"Author notes." It's been awhile since I have written an X-Files story.
I know what love is...
Chapter one
Dana Scully in her seventh month of pregnancy with her second child was worried. Lately she had been able to feel William's presence for some reason. Even though Mulder insisted that William was long gone and won't ever be coming back.
She was told by the doctors to have the next two months of bedrest at Mulder's house. He's been working once again at the F.B.I. with Skinner's boss. He's been out west working on a kidnapping case for which the F.B.I. were brought in. Even though the parents had insisted that their nine year old daughter Melissa was taken by aliens. And Mulder with the X Files still in business was investigating the movements.
Mulder was supposed to be calling Scully in an hour or so to bring her up to date on the case. She was in the bathtub relaxing while the second child another miracle active inside her tummy. She had left her cell-phone on the top of the bathtub with getting the hot water and bubbles onto it.
She had closed her eyes for a moment when she felt Mulder's presence inside the bathroom. When she felt someone touching lightly her shoulder.
"OMG!" This scared the hell out of her with needing to keep on looking all around. There was no one around inside the bathroom.
Then she jumped again when her cell-phone had gone off to be Fox Mulder with his name showing up onto the front screen. "Jesus, you scared me I am in the bathtub soaking." She commented and no doubt he will come up with a comment ...
"Oh really! It's too bad I can enjoy a hot soak with you and really get hot and heavy?" Mulder said from inside his motel room with Skinner as his roomie getting some fresh air before going over the day's events with his agent.
"How's Skinner taking it with being your roommate?" Scully will asked even though Mulder was able to pick up a strange vibe from her.
"Now what do you think Dana? And besides I am more worried about you and the baby. " He will be concerned with having to be thinking about William as well since disappearing from the dock.
"I must tell you this baby is active even in this tub. I would doubt I will be able to get any sleep. Fox, I need to asked you on whether you're able to feel William's presence?" At first he needed to think first before answering her question.
"Yeah I have Scully. It's kinda strange that all of a sudden he's been calling out to use for help. I know this may sound strange to say." While Skinner was walking inside when he said he saw someone in the bushes looking like William hiding before running away.
"What's going on Mulder?" She replied with feeling a chill going through her body and the window opening up by a heavy wind.
"Listen I will call you back soon. Don't worry about a thing Scully." He hung up the phone to have Skinner to go out with him with placing on his jacket.
Searching for twenty minutes they were unable to find a thing nor any footprints. Mulder asked again with Skinner needing a shave with the heavy beard on whether he was sure with seeing William.
Standing outside the doorway of the motel room. Both men were spoked and went inside. Mulder needed to call back to Scully. "I told you, Mulder that I wasn't really sure. But why now Mulder will he make an appearance out here in Texas?"
"Good question unless it has something with the case we're working on with the abduction? Any way I need to call Scully back with finding out how's she's doing.
Dana Scully had gotten out of the tub to close the window and dressed quickly to soothe her nerves with a cup of Herbal tea when the phone rang again.
"Mulder what happened?" She sipped her hot tea in the living room of his house. Thought she had been living there ever since they had remarried.
"I know this may sound crazy to you. Skinner had thought that he had seen our son William lurking in the bushes of the motel room." Mulder responded...
"I would tend to believe him Mulder with like me feeling his presence in the bathroom. I just don't know why this is happening unless he needs out help for something?" Scully responded to have Mulder thinking about it for a moment.
"It's possible Scully. Maybe he was a lead on the abduction of the nine year old Melissa from her bedroom. Listen I have to go now. I need for you to relax and take it easy. Maybe William will try again with contacting us both."
"I will try Mulder to relax. Good night and I love you." She will say on very few times of late. She was scared and needed to say it this time before he will say the following..."Ditto." After hanging up the phone with Skinner on whether Mulder to eat with him at the diner a block away. He agreed.
Scully placed her phone onto the table in the kitchen to take a look outside...Forecasters had been predicting heavy rain with thunder and lighting. When she walked out into the chill with her light blue jacket she was able to see on the horizon lighting on the way as with the rain smelling it.
However all of a sudden she felt another chill go through her body and with the wind howling sounding like a man's voice sounding like William asking to be helped...
She was freaked with heading back into the house to try and drown out the noises. When she heard the clapped of another lighting strike over the horizon...She tried laying down on the black long sofa that was kinda ugly in her eyes. Even though her husband Fox Mulder loved it a great deal. She closes her eyes with throwing the blue blanket over her body and the baby.
