AN: Couple people were upset at how powerful Naruto is, I mean I said he is OP (Over Powered) but is what it is. On top of that I have always believed with the massive amount of chakra he has with proper training from a young age he would be a monster from a early age. Also, a lot of people missed the point in the last chapter, Zabuza never beat Jiraiya, never even squared off with him. Jiraiya had an emotional response to Zabuzas provocation, threatening Naruto and Minato, which led him to an opening. Zabuza took advantage of said opening to trap him.

Chapter 4: Its To Damn Hot For Training!

Jiraiya had a gut feelings that Zabuza was still alive, a Hunter Nin would usually dispose of the body right away. The two that came for Zabuza did not do that, instead taking him off to Kami knows where. Knowing that this wasn't how they operated he decided that he was going to train his Genin team with Chakra Control as soon as possible. Wanting to focus and knock out walking up trees and walking on water before the ensuing battle got here, that would increase their reserves as well as their ability to utilize it.

Taking them into the forest not far from Tazuna's home, he found three tall trees that had water about twenty yards too the right of them. The white haired Sannin threw three kunai, each of his Genin having it stab into the ground right between their feet, "Climb the tree with your feet using your chakra, the kunai is to mark how high you get. Naruto, I know you have started learning this from Minato so help your team. I am going to go do some research, find me when you all reach the top and I will help you with walking on water."

The blond teen boy sighed at the pervert that was his godfather while shaking his head, "You are such a pervert Jiraiya-sensei."

It didn't matter though, the white haired Sannin had already left. Naruto glared at where his godfather had been standing then reached down and grabbed the kunai, "Alright... well dad said the key to walking on a tree is too keep a steady flow of chakra at the right level. If it is too light then your feet won't stay on but but if it is too much chakra then your foot will go through the tree. That is generally where I go wrong since I do that all the time."

Both Ino and Kiba nodded as Naruto watched them both pick up their kunai. When they were done he ran at the tree with his chakra flowing at a constant stream. Naruto made it up about a fourth of the tree before his chakra flow became to strong, his foot breaking the bark with a loud crunch. Naruto instinctively reacted , slashing the tree with the kunai before flipping away, landing on the ground.

Looking at his squad mates Naruto saw Kiba was having similar luck, also having an issue with using to much chakra. After noting that he looked over at Ino who was already half way up the tree and still going. She made it up three fourths of the tree before her chakra flow changed. She marked the tree with a clean cut from the kunai before jumping onto a branch. She looked at her mark then over at Narutos before she jumped down to the ground with a large smile, "I finally beat you at something Naruto!"

Said teen smiled back at her as he looked up at the tree, her first try and she almost did it while he had been doing this for 2 months and could only get up a fourth of the tree, "Got any pointers then Ino?"

Smiling evilly, the platinum blond decided she was going to milk this for all it was worth, "You have to call me Ino-sensei if you want pointers."

Grumbling under his breath about blond women he looked at her with a sigh, he should have know she would do something like this. Naruto said in a low tone, "Got any pointers then... Ino-sensei?"

Naruto had whispered the sensei part making it so she barely heard, that would simple not do. Ino crossed her arms in front of her, "I didn't hear you Naruto, my students must address me properly!"

Groaning out loud Naruto looked over at Kiba who put his hands up, motioning he was staying out of it. He sighed some more then spoke normally, "Can I have some pointers... Ino-sensei?"

Smiling with a nod she told him some pointers, though Kiba came and listened as well. Naruto looked over at Kiba and then back at Ino, "How come he doesn't have to call you Ino-sensei!?"

The platinum blond girl looked over at Naruto, squinting at him making him gulp, "Are you interrupting my class Uzumaki?"

The look that she was giving him making it so he instantly shut up, her eyes themselves looked like they would kill him. After some explaining both boys nodded and ran at their trees. Naruto was able to match Inos mark while Kiba made it up a fourth of the tree. Naruto was falling he threw one of his kunai into the ground and transported to it. Ino started to climb her tree again and was almost at the top when her chakra flow changed and she cut the tree. She transitioned her body in air effortlessly, but when she touched down on a branch, it snapped.

As she started to fall, Naruto moved quickly, throwing one of his kunai into her tree below where she was. He transported to it, channeled his chakra in his feet and jumped off it catching her in his arms. When she was safely cradled there he transported them to his kunai on the ground. Ino blinked her eyes, all she knew was she was falling then all of a sudden she wasn't. That was when she looked up to see Naruto smiling at her, "You okay Ino? That could have ended really bad, though I am confident that you could have saved yourself."

With a pink blush on her face she quickly struggled, trying to escape from Narutos grasp. Naruto quickly put her on the ground with a confused look as she hit him in the head, "Were you trying to feel me up Naruto!?"

He had a confused look still as he looked over at Kiba who shrugged then looked back at Ino, "No... you were falling and I caught you? I just didn't want you to get hurt is all..."

That didn't help her blush as it turned from pink to a full on red. She looked away from him, pretending to be angry as he rubbed where Ino had hit him while he let out a small sigh, "Why are girls so confusing?"

Naruto went back to training, making it to the very top after 4 more tries, the tips from Ino helping him quite a bit. He sat there leaning against the tree as he waited for his teammates to finish, watching them both as they went. Ino was the second one to finish, though that didn't surprise him since they went to her for tips on what to do. Both of them waited for Kiba, he was having a problem controlling his chakra flow.

Ino watched as he kept trying, thinking that they may be here for awhile she walked over to Naruto, taking a seat next to him. Naruto, who had been starting to drift off to sleep, opened his eyes slowly to see her sitting there next to him, "Um... your not going to hit me again are you?"

Looking at her carefully Naruto started to scoot away from her but she shook her head no making it so he stopped. Giving her a small smile he sat there next to her as they waited for Kiba. Ino didn't know what it was but there was something about Naruto that made her smile, he had a calming air around him that she liked as well. Then he saved her, even though she reacted with hitting him she was sure that he would do it again because that's just who the young man is.

The platinum blond girl had also found the more time she spent with him the more she wanted to spend more time with him. She had even stopped fighting with Sakura over Sasuke, which was like a weight off of her chest, that was when her eyes widened as she looked at him,"OH MY GOD... I LIKE NARUTO!"

Quickly she got up to her feet heading over to the tree she had done her training on. She sat down over there, leaving Naruto too lean against his tree alone. Naruto looked at her in confusion, she had wide eyes and a blush that, as usual, Naruto couldn't seem to see. He brushed it off as Ino being weird again, leaning his head back with a yawn. After about thirty more minutes he looked over at the water then smiled, "I am going swimming... its too damn hot for training like this. Come and get me when Kiba is done okay?"

A bit confused that Naruto of all people didn't want to train she looked over at him. That appeared to be a huge mistake on her part as her blush turned to fire in her cheeks as Naruto removed his shirt. The boy went to walk past her, though this time he noticed her red cheeks and got closer to her, "Hey Ino are you alright, your cheeks are really red... are you getting sick?"

Ino shook her head no as Naruto came over by her, putting his hand on her head he leaned his forehead against hers to gauge her temperature. She seemed like she was feeling fine though, he opened his eyes and looked at her. She could see that he had worry in his eyes for the girl, "You don't feel like you are sick but you look really red... maybe you should rest for the rest of the day? Perhaps it is something to do with chakra exertion?"

She wasn't even hearing was he was saying, she was just staring at his abs. She couldn't believe that he was already in such amazing shape and then closed her eyes to refocus her mind. Ino shook her head too regain control of herself, "I am fine, please get away Naruto."

Backing away from her he gave her a confused and a bit annoyed look. She looked away from him, pretending to be angry again. He was completely lost, all he did was ask if she was okay since she didn't look like she was feeling good, "Um.. okay then? Sorry for caring."

Continuing down to the stream, now a bit annoyed, he took of his black ninja sandals and his black ninja pants. He set them down in the shade of a tree with his shirt then headed down and dove into the stream. Letting out a very happy and content sigh as he floated there in the water he felt his frustration leaving him. Relaxing his muscle, while regaining any lost chakra, he stayed there while he waited for Kiba. When Kiba finally finished, the young Inuzuka came over by Ino who was still blushing from her encounter with Naruto, "Why are you blushing Ino?"

Said platinum blond looked at Kiba, quickly yelling at him. She had too deny the fact that Naruto made her blush... or that she was blushing period, "I AM NOT BLUSHING!"

Waving his hands defensively Kiba responded saying he didn't mean anything by it. That was when Jiraiya suddenly came back, a red hand mark stinging his cheek, "You three done yet... where is Naruto?"

Kiba was the one to respond to their sensei, "We just finished Jiraiya-sensei. As for Naruto, I believe that he said he was going to go swim in the stream."

Letting out a sigh while shaking his head the Sage looked towards the stream, "I guess I really shouldn't be surprised by that, the boy likes to relax."

They all nodded as they started to walk down to the stream where Naruto was sleeping on the shore line happily, his feet still in the water. Inos blush returned with a vengeance as she saw Naruto there in only his boxers and headband. Kiba saw it and smiled as he knew why she was blushing now, getting closer to Ino to whisper to his teammate, "Psst, you're not blushing again Ino."

Glaring at the brown haired boy for a moment the Yamanaka heiress yelled at him some more, waking Naruto from his slumber. Though the dazed blond boy didn't understand what she said, it was all babble to him before he was awake, "I AM NOT BLUSHING KIBA!"

Letting out a loud yawn Naruto tilted his head back. Looking up he saw Ino, Kiba and Jiraiya all standing there looking at him. Naruto saw Inos red face, "Jiraiya-sensei, I think Ino is sick, her face is even redder then before."

Letting out a loud but short laugh, he looked over at Ino, her face couldn't get any redder at this point before he looked back at Naruto,"My stupid, naive godson.. if you only knew what that really meant."

Waving at Naruto that it was nothing the teen boy. That was apparently enough to suffice him as Naruto got up off the bank. Both he and Jiraiya stretched, Jiraiya stretched from his hours of 'research', while Naruto stretched from just waking up. Naruto gave Ino another concerned look as Jiraiya sighed, "She is perfectly fine Naruto, it's not anything to worry about. Since you guys finished the tree training then lets start with walking on water."

They all nodded as Naruto got up and slipped on his pants, looking over at Jiraiya as he explained it all to them, "Its like tree walking but different at the same time. While you need to emit a constant flow of Chakra from your feet, just like with the tree climbing, but unlike with trees the chakra flow needs to change constantly. Once you become good at walking on water and the more you do it then you will hardly even notice when you do it anymore. Alright, now I am going to go continue my research, when you all finish this then go back to Tazunas house and rest up."

The three Genin nodded as they stepped out onto the water. Naruto found this actually easier then the tree walking, he was walking on the water within 10 minutes without an issue. Naruto looked at his teammates, seeing that they were both getting it quickly as well while. Naruto decided that he would mess with them, but more importantly get his revenge on Ino for earlier.

He formed a weak version of his rasengan in his hand and put it in the water to form some small waves. As the waves started to get to them it began throwing them off balance, eventually leading to them both falling into the water. Naruto had a hard laugh, almost to the point that he wasn't able to breath as they both came back above the water. Kiba instinctively yelled at Naruto as Ino just glared and then went under the water.

Ino swam underneath Naruto, then her hands came out of the water, grabbing onto his legs and pulling him down into the water. She came up from the water laughing, her laugh being joined by Kiba as well. That was when Naruto came up already smiling, "Oh so you want to play like that huh Ino?"

Said teen girl smirked at him as he went under the water and swam over to her. She tried to swim away from him but couldn't get away from him quick enough. Wrapped an arm around her, she let out a small squeak. When Naruto touched her stomach her blush got crimson while he put a seal on her. Loosening his grip on her she slipped away. Kiba was sitting on the shore watching the two, "Well she realizes she likes him, I wonder if he realizes he likes her yet... regardless, they are playing like they are already a couple."

Smirking at her as she turned around and asked him if he was giving up, Naruto flashed with his Flying Thunder God Jutsu and reappeared in front of her, "Boo."

Letting out a small scream she tried to swim away again but he grabbed her and this time he held onto her, pulling her into his chest. No matter how hard she struggled and tried to slip away she wasn't able too, "Just give up Ino, I am too strong for you."

Letting out a groan Ino looked over her shoulder and saw the pink tint in his cheeks making it so she had a devious smirk, "Alright then I will use something else to win."

Turning to face him, Ino put her hand on his chest, while looking up she asked with adorable eyes, "Naruto... wont you please let me win?"

Kiba smiled on the shore as he watched the two, watching as Ino was using her feminine abilities to manipulate Naruto so easily. Naruto had no idea what was going on though, his cheeks turned bright red as she did that and released her, "S.. sure.. I.. Ino."

Ino smirked as she won by manipulating him, though they both were blushing something fierce. They both swam to the shore, Ino getting there first, she looked back at Naruto as he got out and blushed some more. Naruto grabbed his shirt as they had finished their training, slipping it back on he looked at them, "Jiraiya-sensei said to return to the house when we were done training so I guess we should get going."

Both Ino and Kiba nodded in agreement as they all gathered their gear then began to trek their way back to Tazunas house. As they walked back to the house Ino was looking at Naruto. Naruto was still blushing from earlier though and had yet to look at her, he just kept his head forward while Kiba walked next to Naruto smiling.

Deciding that he was going to embarrass them both a little more Kiba got a mischievous smile, why not right? "You two were so cute in the water, if I didn't know better I would say that you both liked each other or something like that."

They both had wide eyes as they turned the brightest red that Kiba had seen that day. Both of them then yelled at the same time for him to be quiet all the while he smirked victoriously. Kiba ran ahead of them a little while yelling back at them, "I think you two need some alone time, don't be too naughty though."

The blond boy glared at Kiba as he ran ahead with a giant smirk all the while Naruto kept walking with a red blush. Naruto slowly looked over at Ino from the corner of his eye, not wanting to get caught looking at her. Naruto noticed the red on her face as well though. He then realized that she was blushing as well and then realized that the other times she had been blushing as well. Naruto suddenly stopped and looked at her, "Hey... um... Ino?"

She stopped and looked at him as he was looking at the ground, he wasn't sure if he should ask her the question. He didn't know if he would be able to handle her answer, "Wh... what do you... th... think about me?"

Her eyes got wide as Ino looked at him, she wasn't really expecting that question. She turned her head forward to attempt hide her own blush, "I think you are a really good friend Naruto, as well as my oldest friend. Lets get back to the house so that we don't make Jiraiya-sensei worry about us okay?"

Looking at the ground Naruto couldn't help but be a little depressed by her answer. He then replied with a defeated tone, "Yeah... your probably right."

Walking a step or two behind her the rest of way to Tazunas house Naruto was in his own head, "I shouldn't have asked her the question... I should have known I wouldn't like the answer, she has had a thing for Sasuke for years... Why am I so damn stupid?! Why don't I know when too just shut down my own emotions..."

When they got to the house Naruto walked up to Ino, putting his hand on her shoulder, which made is so she looked at him. She then saw a seal come off her body and reabsorb into him, she concluded it was the seal from earlier when they were in the water.

She also quickly noticed that he wouldn't look at her. Followed by even more odd behavior as he walked into the house too go lay down, saying he wasn't hungry on the way there. He went into the room that he was staying in, softly closing the door behind him as he hung his head. Naruto wasn't seen or heard from for the rest of the night.
