Hi guys. Thank you SO SO much for all of your comments. They motivate me to continue this story. Also. Umm. Hello-this INUYASHA SEQUEL. 2020. Oh my well that just came out of nowhere- I know we are all SHOOK the house. I've spent HOURS on the phone with my old friends, theorizing the stories behind those children. I like to believe that Sesshomaru's "children" are just humans, and they're adopted. They look just WAY too mortal. If they're not, then I'd be disappointed with the consistency of the Inuyasha world tbh... Where are the demonic marks? The ears? Or at least the pointed ears? And why the demon slayer outfit? (So I'd like to think that they were Rin and Kohaku's children, and Sesshomaru adopted them FOR SOME REASON I am scared to know...). Or at least Kagura returns as a human and these are just her twins with Sesshomaru (I mean setsuna looks like her and sesshy lovechild,, and the red in towa's hair come on). Lmao I like being delusional. But at least Rumiko technically isn't the one making the storyline, which in my book... means this sequel won't be canon.

Anywho, that doesn't matter here. Sesshomaru and Kagura will always be my canon. Forever, and nothing can change that! Lmao!

Welcome back to DEKP as we enter chapter 3 ^.^ No my KaguSessh feels will never go away.

Chapter 3: Kagura, Witch of Winds

After Kagura's sassy remark, the cat demons were ticked. They turned their attention from the rich village man and to the woman with the ruby eyes and stylish new kimono. Kagura couldn't help it. She couldn't keep her opinions to herself, especially when it deals with two cat demonesses who think they are the shit.

"Now who the hell do you think you're talking to... Sweetie... are you new here?" the cat demon said as they approached Kagura, who stood un-phased and with her usual exceptional posture. Dancing really helped her maintain a graceful composure at all times.

"You're in my way." Kagura said with clear annoyance.

The two cat demonesses smirked, as they pranced towards her, disrespectfully destructing all of the village goods in the way.

Suddenly, she was cornered. The orange-haired one slapped Kagura in the face as the other grabbed her by her hair. After years of only rest, she was rusty. She'd forgotten how to fight. In fact, she was not even given a weapon this time re-entering the world.

The cat demons pushed Kagura and kicked her down to the ground. She let out a whimper. She felt weak.

..

"Awww, what's the matter baby? Cat got your tongue?" one said as she bellowed with feline-like laughter.

Kagura closed her eyes. She thought about who she was. Where she came from.

No, not from Naraku. Apart from him. Before him. Who was she? What was her true identity?

She suddenly thought about these cat demons. They were obviously in their own tribe. A family that they came from. Similar to Koga the wolf demon she remembered from the past. She felt alone, and silently wondered if a tribe for demons like her even existed. But then, she finally connected with her powers.

She suddenly opened her deep, ruby eyes as the air around her began to lift her up gently. A wave of wind blasted out from every direction as Kagura slowly gathered her hands to her chest.

"I said, get out of my way, bitches."

With a motion of her hand, and the flick of her finger, she sent the two cat demons flying, throwing them against the walls of a house. The local villagers around the area let out gasps of shock. But soon, they began to cheer as they witnessed the beautiful wind sorceress end the two demons, who had been causing them much misery.

Kagura rolled her eyes as she shook herself off.

I'd never done that before. I didn't know I had that in me. Something felt... different. She thought to herself.

"Thank you so much dear mysterious, beautiful, demoness..." one rich man began to say.

"How could we repay you? You can take anything for free! Please!" the kimono shop lady marveled.

"...Thanks." she responded. And with that, she proceeded to leave, wearing the new kimono and earrings of her choice. She'd gained a little more confidence now that she knew she looked great.

She gracefully lifted her feather to toss up into the air, as it grew into her personal magic carpet. She couldn't wait to get out of this scene. She was over it.

In another forest, Jaken was trailing behind Sesshomaru partly to be of assistance to him, but partly also to find out what exactly his master planned to do, now that Kagura the Wind Witch had come back to life. Jaken had his hunches about Sesshomaru, seeing how questionable his actions were whenever it came to this woman. He always let this woman walk all over him! She would insult him again and again with her sharp tongue and he'd let her. Whatever it was, he had to get to the bottom of it. The green imp had witnessed how his master treated that wretched woman differently, time and time again, letting her get away with it. In addition, Sesshomaru was the one who saved her last night. Jaken was not in favor of this Lord mingling with that wench. He had to admit, she was a good looking demoness, and perhaps she was Sesshomaru's type, but there was NO WAY his Lord Sesshomaru could ever develop those kinds of emotions. Or could he? Jaken couldn't help but be suspicious of this new situation. Jaken decided he had to keep a close eye on his Lord. But why was he walking so fast today?

"LORD SESSHOMARU! OH LORD SESSHOMARU? OH-" the green little imp tripped over himself as he tried catching up with the strong, armored man in the white kimono. Jaken was stopped as Sesshomaru had suddenly come to a halt. His deep, golden eyes stared blankly into the forest as he seemed to ponder a new idea in deep thought.

"Jaken. I'm busy. Don't bother me for the rest of the day." the powerful demon spoke.

"But- but-"

"Enough. Get lost"

Jaken pouted and gave up, as he let out a deep sigh of sadness. Before he could even speak, Sesshomaru had disappeared.

Kagura sat under a nice, maple tree as she leaned her body against its cool, soft bark. She decided she needed to practice her powers again before she would have to encounter another demon, possibly stronger than the duo of idiot demons that had tested her earlier. She closed her eyes and tried to control the air around her, this time, with more precision. The lush sound of the trees moving in the wind, orchestrated by herself, gave her great satisfaction. It was nothing much, but it was progress. She smiled, beaming with light as she felt her power grow.

"YES!" she cheered.

When she opened her eyes, she saw a tall, handsome dog demon standing before her. Startled, she slowly looked up to meet his amber gaze. Her ruby eyes sparkled with amusement.

"Hey.." she began. Her heart beating a little faster than it was before, she stood up. Sesshomaru stood unwaveringly still, his expression detached, as he looked at the onyx haired woman. She quickly regained her composure as she switched back to her usual flirtatious tone.

"Came to see me? Don't tell me you've missed me already?" Kagura teased. She casually blew air into her bangs to fix them cutely as she put her hand on her hip with womanly charm. She smiled with amusement in her eyes as she waited for his reply. She never lost her confidence, even when it came to this powerful, handsome demon. He obviously came here purposefully to see her. She was flattered.

The older brother of Inuyasha never broke his calm gaze with her as the wind tousled his silver hair. With a deep voice, and with what seemed like a short yet profound moment to collect his thoughts, he finally spoke.

"I want to know what exactly your agenda is."

Half-expecting the question, Kagura still hadn't given it a thought. She was just plopped back into this world again. She pondered about her answer, but she couldn't seem to find what to say. She wasn't sure. Kagura looked down at her hands, and then stepped away from him as if she wanted to be alone to think about it.

"I... Don't have one" she remarked. Surprised, Sesshomaru eyes slightly widened as he examined the situation. Displeased with her answer, he asked again,

"Really?"

She then turned back around to look at him, her bubbly, ruby eyes meeting his golden embers of piercing intensity.

"Well, I guess I do sort of have one. It seems I have to re-learn all of my powers. I feel... Different. I feel like there is something inside of me that I haven't fully figured out yet." she remarked with full honesty. Her tone of voice was genuine now. Then she quickly went back to her flirtatious charms. "But anyways...

"...Why do you care?" she purred.

"Because I need to know if one of my old enemies are back or not" he responded carefully. He knew there was no trace of the evil half-blood demon anywhere near this newly returned woman. That was a lie. He was interested in her, after all, he'd wanted to save her before realizing he couldn't. He wanted to figure out how such thing was possible now. He couldn't believe he was seeing her in full form, right before his eyes in the moment. Her face was the same, almost more beautiful than he'd remembered. A strange, yet attractive woman. He wanted to know more about this situation.

"Alright. Well I honestly told you everything I know" Kagura told him, starting to brush things off. She was confused herself as to why suddenly she came back. She thought back to her first encounter with him the day before when she'd come back, and how Sesshomaru was the one to first find her. She smiled softly as she looked back up at him. She saw two swords on the handsome dog demon, one of them familiar but the other one she's never seen before, Bakusaiga. He'd also gained his left arm back, she noticed.

He tried to save me when I was dying... And now he was the first to find me when I came back.

His build was heavier now, stronger. He'd become even more of a man. A look of maturity rested upon his face, different from before. A man with more responsibilities. Little did she know that how Tenseiga was throbbing again, Sesshomaru was simply choosing to not react.

Sesshomaru walked an indefinite step towards Kagura as he analyzed her. Her radiant skin and her raven hair looked completely rejuvenated and healthy. She had a new sense of light, a healed, comfortable aura around her, and a warm sparkle in her eyes. There was a soft scent of flowers coming from her. This time, it was just her. Her true scent. He could never forget it, it was a pleasing scent that he favored. Such a strange woman, but such a good scent and not too hard on the eyes either. She had no weapon on her, he noticed. She was truly back; this was no illusion. She was real, body and soul.

It was still early morning. She was hungry. Her stomach let out a little growl, as she startled herself. Seeing a little blush on Kagura's face, Sesshomaru smirked oh so subtly. He closed his eyes.

"Wind sorceress Kagura, have you not eaten?" he inquired. He knew she must have been starving.

"Oh.." Kagura hadn't even realized. After years of not needing to eat, she'd forgotten what it was like to be hungry. She looked up at him and then as if she'd gotten a spectacular idea, her face lit up with child-like excitement.

"I know just where to go. It's really close by here. There's a place I used to always go to for hunting food," she beamed. She was glad she remembered. It was a secluded forest not far from where they were. She loved the views there. There was a river, and it was secluded enough for nobody else to ever be there. It was like a hidden treasure, a place only she knew, and she'd often go alone to blow off steam when Naraku was stressing her out.

Sesshomaru just blankly stared at her as she turned her back to leave. She wasn't expecting him to join her. The powerful dog demon saw her turn around, almost as an afterthought, and took in the image of her waving a farewell to him.

"See you around, Sesshomaru."

Kagura was now alone. She walked along the path of the engulfing forest. The lush trees were colored in deep shades of green and the ground was soft. Not many knew of this location, that's why it was her favorite forest. As she looked for food, she suddenly heard a twig snapping noise. Certainly the step of someone nearby. Hesitantly, as if they were purposefully hiding from her. Feeling spied on, she turned around to look at her full surroundings. Suddenly from behind her she saw two giant, scary monsters staring at her.

"Delicious." One growled as it laid eyes on her with slobber on his mouth.

She panicked. Trying to save herself, she tried to move the wind again to attack them. It wasn't strong enough. The pair of demons were too giant to be phased by anything she did. She struggled as the gray monster grabbed her. It picked her up from the ground by her waist as she whimpered. She couldn't release herself from the powerful demon's grip.

"Let me gooo!" She cried as she tried to escape. He held her closer to its face to get a better view.

"Pretty." He licked his lips as if he was looking at a delicious meal.

Kagura used her utmost strength to awaken her wind powers again. It was useless. The demon squeezed her tighter as she almost lost consciousness. She closed her eyes in defeat, until she heard a sharp sound.

Suddenly, what seemed like a lightning bolt slashed through the giant demon's arm, cutting Kagura free from its deathly grip. Sparks of green light were evidence of the action that otherwise felt unreal like the speed of light. Before Kagura could process what was happening, she found herself falling fast towards the ground. She screamed seeing she was about to drop 20 feet, but with a sudden woosh, the wind sorceress came to find out she somehow was no longer victim to gravity. That she'd fallen into someone's strong arms. The soft, white fabric was like a familiar sensation on her skin. She'd known this position quite well by now. She looked up to see her savior. It was none other than the stoic lord of dog demons himself.

Sesshomaru gently sat her down, far from where the giant demons were, one of them angrily growling for his newly lost limb. The shocked Kagura looked up at the dog demon, but before she could speak, the silver-haired demon had swiftly turned to face the giants again.

He swiftly sped towards the giant demon as he unsheathed his Bakusaiga. With indubitable confidence, he used just one stroke to strike the two giant demons in half. Within seconds the giant had disintegrated. From afar, Kagura could sense how even more powerful Sesshomaru's demonic energy had gotten.

That was the first time Kagura had seen Bakusaiga in action. Her eyes widened, impressed by the new things the tough dog demon could do. He was way stronger than before. With a hmph, Sesshomaru finally turned back around as he sheathed his sword. He then looked at Kagura with his usual detached expression. He saw her looking up at him with doe-like eyes, stunned about what had just happened.

"Thanks." she gasped.

Great. He probably thinks I'm a helpless girl who can't even hunt for her own food.

Sesshomaru closed his eyes, and for a split second, furrowed his eyebrows. He was convincing himself that he only saved her because she was conveniently so close. The truth was, he couldn't help but feel responsible for her now. He concealed his actions with his usual condescending arrogance.

"I see you've gotten weak Kagura."

Kagura frowned as her cheeks began turning pink.

"Why you... I'm not weak! I just haven't figured out how to get my powers back just yet," Kagura defended. She then asked him why she even saved her in the first place. To his response:

"You were helpless. I simply don't like witnessing that,"

She was heated. In a way, what Sesshomaru had said was however true. He couldn't bear to let her die again. He'd felt like he was partially responsible for her death, for not being able to save her when Naraku had attacked her. In fact, not a day had passed where he didn't entertain the thought of what could have been, if he'd just saved her maybe by deciding to help her sooner -from the moment she'd come to him to first ask for his help. She'd wanted her freedom, passionately. She'd fought for it courageously, sacrificing herself to disobey her master's orders. Grit.

A part of him did feel responsible for her. This time he'd subconsciously promised himself to never let her go like that again. But why him? Was it his pride? His abilities questioned as a powerful dog demon? Self-criticism for what he couldn't do in the past? Either way, a rosy cheeked Kagura was grr-ing in front of him, as he witnessed her fiery spirit come back to life in real-time. She growled as she started to explode.

"YOU-"

"Or were you doing that on purpose? Are you wanting to ask me for help again, Kagura?" Sesshomaru interjected. But he knew she wasn't doing this on purpose. He was teasing her in his cruel way.

"NO! Is that who you take me for? Trust me, I really wasn't planning on asking you for help again. Ever. I'd given up on that a long time ago." she exploded.

"You're going to need my protection from the time being if you want to keep living." Sesshomaru remarked, ignoring her.

"Why do you suddenly care?" she exploded.

"...Also, don't you patronize me! You think I wanted to ask you for help all of those times? I had no other choice!" she fiercely added.

Sesshomaru blinked as he looked upon her face. She was a scary woman. He was glad to see her personality had remained the same. He smirked, which did she did not let slip by.

"Am I entertaining to you?" Kagura's eyes glowed vibrant red as she angrily scolded him.

"I'm simply amused by your lack of gratitude. I just saved your life. Don't get so ahead of yourself," Sesshomaru spoke with a detached look on his face.

"Ugh! You could have just saved me and shut up about it. But now you're just being a cocky bastard," she seethed.

She walked towards him and got close to his face. He was unfazed, never breaking the gaze into her ruby eyes. She furrowed her brow as she glared at him. But she knew she wouldn't be alive if he hadn't rushed to come save her. She couldn't fight him. She was about to say something, but she instead let out a defeated sigh as she lowered her eyes. She was now staring at his two swords. Sesshomaru kept his ground as he waited for her to figure out what she truly was: which was really hungry and needing food.

Changing the subject, Kagura remarked.

"What do you have sheathed there? The new one," she observed as she pointed to Bakusaiga. To her question, Sesshomaru concisely explained its origins to the wind sorceress with pride. She had some catching up to do.

"That's impressive. But I knew you were always strong.." she praised, as she ran a finger along the sheath of Bakusaiga on his waist.

"It is not my full potential. This Sesshomaru continuously gets stronger," he scoffed as his eyes followed her hands as they felt his sword. He was clearly liking this conversation.

Then, Kagura's stomach growled again, reminding her how hungry she was. After all of what had happened this morning -especially this -she was simply famished. Sensing a deer in the woods next to her, she turned around as she carefully followed it with her eyes. Sesshomaru watched inquisitively as she killed it, quick, with a graceful motion of her hand. She'd used her basic wind powers to cleanly chop the animal -with no pain.

She carried the deer for a few steps when Sesshomaru could hear the lively sound of water from a nearby river. He followed her as she passed through a now open meadow of herbs, where she gathered a few of them before sitting on a smooth rock next to the lively river.

In a snap, she made a fire from thin air by blowing out a swift wind. The fire roasted the fresh deer with an addition of some herbs she'd picked up. Once it was done, it looked perfect. The dog demon noticed how Kagura had a knack for creating art with whatever she touched. She was a witch of many talents.

"Try it!" She gave Sesshomaru a nicely roasted leg before she began eating herself. Yum! It said it all over her face.

Apathetic, Sesshomaru was simply about to refuse when Kagura added,

"Come on! This can be my way of repaying you for saving my life today," she smiled into the words. Her hair softly waved in the wind as she smiled up at him with the deer in her hand. A cute, genuine smile he saw for the first time from her. Sesshomaru took it.

It was deliciously cooked. He took a bite and his eyes widened slightly. It was really good. He didn't know Kagura could cook. Anybody could have fallen madly in love with her at any moment now.

"And most IMPORTANTLY... I don't plan on being in debt to a man like you!" she clarified.

"I've had it with men thinking they own me simply because they brought me my life or whatever,"

Sesshomaru made an ever so slightly amused smile as he listened. She seemed to have lightened up after filling her hungry stomach. Kagura looked at him in awe when she caught his rare smile again. She then realized how much kindness Sesshomaru was actually presenting her. Now, it wasn't wrapped in no ribbons or bows, but the content inside was genuine. He was helping her, in his usual disguise of arrogance.

"Also, I didn't mean to blow up on you earlier. I'm not an ungrateful bitch, I honestly think i'm sensitive and sad about not having my powers completely back," she confessed. She was very confused too, and having an identity crisis on top of that was not adding to create a best case scenario.

Sesshomaru didn't say a word, but seemed to nod slightly in response. He looked towards the rushing river as the birds chirped in the distance.

"I'll only stay with you until you get your full powers back," he declared.

"...I'm assuming you want me to protect you." he added, carefully observant. Sesshomaru turned to look at the wind sorceress sitting comfortably next to him. Kagura then smiled radiantly, taking him off guard.

"Alright Sesshomaru. I'll let you be my personal knight in shining armor." Kagura said seductively, as she licked the bone with her tongue. Her eyes fixated onto his handsome face.

"I'm leaving once you can fare for yourself," the stoic dog demon muttered. He looked over at the woman and saw that some pieces of her raven hair had became a bit loose from the previous demons that had attacked her.

Kagura was relieved that she had a strong demon like Sesshomaru to be by her side while she could sort out her power situation. She was feeling anxious, she had to admit. It was unsettling to have to find out you no longer knew how to use your powers like before.

But could I ever get my full powers back in time? How long will this take?

Kagura brushed it off.

"Just know that it is a privilege that you could spend time with this Kagura" she joked as she began to redo her hair.

Sesshomaru looked as she untied her hair completely from the tie, seeing her tresses flow down like ink in water. It was a lovely sight. She flipped her hair and organized it with her fingers to put it back into her signature, spunky bun. The river was flowing more vivaciously with the recent shower of rain from the other day. The location was serene, and the two demons were seen sitting side by side, enjoying good demon food.

The lord of the western lands didn't say a word as he felt Kagura getting on her knees next to him. She inched closer to the point her bangs were now touching the side of his face. Sesshomaru's eyes slightly widened when he suddenly felt a cool breath on his ear.

"Is this our first date?" Kagura whispered softly as she jokingly seduced him. She loved teasing the stoic dog demon as if he was falling in love with her.

"Hmph."

Flirting was fun. She was always half joking of course. But looking at the expression on his face, she was suddenly feeling nervous. Sesshomaru said nothing as he looked deeply into her eyes. Golden pools of amber meeting warm, deep ruby. Kagura blushed as she said, "I'm kidding! Gosh."

What was that look? For a second I swear he was thinking of fucking me.

"Anyways I've never spent this much alone time with you" Kagura pondered out loud. She put her hand on her chin as she turned to look at him. Sesshomaru grunted quietly, before she continued to say,

"This is gonna be fun."

The titles of these chapters suck so bad. I'm sorry I'll get better with those. But anyways; first chapter in 2 years. How did yall like it? I, for one, feel great about this story now. Better than I was originally starting! (honestly scrap everything in the first chapters where i bring in random birds and stuff and feathers and whatever. You can erase that, it will not be important. I'm legit about to delete those parts as i edit the first few chapters.. I said so much unnecessary shit)

I have everything mapped out now. It's gonna be so hot and cute... I have the storylines planned out for the next 3 chapters too, so keep an eye out for those. Thanks guys. It's Kagura and Sesshomaru forever luv...

I also have a penchant for making Sesshomaru love Kagura more than she does him... I enjoy making Kagura the queen and Sesshomaru the guy who's lucky enough to simply be acquainted with her ^.^ But in the series too, I feel like Kagura on the surface level, looked like she was the one all over him. But in the context of Sesshomaru as a character and the way he treated her differently says so much to me... I might even say he loved her more than she did him. It was at least more visceral for him, for sure. Kagura was always just desperate to escape. I legit think she thought Sesshomaru was her only hope. In a way, manipulating him to get what she wants at the end of the day. The cherry on top is she probably thought he was hot too; but I mean yeah duh. I'm just tired of anti-sesskagu's always creating the narrative that Kagura was the only one in love with Sesshomaru and that he didn't care for her. Last time I checked, he had an entire character shift? His sword was finally able to transformed into a fighting weapon? All due to his feelings for her?

So :)
