Bubble Guppies Teen Years: Halloween Special Horror
Chapter 4 FINAL: The Truth
It is time to know the truth of everything! Oona is following the mysterious Ghost from Bubblegrand Mansion. The monster was crawling quickly while releasing sparks and decided to break a part of the ground and go there. The girl decided to enter the hole after the ghost. That place was dark. It seemed to be the basement of the mansion. Oona could follow him because that thing was fuming and easy to find. Finally, the ghost fell to the ground. And Oona walked up to that thing.
"What? What kind of ghost is it?" Oona asked herself. She was confused. What 's that thing? Where are her friends?
"Well….well….It seems that you are close to discovering the truth ... but at the same time ... far from the truth" A mysterious voice said.
"W...who said that?" Oona asked nervously "Where are my friends? If you don´t tell me...I...I…."
"Don´t worry. The truth will be revealed now" At that moment, a lobster appeared in a very elegant suit and a top hat. He had a peculiar mustache. He looks like an old man "Hello, little girl!"
"Wait….Who are you?" Oona asked confused.
"Oh...ejem...Excuse me, my manners. My name is Mr. Bubblegrand, the true lord of the Bubblegrand Mansion" The man answered quietly.
"What? I don´t understand. Are you a ghost? Are you dead? This mansion is supposed to be old" Oona was more confused.
"Oh my...hahaha...No, my dear. I´m alive like you. Everything in this place has an explanation" The lobster said politely.
"I don´t care. Where are my friends?!" Oona asked. A little rude.
"Calm down, my friend! They are fine" Mr. Bubblegrand took out a remote control from his suit and pressed a button. At that moment, a door opened by itself. And that's where the six missing guppies came out.
"...THREE!" Gil said that as he shot out of the door, but since it opened by itself he kept going at full speed until he fell "Auch...I´m okay"
"I told you trying to break down the door was a bad idea" Molly said. The six guppies appeared.
"GUYS! You are alive!" Oona hugged them.
"Oona!" The rest shouted happily.
"I knew you would make it, buddy!" Zooli high-fived Oona.
"What happened with all of you?" Oona asked confused.
"Well….The Ghost brought us to a vault all this time. Goby first, then Deema, me, Zooli, Gil, and Molly. We thought the ghost would catch you. I'm glad that didn't happen" Nonny explained the situation.
"Talking about it….Where is the freakin ghost?!" Deema asked dramatically.
"Sir….what's all of this?" Oona asked looking at Mr. Bubblegrand. The rest looked at him too.
"All right, since everyone is here. I think it's fair to explain everything that happens here" Mr. Bubblegrand tried to start his explanation...but…
"G..g...g..guys….IT'S THE GHOST!" Gil screamed. The Ghost of Bubblegrand started to get up. That tried to get up slowly with difficulty. But it twisted and sparks came out.
"(sigh) Dear! Turn it off! It is time to surprise the young" Mr. Bubblegrand said loudly. At that moment, the Ghost fell again. Next to the man, a lobster lady appeared. She had a black dress and was an old lady too.
"It's not fair, honey. I was entertaining myself with the Ghost. But that girl damaged our invention" The woman said.
"Invention?!" The seven guppies shouted shocked.
"Oh..my...ups" The woman said ashamed "Ejem...I´m Mrs. Bubblegrand. Nice to meet you finally, Bubble Guppies"
"Wow wow wow….What the hell is happening here?" Gil asked confused.
"Yeah, I´m confused" Goby added.
"We too!" The rest added too.
"Well, we are Mr. and Mrs. Bubblegrand. We are masters of terror. Experts in the haunted house business. And you guys entered our last haunted mansion made by us" Mr. Bubblegrand explained.
"That means this mansion is not old" Molly intervened.
"Precisely! Everything you saw was our doing. The doors were closing themselves and the lights on and off were controlled from our computers" Mrs. Bubblegrand explained.
"And the ghost?" Deema pointed to the fake ghost.
"Are you talking about the monster that chased you all? Well, it's an animatronic controlled by my wife" The man answered.
"I am an inventor. That robot was one of my latest creations for horror. I'm sorry it was so realistic. But when you entered you inhaled some hallucinogenic spores, that's why the ghost seemed very real" The woman added.
"Mmmm that makes some sense" Nonny analysed.
"What? That isn't possible! What´s about Mr. G´s story?" Gil said loudly. The old couple started to giggle a little.
"So...he didn't tell you" Mr. Bubblegrand smirked.
"About what?" Zooli asked confused.
"Hello!"
"W...what? MR. GROUPER!" The guppies shouted. The big fish appeared next to both of the old couple.
"Oh...h..hi guys! I didn't expect to see you so soon" Mr. Grouper commented.
"What's happening here? Someone explain it to me!" Deema shouted dramatically.
"Oh well hehe. You see …" Mr. Grouper was going to explain the whole situation but ... something interrupted him. The lights came on and revealed that the basement of the mansion was decorated for a Halloween party. And they noticed that many of their old friends were reunited. Many characters that guppies met throughout their lives.
"SURPRISE!" All of them shouted happily.
"What?" The seven guppies said surprised.
"You see….We planned a Halloween Party to surprise you, guys" Mr. Grouper answered.
"Yeah….We had to distract you, because we know you were going to help us and that would have ruined the surprise" The pirate lobster added.
"ARG Surprise Arg" The parrot added.
"I made up that story so that you guys would be curious and enter the mansion. Taking advantage of the fact that Gil is curious and that you were not going to leave him alone. I hired the Bubblegrand couple to distract you with all that supposed ghost stuff while we planned the party" Mr. Grouper explained.
"So..you lied to us" Molly crossed her arms a little.
"Well…..I have my methods, it was the only way" Mr. Grouper answered.
"Yeah...It was funny. The Masters of Horror did it again!" Mr. Bubblegrand answered.
"Guys….I told you, ghosts don't exist. It was all part of our imagination and that robot. Hehehe" Gil laughed nervously.
"Oh yeah, Gilly. You weren't scared" Molly said rolling her eyes.
"They terrified me for nothing" Oona asked bothered.
"Relax, guys! They did a party to us. LET'S START!" Deema said excited.
"YO-HOOO!" Zooli joined with Deema.
And so, the Halloween party began. The guppies decided to leave everything that happened inside the mansion to enjoy the party that Mr. Grouper prepared for them. It would be an unforgettable night. The seven guppies were reunited after several minutes later.
"Hehehe. This Halloween night was terrifying. Although everything was false, it gave me a good scare and I appreciate that" Gil commented.
"I knew that everything had to have an explanation, only that fear won us all" Nonny explained a little" But….Oona, you was very brave. Confront a ghost for us" He smiled at her.
"Owww guys, don´t make me blush" Oona covered her cheeks.
"Yeah, Oona! You were very strong, my friend!" Zooli added.
"I hope you learned your lesson, Gilly" Molly looked her boyfriend.
"Well….I know it. Ghosts aren´t real" Gil said very confident.
"Euh….Gil..." Molly pointed behind Gil. He looked back and saw the Ghost of Bubblegrand Mansion.
"Hahaha. I'll fall for it again. Come on, Mr. G! Don't you have anything new?" Gil smirked. He thought it was a robot like the other.
"Gil….that isn´t the robot" Mr. Grouper said, a little worried. Everyone at the party stopped.
"Don't look at me! The robot was damaged by Oona" Mrs. Bubblegrand answered.
"Wait. If the robot no longer works ... then ... who is that ghost?" Gil was scared now.
"BOOOO!"
"AAAAAAHHHHHHH" Gil screamed and he ran away. The rest noticed that the ghost is real. All of them screamed and they ran away too.
Everyone was terrified when they saw the real ghost of the mansion. As everyone flees, the Ghost of Bubblegrand Mansion looks straight at us and approaches us. It comes straight towards us, the readers.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAPPY HALLOWEEN! HAHAHAHAHA!"
Whoa, so it seems that this is where this chilling story ends with a slightly funny and scary ending. You will see if this is canon or not.
