Chapter: 1 Beginning of the Tournament

After being warned about the tournament of power the gods form the universes the were participating were recruiting fighters to particiapte in the tournament, in Universe 13 in a throne the god of destruction was a human looking one with long brown hair, blue eyes, has a beard, he was wearing the god of destruction outfit with the pants being gold and golden bracelets, he was lord Merl and he was sitting on his throne, next to him are the angel which was a women wearing a magenta version of the angel and had a ponytail she was Cera and the supreme kai that looked a younger version of Zamasu wearing a blue version of the clothes he was Shirou.
"We need to find ten members fast to be able to win."Merl said.
"Yes but who do we pick?"Shirou asked.
Merl thinks about it and then gets a idea and said:"Cera remember a world that has strong fighters with a bizzare power."
"Why yes is it the world that has those fairy tale beings?"Cera asked.
"Yes theres is plenty of strong warriors there we will recruit ten of them to help save our universe."Merl said with a smile.
At the arena of Tournament most of the universes have arrived with their teams except for one, as the the other teams waited the final universe arrived as they all look to see Merl with his chosen team and they wereGiorno, Wes, Josuke, Okuyasu, Jolyne, Bruno, Jotaro, Hermes, Prosciutto and Risotto as they were ready to defend their home and loved ones.
"It seems Merl got a bunch of children to fight for him."Beerus said as he looks at them.
"Hey even if their young they can be strong too so."Goku said as he goes to talk with them.
Team universe 13 looked to see Goku approaching them and he said:"Hey I'm Goku nice to meet you."
"So you're Son Goku."Giorno said as he observes him.
"That's right, I came to see you guys before the tournament started."Goku said with a smile.
"Let me guess you wanted to see because the rest of my team is very young, well don't worry about their age they are strong too."Jotaro said certain about his team strenght.
"Well I hope to see it."Goku said.
After that Goku went back to his team as the gods where in the seats around the arena as they waited for the tournament to start, Merl looked at his team with a smile has he knows of their strenght and had hope in them.
"Hey Merl."Merl looks to Quitela"nice team of children is the adult their babysitter." he chuckles.
"I wouldn't underestimate them they have powers that will surprise you."Merl said.
This got the gods attention as they look at universe 13 as they wonder what kind of power they have so they watched when they decided to reveal it.
The Grand Priest explained the rules as they need to throw the opponents out of the arena to eliminate them, the Omni Kings gave a few words and they waited for it to begin.
"Okay remember stay together to throw out the enemy only seperate if you need to."Giorno said.
"Okay okay so we have a better chance if we gang up on them."Jolyne said as they look as the other universes.
"Also Prosciutto, when we give you the signal you can use you're stand."Risotto said quietly as he nodded.
"Begin."The Grand priest gave the signal as the universe charged at each other as chaos was started, the Omni Kings were amazed at the sight, Universe 13 stayed behind as they avoided the chaos.
While they were observing some wer eliminated like that butterfly girl Lilibeu and a green guy called Nink, they saw that Universe 9 where attacking Goku and Vegeta, as they were observing something came at their way it was Narirama as he was spinning around so they had to dodge but he stoppd by Hit as he destroyed his arms.
Hit looks at them as they were staring at each other before running of to another place as he must have thought not to face them all at once.
"So who do we strike first?"Josuke asked as they look around.
"Wait until the time is right we have the element of surprise."Jotaro said.
They heard a sound to see that Universe 9 only had the Trio de dangers as they were at the edge of the arena with Goku and Vegeta facing them, so they launched they're attack the Triangle danger beam while Goku and Vegeta launched a Kamehameha and Final flash as they're combined attack overpowered the Trio de dangers making them get thrown out of the arena.
Team Universe 13 were stunned at the amount of power that they have but strenght isn't everything as they can easily counter the same attack.
"Universe 9 is eliminated, so they will be erased."The Grand Priest said.
"Grand Zeno no."The universe 9 kai pleaded.
"Bye bye."Omni kings said as universe 9 was erased.
Everyone was shocked as they saw them get erased, this made universe 13 to make sure they win because they will lose the people they care about.
"This is a tournament of survival so we must win if not we will lose everything."Giorno said as he remembers that Raven is waiting for him back home so he must protect her.
"Yes we must protect our friends and loved ones."Josuke said to protect his mother and girlfriend.
"Okay for now find must fight to eliminate now so everyone be careful."Jotaro said as they nodded.
As they fight resumed again Wes saw something that made him mad and goes to that direction surprising his team.
"Wes wait."Jolyne said.
"Where is he going?"Okuyasu asked confused.
Jotaro looks ahead, he sighs but he smiled and said:"looks like he's still a hero."
At another part of the arena, Kale from universe 6 was fighting a member of universe 11 called Methiop, he continues to punch at her as she blocks them with her arms making her step back, she lands a punch on his face and his arms fell down.
"Yes."Kale said happy about it.
He opens his eyes while the face tentacles grabs her hand and he said:"Just kidding."
Kale got scared as she tries to pull her hand then she was punched in the stomach, she steps back as she holds her stomach in pain, she then steps on a foot making her nervous and she looks back to see Napapa.
"That hurt."Napapa said and he grabs her by her ponytail.
"S-Stop!"Kale saidas she struggles but he laughs at her.
"As of today you're a human punching bag."Nanpapa said.
Methiop throws a few practice punches, he turns to her and said:"are you ready?"
Kale got scared but before they could do anything they were blown away by a gust of wind as Kale was thrown to the air, she falls down but then she was caught in someones arms, she opens her eyes to see it was Wes and he was angry.
Napapa and Methiop got up, they looked to see who did it and Methiop said:"hey what are you doing, she is from a rival universe yet you saved her, why would you save a enemy when she could have been eliminated?"
"The thing I hate is weak pieces of scum who think are strong for ganging up on a girl."Wes said as he glares at them.
They got angry as they prepared themselves while Kale was stunned and she blushed at how close they were.
Napapa chuckled and said:"well you're now defenceless since if you carry her you can't defend yourself."
"Oh really, well you didn't know what my universe can do."Wes said as they got confused.
Then Weather Report appeared by his side surprising them and Wes said:"Meet Weather Report my stand."
"Stand?"Napapa said confused.
"Wait that is a extra member so you're cheating."Methiop said.
"No, a stand is a manifestation of ones fighting energy so he is appart of me."Wes explained as they got shocked to hear that.
"Wait a manifestation of ones fighting energy."Gowasu said confused along with Rumsshi.
The other gods were stunned to hear that has now they now what secrets that universe 13 has.
"It seems these stands could interesting to see."Whis said curious about them.
"I can't believe they have this type of power that basically doubles their members."Beerus said angry about it.
Goku saw it and said:"whoa amazing I can't wait to see how strong that stand is."
The two members of universe 10 charged at him as Weather Report stood infront of him as they got close when they touched his stand they got electrocuted shocking(no pun intented) everyone around that saw it and Weather report sent a stronger gust of wind sending them flying out of the arena and they appear on the seats.
"Napapa and Methiop from universe 10 are eliminated."The Gand Priest said.
"Napapa."Zeno 1 said as he clicks on the screen with Napapa face.
"Methiop."Zeno 2 said as he presses Methiop screen.
"That was cool."Zeno 1 said.
"Cool cool."Zeno 2 said.
Wes puts Kale down and said:"are you alright?"
"Y-Yes."Kale said shy about it.
"Kale."They saw Caulifla coming toward them"okay you jackass you want to get Kale you better get through me." and she was in between them.
"Wait sis, he saved me."Kale said.
"Wait, really?"Caulifla said confused and Wes nodded.
"Well thanks I guess but why save Kale?"Caulifla asked.
Wes turns back and said:"I don't like scum like them that think their strong by ganging up on a weaker person and if you think I was trying to get her attention I have a girlfriend."
Kale was a bit sad hearing that but wanted to know if she could be with him.
"So see ya."Wes said with a smile as he turns back to them.
"Yeah yeah but next time I will kick your butt."Caulifla said.
Wes then returned to the battlefield as now Universe 13 power was revealed as the team will fight more seriously.
Note:this is the first chapter of the tournament of power with Speedwagon High yes I skipped through Universe 9 fights but I wanted to focus more on Universe 13 so not to reuse too many scenes and this is a sequel/spin off to Speedwagon High.
