I DON'T OWN THE VAMPIRE DIARIES OR THE CHARACTERS.
Chapter Fifteen:
Caroline moved out and Elijah moved in. It probably should have surprised me, how comfortable it was being domesticated with him, but it didn't. It was easy and I loved it. I loved him.
Caroline was helping me plan the wedding. I really didn't care about the details, but she did. I just wanted to be married to Elijah. The specifics didn't much matter.
We did make an agreement that neither of our bachelor or bachelorette parties would have any strip clubs. We both spent enough of our time in them. We didn't need to spend anymore. And Elijah never wants anyone else to dance to for him, so it works out.
He became a welcomed facet in the Bennett household. And it became hard to remember what it was like, before he was there. Love is funny like that.
I took a deep breath and smoothed out my dress, as Caroline fussed over my hair. She was my maid of honor and Klaus was Elijah's best man. It was fitting, since they've become inseparable. I just can't believe our wedding day is finally here. It feels like it's been forever in the making.
"You look gorgeous, Bonnie. Are you ready?" Care asked me. I nodded, shakily. I was nervous, but I was beyond ready. I wasn't about to let my nerves get the best of me.
"I've never been more ready." I told her.
"You're gonna knock 'em dead."
I walked down the aisle with Alaric. He agreed to give me away, since my own father was such a deadbeat. Tears filled my eyes, as I realized this was actually happening. I couldn't believe it. I was so happy, so blessed.
Alaric let go of my hand and kissed it before leaving me with Elijah, and sitting in his seat. I beamed at him. And tried to stay present during our vows. I was getting lost in his eyes.
We both took turns repeating our vows and I held his hands as we recited them. I felt giddy. I can't believe this is actually happening. How did I get so lucky?
"You may now kiss the bride." The minister announced. We kissed and it felt cosmic. I felt it in my toes.
"I love you." I murmured.
"Always?"
"Always."
A/N: I couldn't not end with a wedding. They're too cute to not marry them. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
