Hello Old Friends!
I am so sorry for this ridiculously long wait. I know you don't want to hear my excuses but I went out of the country, had classes during the summer, and a lot of other crap to do. So sorry. Hopefully this story will reach its end this year and not carrying on until the next since I do have some other ideas for other plasmashipping stories.
Now before we get into it (unless you already skipped this) I want to thank you so much for them comments, votes, and views. This story is actually #52 on #plasma ( which is funny it might be higher since #plasma has other stuff in it) and #27 on #plasmashipping :D So happy about that! Keep it going it really does motivate me.
Enjoy!
Disclaimer: I don't own Ninjago (If I did this special sets would contain Mikayla as one of the figures for— oh can't say since spoilers :p )

Chapter 10: The Affects it Had
Jay's POV
Fortunately for us, Mistaké knew exactly where to find this Varian's flame for the Vela de Deseos to light it up. She said the last piece we will need to activate it is some candle holder. I'm hoping- I'm praying that Kai and I don't have to get that as well. I'm so tired of fetching items for this jerk just because he has our friends. He's practically making us retrieve the items that he's gonna use to destroy Ninjago! Or take over Ninjago. Either way Velescure is using us to do his dirty deeds.
This is what I'm thinking of as I ride on my dragon. Welcome to the thoughts of Jay Walker while on a dragon.
I looked over at Kai and he seems completely out of it during flight. He is so dazed. I tried talking with him but nope, nothing came out of his mouth. He just shrugged and kept his thoughts to himself. Sometimes when I looked over to him, I can catch him eyeing the satchel. When he notices me watching him he quickly looks away.
I just want to get rid of this candle! So Kai can go back to being his normal self. His normal hotheaded, quick to act, pretty conceited, and competitive self that I lo— that I like! We're just friends... *clears throat* Anyways, did I mention we were racing last time we were on these dragons and I totally won. I tried to get him to race with me this time but as you maybe guessed it, he stayed quiet and dazed off. Okay one more attempt and maybe he'll-
"We're here." Kai spoke up, startling me out of my thoughts. He pointed ahead to a red temple, decorated with black flames. We flew to behind the temple. Kai's dragon hovered above the ground and then it disappeared, Kai landing on the concrete. I followed him and walked up to the entrance of the building. The temple was surrounded by a metal fence and a wooden gate, that had two men guarding the area with spears.
Okay so by temple I meant to say castle. This place was huge. The whole thing was painted red- which I feel bad for them painters, hope they got paid double- and some walls had black flames decorated on them. Other walls had shadowy figures of dragons in different poses. Mistaké had said that this was a place where people worshipped fire and anything that created it and controlled it. A cult that believed and worshipped fire as if it was the First Spinjitzu Master himself. Umm pretty interesting...
She also informed us that under any circumstances we were not allowed to use our powers. Especially Kai with his fire. She also said for me to not use lightning since it can create fire at times. But I don't know being treated like gods sound nice to me. Having people do whatever you want them to do. Oh I'll go mad with that power haha. Mistaké said that they know the powers of the ninja but don't know who has what since technology and anything with the the outside world is forbidden. Ugh no video games, just like Cloud Kingdom. So long as Kai doesn't use his and I don't use mine, this should go pretty well and smooth.
As Kai and I approached the gates, the two armed man held up their spears defensively. One with a beginning of a beard asked, "What do you want from here, strangers?
"Don't you know to stay away from here." The other one, without his two front teeth, chuckled. His pointed spear moving a couple inches towards Kai and I.
I backed up cause that guy just freaked me out. Kai on the other hand, stepped forward. His dazed expression gone and replaced with annoyance, "Look we-"
"Kai?" I exclaimed as the hothead stopped midway to place a hand on his forehead. This also caught the attentions of the guards as they lowered their spears and looked at the brunette. Kai's eyes were closed shut and his face was scrunched up in pain. I placed a hand on his shoulder and softly whispered, "Kai are you okay? What happened?" My eyes began to sting with concerned tears I held back.
Kai however let hot tears fall on his cheeks, his voice cracking as he answered, "I-I don't know." He took a step forward and this threw off his balance. Luckily I was near him and caught him as he fell into my arms. His eyes closed and he fell unconscious. I looked over to his chest and saw it slowly raise and fall. I released a breathe I didn't know I was holding in and looked at him.
"Come inside. We have someone that can look at your friend." The guard with stubble tapped my shoulder lightly with his spear.
"Okay." I nodded and grabbed Kai wedding style. His sleeping figure light in my arms, which had me worrying. Kai is easy to carry but he felt really light. His head leaned against my chest as I followed the guards inside once they opened the gates.
Through the gates, there was another pair of guards. They looked at us in confusion as we approached the entrance to the castle. The guard with stubble had informed them what had happened and they nodded and opened the doors for us. These guards by the way had swords instead of spears. So one of the sword guards followed me and the stubble guard inside. The guard with missing two front teeth stayed outside with the other sword guard.
Inside made this place look even more bigger than outside. The walls were painted a red orange and decorated with golden decals that looked like suns. In front of the doors was a huge black staircase. On top of it, was a woman dressed in a bright red dress with a weird crown on her head and sunglasses. She looked down at me and then her eyes traveled to Kai's passed out figure... I think. She is wearing sunglasses so...
Okay so this girl must be the leader since the crown thing and like she had five people following behind her.
I don't trust this gal. She kept eyeing Kai under her shades. I can feel it. I protectively held Kai tighter in my arms. I stared at her catching her attention, she frowned and turned to look at her guards. She spoke, "What have you brought me? Intruders into our haven." She said coldly.
The guard with stubble stuttered, "M-My fireness," He bowed, "these travelers had stopped by the gates when one fell ill."
Hold on a mo! Did he just wink?! Uh I think he just winked at her.. but I could be mistaken. I mean why would he possibly wink? How can he wink? He's just a guard and she's well she's a 'fireness'. I must've been seeing things. My head does hurt, slightly.
"Very well," the Queen waved her hand to my right, "They may take the room there. Then I'll be pleased to give them a tour myself in the morning." She smiled but I knew it wasn't for me as she looked down at my chest.
Something made my blood boiled. Call it what you will, heh certainly not jealously! "Thank you, your fireness" I bowed slightly, making sure that some of me had covered Kai from her sight.
Her tone was of annoyance as she replied, "Whatever. Guards keep an eye on them." I looked up to see her retreating, her entourage following closely behind.
I smirked and followed the guards up the stairs and towards the direction of the room.

Nya's POV
Tiger Widow Island. That was our next destination that Velescure had sent us. Only problem was that none of us knew what we were suppose to do there. Velescure hadn't left anything like he did for Kai and Jay. We were at blank and just hoped that there was some clue to our mission on the island.
Zane and Cole had went ahead, leaving Mikayla with me, to scout the island for any notes from Velescure. Or maybe a map. I told them to wait until morning but Cole refused and managed to convince Zane.
"We only have a night and two mornings to go to get back Sensei Wu and Lloyd." I recalled him saying.
They had left about forty-five minutes ago.
As I had stayed behind with Mikayla, I was on the deck of the Destiny's bounty teaching Mikayla how to defend herself if anything attacked us out there on the island. Zane had informed us that this island inhabited a giant spider and some weird worm creatures, so I suggested it was best that we waited on the bounty.
Mikayla was getting better but not with a sword or nunchucks or scythes. She had picked a weapon that attracted her attention and it clicked. She waved her spear left and right and then spun it around. She was a natural with it. I trained with her earlier- my weapon a pair of daggers, and we fought. She had managed to make them fly out of my hands. As I landed on my rump.
"Oh sorry!" Mikayla dropped the spear on the wooden deck and ran over to me. I took hold of her hand and she helped me up. "I don't know where that came from." She said with a look of remorse.
"Nah it's fine." I smiled at her to reassure her that everything was fine, "You did great. Have you ever used a spear before?"
She shook her head, "Never!" She smiled and then exclaimed happily, "I was good wasn't I?" She walked over to her spear and picked it up then twirled it in her hands.
"Yeah a natural." I chuckled at her excitement and went to pick up my own daggers. I placed them back in the sheaths.
We both heard a crack coming from the dark woods. The master of life quickly had her spear ready to fight. She quickly went to stand next to me as I spied for the intruder. I let out a breath of relief as Zane's glowing head appeared out from the trees, Cole following closely behind.
"It's only us." Cole waved his hands up in surrender as he walked ahead of Zane and approached the Bounty, a smile creeping onto his face.
I jumped off the side of the Bounty and went to hug him. I gave Zane a hug as well as he approached us. Mikayla went to stand behind us. When she noticed we were done she had asked, "Did you find anything?"
I was also curious if the boys had found anything and watched as Cole and Zane shook their head. Cole shrugged, "There was nothing that stood out of the ordinary."
"No papers nailed on the trees or markings guiding us to a specific path." Zane added, "Have you noticed anything?"
"No," I replied placing my hands on my hips, "Just did some training with Mikayla."
"I thought if I would touch the sand something weird would happen but nada." Mikayla joined in, "Oh but I am a natural with the spear. Wanna see?"
"A spear? Impress me kid." Cole smiled amused and he seemed to be curious. Mikayla smiled brightly and ran back onto the bounty to grab her spear and show them.
I watched as Cole and Zane followed her. I stayed there and sat down on the sand, looking into the dark jungle. Thoughts filled my head as the laughter behind me faded away.
What was our next step? Was Velescure going to pay us a visit to lead us to our next clue? Maybe drop something off that will lead us. Was Mikayla the only one that could figure out the next step? How are Lloyd and Sensei Wu? What about Kai and Jay? Did they get the candle?
"Hey you okay?" I was brought back to reality from the soft and smooth voice of Cole.
I blinked and nodded slowly, "Yeah I'm fine. Just overwhelmed with my own thoughts and concerns."
He sat down beside me, putting an arm over my shoulder, and I leaned my head on him. "What's concerning you so much?" He asked.
"Our missing friends. Our missing clue. How my brother and Jay are doing?" I answered him truthfully. I couldn't shake this feeling that Kai was in trouble.
"We're gonna see all of them again. We're gonna get Wu and Lloyd back. I'm sure the clue will be easier to find in the morning with more light." He turned to look at me, an assuring smile on his lips, "And Kai and Jay are alright. They can take care of themselves and each other."
"They do make a great pair." I had some ease knowing that Kai and Jay can take care of each other. They are best friends after all. I had to stay positive. I can hear Jay's voice saying the power of positive thinking. Cole always knew what to say, doesn't he? My cheeks blushed lightly as I looked him in the eyes. I pushed my face forward and placed a kiss on his lips. He kissed me back.
When we separated, I turned to look at the night sky, the stars shinning brightly, "Thanks Cole."
We stayed watching the night sky.

Jay's POV
So what the fireness and guards forgot to mention before they left was that there is only ONE BED!
Yup one bed for Kai and I to share! I thought it was already awkward enough that I had to go on this mission alone with Kai or that time I fell in front of him. Nope this one tops it all!
At least Kai is passed out. Oh Spinjitzu Master take that back Jay. I take that back!
So this "doctor" came in to see what was wrong with Kai. I insisted that I stay there during the whole check up, just in case these weirdos pull something but the guard took me out. He literally had to carry me and hold onto me until they were done. When the doctor came out he simply said your friend has a fever. A fever! How bad of a fever did this guy have, without me noticing this whole time, to pass out?! I watch Kai 24/7/369 and more and Kai was just fine! Except for the dazed expression due to the—- WHOLE CRAP!
I ran to the chair that had the satchel resting on it and opened it as fast as I can. Like lightning fast! I looked inside to see the candle. "Oh Vela de Deseos, you really had me worried. Phew." I wiped my forehead with the back of my hand.
Guess I'll have to take night shift in this weird place. With the candle and Kai, I think it's best if I don't sleep but watch the candle. I can't be certain Kai will be asleep all night or wake up and resist the temptation of touching this candle. Yup for Kai's safety, I'm gonna stay awake until morning.
Then in the morning, hopefully Kai feels a whole lot better so that we can get Varian's flame and get the Underworld out of here. I sat down on the chair and placed the satchel on my lap, closing it. I looked up at the sleeping brunette on the bed. He had hehe one arm hanging off the bed as always. He looked so peaceful and beautiful *sighs* sleeping and dreaming. Waaaaay better seeing him like this instead of scrunched up in pain and crying. Oh that was a nightmare. It probably hurt me as much as it hurt him. A pain I couldn't protect him from. It just happened. And worse I don't know how it happened. I couldn't prevent it or help him. But it better not happen again or else.
I smiled as I watched him sleep. Oh these pink rays made me a super stalker and weirdo. If he were to wake up *yawns* I wouldn't know how to explain why I was watching him sleep. Man this chair is so not comfortable at all and I'm feeling pretty chilly. For a place that worships fire, they got the heater on low.
*YAWNS*
Ugh stupid body. I repositioned myself to a semi comfortable position on the chair. How long has it been since I've slept? I mean I didn't sleep last night since I kinda snuck into Cyrus Borg tower to use that Perfect Match Console. And then the other night before cause I was planning how to sneak in and who I was gonna bring with me and what. Well third day without sleeping won't harm me now will it? Plus I sorta napped when I was passed out due to that booby trap.
Man this is the most uncomfortable chair on the planet! My eyes moved to spot the open space next to Kai. Oh no. It looks so nice and comfortable plus with Kai's body heat... A blush crept onto my cheeks at the thought of sleeping-lying next to him. I looked down again at the satchel in my arms before getting up and walking to the bed. I carried the chair and placed it next to the bed, tying the satchel so that it wouldn't be easy to steal. I slipped off my shoes and awkwardly laid down on the bed.
I looked at the ceiling as I laid there already feeling Kai's warmth. I scooted a bit closer to him, leaving him some space, and got comfortable. Spinjitzu Master why am I so awkward! Kai is sleeping, he doesn't know I'm lying next to him. Just chill, Jay. Guard the candle and him.
Man my eyes feel heavy like they are so close to closing but NO! I will stay awake. I turned to my side to look outside the window. The stars shined brightly in the dark sky, like nightlights. Brings me back to when I was younger. Back at the junkyard, I had a lot of nightlights (my eyelids began to flutter slowly) that made my room look like the night sky when I turned off the lights. People would just throw them out (my eyelids started to fall over my eyes slowly) even if they still had some juice left in them. I had different kinds ranging from animals to cartoon characters.
My eyes had closed.

Nya's POV
"Cole! Nya! Wake up!"
My eyes remained closed as his voice yelled at us. I just didn't have it in me to wake up yet. Couldn't Lloyd wake up Kai or Jay to take him to wherever he needed to go this time. Wait Lloyd?
My opened my sleepy eyes and saw him. Lloyd was here with us. His light colored hair a mess and his green eyes awake and ready to start a new day.
"Nya come on wake up!"
He probably wanted to go out on daily afternoon patrol with me and Cole. He usually liked to hang out with us around that time since Cole would take me to the best bakery in Ninjago for brunch. Lloyd simply loved their sweets there. I started to sit up on the bed, pulling off the red- red covers?
I blinked twice and my hazy vision began to clear as I noticed I was still in my ninja attire and sleeping on one of the bunk beds. Cole was lying there next to me, still snoring softly. I looked at her. It was Mikayla who had woken me up. Her light brown hair all over the place and she had a huge smile on her face.
"Nya! Look the next clue it's outside." She pointed towards the door that lead out of the room. "Outside like in outside of this boat- you know what I mean. Come on. Zane and I will be waiting outside."
My sleepy self had just registered what she said but she had already left. "Next clue?" I asked softly then quickly began to put on my boots. I headed over to the bathroom and started to brush my hair and then teeth.
A grunt lead me to look at Cole's direction, he yawned and stretched his arms. "Good morning." He smiled at me and swung his legs off the bed.
"Hey," I greeted him with a mouth full of toothpaste. I spat it out, "Mikayla and Zane found the next clue. Brush your teeth and then come out to meet us on the deck." I started to walk towards the door.
He finished putting on his boots and said, "I'll follow ya out now."
I turned and placed a hand on his chest, "After you brush your teeth and hair, honey." I chuckled and ran a hand through his hair.
He chuckled lightly and turned towards the bathroom, "Didn't hear you complaining when I kissed you yesterday." I can hear the water turn on.
"That's because your breath put me to sleep." I joked.
I heard him laugh, "Very funny."
"Don't take long." With that I went to meet up with Zane and Mikayla outside. Outside, the sun shined bright upon the jungle. The jungle almost looked safe and beautiful but we knew what was really in there.
"Where's Zane?" I asked Mikayla as she took out the spear from last night out of the weapons chest.
She placed it in its sheath on her back and replied, "I'll show ya. Uh where's Cole?"
"Right here." Cole answered before I could answer her. He came to me and handed me my daggers. He already had his scythe in its holder. "So lead us to Zane."
Mikayla nodded and gestured, "Follow me." She hopped off the bounty and headed towards the jungle, Cole and I behind her.
We pushed the limbs of trees aside as we went inside, but not very deep until we finally spotted Zane. He was scanning the path ahead. Seems like overnight Velescure had given us our clue. There ahead of us was a dark path surrounded by light. That certain area was the only darkness, as if the sun didn't shine there.
"I have scanned the area but have not found any other clue besides this strange dark path." Zane informed us.
"It really does stand out." Cole commented, Mikayla nodding as she looked in it. Thanks to the light around it we can see the objects on the path.
"Well should we get going?" Mikayla piped up, fear evident in her tone.
"Yeah," I agreed as Zane went in first. I followed with Mikayla behind me and Cole behind her. "It'll be better to travel while it's still daytime."
—-
We trekked on this path for about an hour now, nothing bad happened except for that time a bug landed on Mikayla and she freaked out. She thought it was a cockroach but Zane assured her that no such insect exists here in the jungle.
The first dark path we had been on had ended about twenty minutes ago before another showed up that we are currently on. Zane scanning the area ahead and our only source of light there, had pinpointed a cave entrance just a few feet ahead.
"We are coming upon the cave." Zane spoke up, his shooting stars already is his hands.
Cole, Mikayla, and I all unsheathed our weapons and we all approached the entrance of the cave. A sign was nailed down, reading in a big red letters:
Warning! Huge spider living there. I warned you! Your life at stake not mine!
"How big we talking about?" Cole asked in a scared tone. I turned to look at him and noticed Mikayla had also grown a worried expression.
"I'm sure it's not /that/ big. Maybe just to this person since they are really afraid of spiders." I tried to reassure the both of them. I held Cole's hand in mine.
"Actually Nya, the spider's length has been estimated to be-" Zane didn't continue when I shot him a glare that warned him that the spider won't kill him but me.
"Come on guys. We have to go in." I took hold of Mikayla's hand with my other hand and led both her and Cole inside. Zane following behind, his light off.
Hopefully the spider still believed that it was nighttime since outside of the cave it was dark. Then it would be fast asleep and we can find the next clue and get out safely. We entered cautiously and looked around for anything that looked strange.
Mikayla's hand had slipped out of my own. I let Cole's hand go and went to check on her. When Zane and Cole stopped I motioned for them to go on, "We'll catch up with you guys in a second." They nodded and continued. I went to Mikayla.
"Mikayla are you okay?" I asked as I approached her. She shook her head no, her fingers blocking her nose. Her eyes looked watery.
Her voice came out nasally as she said, "It smells really bad in here. It's making my vision blurry. My stomach's also really sick."
"Okay don't worry. We can go outside for some fresh air." I suggested, placing an arm around her shoulder and leading her outside.
She stopped in her tracks, causing me to halt as well, "I-I can't see." Her voice came out panicked.
I was confused. I looked at her, her eyes wide open and still watery. "It's probably the strong smell making your eyes watery. You should get some fresh air." I tried to calm her down.
"But- but it's all black!" She exclaimed a little too loud. Seeing that no spider was charging at us, a breath a relief escaped my lips. Mikayla's position had changed as she placed her palms against her stomach. Pain scribbled on her face.
I saw Cole approach me, coming from the side we came in. "Nya- Mikayla? Mikayla are you okay?" He asked worriedly as his eyes set on her. "What happened?" He looked at me.
"I don't know. She fell ill. She can't see and her stomach is killing her. Help me get her out—" I told him and helping Mikayla stand up straight so we can begin walking out of here.
"She can't," Cole interjected. He went by Mikayla's other side, holding her up with me. Mikayla softly whimpering in pain.
"What do you mean 'she can't'?" I inquired.
"Zane and I found the clue but the only one who can open the chest is her." Cole pointed at the light haired girl with his head. "She's the only one who can't die from the Widow's venom and spread it on the chest to open it and get the map that will lead to Lloyd and Wu."
"But this place is affecting her badly, really badly." I stated, looking at the young girl whimpering in pain and clutching her stomach with one hand.
"But she's the only one who can help us get our friends back. The Widow's sleeping, it'll be quick." Cole's voice sounded desperate, he knew that Mikayla was feeling pain but we both wanted to get our friends back. "She just gets the venom, spreads it on the chest like butter on bread and you and I get her out of here as fast as we can."
"I'll d-do i-it," Mikayla spoke up in a strained, pained voice. I nodded and with Cole's help took her to the location of the spider.
The Tiger Widow Spider wasn't that far from where Mikayla started feeling ill. Getting closer to the gigantic spider made Mikayla worser than before. She couldn't walk alone without someone beside her. Every step she took made her knees buckle and she fell every now and then. Cole and I quickly bringing her back up. Zane held the stone chest, which surprisingly weighted nothing, and took it to Mikayla.
The life master weakly lifted her hand towards the spider's tooth, green venom dripping from it. She took it in her hand and then carefully turned to spread it on the chest.
The chest glowed a bright green the only light in the room.
Zane's head light had disappeared and soon so did the light from the box. That's when I felt a fist connect with my stomach and heard Cole grunt in pain. Mikayla's body slipping away from my hold. I couldn't see anything, I couldn't protect her, and I couldn't dodge the huge rock that was headed my way.

Jay's POV
okay so i had fallen asleep
What can you blame me?! I haven't slept in two days and the warmth radiating from Kai it was a perfect time to snooze off. But unfortunately, something or someone had woken me up. So I'm not a heavy sleeper at all. Ask any of the Ninja. The lightest sleeper is Cole but I come in second. I can sleep through phone alarms but not fire alarms or someone invading my space.
That is exactly how I woke up that middle of the night and almost morning.
I woke up some time earlier than that because Kai had moved and it was getting a little to hot, so I removed some of the covers. But also I was sorta, kind of, maybe hugging Kai in my sleep. It was still to hot so I woke up and was hit by his aroma. His hair gel smell infiltrated my nostrils as I noticed my arms were around him and my head was comfortably placed on top of his shoulder.
Thank Spinjitzu Master that he didn't wake up cause I wouldn't know how to explain that at all! Luckily Kai is a very heavy sleeper. The only thing that seems to wake him up is throwing water at him but you get a result of him waking up, extremely pissed and a new birthmark of the rim of a cup on your forehead. Lloyd can back me up here and Cole.
Anyways, I quickly turned and scooted over away from him, giving him his space and blushing until I fell asleep. Maybeblushingstillinmydreams.
That was when I woke up the first time, not so bad. But the second time well...
I was having some dream with werewolves and Skull Rock, pretty weird to be honest. Kai was there, Lloyd was there, everyone was there. Kai and I had head out on the ocean in a canoe, while everyone else hanged back on the island. We just rowed and rowed, really nice time dream us were having. I don't remember what we were talking about but I was laughing and so was he when we stopped rowing. Everything was nice and calm until it wasn't. Lightning flashed and a storm came a brewing, moving our canoe like crazy. Kai, still having a fear of water, fainted and I was trying to wake him up. The boat began to sway widely until a big wave came and swallowed the canoe.
But that wave hit, I felt it out of my dream. I opened my eyes to find Kai, leaning over me, and reaching for the satchel. I quickly pushed him off, his body rolling to land on top of my feet. With my arms I reached for the satchel, grabbing hold of the chair and untying it. I looked inside and noticed the candle safely inside.
Kai got off my feet and sat upright. I can see the side of his face, his eyes stared down at the floor. I looked at him cautiously and cleared my throat. He didn't budge. Okay... well... I cleared my throat again. I really thought something would happen. That's when I finally spoke, "Kai?"
He turned his face to look at me. He lifted one hand to rub the sleep away from his eyes, the sun shine entering from the windows. He raised a brow, "Jay? Where are we?"
I'm honestly shocked! Heh lightning pun. But seriously... what just happened? Did- did he just forget everything that happened just now? What about yesterday? I must investigate.
"Uh don't you remember Kai. We're at that place where they worship fire like crazy." I slowly stated seeing if any part of his face lit up with recognition. But he actually looked even more confused. Okay what can I do to— ah maybe, "What's the last thing you remember?"
"Uh," He seemed to be trying to collect his memories, "Mistaké almost choking you to death and entering her tea shop but not leaving."
My yellow eyes widen. That was hours ago! Where in the Underworld did Kai disappear to? He looked at me, waiting for me to say something, anything but before I could respond the door flew open and the fire highness entered exclaiming,
"Good morning elemental masters of Fire and Lightning."
