Chapter 1: The Mansion Story
Autumn has come to Bubbletucky. The leaves stop being green and turn orange and brown. And the leaves fall from the trees. Preparing the environment to enter winter. For now, we are at the end of October. Precisely on October 31st. It was a quiet afternoon. The school routine seemed to be the same, but it was decorated with objects that expressed the atmosphere of Halloween. We will look at the office of a school worker. They were 7 guppies and a big orange fish.
"Uffff Thanks for helping me decorate the office. It would have taken all afternoon without your help" Mr. Grouper said.
"It's nothing, Mr. G. You can count with us" Gil said with a confident smile.
"Of course! There is no problem" Molly added.
"Well….we finished decorating and we no longer have classes the rest of the day" Goby remembered.
"Yay! We have to dress up for Halloween night" Deema said enthusiastic.
"For what? Are´t we too old to go around with "trick or treat "?" Zooli asked confused.
"Believe me, I already told you several times. Deema still goes to Halloweens for trick or treat" Goby rolled his eyes a little.
"Oh come on! Think about it ... They are free sweets ... Don't lose the inner child" Deema said with her sassy tone.
"Jijiji she had a point" Oona giggled. The rest giggled a little.
"Even if Halloween is a good date ... I've already lost my taste for it. It is not like before. Now since almost nothing is really scary, there is nothing that surprises me" Gil commented.
"Do you really think that, Gil? Well ... I can tell you something that will scare you" Mr. Grouper said with a smile.
"Scare me? hahaha the only thing that can scare me is my father-in-law" Gil laughed a little. Molly nudged her boyfriend "Hey!" The rest giggled.
"But seriously speaking ... there is something very scary in the town of Bubbletucky. An abandoned place where no one should go ... except on a Halloween night like this" Mr. Grouper started with the story.
"Wow ... .cool!" Zooli added. The rest paid attention. The only one scared was Oona.
"No ... it's not cool ... It's scary. It is a scary and dangerous place. When I was a kid I went to that mansion out of curiosity. I thought it would be fun but ... the doors opened by themselves ... the wind blew ... blood on the walls ... claws everywhere ... evil laughs ... and when I tried to leave ... I SAW IT! The Ghost of Bubblegrand Mansion! " Mr. Grouper said with a terrifying tone.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Oona screamed and hugged Nonny very tight.
"Oona, calm down! It's just a story" Nonny comforted her.
"Yeah….right, Mr. G? I know you like to joke but you don't think you went a bit out of line" Deema asked.
"(sigh) I'm sorry, Deema ... But that wasn't a joke. I really saw that ghost. I managed to get out of there luckily. But that experience will be difficult to forget ... Sometimes I can see the ghost in my dreams. I still remember that" Mr. Grouper said seriously. It seems like he wasn't kidding. That worried the group a bit.
"I´m so sorry, Mr. Grouper" Molly commented.
"Yeah…..That's why I give you this advice ... For nothing in the world ... Never go to Bubblegrand Mansion. It could be a fatal mistake" Mr. Grouper advised them.
"We promise!" The seven guppies said it. But one of them smirked mischievously.
The group left the school. It seems they had plans for Halloween night.
"I'm so excited. Will I dress up as a mad scientist? Or like a vampire queen? There are many options!" Deema said happily.
"Maybe I´ll go with you. I don't want you to fool around tonight" Goby said.
"Hey! When I do nonsense?" Deema asked.
"Well….Last year you fought with a kid for a chocolate" Goby reminded her. She scratched her neck while giggling nervously. The others laughed a little.
"Maybe we can do something tonight," Zooli said.
"You can count with me" Oona added. Nonny just nodded.
"Hehehe I can´t. I'll go take care of Mia while we will trick-or-treating. Do you want to go, Gilly?" Molly explained. But her boyfriend was distracted "Euh….Gilly?"
"I have a better idea….." Gil smirked maliciously.
"I don't like this smile, Gil" Molly was worried.
"I'm going to the Bubblegrand Mansion. I want to see if that place is as scary as Mr. Grouper said" Gil said very determined.
"WHAAAT?!" The rest gasped.
"Are you crazy?! Didn't you pay attention to Mr. G's story? He barely survived?!" Deema took Gil and shook him hard. A little dramatic.
"Guys, relax! Do you really believe in ghosts? The last time it was about Bubble Puppy. I no longer believe in ghosts" Gil said without any worry.
"I don't know. I´m scared" Oona said nervously.
"I don't think it's a good idea" Zooli added.
"What's up, Zooli? Scared?" Gil challenged her.
"Me? Scared? Pfft nonsense! Nothing scares me. I'm going to show you that I'm the fearless guppy" Zooli said that with a challenging tone.
"Great! Who else is coming with me?" Gil said very excited.
"I will" Goby said.
"Me too! Investigating a possible haunted mansion is more exciting than trick-or-treating" Deema considered it.
"(sigh) Me too. I´ll cover your back, Gilly" Molly said.
"I am going. I'm just going to show you that all of that is false. There must be a logical explanation" Nonny speaked. Everyone agreed except Oona, she was shaking with fear "Oona….You don't have to go if you don't want to" Nonny comforted her.
"N..no...I...I´ll go….Even though that scares me ... I don't want to abandon all of you" Oona said.
"Oona, take my hand at all times. So you will feel better" Nony took her hand.
"T..thanks…" Oona blushed.
"Awwwww" Molly and Deema said.
"Stop being so cheesy and let's get on with it" Zooli said with a harsh tone.
"Hehehe Here we go!" Gil was very excited.
And so the 7 guppies made their way to the Bubblegrand Mansion. It was huge with a large garden in front. There were statues deteriorated by time. The windows were broken and the two large doors on these were made of old wood. It was closed. Gil was the first to go and tried to open the door. But his efforts were useless. The doors were heavy and tightly closed.
"Ugh….It´s too heavy" Gil shouted.
"Or maybe it´s close" Goby added.
"I told you, guys. It is a loss of time" Molly said. But before anything else happened, the doors opened by themselves.
"Wow! Awesome!" Gil shouted happily.
"Creepy!" Deema added.
"Wow ... horror movies cliche" Zooli commented, not very convinced.
"Come on! Let's explore!" Gil said excitedly. The rest followed him. They weren't scared. Just Oona. But Nonny took her hand the whole time. The living room was huge and beautiful ... if not for the deterioration. When they passed by they noticed the accumulation of dust.
"Cof….cof….Very dusty ... There are also spores around here ... it must be from the humidity ...cof cof" Nonny coughed a little. But luckily he got better.
"Hello?...Somebody here? HELLO!" Gil said loudly. No response.
" Well ... there is no one ... we must go now. We waste time" Molly determined.
"Come on, Molls? What's the matter?" Gil said.
"Just look Oona! She is very scared! We shouldn't be here. We already saw what you wanted to see ... Now let's go!" Molly ordered. She tried to be as serious as possible without getting angry. Gil didn't like that reaction of hers.
"(sigh) You´re right. Let's go. I don't think there is anything weird here" Gil said. But at this moment, the doors closed themselves. The rest gasped a little. Gil tried to open them….but…..
"Oh no! The doors didn´t open!" Gil was scared a little.
"Gil….Don't try to joke with us. It's not fun" Molly crossed her arms.
"Nah….It´s just a cliche….I´ll help you to open it" Zooli helped him to open the door "What the hell! It does not open!"
"Stop hesitating! Open the door now!" Goby said. All the 7 guppies tried to open it. But it was useless.
"Now way! We are trapped here!" Oona shouted scared.
"Don´t worry. There is nothing to fear ... it's just a door ... we'll look for another way out" Nonny comforted her.
"Right! It's not like ... paranormal things are going to happen ... hehehhe ... right?" Deema said nervously. At that moment…...The lights began to flicker. They turned on and off by themselves. The wind blew making a terrifying sound. It sounded like chairs squeaking ... They saw some claws everywhere. At that moment ... footsteps were heard ... Strong and deep ... and very slow.
"What 's going on!" Goby asked with fear.
"I dunno….but I don't like it" Gil added.
"Welcome to Bubblegrand Mansion ... Where you will spend the rest of your lives"
"W...what is it?!" Molly asked. She took Gil´s arm.
"I...I...I...d...don't know" Gil now was scared. The seven were together in a circle…...Until…..

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" The six screamed with great fear. They saw something terrible. Their nightmare were only beginning.
