep out of them, in my arms was the same teddy bear from my dream.

"Mommy I had a dream, and met an angel." I stated as I sat up in her lap on a white leather couch.

"Oh really? And what was this angel's name?" I smiled up at her.

"Lily."

Hermione's P.O.V

"Lily." she stated while still smiling, I gasped and she tilted her head. "What's wrong Mommy?" I tried to figure out if I should tell her or not.

"Well Lily was the name of one of Mommy's friend's mommies." Oh Godric how do you explain a ghost to a five year old? "Do you want to meat Mommy's friend?" her smile was back and wider than before, with her eyes shining like two pools.

"Yes please!" now it was my turn to smile.

"Well then let's go." I picked her up and we apparated to Harry and Ron's cottage in Godric's Hollow. Ron answered the door on the first knock.

"Hey there 'Mione. Hey Harry look who's here!" he called over his shoulder, and seconds later Harry's smiling face appeared over Ron's shoulder.

"Hey 'Mione, and who's this little cutie?" Avery turned her bright red face into my shoulder. I laughed as I stroked her hair and smiled at the boys.

"This is Avery, my new daughter, and your new niece." I stated, only to watch as both of their faces split into these huge grins.

"Well come on in so we can spoil her rotten." Harry joked while Ron held the door open for us as we walked in.

Draco's P.O.V

I was sitting in the living room of my flat, slouched down on my couch with Blaise sitting in one of the two huge wingback chairs. Both had been gifts from my mother.

Blaise let out a low whistle. "Godric mate, you mean little miss Gryffindor herself kissed you?" I nodded and watched his reaction. He only shook his head and whistled again. "Well what about that kid, Avery wasn't it? What was she like?" I shrugged.

"Like any other five year old I guess. I was to busy trying to help her find Granger, though at the time I had no clue that's who we were looking for." at his clueless look I told him about the events of my evening.

"Godric mate." he stated with yet another whistle and a shake of his head. "And here I thought that all that talk about Hermione looking to adopt a kid was just rumors." I smirked and shook my head.

"Well I've seen, met, and held the proof in my arms mate. Granger is now the mother of one cute as can be, curly red haired, bluish green eyed, little girl." now Blaise was the one smirking. "What?"

"You're gone on her mate, Hermione, the kid, the whole big idea, you're gone on it." I blinked once, twice, a third time, long slow blinks. Then it hit me, he was right, I was gone on Hermione Jean Granger, Gryffindor princess, annoying beaver, book worm, and now mother.
