I'M BACK! AFTER A MONTH AND DAYS, I AM HERE WITH A NEW UPDATE FOR THE SHATTERED MEMORIES.
QUICK UPDATE IN MY LIFE:
I HAVE BEEN IN COLLEGE (ALTHOUGH IT IS HOME SCHOOL MOMENTARILY DUE TO THE PANDEMIC IN MY COUNTRY...) FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS AND LAST MONTH. I AM NOW ENTERING MY MIDTERM EXAMINATION, AND AN EARLY APPOLOGIES BECAUSE THE NEXT UPDATE MAYBE IN THE END OF THE MONTH. KEYWORD IS MAYBE! SO JUST BE PREPARED TO ASSAULT ME WITH SALT XD
JUST A WORD, I WILL FINISH THESE TWO STORIES I AM WRITING (SHATTERED MEMORIES AND FLAMES OF SORROW AND REVENGE) BEFORE I DO ANY MORE NEW STORY. BUT JUST A HEADS UP, IN MY PROFILE I PUT THE IDEA THAT I HAVE FOR A NEW STORY SO IN THE AUTHOR NOTES BELOW I WILL PUT IT AND MAYBE YOU CAN HELP ME DECIDE FOR WHICH YOU GUYS WANT TO FOLLOW.

Chapter 6
Ash and his friends have now finished the todays tournament battles. So far, none of them has to fail in a battle yet. In the traitors, Max, Iris, and Drew are the only ones that remains to them, excluding Cilan that has switched sides. Everything is going smoothly, as Max is in the farthest side to battle Ash. Most likely to be at the finals.
They have the free day tomorrow, and Ash has already been booked to train for two hours with Cilan in the afternoon. They already talked about it, and Anabel and Serena approved. Paul and Gary has their own doubts, but eventually agreed. Brock and Clemont will have their own practice with brand new techniques in battle. The girls have their own 'things' to do as they say.
"Tomorrow cannot come any faster." Ash exclaimed in the PokeCenter. They are waiting for their pokemon to be healed. They are chatting about their things to do, and Ash is borderline excited and bored.
"Calm down Ash. Training won't go anywhere." Gary tried to calm down their flaying friend. Serena, Dawn, Anabel, and Paul has excused themselves momentarily to buy some snack to a bakery. Ash is left with Gary, Brock, Korrina, and Clemont, waiting for everybody's pokemon.
"I want to train…" Ash slumped back to his seat waiting. It has been just 10 minutes, and Nurse Joy had appeared with all of their pokemon, fully healed. And then that is when their most exciting late afternoon has arrived.
Outside, there is a loud noise, sounds like fighting. "What's going on outside?" Brock asked peering from the counter.
"I have a bad feeling about this…" Clemont muttered, while Korrina elbowed him. "How about we check it guys?" she then added. They all nodded and slowly walked outside.
/Earlier/
"Here you go!" the vendor handed them a bag of snacks. They all muttered, sans Paul, their thanks and started to walk back to the PokeCenter. Little did they know, is that they are being flanked by traitors, minus Cilan. They soon stood face to face while Misty and May started to stomp their way towards them.
"WHERE IS HE?!" They both exclaimed in Anabel and Serena's face. Paul readied besides Dawn.
"Who?" they both replied while tilting their heads to the sides.
"YOU KNOW WHO! WHERE IS KETCHUM?!" Misty yelled. If their eardrum were perhaps clean, then they might realize that most of the people there are holding their ears.
"We don't know. He vanished after you betrayed him." Paul this time answered walking in front of the ladies.
"Tauros shit!" Trip this time walked to their faces. Max is besides him, and most likely irritated.
"Where is the weakling?!" he asked. A very ticked off Serena started to flail between Dawn and Anabel.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU PIECE OF SHIT?! I WILL SHRED YOU!" Serena yelled to them while Max has a smug look and May is steaming in angry huff.
"Calm down Serena. They just want to taunt us. They will not stop. Let us just become the better person here." Anabel managed to calm her down with her soothing words.
"Let's get this back to them. They are not worth it." Serena let go and started to walk past them.
"HEY! I'm not done yet!" May exclaimed as she tried to pull her over. This resulted in a bag of sandwiches and rice balls to stumble from her hold. Serena landed hard on her butt while they, minus the traitors to stare at the falling bag wide eyed. Luckily, a savior arrived fast.
"Gotcha!" Gary exclaimed while his forehead is sweating, probably from running. He managed to save their snack graciously.
"Gary!" Serena exclaimed excitedly, while Misty exclaimed it furiously.
"Serena!" Ash arrived thereafter, and the traitors stared at the raven haired trainer. "Are you okay?" he then added with his hands outstretched to her.
"I'm alright." Serena said while she got pulled up by Ash into a hug. By then, they all had a stare down, while Ash and Serena are encircled by their friends.
"Alright what do you want from her? Why are you bugging her?" Ash asked calmly. The ice slowly started to break from his question and Trip answered.
"There you are Ketchum."
"I'm sorry, who?" Ash looked blankly to the opposite, like they are looking like idiots.
"Ash Ketchum the Weakling!" Max answered rudely this time. Ash stared at them, and then laughed like they are crazy. "Why are you laughing?!" Max asked irritated from his behavior.
"I'm sorry but you guys are mistaken. My name is Aoi Sycamore. I believe the Ask Ketchum you are looking is not here." He stated incredulously. Serena and the others only smirked.
"What do you mean?" Max looked getting angrier every second.
"Again, my name is Aoi Sycamore. I'm a nephew of Professor Sycamore, and my nickname is Ash due to how we look the same and our starter." Ash stated in a calm tone.
"Pika!" Pikachu agreed.
"Tauros Shit!" Max and May yelled. Ash was taken aback by this and was getting angry, for no reason. He was about to speak when Max interrupted them.
"I challenge you to a triple battle with Iris and Trip!"
Ash blinked once, before he started to laugh hard, with the others. "I'm afraid, you are very disillusioned if you think you can take me on kid." Ash stated.
"How about this. We will take you on, with Clemont and Brock. If you win, then you will have your wish." Korrina interjected this time with flames in her eyes.
"And who are you? His cheerleader?" Misty asked this time.
"My name is Korrina, the Shalour City Gym Leader."
They all managed to move to a vacant field beside the PokeCenter. Long story short, the traitors accepted the match against gym leaders.
Max, Trip, and Iris are the ones that will battle for the traitors, while Clemont, Korrina, and Brock will battle for their friends.
"This is triple battle with one pokemon per trainer. The winner is decided when one sides pokemon are all knocked out. Let the battle begin!" Paul declared from the middle.
"Alright Gallade let's go!" Max exclaimed.
"Dragonite to the field!" Iris yelled.
"Serperior display time!" Trip commanded.
"Mienfoo battle formation!" Korrina yelled.
"Ampharos help us!" Clemont releasead.
"Audino let's assist them!" Brock exclaimed.
"RIOLU!" Ash's Riolu greeted Korrina's Mienfoo, in which the said pokemon blushed and waved back.
"Do your best Mienfoo!" Ash cheered in excitement.
"This is no time to flirt! Dragonite Flamethrower!" Iris commanded.
"Mienfoo charge right in! Clemont give us cover, Brock stay clear of the attacks." Korrina retaliated.
While Mienfoo charges in, "Audino Light Screen to all of you!" Brock assisted. "Then you use Hyper Voice!" He added.
"Gallade use Swords Dance. Then use Leaf Blade!" Max commanded seeing Mienfoo dodge the Flamethrower and the light screen takes effect.
"Serperior intercept with Dragon Tail! Then use Energy Ball!" Trip commanded.
Clemont saw all of the happenings, and with a flick of his eyeglass, he got the counters already. "Dragon Pulse to Serperior!" He commanded.
"Mienfoo Force Palm!" Korrina added. Mienfoo stood face to face with Serperior that is about to drop its tail. But then Dragon Pulse made a hit to it, and Serperior had to charge an Energy ball, to which Force Palm pushed it to a different direction before it was launched.
"What?!" Trip exclaimed seeing it fired, straight to Max's Gallade that just finished Swords Dance and got hit by Hyper Voice.
"Clemont this is for you. Rain Dance Audino!" Brock started a chain. The sky got cloudy, and then came a small drizzle to the field, but enough to weaken fire type moves.
"Ampharos charge with Iron Tail!" Clemont commanded.
"Use Bouce to close the gap. Then use Poison Jab to Dragonite!" Korrina ordered.
"Dodge it!" The traitors ordered. Clemont held a smirk before he changed his orders. "On the ground and make a dust cover!"
Soon the field got enveloped in a dust cover, except for Audino that has yet to move away from Brock. Serperior and Gallade all move back out of the dust, and Dragonite flew up. It then halted to see Mienfoo above him with its paws in violet coloring.
"Dragonite, NO!" Iris exclaimed, seeing her pokemon got pelted by series of jabs.
"Clemont let's mix up, Mienfoo use Aura Sphere!"
"Use Thunder on the falling Aura Sphere Ampharos!"
Soon, a ball of Aura was launched towards the ground, while it was charged more by Thunder.
"Audino Icy Wind to slow them down!" Brock ordered.
"Gallade use Psycho Cut!" Max ordered seeing no way to dodge.
"Serperior use Leaf Storm!" Trip commanded.
Soon the are hit by the Icy wind, and then both released their attacks in time to defend, where a large explosion covered the field.
"Dragonite use Giga Impact to Mienfoo!" Iris ordered from the cloud of dust. It managed to hit the falling Mienfoo, seeing no way to dodge.
"Follow it up with Flamethrower to Ampharos." She then added.
"Serperior use Iron Tail!" Trip commanded.
Ampharos tried its best to catch Mienfoo, but it was pushed back by the superior speed of Serperior and Iron tail. Then a Flamethrower managed to hit it straight back to their side. While that is all happening, a Focus Punch managed to land at Mienfoo, and is on the verge of fainting.
"No Mienfoo!" Korrina exclaimed in horror seeing her pokemon beaten up.
"It's time we got serious..." Brock trailed, then he clutched his stethoscope with key stone. It then reacted, and swirls of energy connected to Audino. From the flash of light stood a more powerful Mega Audino to battle.
"Clemont, Korrina, time to get back there. Heal Pulse Audino!" Brock yelled. Then a soothing wave, struck both injured pokemon and began to stand again.
"Grrr! Use Close Combat to that Audino Gallade!" Max ordered in frustration.
"Dragon Rush Dragonite!" Iris commanded.
"Serperior use Leaf Storm once more!" Trip ordered again.
"Use Thunder on the ground Ampharos!" Clemont initiated his plan.
"Mienfoo rapid fire Aura Sphere!" Korrina exclaimed in hopes to slow the attacks down.
"Hyper Voice!" Brock ordered. Soon a cloud dust covered, then the opposing pokemons has to cover their ears from the loud voice that boomed, halting their attacks. Then a barrage of Aura Sphere struck home.
"Now use Dynamic Punch to Serperior!" Clemont ordered.
"Mienfoo Force Palm to both Dragonite and Gallade!" Korrina ordered.
"Serperior dodge it!" Trip commanded, but failed. A slew of sparks emitted from Serperior, signs of paralysis. "What tha?! When did it come Paralyzed?" He asked in no particular.
"Static Trip. Do it now Ampharos!" Clemont commented. Soon, Serperior got thrown back from the force of the attack. It hit straight to the other two and got tangled by how long it is.
"Get up Gallade!"
"Dragonite stand up please!"
"Serperior stand up! Don't you dare fail me now!" They all pleaded, but failed by how stuck they are to each other.
"Let's end this! Focus Blast!" Korrina ordered.
"Dragon Pulse, then Thunder Ampharos!" Clemot commanded.
"Use Icy Wind!" Brock yelled. Soon the attacks mixed and they landed on the opposing enemy. The pokemon, all shown swirls in their eyes, indicating they are knocked out now.
"Dragonite, Gallade, and Serperior is unable to battle. Mienfoo, Ampharos, and Audino wins!" Paul declared.
One by one, all of the traitors pokemons are returned. They all stomped their way towards their enemy before muttering some words of frustrations.
"This isn't over yet!" Max muttered in deep hatred. A brief stare down to Ash occurred, and they continued to stomp away.
"What's their problem?" Ash asked tilting his head to the direction they disappeared to. Pikachu did the same with a low mumble, and Riolu helping up the exhausted Mienfoo.
"Just let them be Ash. They are probably salty about the loss today, in fact, it just might be it." Paul commented walking towards him with Dawn clinging on his arms. The others are starting to follow, and Ash can't help but notice that Serena seems down a bit.
"Are you alright Serena?" Ash turned towards her, that knocked the Kalos Princess out of her thoughts. Serena had a bit of distraught on her face before she replied to him.
Serena can't help, neither shake the feelings that someone was watching their fight. They have already finished their dinner, Ash having a bountiful for the night, due to the stress. She enjoyed their time altogether, as they can have their individual times tomorrow. But for this night, all the girls are now in one room in the hotel.
"Everything is fine Ash."
Serena played that thought to her mind over and over, but can't find solace to what it was that keeps her thoughts to be shuffled.
"Is everything alright Serena?" Dawn asked, with her eyebrows furrowed in sadness. Even as not being an empath, she has been excellent in drawing out others from their shells, and right now, she is doing it.
"Girls..." Serena started, that caught their interest. "Did you all have a moment of feeling that someone is watching the fight earlier?"
"What do you mean Serena?" Anabel asked this time.
"It's just... I felt like someone was watching us earlier, like a familiar feeling." She answered in uncertainty. The others racked their brains for the sensation that Serena talked about, until they looked at each other, and shrugged their shoulders in defeat.
Serena let a bellowing sigh at this action. Numerous scenarios ran through her mind right now. First is that they are considered to be a celebrity, so the person could be a stalker, or someone that they defeated in a competition before. Second is that they are known to be interfering with various hunters and organization, so they are pretty high on their wanted hit list. Lastly, is got to be absurd, but possibly someone is looking for them.
Most of the scenarios ran through her brain, and all leads to the three points. She couldn't understand the foreboding feeling that keeps on raking her. She could go over another more of the scenarios. But she has been at it for 10 minutes that she has not snapped from her thoughts.
"Serena?!" Korrina half yelled to her face, failing to recognize her environment.
"Huh? Oh what was it again?" She blinked and asked to them.
"Are you listening to us?" Korrina asked once more, probably the third time.
"To be honest girls… No…" She answered in soft tone. Anabel and Dawn moved closer to her and hugged her in comfort. Korrina joined soon after, and she couldn't help but feel much better after that.
In the boy's room, Ash and the others are just about from their talks about the earlier encounter. But it was just mostly Brock, Gary, and Ash that is talking. Paul and Clemont are busy doing other things.
"You are seriously going to use those techniques on the next Match Ash?!" Gary exclaimed upon hearing the plan of the raven haired trainer.
"Yeah. I just realized that almost every single trainer here is stronger, if not equal in terms of experience and strength of their pokemon." He briefly paused and gazed to the two seeing their shocked face, "So that is why I needed to step up my game. And there is no absolute way that I am not gonna use those techniques later in the Tournament."
Gary and Brock looked at each other, debating whether if it is a good call to use it now or not. But all of it got washed up seeing the fierce look on the eyes of Ash begging to release the fury of his better battling. They both sighed inwardly and begrudgingly nodded their heads.
In a farther place of the Kalos Region, a lone Greninja with two cell of Zygarde is walking towards the docks. They looked at each other and nodded, before stowing away at the boat. They had a general direction as to where they would go. Greninja mostly is excited and is fearful of the dreading sensation on his skin. As if he feels that something, or someone is gonna attack his old trainer and former bonded trainer. Regardless, he pushed down the fear in his body and prepared for watching over his trainer once again.
SO THAT IS A WRAP FOR NOW...
JUST A REMINDER (AGAIN) I MIGHT BE ABLE TO UPDATE THE STORIES MENTIONED ABOVE IN THE END OF THE MONTH, SO LET US JUST WAIT ALTOGETHER, BECAUSE COLLEGE REALLY TAKES A LOT OF ME... (AND FUN FACT, I AM ALMOST CERTAIN THAT I AM FAILING IT SORRY XD)
